Log symbol problem

hi- i have n85 and it always shows the mobile symbol in the log- i want to know if there is a way to solve this problem? and also is this problem solved in n97 or not?

It's the same in all versions of all S60 phones.

New log rotation problem

I have resolved some log rotation problem...I have set del log rtation by size...and now the first time the log rotate,but then the output continue to go on the lod with the extension .log001 and not on the configured file.
why?

no,it the server rotates the log only the first time but then it continues to write on the .log001.On the original file it continues to write some server exception.

Log in problems-please help!

Hi everybody!
I repost my log in problems with some uppdate info, it may help someone to come up with a solution....I am no computer expert, so please excuse my way of describing this problem.
I switched my Mac off manually after having been frozen from the sleep mode.
I have 2 accounts, one admin and one regular. I try to log into my admin, and I get the message "You are unable to log in to the user "my username" at this time".
I restart the computer, same problem again. I can log in to my second account with no problem. I reinstall OS X, same problem again. I ran the disk utility from the installation CD, even changed the passwords and I am still gettig the same message. Neither can I log in when in safe mode.
I would appreciate any suggestion, since my admin account contains valuable data and to reinstal/restore everything will be a pain..and probably impossible. Moreover, the data are encoded in the file vault and I cannot open them from my regular account, or can I? I have tried to open the sparseimage file in the admin user catalog, but I get "no mountable file systems".
Is there any hope? Or should I return my Mac to Apple, in 3 days my one year guarantee expires....

Sorry to hear of your difficulties, but unfortunately, the above message suggests that your data is likely permanently lost.
When data is stored in a disk image, damage to any portion of that image has the potential to render all of the files on the image inaccessible. Shutting off the power to the computer without "shutting down" normally increases the risk of damage to the directory in general, but if the image was actually mounted at the time, then damage could also occur to the directory in the disk image. Sometimes such errors may be repairable, but with "FileVault", the disk image is encrypted, reducing the chances of a successful recovery. It is unfortunate that nobody told you that maintaining up to date backups is essential when working with "FileVault" protected accounts.

Normally, only the owner of the ".sparseimage" used in "Filevault" is able to access the image to attempt to open it - this is strictly a permissions issue and has nothing to do with encryption. If someone other than the owner attempts to open the disk image, the message is something like "Filesystem failed to mount... permissions denied". If the permissions are changed such that other users are allowed to use the ".sparseimage", the they would normally be prompted for the password and be allowed to mount the image. However, the "no mountable file systems" error indicates a problem with the image itself.
It is not likely to succeed because I think the filesystem needs to be mounted for this to work, but there is no harm in trying to repair the disk image. Control-click on the "user.sparseimage" file and select "Get Info" from the contextual menu. Under ownership and permissions, change the "Owner" to the second user, or else give "Owner", "Group" and "Other" "Read & Write" access, then follow the instructions in this document:

I don't think you will be able to return your computer - check the documentation to make sure, but I think the "one year" only covers repairs if there is an actual physical defect - perhaps what is responsible for the original sleep problem. However, if you suspect you may have a lemon, you might want to consider buying two more years of AppleCare coverage as insurance, but I think it has to be activated before the original 1 year is up so you would have to hurry. But so far, I don't see any solid evidence of a defect - loss of the user data can be attributed to cutting the power without shutting down, which you said you have done more than once.

Log on problem

Hi to all, I've a log in problem. One year ago i Signed in in spotify with facebook account with my current email. About 6 months ago i deleted my facebook account permanently Now,i would create a new account from my email, and system says that email is already in use (when i was registered with facebook. account) So now i Signed in with an another email, but i would change this settings to my original email. What can I do?I cannot find the solution. Thanks.

Major log-in problems at the moment. Is XP to blam...

There are quite a few threads on log-in problems at the moment and the Moderators have taken an interest e.g. https://community.bt.com/t5/Other-Broadband-Queries/Email-log-in-issues-for-over-a-week/m-p/1145486/...
I've have asked here in several threads if BT has an issue with XP.
At the moment I cannot log-in on my XP desktop. I've tried IE8, Chrome & Firefox. I've not installed Safari - yet.
The screen stays white and says 'connecting to BT' and stays like that for ages.
Is anyone else having this problem. If so, are you on XP?

BT websites have problems with IE8. XP and Google Chrome do not have the same issues. I notice that if you click on the email tab in the forum using Google chrome you need to login to your BT ID before logging in to your email.
With IE8 when I use my standard link to the forum it does not display the blue bar with the email tab.
Using XP you have the luxury of using Outlook Express to handle your emails. IMHO this is by far the best email client to use for HOME use.
I would suggest you concentrate on why you are having problems with XP and Google Chrome as the XP, IE8 and BT issues are unlikely to be fixed.

Archck Unresolved snd symbols problems [solved]

Been gone for 2 weeks, come back, and BAM -- new kernel patchset, new DEVFS-free kernel version, new ati-drivers... lots to do.

These errors occur over and over again - causes the lshwd daemon to take a long time to finish.
I've searched the forum, can't see a topic about this yet, so I hope I'm not re-posting a problem that's already been brought up. Any advice would be very helpful, since now I don't have sound in this kernel.

I had the same issue when I installed Kernel 2.6.13-archck1.
Also my ipw200 module did not load. So I booted into archck1 and installed ipw2200 from the tar.gz and then also ran 'alsaconf' to setup the sound card.
Rebooted and, presto everything is working fine again.

Regional symbol problems using precalculation server ?

BI server OS - AIX v6.1
BI - Netweaver v7.0
Precalc server OS - Windows 2003 SP2.
Precalc service - v7 patch 5
SAPGUI - v7.20 patch 8
Running precalculation server to generate excel report.
"SAP BW Precalculation Service Multi Instance" service logs on as prec1 windows user. Report generated this way contains wrong national symbols.
But if I log on interactively on precalculation host using prec1 and do report generation using BI analyzer - I get right regional symbols.
prec1 is windows local user and member of administrators group.
any ideas ?

Log on problem India: Invalid character

Dear all,
we have running a BI 7.0 Portal. We have a guidline how to set up the Internet-Settings (IE 6) for using the portal. It works fine for all our subsituaries, with exeption of India.
In India, we get the log on screen and we can enter the user name and PW. By confirming this data, we receice the message:
Line: 2
Char: 1
Code: 0
Error: Invalid character
Additionaly we receive the following message:
Line: 1161
Char: 1
Error: 'EPCM.getSAPTop().gHistoryFrameworkObj'is null or not an object
Code: 0
Do you know how to analyse or solve the problem?

Log On problem via webgui. sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui

Hello, would you be so kind to help me in my problem.
I have sap web as 7.00, and i have published a service for using "sap gui for html" via browser from the Remote Place.

icm/server_port_0 i made 80 in the profile
(icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80).
But there is such a problem.
When u try to connect using this url it gives u the log on screen to enter your user/password (u can even change it!!)
but when you try to log on it just refreshes the screen and nothing actually happens.
The same time when you are doing it licaly in the office everything works fine.
Does anybody know what can be the solution of this problem?

And i tried mannually to publish "SYSTEM" and "SHUFFLER" services. The same time "WEBGUI" service works fine in the office. Those two i also can publish, but i can't start them in SE80.

sap/bc/gui/sap/its/system/ call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available. And i can't find such a service following that link... Still it shows that it has been published.
May be it is so because i can't test the service

Multiple Users/Logging In Problem

Using Multiple Users I added a second user to our iMac DV400 (blueberry, slot loading) running OS9.2.1. The problem: now we can only log on to the second user's desktop and can't access the primary user's desktop. Since the second user is set up with limited user privileges, we can't access the system programs; most importantly, the Multiple Users program so that we can revert this problem by deleting the second user from the system. Can anyone offer some help?

Start from your Mac OS installer CD (insert it and hold the c key, release the key when you see the "Welome To Macintosh" message)
Open your hard drive and locate the System folder. Open that and locate the Preferences folder. From that folder, delete the three preference files and one folder with "Multi User" in their names.
Restart as normal and empty the trash. You will have to re-create the user accounts.

I am constantly having log in problems with my Apple TV

I have the latest version of the Apple TV (bought it about 2 months ago from Currys) and I have updated it so it is up to date, but after a few weeks I got the message 'could not sign in unknown error' and when I tried to sign back in using my apple id and password, the same message came up. I knew my password was right so I came on this site and found a post where somebody had the same problem as me and they had to restore their Apple TV. After reading this I decided to restore my Apple TV, and since then it worked. Another few weeks later this happened again, so I did the same and now it has been about 2 days since I did the second restore and this is happening again. I cannot understand why this is happening when my apple id and password are correct each time, it just logs me out for no reason! I'm fed up of doing restores. Is there a permanent solution to this problem?

Logging configuration problem

I am working with JRun4. My problem is logging.
logging mechanism can send messages to these destinations:
1) The console screen
2) The Log file.
In both cases , logging information is obtained. but The console screen shows information which i print by System.out.println() , and The log file shows information which is Event generated. I want to store information in a file , which is given by System.out.printlln().
I have done entries in jrun.xml as

In my program I get an Xml from an exist database and want to place it in the hard drive.
I have made the xerces imports I need:

Neither really,
GrammarWriter.OutPutFormat is the name of the class,
GrammarWriter$OutPutFormat.class is the file into which the class is stored.
As to you problem the error messages you posted referred to

No internet connection, log-in problems.. No help.

I've had a lot of troubles with my spotify this year. (Android)Months ago I didn't have any connection even though I was at home using my Wifi. I found help online and I was told to go to Settings in spotify and delete all cache and saved data. And then re-install the app. That was a downer cause I had to re-download all my downloaded albums or lists.Anyway, after doing this I had problems logging in with my new app. After a couple of times trying it finally worked. But it didn't last long. Maybe after 2-3 days my connection was again "gone". Even though I had full internet connection. I had to use my mobile network to listen to music, to download music (I use Premium) and my phone bills just kept getting bigger. I did the same thing all over again.. Clean all cache and data and reinstalled the app.. And now I can't even log in anymore. It's been like this for a couple of months now. I'm considering to just give up and don't use Spotify anymore.

To get this looked into, could you let us know the following:
- Which make/model of device are you using?
- Which OS are you running?
- Which version of Spotify are you using?
- Does this happen with other devices, or is this device specific?
- Do you have an SD card inserted in the device?
Also, we'd recommend to check how many devices are showing at this link. How does that look?

Symbol problems and fonts

Hi all!
I have been plagued with a problem when trying to use symbols and think I have figured out what it is:
Custom Fonts not loading!
I'm using two custom fonts in my symbols and sometimes when I upload the project to the web, the fonts are not showing in the project symbols. They ARE uploaded correctly.
The following also seems to happen almost ALL the time (I think it is 100% of the time):
1. I have my symbols in my currently working page loaded into edge and all works as it should, both inside Edge as well as when loading the current page into a browser from Edge.
2. I create a new page and save it to the SAME directory folder as the original working page.
3. I set the stage to the same size as the working page, then "import" the symbol.
4. The font in question is showing automatically under "fonts" and is showing under the "text" drop down to the left in Edge correctly for the selected texts.
5. From here on out, the custom font DOES NOT SHOW in Edge, nor when I try to test in a browser from Edge!
This, of course, is throwing a lot of stuff off in the symbol that has driven me crazy trying to figure out what was happening! wherever the font is used in the symbol, most of the text is too big and causing havoc with the design (wrapping, not being hidden" as it should until the appropriate time, etc...). Until I figured this out, I was even rebuilding entire symbols just to try and fix a problem that I wasn't even aware what it was!
So, obviously, my question is - How to resolve this?
I have ONE working page (and a lot of copies!). Several of these symbols were created to be used elsewhere as well but since everytime I try and load them into a new page they fall apart, I'm in a jam :-)
Has anyone else run into this or have any ideas as to how to resolve this?

ok, I stand before you, head bowed in humiliation, begging for your forgiveness :-)
I'm not sure what is going on but I found the font problem (or at least it seems so).
Somehow (and I don't know how but I think I've been "duplicating the same folder content each time I start a new page to test and make changes (since the problem, I have been scared to touch anything that WAS working).
Well, it seems that the "duplicated" folder was missing my "CSS" folder in every one!
That explains why, even though the fonts and all the settings in Edge showed everything as being correct - they were; all except the CSS page that loaded the fonts!!!
Again, I humbly apologize - I really do try and find the problem BEFORE posting here; this one just eluded me :-)
