Logic crashing, can't fix...SOS
When I start Logic it hangs and I get 'not responding'. If I leave it eventually it will right itself but will give the message "midi services not available".
I have tried deleting plists and repaired permissions. This was happening before the upgrade but now seems worse. Two things that seem to coincide with this problem: the addition of an Apogee Gio and also installation of the Arturia V collection. Help!

Note: I actually think it could be something installed by Arturia thats causing your issue.. as you are correct, they have a bit of a rep for causing problem under certain situations but.. Im just making sure it's nothing else obvious first....
The Gio appears to be ok and is fully Yosemite compatible... according to Apogee....

GAMING APP causing crash can't fix
Hey guys. I have a GTX 770 Twin 4g OC and not too long ago I thought I'd install the gaming app and have a look.. Now when I put it on Gaming my comp crashed.. rEbooted put it back on normal crash. ever since then my comp will randomly crash with the error 124.. I don't know what happen but its getting annoying.. Is there any fixes for this?

It overclocks and overclocking can always go wrong or cause problems. Disable it or better >>Clear CMOS<< and don't enable oc genie again. Retry.

Flash Player always crashing--can't fix it
Just looking for some guidance. I can't downgrade to FlashPlayer 10.3 (all I get after download is a blank white window when I try to open it). Uninstalling and reinstalling the latest FlashPlayer doesn't work. FlashPlayer works temporarily if the computer is newly booted up, but then will inevitably crash, requiring another reboot to have it continue working. IE works fine, as in I can watch a youtube video on IE that I currently can't in Firefox due to said crashing FlashPlayer. I'm running Norton antivirus and I'm not sure if that is affecting anything. ANY help would be appreciated--even info as to who else I should contact would be great. I've been searching online and working on this problem for over 10 hours to no avail. Thank you.
hello, maybe it's an issue with the protected mode in the flash plugin - you could try if [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071#TemporaryWorkaround disabling protected mode] makes a difference.
if you're just watching videos on youtube you could also make sure that you're participating in the html5 test at youtube.com/html5 - it will allow for firefox to play at least part of the videos natively without having to make use of the flash plugin. -
It seems to take a long time for the most pages to load

If I try to get out of the freeze it crashes
I when this happens I always get "Firefox is not responding"

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

help in i need the logic board fixed for less than $200
I've had the logic board in my MBP 3,1 replaced twice, both covered by AppleCare. The first one was a failure which was video related, but they swore it wasn't the NVidia failure. That was almost a year ago at the end of December 2009.
The most recent logic board replacement was due to a repair tech error. I had my LCD replaced because of backlight issues and the Apple Care was within 4-5 weeks of expiring (at the end of July/early August 2010). The tech accidentally replaced the 1920x1200 LCD with a 1680x1050 one, and then they had to order the correct one as a replacement, so I had to use it with the wrong LCD. When the correct one came in, the inverter on the logic board had adjusted itself to the lower power of the 1680x1050 LCD and wouldn't power the higher res LCD properly, so they had to replace the logic board again to get it working right. ranted, that last one would have been an Apple expense had it not still been under Apple Care, since it was their error that caused the problem.
Having stated that, if your MBP only has a 1680x1050 display (or lower) you might be able to get a working logic board from someone who had the same issue as I did in August. Of course, according to the documentation I got from Apple on my repairs, the cost of the replacement logic board for my system was about $1200, so it is a bit above the $200 limit you are setting, and based on the cost I was informed, I doubt you will find a working one in your price range... -

I face same problem, after creating Adobe ID and after installing Creative Cloud app, the installed Ps and Lr can't be launched... Lr at all, no action, but Ps works for a few seconds. I could achieve "system info" from help menu as follows:

I have G4 Ibook with the following specifications: serial number 4H5290VTS87 and upgraded to MacOSX TIGER. My Safari browser is version 4.1.3. Started to crash I do not know why. So far I got a new browser "TenFourFox" and is working great with no crashing at all but I would like to get back to Safari if I can because run everything faster and smoother.
I have tried the disk utility application to find out if my system needed to be repair something inside and is working good nothing needed to be repair, I even put the installation disk to run disk utility and it show me all is working fine but it did make the computer run faster for sure except safari browser keeps crashing so I quit safari and decided to find different browser until I find through you what I can do to fix it, if I can not fix it then I will continue with the new browser.
My impression so far is the operation system can not be upgraded more therefore this version of safari can not be upgrade either. Please let me know.

that would run OK in OS X Tiger 10.4.11 as well as OS X Leopard 10.5.8;
however this one does not directly support Flash plugins, so web content
relying on that function will not work. Otherwise, if you get the version for
your series of processor (PowerPC G4 shows two versions in download)
that can do well enough for most casual browsing w/ some security.

About the Safari 4.x browser, crash. Had you repaired disk permisssions
in the system by use of Disk Utility? I'd safe-boot startup first, repair disk
permissions, then restart to see if it helps. You may also be able to get
a replacement download of the same old Safari browser from Support
online, should there be a need to, in the course of troubleshooting it.

You can use Safari to assign another browser to be system default, so
a different one will launch (see Safari prefs) instead of older Safari. I
have SeaMonkey for PPC (works in OS X 10.5) set as default.

I have the top of the range MacBook Pro (but not the latest one with the Retina display). Yet every time I open iPhoto it grinds to a halt with iPhoto crashing 1 out of every 4 times I open it. Is this normal? And if not how can I fix it? I have 55k photo's.
No it's not normal. What version of iPhoto? Post the first 50 lines only of the crash report

How can I fix repetitive 'fontd' crashes after recovery from time machine backup?
After recovery from time machine backup (Disk Utility told me to reformat my internal hard drive) i got annoying repetitive prompts from crashing 'fontd'. How can I fix it? Anyone suffering from the same disease?
Back up all data.
Launch the Font Book application and validate all fonts. You must select the fonts in order to validate them. See the built-in help and this support article for instructions. If Font Book finds any issues, resolve them, then boot in safe mode to rebuild the font caches. Boot again as usual and test.
Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions. -

First time posted; Long time browser..
Alright So I have Logic Pro with various AU instruments etc
Its been going great for some time (months) and last two days Ive hit a bump.
We tracked it down to being nexus; (au instrument) however even disabled or removing the .component makes logic crash & Freeze.
At first it would freeze and crash; reopening and re enabling the plugin would allow it to work again for days without a issue. Now with The Plugin active or non active it plays 5 seconds and severe crash
Im unsure what to do.
Can someone shed some light on my situation?

Do I completely remove all AU stuff and go all from scratch? I dont mind doing so if it works again.. Alot of au's to install..
