Log in control and password usage

Hi,
My client is wanting a log-in / password capability on her Muse website e-commerce store (so her resellers can access the store or pages within the website just for them and not for the general public).
Any thoughts on how to implement this?

It would have to be something implemented outside of Muse, as muse does not currently support logins/passwords etc.

My Firefox 9.2.1 will not save log-on IDs and passwords

My wife and I have five Yahoo mail accounts between us and we only use the Firefox browser. We used to get on log-om IDs and passwords saved thru Firefox and we didn't have to re-enter our ID info. Now, every time we sign-out of Firefox, we have to re-enter the ID and password each time. Is this a Yahoo Mail or Firefox issue?

* In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and features like visited links are disabled and not showing

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
If the latter happens then you have a problem with cookies that are not kept or the file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

How do I enter a "log-in name" and "password" in Security Tab options page; some sites block screen-sweeper?

The data screen-sweeper in Mozilla seems to be blocked by some sites I need to log into, since Mozilla security does not input username and password data. How do I input this info thru Options/Security/Saved Passwords tab for these sites? Thanks!

If there is a password field on a web page and you have saved a password then Firefox may try to fill that password and enter the name in the field just above that password field.

Firefox no longer stores log-in names and passwords

Firefox only sporadically prompts me to choose "Remember" when I register a new log-in and password. How can I get Firefox to remember log-ins and passwords, or how can I manually enter them so that the browser remembers them?

How to get weblogic logged in username and password in an MBEAN

Hi,
I have an MBEAN deployed under AdminServer. Want to establish a remote connection to credential Store MBean in base_domain using t3 protocol from this MBean, Which requires weblogic username password, port and host.
What is the best way to get username and password,in an MBEans deployed in AdminServer at runtime.

HELP.....Forgot Log On Username and Password

I have a older Mac Book that is running the OS X Leopard operating system I believe. I put the computer on the shelf years ago. Now I can't remember my user name or password to log onto the computer. There are no other user accounts on the computer. I want to give the computer to my neice for her B-day so any help would be appreciated. I know it is entirely my fault that I didn't write the info down.

Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Reset Password. After resetting the password use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for startup and restart.

I want to make a list of my log in names and passwords that are stored in my Firefox profile to give my wife

Wife and I are old. I am afraid if I die my dear wife won't be able to access any of our joint bank and investment accounts.
All I want to do is provide a list for her. I can see the list in the Security window. I highlighted the list, but cannot copy or print it.
Can someone help, please.

HT5029 Calendar -- I need to subscribe to a school district calendar which log-in requires ID and password

For supervision of academic performance of child, I need to subscribe to a school district calendar which has teacher-supplied info respecting the student. On the web with Safari, there is log-in ID and password required for access. When looking at the data page, it contemplates an iCal subscription as the means of seeing it. Calendar.app can't seem to get there, and I assume it has to do with the fact that ID and password are required. Calendar does not seem to offer me a way to subscribe to a calendar which subscription requires log-in ID and password.

Firefox had saved my login name and password for a site, when I changed the password, FF won't ask to save/update it so I have to enter it manually now. How do I get it to prompt me in FF7.01?

Using FF7.01 on a HP Pavilion dv6775us laptop running Vista Home (updated continuously)
The site owner changed the rules in order to improve password security so I was required to create a new password. When I did so I was not prompted by FF7.01 to save the new password.
When I next logged into the site, FF remembered the user name but presented the old (invalid) password. I was forced to manually enter the new password, but again was not prompted to save it to FF.
I then went into FF Security, viewed the saved passwords and deleted the entry for the site in question. I expected that when I logged into that site the next time I would be asked if I wanted to save the username and password. I wasn't.
I then exited from FF and relaunched it and again logged into the site in question. I was not prompted to save the username or password.
How do I force FF to ask for and then save the username and password?

My problem isn't removing my log-in name and password for a site.
The problem is I already had the log-in name and password saved by FF, but I was required by the site to change the password. FF did not recognize that it had changed and refuses to prompt me to save the new password.
After several attempts to force the prompt, I deleted the site from the Saved Password list, hoping that the next time I entered my log-in name and password on that site FF would ask if I wanted to save both. That did not happen even after exiting FF and relaunching it.
So, right now FF will not save my log-in name and password for a site that it used track for me. Given the complexity of the new password, I really do not want to manually enter it every time I use the site.

Changed my Apple ID, but iCloud ID no longer works. How do I get iCloud ID and password to work now?

I had to terminate my old email address due to excessive SPAM and notes from friends being returned as undeliverable.
I set up a new email account at Outlook.com and then changed my Apple Store log-in ID and password (and that works fine). BUT, iClould asked me to sign in this morning, and I could not do so BECAUSE iCloud still had my old Apple ID (which is now defunct). I attempted to just delete my old iCloud account, BUT it insisted that I enter the correct password for the old ID -- which is no longer valid at Apple and does not work.
So, how do I get rid of my old iCloud account and ID so that it stops pestering me on my iPhone and iPad?

Nope. Can't delete the iCloud account on my iOS devices BECAUSE the password for the account to be deleted must be entered. As I said, I already changed my Apple Store account and password. When I did that, the old user ID and old password were rendered invalid. So, one more time. How do I change or delete my iCloud account. I don't use iCloud, BUT it keeps pestering me to sign in. This is an Apple fiasco!

If I were you I'd change my password and email, like the person above me said.Honestly, you should never give ANY account information to ANYONE- it can really mess things up for you, and in the end since it's YOUR account, YOU will be the one liable for whatever activity transpires on the account, no matter if it really was you that said something or not.Judging by this whole situation, you're probably just a kid. So it's okay.

Corrupted site username and password

At https://cursorium.co.uk when you type in your username and password Firefox 15 saves the info and site login goes fine. On next login Firefox enters the remembered data, but site wont let you log in, username and password error. Typing it in manually lets you log in. This even happens with a fresh install of Windows 7 and Firefox. The same FF version in Linux works fine on that site.
This is the only site that I have found that exhibits the problem.

You can check if there are entries in the password manager with an empty user name.<br />
Make sure that you haven't saved multiple (uppercase, lowercase) versions of that name and password.
*Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
You can remove all stored data from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry (Show All History or History sidebar) or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove everything like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions from that domain, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make a note of those passwords and bookmarks.<br />
You can't recover from that "forget" unless you have a backup of the affected files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

It is asking the name and password for an administrator on the computer. If you are the only use then likely you are also the administrator and you need to use your log in name and password. OSX does this to prevent non-authorized installtion of software on a computer.

Parental access and Time usage control

Hi,
My son has a iPhone4 iOS 8, I try to keep it upgraded. It was mine.
I've turned on Restrictions.
I've activated parental control on my internet access.
But I have no control on usage of the iPhone (access history, time etc..) It seems that it use it always by night.
I've tried to have it on the kitchen all night, without success in fact.
My son has locked the iphone with long password, so it's not easy to upgrade it for the moment. I need him to open it.
Do you think it's possible to develop that we have a "parental" password to access to apple phones... Like administrator session on Mac.
Or is it possible to have a bypass password for "Locate your iphone".

How do I stop Firefox entering my username and password into other fields on pages that are not the log-in page?

On a website I need for my work, I must log-in with username & password. Firefox remembers my name & password perfectly. However, in another section on that same website, when I am filling in calendar information, it enters my my username in the "Location" field. Unfortunately, that is my work ID which is confidential. When I don't notice, it posts it on the very public calendar. Also, it enters my password into a password field (masked), so that no one can rsvp.
It doesn't appear that I can edit the Saved Passwords/Exception in Firefox Options, so I am looking for suggestions!

but not incorrectly at http://workname.com/info/*.*
