Logic 7.2 update , remote controlling logic's tempo doesn't work anymore ??

hi to all ,
i use a tempo slider controlled by program changes to control logic's tempo in my live setup . For this to work I found one has to delete all values from the tempo list editor to avoid sync error messages , and this cannot be done with the 7.2 update .
Doe's anyone know of what has happened to logic for this to change , is there any new preferences i need to turn off , doe's anybody use logic in a similar way and has a work around ?
this is show stopper for the way i use logic , Logic 7.1 for me forever ??

If all else fails, use a previous version of Logic for your live gigs. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
(BTW, what about 7.2 is more advantageous than the version of Logic you used to use?)
