Before you tweak anything, go here and determine your power consumption (recommended power.) Remember to add a bit if you overclock and/or run onboard graphics, and/or USB mouse/keyboard. Don't forget your sound card (if any), hard drives, CD/DVD drives, system fans, and something other than stock cooling. If you can't find your device, then find the specs and plug in something close. Also, if you OC, list your processor as the one that runs your OC speed (e..g a 2500 clocked to a 3000). Also, don't forget it's better to be a little over than a litle under.

After determining your power consumption, look at the real specs of your supply (available from the label, manual, and/or manufacturer's website) and NOT total Rated Watts. Use the peak max wattage of the +3.3V, +5V, and +12V rails together.
If your total combined configurations come close (say within 10%), meet, or exceed the three rails spec, consider getting a new power supply before you troubleshoot any further.
E.g., if you run an Antec Soultion Series SL400 supply, then, according to specs, your max current draw on the combined +3.3V, +5V, and +12V rails is 380W, not 400W. If your recommended power supply figure (from the above link) is, say 360W to 375W then you might want to think about getting a bigger power supply. If your recommended power supply is 380W or more, get a new supply, no question.
This is not a panacea (cure-all), but a very good place to start.

Hi,
I had the same problem and downgraded to the lower version. now the video works without any problem, but there seems to be another problem. when I want to eject the ipod from itunes, I get a message, that the iPod cannot be ejected because data on the iPod is currently used by an external program...
any idea...?

UPDATE: AFTER RESTARTING THE PC IT WORKED WITHOUT PROBLEMS!
