Log into Disco with email address

Hi, I have database users that use their email address to log into the application.
They cant do this to log into Discoverer - Ho do you get around this?

If you're trying to connect into Discoverer, then you have either an 'Apps' EUL or a 'standard' EUL. Apps interfaces to Oracle Apps (Enterprise Suite). If an 'Apps' EUL the usernames would have to be allowed as Oracle Apps usernames. If allowed, then would probably be okay in Disco as it just considers the username as an Oracle Apps username.
If a 'standard' EUL, then the users are database names (ie: schemas) and again, would have to be a legal database username to work.
The '@' would be something I'd wonder about right away.

HT204053 Can I log into iCloud with an alias email?

Noob here, did a search and couldn't seem to find an answer. (or I didnt look hard enough. ) So aplogies if these have already been asked before.
I want to change my iCloud email address, but I've searched around here and read that you can't change it once you create it and link it to your apple ID. So, I created an alias and was wondering if you could log into iCloud with an alias email?
For example if my iCloud address is [email protected] and my alias was [email protected], could I go to icloud.com and login using [email protected]?
Also, what are the proper steps to get the alias email to behave like the icloud primary email;I stupidly chose a dumb icloud email address and regret it, and if I set the alias to be the only email to be able to send mail in my iphone and macbook, can I basically ignore the primary icloud email and use the alias the whole time to send and compose mail?
Also, I don't necessarily need to know/use the primary icloud email, since I use my apple ID to log into icloud.com?
From what I understand, the primary icloud that is linked to your apple ID is mail server, right? I'm not really sure, to be honest.

In the Mail application on your Mac, add the aliases, separated by commas, to the 'Email address' field in Preferences>Accounts>General. They will then appear in the drop-down menu for the 'From' address in the New message pane.
They already appear in the equivalent place in the new message pane at icloud.com.

Entering Names with Email Addresses

Hi All.
New user here.
Would someone mind giving me some tips on entering names with email addresses into a list of magazines in Numbers?
Is there a way to de-activate the clickable link for email addresses temporarily?
Is there a way to enter these from an external document such as Pages in a single cell? Right now I do this and (the paragarph return?) causes them to scatter across a number of cells in a way I don't understand.
Is there a way to have the addresses get listed with name and then the email address on one line and then the next name and address on the next line etc? Right now if I hit return it throws me down to the next cell.
Finally, is there a way to get the column headings to show up near the column alphabet at the top when i am scrolled down to a point where I can't see the name for the column? Right now if I am scrolled down it is hard to know which column to put information into.

Yes, in the Hyperlink Inspector.

Double-click in the cell before pasting.

Instead of hitting Return, hit Tab.

In Sheet View mode, select "Freeze Header Rows" in the Header control on the Format Bar.

How do I log into my Icloud Email on my PC

Last week I was able to log into my Icloud email on my PC and setup folders for eamil I can see those folders on my Icloud account on my IPad-2 and Iphone 3GS I tried logging into icloud.com all that does is show me a map were my devices are at , I want to log into my icloud account with my PC so I can access my inbox and setup folders , what is the url for that and how do I access it ?

Why is my iPod asking me to log into my old email?

Hey everyone, I've searched everywhere and still not found a solution for this, so I thought I'd post myself.
So, I changed my apple ID email back a few months ago, and ever since, it's asked me to periodically log into that old email, I log into the new one to download
apps and things, but the old one just randomly pops up, and is really annoying. Is there anyway I can fix this?
I've tried:
• Logging the old email out from EVERYTHING.
• Deleting and reinstalling all apps under the old email.
• Resetting everything besides contacts and things.
• Contacting apple. [they didn't really understand my problem].
• Pretty much anything else I've seen on other forums.
Haven't tried:
• Full restore [Really want to avoid at all cost].
Can anyone help me? Btw, I have the second newest gen iPod touch.

What are you doing when you get that message? Are you opening an app? Checking Mail?

Hi,
When I try to log into messages with my aol/aim account, it keeps on saying that the username and/or password is incorrect. Neither are incorrect as I can log into the account on the aim web settings page and on the aol page.

If you change your passord on AOL, for security they block your new password on your iPad but not on your PC. I downloaded the AOL application on my iPad and then used that to change my password on AOL and then my Mail on my iPad fully works. I then used my AOL new password on my PC and now everything works.

Can Log Into ICloud with Apple ID - but wrong Apple ID is shown in Account Settings

So no problem logging into my wife's ICloud account with her regular AppleID and password. Once within her ICloud account, when you click on her name ("profile icon") in upper right corner - her Apple ID in the bottom field is not her Apple ID. My assumption is that it should be her normal Apple ID, (which is an AOL email address), correct? How can we fix this?
The Apple ID that currently shows is actually a "mistake" that has no password associated with it. It was created when I made an [email protected] email address for our daughter, so she could have her own Apple ID for FaceTime on her iPod. When creating that [email protected] address on her iPod, it told me that the name was already taken, and offered me an alternative, which I agreed to. So now there must be the original owner of this [email protected] address that is now associated within my wife's ICloud Account.
How do I fix this error?

This is not unique to Firefox; Camino and Safari also have this problem. I cannot log into my student email online.

I am using a 2005 model eMac computer with Airport Extreme card installed; when I try to log into the email site for the university, the computer does not prompt me for approval of their certificate. What is happening? This is not an issue with any other site.

I finally figured it out. I had always been able to login with just my Account Name. Now I have to use the email address of the account name. Not sure why that is. So I just added "@xxxx.com" to the Account Name and now it works. I don't have an a Mobileme associated with the Account Name.

Hi there, are you having trouble logging into the ePrint Center at this point (see the image below)?
If so, you can click on the Forgotten your password link where you will be prompted to enter the e-mail address you used to setup your ePrint Center account. If you can't remember the e-mail you used to setup the account you can do the following:
From the display on your printers front panel remove web services by clicking Setup>Wireless>Web Services
Once this is done, re-enable web services by following the same path. The printer should print an information sheet once you've re-enabled web services. This sheet will contain a new printer code.
In ePrint Center click the Sign-In button and then select the Sign Up option at the top of the box
Go ahead and setup a new ePC account and when prompted enter the new printer code from the information sheet
Your printer is now no longer attached to your old ePC account and will show up in the Printers section of your new account.
Just be aware that the printer now has a new e-mail address so if you've shared the previous address with family or friends you'll need to let them now the new one.

Cannot log into account. Email will not verify

I logged into my account and changed the apple id and email. Now, I tried to log back in but I have to verify the new email address. I received the email with the link. I enter my id and password. The next page says "Sorry your session has timed out". I am very frustrated with this crap. Please help!!! Thanks

Hello mjJ62; sorry to learn that you are having this issue;
- Clear your cokies and interner history, if that did not work;
Try another browser i.e chrome, firefox Iinternet explorer, safari, or another one,
if may help you sign in with an alternative account such as google, facebook note the icons in the hpeprintcenter.com site

How can I change the acct I log into MSDN with

I would like to change the email username I use to log onto MSND from something not Microsoft related to an email address that is Microsoft related. Something like [email protected] or [email protected] I have already set up accounts on Outlook and
