Logging out of twitter app. how?

I'm using a z10 loaner at my office. I logged in to the twitter app. Now I want to log out so I can give the phone to someone else without worrying that they'll be tweeting under my name. I can't seem to find a way to do it. Can someone help me out with this?

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
You don't, within the Twitter app, log out. Rather, from the Account Settings screen (Homescreen > swipe down from top > select Settings > Accounts), you delete the Twitter account from the BB integration itself. You do this, btw, for all accounts you may have integrated into the BB.
Good luck!

How do i log out off the app store as it has the wrong email and I can't do my updates as i don't know the password

Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store, tap on the Apple ID, and choose 'Sign Out'.
However, logging out of the iTunes & App Store won't change the Apple ID you need to use to update an app.  It only affects what Apple ID you're using to download a new app.
Apps always have to be updated using the Apple ID that was used to download it originally.  Go to iforgot.apple.com to reset that password.  If you cannot do so, then contact Apple Account Security, or delete the app and redownload it using an Apple ID and Password that you know.

  • I want to log out my twitter and did the thingd thourgh the settings but went back to the app and im still loged in

i want to log out of twitter on my ipad i went thourgh settings and deleted my account but i went to the app and still my account is up

Apps and other purchased media are permently tied to the original ID used to purchase them.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, go to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid to reset it.

  • HT5500 How do you log out of twitter on iphone 5 useing ios6 as you now longer can!!

Can no longer log out of twitter on iphone 5 and ipad useing ios 6,any answer ??

Found this on the web - no guarantees.
On the phone, simply go to settings, then Twitter, and at the allow box, switch to off.
This removes your account details from the Twitter app.
When you go back to the Twitter app, click "don't allow" to remain signed out or "OK" to log back in.
Alternatively you can log back in by going back to your settings and changing the "allow" setting to "On".
Note that there is no "sign out" option on the Twitter app itself.
The old method of deleting your account within the Twitter app is no longer possible.

  • How do I log out of Twitter on iPad

Trying to log out of Twitter on my iPad 3. I am told to delete account. Will this affect my entire Twitter Account?

No, it will simply remove it from the iPad. But what is it you are trying to accomplish, and who told you to delete the account in order to log off?

  • Log out of twitter on mountain lion

As I installed Mountain Lion I expected a better interaction or "app" for twitter than the lame one currently in existence.  As i followed the steps on the Mail, Contacts & Calendar area I logged on in twitter only to find out that it would be notifications, My question, is there any way of logging out of twitter.  Also if i delete the account from that area will it tanslate to twitter or is it just deleting it from my computer?

Deleting the account from "Mail, Contacts & Calendars" seems to be the only way to log out.  If you delete it on your Mac, it won't affect your actual Twitter account.

  • My ipod has logged me out of the game center, so I tried logging back in and it wont let me, it says something about itunes. So I looked online to try and find a solution. I eventually ended up logging out of my App Store and Itunes and now I cant log in

So I have an 5th generation Ipod touch. I was playing games and noticed that one of them started completely over and said to log into the Game Center. I tried to but it wouldn't let me. So I let it go, but then the Game Center app just poped up whenever I was playing a game and said that I needed to go to the itunes store. I did but I didnt know what to do. So I serched online to try and fix it. In the end I logged out of my App store because it wasnt letting me download anything and I also logged out of itunes. And now it wont let me log back in to any of my stuff and none of my ipod information will download to a computer. And it says that theres an error with my accounts. So should I try resetting the ipod or create new accounts or what? Please help me.

  • Logged out of the app store and can't log back in!

    Hi all,
Earlier this evening I logged out of my app store account on my iPhone and now I can't log back in. It says "Could Not Sign In" - "An unknown error has occurred".
I tried logging in with my other two Apple accounts and it still says the same thing! I've made sure the password was correct and I have not enabled any restrictions.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Thanks for your reply, I did a hard reset instead (holding down the on/off button + home button until the Apple icon appeared). I checked the iTunes and app store in settings and my account was signed back in.
So I proceeded to sign out of the app store again and sign in with a different account. Same problem occurred.
So I did a normal restart and tried to sign in again, the problem persists.
I have just done a hard reset and now my account has been signed out with no way of signing back in.
    Help... please...
*Note that everytime I did a restart I closed the app in the 'background' to ensure it starts fresh

  • Logged out of iphone app now cant log back in

Iv done this twice now i log out of the firefox app and cannot log back in. It took me about an hour to solve it the first time i did it as i hadnt saved a copy of my sync key. So this time i saved a copy of my sync key but still cannot log in. It seems like my mac wants me to sync my iphone and my iphone wants me to sync my mac to i just get two sets of numbers to input one from each device but no where to input them.
It seems like a better system is needed!

Just to add to this here are the steps i take to try and sync within firefox
    Go to firefox preferences/sync
    set up firefox sync
i already have an accoun/ connect
then i get the screen add device enter this code which doesnt work as i cant input it at all into my iphone. "If i click i dont have this device with me" i get takend to the sign in screen user name and passoword correct. I enter my last recorded sync key and it says "wrong sync key"
If i then click "show me how i have lost my other device"i get taken to a firefox help page telling to go to manage my account (which i cannot access)
---For some reason after clicking "show me how i have lost my other device" multiple times whilst writing this it has redirected me to a page where it has let me change my sync key. Very odd.

  • Will my accounts be safe if I didn't log out all the apps in my iPhone 4s despite erasing all contents and settings?

I need to be enlighten on this. Please help.

Hi, thanks a lot for the feedback.
What I'm worried about was that I didn't logged out All apps accounts, including fb, twitter, instagram etc., as well as my apple ID account. I was in a hurry erasing all the contents so I thought that it would be a shorter procedures if I use what in the Settings. I was in a hurry to dispose of my Apple 4S.
I just hope the new owner of my 4S will not be able to use all the accounts with personal info

  • Twitter app - How do you delete it?

In an effort to make my phone a little bit faster, the Verizon employee told me to delete all unwanted/unnecessary/unused apps. I forgot to ask him about the Twitter app. I did not download it (as I prefer Facebook over Twitter and never use Twitter).
How do I delete this app? Its only 0.96MB but I dont want it on my phone.

    GhostRider wrote:
Thats pretty dumb! Its MY phone!! I should choose what I want/dont want on it
It wasnt on there when I bought the phone. When the phone was updated, there it was. At least give the option to delete it for petes sake.
Well, you have one thing correct here...it didn't come on the phone.
I've searched my Droid X from one end to the other. I haven't found a Twitter app. I have all of he available updates. Twiitter ain't there. So if it's on yer phone, it was downloaded by someone. I ain't even guessing who might have. The point of my post is that if the Twitter app is indeed on your phone, you should be able to un-install it by going to "Settings", "Applications", "Manage applications", then select the "Downloaded" tab. If it's on your phone, it should be in this list. Select it and you should see an un-install option. Click "uninstall" and you are done. By the way, this should be the way you un-installed the other apps you mentioned.
As for the apps that came pre-installed on the phone such as "Skype", "Blockbuster", and others, no, you can't un-install them. Period. It's not possible. Not gonna happen.
Now, if you wish to climb the highest mountains in the land and proclaim at the top of your lungs how unfair this practice is and how Verizon should allow us to control our phones and we bought and own the phones and Big Red Brotheris infringing on our rights an so on and so on....(whew, long breath)...you have my blessing. I will not infringe or denigrate your right to do so on a "public" forum (which really isn't public at all, but people don't read TSOs, do they?).
But take Wildman's suggestion under advisement, please.

  • Twitter App - how much to use

    Hi
Sorry, new to BB and to smartphones..
The twitter app is shown as free to download, but what is the running cost of using it?  What charges are imposed.  Similarly with the music apps, free to download but how much to use?

Data in BlackBerry terms is the flow of electronic information to and from your device, over the network.
Anyway, so now you know. Twitter uses data. BBM uses data. GPS navigation mapping applications use data to flow the maps to your handheld.
However, SMS is not "data", it is part of the "voice" pipe.
Consider your BlackBerry having TWO inlets for information.
The voice "pipe" channel contains the voice and SMS
The data "pipe" channel contains all over flow of information: email, twitter, BBM, mapping, internet browser, etc.

  • Can't log out of twitter on my iPad.  It doesn't work.  I am able to do it using the website.

The twitter app for iPad doesn't work when I try to logout.  It's so frustrating that I deleted it and use twitter online.

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

  • I have not logged out in years. How can I check to see if I remember my password is correct?

Appologies to all who tried to answer my previous attempts at this question.  I have not logged off in years bc I was affraid I didn't remember my "log out password".  I never wrote it down. I never saved it in key chain.  I have a good idea what it is and want to prove it before I use the log out feature again.  Is there a way to do that?  I have gone into System Preferences > Accounts and tried to change password and was successful. Is that the same as the logout password?

If you are still concerned Raymond, open Keychain Access. It is in your Mac's Utilities folder.
Click the "login" Keychain as in the above screenshot. Then click the lock icon at the upper left. If it is already unlocked, it will lock your Keychain.
Click it again to unlock it. It will then ask for your password:
Type in the password you used in System Preferences and click OK.
If the lock icon unlocks, you just proved your login password is correct and identical to your Keychain password, as it normally is. Then you can stop worrying about this and start worrying about the Mayan Apocalypse in a couple of days.

  • Im having trouble with app store it says Im logged on but when I tru to Download something a different account pops up and I cant Seem to log out from that account how am I supposed to Download or update my Apps if dont have the password?

I tryed resetting my phone but it did'nt work tryed kogging out and log inn aganon but my app store still shoes a different account and cøas a password I dont have.. What shall I do?

If you are being prompted for the password for a different Apple ID when you update apps, it's because you have one or more apps on your phone that was purchased with that ID.  Apps and their updates are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.  The only way to stop this prompt is to delete the app(s) that were purchased with this ID from your phone.
