Logged in but can't get in any playlists!
I installed a completely CLEAN installation of Windows 7 on my pc. After this install I did not install iTunes directly, since I already hate the program due to lack of logics in it, or even it being unable to do as I want. (including leaving my carefully sorted files where they are!) But now this problem is getting even so big that I can NOT get any playlist opened at all! I installed iTunes today (clean install), I been trying to get it working for at least 7 hours now without any success.
I have this since I have this iTouch series 1, so this problem keeps bugging me. And now i can't do anything at all! I can create a new playlist and a new smart playlist, but thats as far as iTunes let's me. I can NOT see anything besides a default message with 2 options when I click that new playlist:
"Playlist"
"Burn music on CD" - "share with others"

So I only see these things and NOT the music within the playlist that should be there. Meaning I am unable to sink my playlist on my iTouch, making it no more then a very expansive useless toy. Yes I logged in, but this seems to be pointless as well. No changes in this either.
I tried using my Winamp playlists and import those, since Winamp is my main player. Works great and playlist making is easy and quick. No useless toys that I don't need/want attached. But since Winamp is not able to sinc the playlist with the iTouch to my knowlage, I can't use that program to do that. Playlists generated by Winamp also do the same as the iTunes generated playlists, show nothing more then that there is a playlist name.
Im seriously getting angry here and fed-up with this, is there anyone that can help me out? Or am I forced (yet again) to pay for something that never worked for me in the first place? =( (which will force me to see a lawyer I guess). I just had it with iTunes and how Apple thinks they should treat their customers, I had nothing but missery with both my iTouch as iTunes so far =*( The Apple-stores are not much help either, tried 2 so far. But only thing I got is the same problems after their "help".
Can anyone please help me figure this out please?
Not sure what you might be seeing. The login in the uppper right corner of the page is for Adobe.com. You also need to be signed into Forums (upper left side, just below the black Forums Banner). I'll check on the insert image button. It should be active.

If they are no longer in your camera roll, save them to your camera roll before deleting the account (open your my photo stream album, tap Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward pointing arrow, the tap Save to Camera Roll).

A couple nights ago, there was a blackout at my house. This happened while my iMac was on.
It connects using the Airport wireless modem to my landlord's router 3 stories up.
Since the blackout, I've been "connected" to his network, but haven't been able to get on any websites. Do I simply need him to reset his router, or is there a deeper problem? Thanks!

A UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) is a battery back up, so if you power goes out you can finish up what you're working on and shut down normally.
I had a similar incident this week, power went out all computers, modem and router went out. After power was restored all started up fine and looked good. Wireless router showed I was connected to the internet but could not surf any site. I had changed my email account password several weeks earlier (email account provided by my ISP) and did not think this had anything to do my boradband connection, but I was wrong.
To make a long story short, I had to update the password as it related to my broadband connection. The connection was there, it just did not recognize my new password because I had changed it... If you control the account and you've changed any passwords associated with account yu will have to update or your landlord will have to update... make sense?

How do I recover playlist or at a minimum purchased music/apps on itunes?
The only way to get playlists back is if you backed them up, iTunes does are not store them online.
In terms of apps and music purchases then you should be able to re-download them from iTunes (assuming that they're still available and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy/download them) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 (music re-downloading is only available in the US but I assume that you are in West Des Moines in the US).
In the future it's best to make and maintain backups of your content - iTunes content, including apps and music, could be removed from the store, in which case you wouldn't be able to re-download them. -
I recently added photoshop elements 12 to my computer but can't get past the initial log in screen. It goes gray and spins. I have a current serial number and log in ID/password but still not working. Any thoughts?

I recommend you contact AT&T's dedicated BB Support staff (call their front line, request escalation to BB Support) and have them check to be sure that your account with them is correctly configured for this device. Sometimes when switching devices things don't fully automatically move behind the scenes, and only they (ATT) can validate that.

Trying to log into a "go to webinar" session but can't get any alpha characters to appear on keyboard so I can type in the password - can anyone provide any help?
The number keys are the main items that show up with the alpha letters also there like they are when you are in the phone dialing mode keypad. Can't seem to get to the alpha characters.

I have taken my 750GB HD out of my 17" MacBook Pro and put it into a 2.5" USB to SATA enclosure but can't get it to open up on my new 11" MacBook Air. Any ideas please.

The main part of the safari page is grey and won't respond/can't type in any commands. I can move back through the previous pages, and even open new ones via the URL, but can't get onto the main part of the page and I can't get onto the 9 page option. !?
Help, please.Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -
I have replaced my ibook hard drive but when I start up I get a folder with a flashing question mark. I have tried installing the OSX disk using the "C" key but can't get any further than the flashing "?." What do I do? What is the problem?

Which version of the OS is installed, and which version are you trying to install?
You could try starting up with Startup Manager and see if it will allow you to select the OS X install disc as the startup disk. If so, maybe you can proceed from there. I would recommend repairing the hard drive first since you are evidently having a bit of a problem with it. -

itunes error message "file cannot be found..." I know the file is somewhere since I find it when I do a system search and it plays, but can't get itunes to see it. Any help?

I updated my first generation iPad to version 5.1.1 and won't go past the setup screen that asks if I want to use the iPad locator. I can go back but can't get any further
I just updated my original iPad 32 GB WiFi to iOS 5.1 about fifteen minutes ago. But I did it with the system restore feature in iTunes. So it wiped out everything on my iPad. But it did work. Then I restored an earlier backup and all went fine. Maybe you could try backing up your iPad and then using Restore to get it back to factory settings to see what happens.
