Log of copied files?

Question

Is there some place in the assorted multitude of Console logs that reports what files were copied to or from network volumes?
It's very nice for the MacOS to pop up a Copying... dialogue when it's taking more than a second or two, but sometimes the copying is so quick that we are not sure if we have actually dragged the files or not and sometimes we find we've dragged them to the wrong folders.
It would be nice to place an alias to that log so if we are having a senior moment we can just open it and check what we just did.

I believe that if you right-click on a directory and
select Paste, it will put the files inside that
directory.
I will give it a try and suggest it as an option if it works.
Click-n-drag habits in daily use since '84 are pretty hard to break and copy-click-rightclick-selectpaste will probably be seen as too many additional steps. In addition I can easily foresee issues where the user does not solidly hit Apple+C (or misses the menu choice) and pastes the previous clipboard-load of files instead of the ones she is certain she had selected.
Upon reconsideration, having a log to point to would be pointless as CMA insurance when I have watched her drag a selection of hundreds of files to what was obviously the wrong folder, and then swear that the Finder put them in the wrong place. It would simply provide proof that the Finder is not putting things where she tells it to.
