Logic bounces unwanted audio when exporting audio to movie

Hey all,
So as the title says, Logic seems to be bouncing a few tracks that i've now completely deleted from the Logic project. I even removed them from the bin.
Every time I try to export audio to movie these audio tracks come up in the exported .mov. I have no clue why this is happening. Any thoughts?

Hi
Are these audio tracks that were/are embedded in the movie?
When bouncing to a (new) movie, these audio tracks are automatically included unless you opt out (de-select them).

  • Sound drop out when exporting to Quicktime movie.

One track of three sound tracks drops out after a few seconds then reappears a few seconds later when exporting to QT Movie. The project functions perfectly when printing to video. Am using QT 7.1.3 FCE HD 3

    Hi(Bonjour)!
Try to make an "audio-mixdown" of your final sequence
    in timeline.

Thanks for the info. I managed to overcome the problem initially by copying onto miniDV then re-capturing and exporting the result., but Mix Down is much nicer.
However, prior to upgrading to FCE-HD, I am fairly certain I have made more complex projects with no problems. Now quite frequently I get a message suggesting I reduce the number of RT tracks, or increase the speed of my computer. Is there something in FCE HD that requires these modifications, or have I a rogue project.
Does anyone know what is the actual difference between High Medium & Low qualities with Audio & Video?

  • Why the color mismatch when exported key to mov?

Keynote colors are rich and bright, but get all dull when exported to a mov.
Anyone know why this happens, or better yet have a solution?

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply.  No, I haven't converted any color images from RGB to CYMK.  The original graphic file was made as RGB.  The colored box in PM7 is set to the Color Options of:
    Type: Spot
    Model: RGB
    (R 255, G 0, B 0)
As said, in PM7 the two red objects look identical in colour tinting etc on the screen, and you can't tell the difference.  But when the doc is converted to PDF the difference is obvious.
After posting to this forum last night (Australian time), I wondered if it had something to do with dot resolution.  The graphic file is 300 dpi, whereas the red PM box is filled with color that may be at a much lower DPI, causing a dullness in the color.  I assume the PM 7 default for this can't be altered. Maybe there is a setting in Distiller that could handle this, so that the colors are equalised.
The solution I'm currently using is to remove the box (or oblong) containing PM's RGB Red, then make another graphic file which is RGB Red (either at 300 dpi or 200 dpi, either TIFF or JPG, it doesn't matter), of the same page size as the PM doc, then place it onto the page and send it to the back so that everything else sits on top of it.  When converted to PDF you now can't tell the difference between the RGB Red in both graphics.
I'm happy with the result, but it's a workaround.

  • When exporting/rendering a .mov from both PP and AE the .mov thumbnail is not right

    Hello,
I have recently upgraded to OSX mavericks and updated my AE and PP CS6. When I export/render a movie the videos seem fine but the thumbnails are not a screenshot of the video - which is how I would like it (how it used to be). Instead it is of the quicktime logo just like this - http://embryology.med.unsw.edu.au/embryology/images/8/8c/Quicktime-icon.jpg. Please can anyone tell me how to fix this problem.
    Thank you in advance,
    Taro

    additional information -
I also noticed that rendering from final cut also creates the wrong thumbnails (used to be a screenshot as explained previously)
Exporting from quicktime pro seems fine (thumbnails have screenshot)

  • Final cut pro problem when exporting with quicktime movie

    Hello!
I must have som help beacuse my musicmovie must be finsihed untill today. I have a movie their i had used filters like colour correction and interlace. When i export with USING QUICKTIME CONVERSION and have

its not a problem the movie works fine all the way.
But when i export with QUICKTIME MOVIE it dosent work. Some clips are frozen and some are beeing misscoloured. None of them have interlace. Its the same clips that dosent work everytime i had export with QM. I have tried to replace these clips but the same thing is happening. I dont understand why i cant use quicktime movie but it works with quicktime conversion.
If you have an e-mail i can send you just the part where this happening.
    Please help me!
    Thanks Gabriel

I am also expriencing the same error. Tried every solution listed so far:
    1. Switch off background rendering. Trash render files. Don't render. Export.
    2. copying the project within Final Cut Pro into another project
    3. remove the following folder: Library > Application Support > ProApps > MIO > RADPlugins > XDCAMFormat.RADPlug
Nothing worked. I try to export to Vimeo, YouTube, and master. All error right at 9%
    What's going on?

  • Unwanted letterbox when exporting

I am editing a short film in four different segments on four computers. Three of them export in wide screen and one of them exports in letterbox. The film is all the same quality, what do I do to get rid of the black bars?

Check item properties for the sequence that's letterboxed. Most likely it's 4:3. Change the setup to anamorphic. Then copy and paste the content from the bad sequence to to the good. The clips will be distorted but use the remove attributes function to reset the distortion value.

  • File sizes increase steadily when exporting to Quicktime movies

I have a series of short (90 seconds or so) little segments in a sequence that are very similar to each other that I've just created one after another in the timeline. There are about 50 of these. They are each made up of still frames (a .PSD Photoshop graphic), overlayed text (Premiere text) and audio - no video. As I create each little segment, I'm exporting them to a Quicktime movie (H.264, 50% compression) and the Range set to Work Area Bar to control what gets exported. Although the resulting Quicktime movies play just fine, the problem is that as I get further and further down the timeline creating these movies the resulting Quicktime movie files get larger and larger. The first movie is around 12MB, the second around 16MB, the third around 21MB, and so on until the 50th one is over 400MB. Again, the movies play just fine, but there's no reason I can see that the 50th one is so gigantic (over 400MB in size) compared to the first one (at around 12MB).
This is a Windows XP Pro machine with 4GB RAM using Premiere Pro CS3 3.2.0.

    Silly question:
Are you sliding the Work Area Bar down the timeline to cover the new segments, or are you just extending it?

  • Error 43 when exporting to a mov format

I added music (mp3) to a photo presentation (.mov). I could watch the combined show in Quicktime Player. However, when I tried to export the final output as a .mov file, I kept getting an Error 43 (missing file). I've uninstalled and reinstalled my Quicktime Pro but I'm still having the same problem.

    Hi,
As you correctly noticed the Error 43 is arguing due a non found file. I would suggest you to place a copy of the resources used in the new clip under the same folder (music and presentation) and then do a Save as from QT Pro file menu. That should create a new file with both resources correctly linked.
    Kind Regards,
    Javier

  • Black frame in embedded quicktime movies in Keynote when exporting to quicktime movie

I've included some quicktime movies made in Photoshop in my Keynote presentation. When viewing the Keynote presentation from within keynote, the movie play perfectly. However when I export the presentation to a Quicktime move, the first or last frame of the embedded movie is black creating a flicker effect on play.
The quicktime movies have been embedded as loopable animations using the animation build in function 'Start movie' (after transition with 0 delay).
Is there a setting that will prevent the black frame on export or is this a bug?

Trim out the frames in a video editing application, Quicktime, iMovie

  • Good video, poor still picture when export to QuickTime Movie

I exported my project from Final Cut Pro. Had video and still images. When viewing expoprted video in QuickTime Movie, the video looks good but the still images look distorted (pixulated). The images were ~2.0 MB each. If I make the viewer window for QuickTime Movie small, then images look good. I imported the images from IPhoto and if I open a big windom for viewing the images in IPhoto, they look great, just not in my finished video. Please help. Thanks

Thank you so much for replying.

  • Windows error when exporting sequence to movie

I have a project (Adobe Premiere CS3 - Matrox RT.X2 LE card - Windows XP SP3) with several sequences. I have exported to movie almost all the sequences without problems. But there´s one sequence that when I try to export, when rendering (compiling process), suddenly pop´s up a Windows error saying the program encoutered a problem and will be shut down.
I cannot figure out why is this happening. Any help?

This ARTICLE might help you gather some "clues," as to what is happening, when PrPro shuts down.
However, I feel that Harm has the answer with the Matrox card.

  • Why do I get repeating frames when exporting to QT MOV?

I have a Canon 7D and I'm shooting HD video files in 24p.  I can import directly to the time
line in PE 7, but sometimes, when I export to a QT MOV file, the 3rd and 4th frame are exactly the same.
Original clips are fine, so it's something in the way PE 7 exports.
Strangely, I can have three clips on the time line, and two of the three will export fine, but one will show the duplicate frames!
I'm using the project setting of 1080i and timebase is 29.97 even though the camera is shooting at 23.97.  Has anyone heard of this problem, and more importantly how to fix?
    Thank you
    Steve

The Project Preset should match all aspects of your source footage. Having a disparity of 29.97 vs 23.97 will be problematic. Now, I am not sure what the options are for 24p footage in PrE 8.
Also, this ARTICLE links to many resources for DSLR footage and video editing.

  • Font changes when exporting as Quicktime movie

Recently my the font in all my titles has been acting up when after I export to a Quicktime movie. The font that I chose will appear for a few seconds, then it will switch to some default Times New Roman or whatever font for no reason. I'm working with HDV footage. The sequence settings and project settings are all the same and when I export I just use current settings. Even odder is I've been working with this project for months (I did recently reinstall the OS and FC studio, but I'm pretty sure all settings are the same. Any ideas?

I've had the same problem, my font kept on blowing up when ever I exported. I found it happened whenever I had DVD Studio Pro open at the same time. As long as I exported with the ap closed it would be fine. Not sure if it's the same issue.

  • Error -108 when exporting a quicktime movie

I can not export a project because every time FCP X interrupt the process with a -108 error. Why apple does not give us a clue what the error could be? anyone knows what´s happening? I trashed the render files and does not work

You are talking about "export media" not share ? I have had this error when trying to use share but never when using export media. Delete preferences is a good start. http://www.digitalrebellion.com/prefman/

  • Want to keep my chapter markers when exporting to a .mov

I'm (very) inexperienced with video editing in general but have been finding my way with premiere pro. I'm at the stage where I am ready to export. I want to create a .mov file and leave in all the chapter markers I have already set.
After the last export there seems to be some recognition that the chapters are there however they all seem to be set at the 00:00:00 mark (all 20+ of them)
It's 60 minutes of footage from a Roller Derby bout. I am exporting with these setting 1080i, 29.97fps, progressive, quality 90, h.264, uncompressed sound. (any advice on changing these settings for optimal performance for sports footage with a smaller file size would also be greatly appreciated)
Chapter markers are "encore chapter markers" regular markers don't seem to work either.
    Thanks!

Not sure as I've never tried it and don't have anythng BT except my Android phone.
Once the system boots and get connected with the BT keyboard & mouse I don't see why not.
