Log Reader Agent and Snapshot Agent wont start

Hi There,
I've two SQL 2012 servers with multiple instances installed.
I've started replicating the databases in these instances using transactional replication and thus far they've worked without a hitch.
One of my instances, annoyingly, has an issue where the Log Reader Agent and Snapshot Agent refuse to start, and I've followed exactly the same process as with the other instances\databases.
The Agents are configured to make use of a domain user account with sysadmin permissions to the instances on both servers.
I get the following two error when I View Log Reader Agent Status:
The job failed. The Job was invoked by User sa. The last step to run was step 2 (Run agent.).
I've asked the agent to run as my DOMAIN\sqlservice account, so I've no idea why it's moaning about sa?!!?
I get the following error when I View Snapshot Agent Status:
The replication agent has not logged a progress message in 10 minutes. This might indicate an unresponsive agent or high system activity. Verify that records are being replicated to the destination and that connections to the Subscriber, Publisher, and Di
If I try to start either agent I'm told that the request to run job was refused because the job has been suspended, "Changed database context"?? Error 22022.
Can anyone help?

This is because your job owner is sa. Right click on your job and notice the owner - but is should be sa.
You likely have another issue. You may need to run the job and configure it for logging to see what the error is.

Satellite U400-14B shuts itself off and now it wont start up

Hi
just got a new Satellite U400 this week.
Was working perfectly the first few days, then last night, it just shuts itself off and now it wont start up.
I press the on button and the row of lights next to it light up, but nothing happens I dont even get as far as the Toshiba screen.
I have tried many things. I left it plugged in overnight, tried taking the battery out and no result as of now.
The little led lights on the bottom indicate that there its plugged in, the battery is white not orange, when pressed they all light up again only for a split second.
The only thing I can liken this too is when a car wont start and you keep turning and turning the key, well in this case pushing a button, and nothing happens, the fans dont whir or anything...
help please...

Has extra Memory (RAM) been installed? Try removing one Memory Module and try a different Memory Slot.
If bad memory is not the problem, then there is not much else you can do except send it to an ASP for warranty repairs.

KDE4.1 ssh-agent and gpg-agent

Suddenly after an update of kdeworkspace my ssh-agent and gpg-agent have stopped working. Does anyone else have also this problem?

I've also had this problem, although I don't know the exact time it stopped working as I have not had to use my laptop to ssh for a while.
Everything seems to get created OK - the socket is created:
[daren@daren_laptop env]$ ll /tmp/gpg-MZi0kX/
total 0

and the env variable points to it:
[daren@daren_laptop env]$ env | grep GPG

and the agent is running on the correct pid:

If i run ssh-add from the command line, I get this:

I'm not that clued up on using the agent - it's always "just worked" after adding the script to ~/.kde4/env, but I'm kind of stuck now. There was another post about issues with KDE 4.1 and the agents, but they resolved theirs by doing what I've had setup for a while now.

When downloading application updates, which are over a GB, my MacBook Air keeps logging me out and I have to start the download over. I have the power settings set to never turn off, and the display set to never go to screen saver.

I have the following system
OS/ Applications details
1) Windows 2003 enterprise edition 32 bit
2) MS SQL Server 2005
3) SAP ECC 6.0
Sever details
1)     IBM x3650 dual Xeon server 5120@ 1.86 GHz,
2)     RAID level I
3)     RAM 8 GB
I want to go for Symantec database backup software. What information I have is, to take SAP systems database backup through Symantec you need to have.
1) SQL Agent of Symantec
2) SAP Agent of Symantec
                Given these information can you please help me out in putting the backup system in place.?

Doubt in possible agent and responsible agent.

Hi All.
Can any one please help me in solving difference between possbile agents as responsible agents.
As per my understanding we will maintain the possible agents in the task definition and responsible agents in the work flow definition.
For example if a invoice posting needs to be handled,if i define three agents in the task definition as possible agents who will become the responsible agents out of three..
can any one please help me in understanding the difference between possible agent and responsible agent?

If in activity level any agent is maintain like we maintain &_wf_initiator& generally. that agent is the responsible agent .. or if any rule is maintained then the agents selected by the rule will be responsible agents but the ..
There is something which you have missed is recipients .. who actually receives the workitems in their inboxs.. these are the user who are the intersection of possible and responsible agents..
In short
Possible agents as you have said..
Responsible are the agents you maintain at activity level or get selected by the rule.
and Recipents who actually gets the workitem..

Difference between local agent and standalone agent

Local agent will be running under the context of the main ODI session i.e. it is linked to an open session of the designer, operator etc. Standalone ODI agents run in their own JVM process and could be installed on any server and do not require an open instance of the ODI client GUI to run scenarios

Hi My start up disk is full and my computer wont start how do I get the system to reboot again?

Ensure that the external is correctly formatted
Drag and dropped the files
Test to be sure that the moved files work
Once the moved files work delete the originals

I fully agree with BDAqua.
Don't do anything with this Mac until you have an external disk which you can boot your Mac from.
Not all USB disks are easy to boot from - FireWire is better
When you have a suitable empty external disk I advise:
Put install DVD into damaged Mac
partitioning external disk into 2 volumes
install OS onto one volume of external disk
Don't import anything during install process - it may reintroduce historic problems
Boot external disk
Use finder to copy critical data from Mac to volume of external disk with OS
Use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the whole Mac hard disk to the other external volume
Boot into installer DVD and erase Mac's internal disk
Partition internal disk into 2 volumes and install OSs as required

I ended a host proces and now firefox wont start up Help?

Well Before this everything was fine but now, after i ended a host process (dont know wich one) i open up firefox and it just stays still or frozen and so it wont start up,
I tries restarting the laptop a couple times but nothing.
Id like to also know maybe how to restart that host process i ended thanks.

Installed new memory and Macbook Pro wont start.

I bought a total of 8GB from PNY for my mid 2009 MacBook Pro (2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo). I installed it and my macbook wont turn on. When I press the power button it just beeps. The LCD doesnt turn on. I reinstalled it a few times to make sure that it is sitting correctly with no luck. I reinstalled my old memory (2x2gb) and it works fine.
The new memory I bought is PNY 8GB (2x 4GB) Bual Channel DDR3 PC3-10666. The package says that it is compatiable with 1333MHz and 1066MHz. This is the listed memory on the PNY website for Mac laptops.
Am I using the worng type of memory? I'm pretty sure my MacBook Pro can take 8GB...right?

What happens when you reinstall the old original memory? Does the computer boot then?

Just updated and now iTunes wont start

I have just updated iMac as I havn't used it for a while.
iTunes wont start.
Any ideas?

My iMac just came back from the shop with a new logic board. It had been out of commission for a few months so I just did the the general software update.
Tried clicking from the apps folder but this didnt work either.
But....
Got a tip from another online blog and just downloaded itunes from the apple site and reinstalled it. This fixed the problem. Had to do the same with Quiktime as well as it wouldn't open all movie types.

I started my A1286 2009 MBP, and only got the apple and the spining wheel. tried doing a fresh install using the MBP repair disks and everytime it says Error during installation. started it up Pressing the "C" and using the "option Key" no success?
I hear the HD running but it never starts. Replaced HD then tried using disk utility to format HD but it wont, because cant unmount HD. tried to erase HD but it wont unmount to erase.
I talked to a Apple repair shop and he said maybe it is the HD connction cable which is $25.00, but then he said it could also be the Logic board $299.00.
Has anyone had the same issues and had success in getting the problems solved?

You have to hold the C or option key on a wired or built in keyboard with the disk in the machine, then boot it and it will either directly boot (c key) or you select it to boot via Startup Manager and click the arrow.
This might not work is if there is a firmware password set or your EFI firmware has been wiped off the NVRAM chips.
If it was a firmware password it would ask you for it with the c key, if the option key you have to first head to Firmware Password Reset under the Utilities menu and enter it, then disable it.
If you don't have EFI firmware, it usually boots to a white screen and no at boot keys work at all, there is a method in the Steps to reinstall it manually from cd, but you need another Mac.

There is Terminal under your OS X 10.6 disk > Utilites and I have commands here to force unmount a drive.
Drive won't "unmount". First check for Spotlight or open programs using the drive/volume, reboot.
Force unmounting launch Terminal type diskutil list and press enter/return for a list of devices.
Take the Identifier and add here for volumes: diskutil unmount force Identifier and press enter/return.
Take the Identifier and add here for disks: diskutil unmountDisk force Identifier and press enter/return.

It might be the cable, but I would place the original drive back in and run through the Steps for software repair first, I suspect the #8 Reintall Just OS X + Software update fully should get you working again when you get to it.
The 10.6 disk has to be clean and polished on the bottom, any smudges or scratches and it's not going to work well.
