Logging into EBS 11.5.10.2 is slow

Hi all,
We are running a year end process and no of concurent users are 7500 and since morning we have issues trying to login into EB-Suite ,The login is happening but its taking 1 minute to get the login page.we have 1 3 million records in wf_notifications table.We had run the purge wf data previous night and it completed successfully.How can we improve the performance of the system,Can we increase the jvm size from 512 to 1024 ,will it improve the performance to a certain extent.Or do let us know where else we can look for issues.I am seeing the load on the server and its not too much.

Is it possible to configure EBS authentication that allows users to directly authenticate against the EBS database? I see some documentation/threads on this but it seems to be for setting up a link "within EBS" to use EBS credentials to log into OBIEE. Has anyone successfully configured security to directly autheticate against EBS DB (bypassing the need to log into EBS).

I am using Firefox 4.01 on a Mac, I have entered usernames while logging into Yahoo and sometimes, because networks are slow, I have put the password in too - How can I get rid of usernames offered at the login stage?

When I go to log into Yahoo now it offers me a list of possible log on ids. Because of mistakes in typing some of them have the passwords on them too. How can I remove this list?

That worked and was really convenient - and I wouldn't have guessed it in a year. (Well I didn't guess it all last year anyway!)

Cannot log into 11.5.10.2 AppsLogin.jsp No Class DefFoundError

Hi All ,
I am not able to login into EBS 11.5.10.2 . I was trying to upgrade my 10.2.0 database to 11.1.0.7 . I was following all the notes and successfuly installed 11.1.0.6 software . Unfortunately I ran a command which corrrupted my datafiles .
I went back to my 10.2.0 backup database and restored the 10g database . The database is up and running . I had also backed APPL_TOP, COMMON_TOP , IAS_ORACLE_HOME . I restored only the APPL_TOP . Once I did the restore of APPL_TOP and started the services , I am not able to login to either OAM or EBS Home Page .
I followed many forums and metalink notes but couldnt resolve the issue . I checked the GUEST user is intact , so is the APPL_SERVER_ID is correct in the dbc file and the database

Couldn't log into SAP System (message 00264) after SAP_BASIS update

Hello,
we performed SAP_BASIS update to SAPKB70023 and get a problem with logon into a SAP system with message 00264 (Status &2 of the user interface &1 missing).
We have a 64-bit non-Unicode system on Solaris/SPARC/Oracle and Kernel level 333.
We tried to import MENUSYST program from note 1285869, but nothing happened at all. The parameter abap/unicode_check we set to "on" but this didn't help us.
So after selecting system record in SAP Logon now we get the initial logon screen with no "new password" button and error 00264 (Status 0020 of the user interface SAPMSYST missing.) and couldn't log into the system.
We have no idea why correct and existing statuses are not working.
Please suggest us what to do to fix this problem.

HT2623 I forgot the password for my .mac account and cannot log into it from Apple Mail. I have an iCloud mail account but did not convert my .mac account to iCloud. How can I log into my .mac or .me email?

I set up .mac, including email, around 2006. I believe my .mac account became a .me account, but I continued to receive email sent to .mac until about March 2013.
I accessed my .mac account using Apple Mail on an iMac running OS X 4.11. I'm still using that machine.
In July 2013, I upgraded my MacBook Pro to OS X 8.5, bought an iPod Touch and set up an iCloud account.
I forgot my .mac password and I want to open an email message sent to my .mac email account.
When I attempt to log into my .mac account using Apple Mail, my password attempts are rejected by a .me mail server.
Is there any way I can restore my access to my .mac or .me email?

Why do i have two game center accounts on one apple id and how do i log into the other one

One day while i was bored i started up a game but all of my progress items and everything that i paid for was gone and it was the same in all of my other game center related apps. After a long chain of emails with the maker of the game he stopped being helpful but we figured out that i have two game center accounts but only one apple id. So how do i log into the account with all of my data?

Get a separate Apple ID for one of the phones. Or turn OFF iCloud contacts synching on the one you do not want contacts to synch.

How can I log into my itunes account on a different computer?

You see, I have a PC and my husband has a mac. My PC has recently died (due, I might add, to some music I downloaded from itunes that decided not to work properly, prevented any upgrades on the PC and then brutally killed it), but I need to sync my iphone (I'm upgrading) only when I plug it into his mac I only see his music... I've got A LOT more music than he does and I don't want to lose it all. I would have thought it'd be easier on a mac, you know, plug and go, but apparently not.
I played with the sharing function, only then it told me to upgrade to iTunes 10.something and the sharing option went away. I have checked the firewall (it's not even activated) so it can't be that. I have found that when I go into the advanced settings, turn off sharing and turn it on again the option comes up in the left pane... asks me to sign in... and then disappears as soon as I select 'done' (the only option available).
It probably doesn't help that I don't know my way around a mac, but pretty soon I'm going to throw it out the window.
The main reason I'm stressing out is that I just activated my sim, and at the END of it the recorded message said I'd have to sync my new phone when I was done, but I'm not going to be able to do it with MY stuff, only his... HELP?!?

How to find out list of users who has logged into webtools

From a database administration and monitoring traffic point of view we want to know who has logged into our web tools web site for a given period. Is there a easy way to have this information. basically user ID , date and time are info we need. (need all users - with or without orders)

The easiest way to accomplish this is by creating a report.
Use the SQL query

Can not log into Infoview with Windows AD credentials

I am using CRS 2008 V1 SP3. I migrated all my AD users from XIR2 to 2008 version recently. I also mapped the AD users correctly and most of my windows AD users are able to log into infoview except some users. I checked those users exist in CMC user list. They also have no problem logging in with their Enterprise password. I even deleted the AD member groups and added again in Windows AD auth in CMC. Also restarted the CMS and the machine itself but NO LUCK. I dont understand why there's problem with only those few users. One of the user recently changed her password..so my another assumption is may be her token is lost...but it should fix when i restarted the machine. Please help!!!

ok that means the primary issue is with the servercie account ort AD. To eliminate the service account in the CMC > auth > windows AD > change the setting from kerberos to NTLM and test client tools again. Fail mean the problem is with the user or AD, success means the problem is with the service account or kerberos.

Logging into Adobe CC with a script?

So, I have a unique problem. I'm an art student, and my university has given me a free copy of Adobe Creative Cloud for a year for use on my personal PC. However, the computers in the lab on campus, automatically log into what I am assuming is a generic university account for Adobe CC when I log into the computer. I asked the IT department if it was possible to log out of CC and into my personal account so that I can sync my workspaces, fonts, colors, files, etc., and they told me it wasn't possible because the Creative Cloud Application Manager is disabled by default. However, they said it's something no one has ever asked about before, and it's not inherently frowned upon, so they created a custom.bat file that will run automatically on log in and told me that it might be possible to create a script that could log out of the school's Adobe CC account and either log into my personal account automatically, or prompt me for it when I log into my username. Does anyone know how I might go about doing this?

Looks like this topic is running on several threads here. I had an issue with this yesterday. I even changed my AOL password, then had to reboot. I finally got in last night, but this afternoon, once again I had problems. I've rebooted 6 times to no avail. I did sign up for an Apple account, but now my credit from AOL is missing. They really need to inform their users if they are having problems.

There can be many reasons why the Login is "up the creek".
Any break in the network at your end whilst logged in will cause an issue.
A sort of discrepancy between what iChat thinks the state should be and what the server thinks.
If they don't agree the server will refuse to accept.
A Crash at the server end which does not log you out properly will also do it.
Any file at any time can be come corrupted.
Luckily with the iChat .plists they are recreated if removed with an iChat Restart.
If it were AIM you can also get your Account Suspended and this will not log you in.
(It tends to happen from Chat rooms where people notify AIM about bad behaviour (as they see it) and you have to apply to get Un-suspended).
Most of the big IM services use multiple servers.
Sometimes these go out of Sync.
In the case of AIM this happens when they remove Old unused Screen Names from people's Buddy List prior to making them available for re-registration. I am not sure if this happens at Google.
You seem to be talking about an account that has worked at Work and having new computer at home.
As I mentioned the Priority thing you have not said that it has coincided with the new computer logging in (this will kick the work Computer out of Google whether you are logged in on the Web Mail page or in iChat)
IN addition to that iChat stays partially logged in for Off Line IMs
This is done in the background by a support app called iChatAgent
If your Computer is ON but ichat is not started people can still send you Messages.
Instead of saving these on the server until you login iChat will start up.
Depending if the home Mac is effecting the Work Login it may be holding sway over your Login.
Using your girlfriend's login may have booted her Off Line where she normally uses the name/login.
The AIM Side can be specifically set to allow Multiple Logins and therefore NOT allow them. If this happens you get a warning and messages to do something about it.
You do not get these in any Jabber or Google Login as the Priority setting is supposed to take care of it.
If the Login works at the Web Mail Login and on one computer then the .plist on the work computer is the most likely issue.
There is a small chance that a Corrupt Buddy Pic (Home Folder/Library/Caches/com.apple.iChat/Pictures) may be the cause.
Set this folder to icon view and also use the Finder's View Menu > Show View Options and select icon view.
This should show all pics as their icon.
Check that all display properly.
At this point I would try a COMBO version update install of the last Update you did over what you have.
This often corrects hard to trace things

Can't Log into J2EE Engine Visual Administrator

I cannot get logged into our J2EE Engine Visual Administrator on our SAP Portal. After I enter my userid and password (which I know are valid) I get a progress bar which progresses to approx 50%, then errors out with the message: 'Error while connecting. Cannot open connection on host: <IP-address> and port: <port>'
I found this document to troubleshoot the problem:

It says the problem is likely that the P4 port is incorrect or the wrong transport layer is selected in my connection string. It suggests using the config tool to find the P4 port and has a diagram showing the port in the local properties. When I go to my config tool, I am missing the Local Properties box. My screen only shows the Global Properties. Is there somewhere else to check the port. I am pretty sure I have the right port because if I try to connect using an incorrect port I get the error message instantly.
The transport layer in my connection string is 'default'.
Can anyone help? Thanks.
Our Visual Administrator version is 6.40 Support Pack 22. The java version is 1.4.2_13.

P4 port is used for connecting to VA. P4 port will be 5<Inst no>04.
Please check if you have this port while connecting to VA. You can check this port in the index page of your portal.
Can you try restarting the portal instance ??
Also you need not enter userID for logging into VA. By default it uses "administrator" user.
You may also check if the administrator user is locked.
Revert if the issue persists.
