Logic is only sending MIDI signals when I try to quit the program

I'm using an M-Audio Uno to transmit MIDI data from Logic 9 to a drum machine (TR-808 clone) but only when I start to quit the program and am asked if I want to save the project (and have a loop sending data to the machine playing while trying to quit), will I finally get data transmission. The whole setup worked fine several months ago, but I hadn't been using the drum machine slaved to Logic for some time, and now I'm getting this odd problem. Any ideas?

Ah.. then I suspect you just need to go to Logic's prefs/Audio and check CoreAudio...
It has been unchecked somehow...

Thank you for responding. Nothing actually worked! After reading the posts online, I called Apple. They indicated they have seen problems with some software after their upgrades. The technician was able to fix the problem on my computer remotely, but I have no clue what he did! But, it was definitely related to their recent upgrade to my computer.

Did You ever use - iPhoto ?
Did You may be direct iPhoto to a different Photo Library
As iMovie tries to find the appropriate photo library - it can get lost if iPhoto direct it into a Library on a not connected external hard disk or to a strange location - And iMovie HANGS.
Do - When no other program is running that might interfere
• Start iPhoto - BUT NOW KEEP alt-key (option key) DOWN during the full Start-Up process
• Now iPhoto let's You select Photo Library
• Select the one in Your Account / Home folder / Pictures ! !
• Then iPhoto should start up OK
• Now Quit iPhoto
• START iMovie
Does it still hangs - then I would suspect - iMovie Pref. file
If it Run's OK - Then HURRAY !

I found the file but when I added it to the list for the Data Execution Program to ignore , I received a message that the Program.x86/itunes file must have the DEP on in order to run. Anyone else having this problem ?

The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

Problem solved. Copied latest file of iTunes Library.itl from Previous iTunes Libraries and replaced it with the original in Music - iTunes-folder.

I have Lightroom 5 installed on my MacBook Air but when I try to open the program I receive the message "An error occurred when attempting to change modules". I uninstalled, emptied trash and re-installed but I continue to get the same message.

I have Lightroom 5 installed on my iMac which I downloaded (uploaded?) to my MacBook Air (via wi-fi) but unlike the iMac, I'm unable to use the program on the MacBook Air. When I open the program on the iMac and click 'file', (as people using the program would know) there are 21 options - import pics, export, etc, etc - however, in the version on the MacBook Air, opening 'file' gives me four options - New Catalogue, Open Catalogue, Page Setup and Printer - and with that comes the pop-up message "An error occurred when attempting to change modules". A forum thread from 3 years ago talking about LR 1.x which had this problem seems to need permissions fixed or new folders created with the corrected permissions. You might try doing a repair permissions for your user and/or run LR as an administrator user. I am a PC person so cannot tell you exactly how to do that.

The D810 requires Camera Raw 8.6 or later - the latest version that is compatible with Photoshop Elements 12 is Camera Raw 8.5 as far as I can see.
You need to either buy a new version of Photoshop Elements or use the free Adobe DNG converter.

It sounds like you might be dealing with an upgrade situation where it is asking you to select the previous 'qualifying' version that you upgraded from. If that's the case then you will need to find the serial number for that older version as well.

Adobe premiere CC 2014 keeps on crashing when I try to quit the app

Since I upgraded to CC 2014, Premiere (8.0.1) keeps on crashing every time I try to quit. I'm on a Mac Pro 3.33Ghz 6 core Intel XEON, 24GB RAM, NVIDIA QUADRO 4000 UP TO DATE GRAPHICS DRIVE (334.01.02f02). I have OS X Defalut Graphics Drive selected.

try resetting your tools. I had a similar issue awhile back and that seamed to fix it, so worth a shot.
