Logic Pro X crashes every time I try to add to loop library???

I have been using logic pro x for over a year now and have recently started creating my own apple loops. I am in the process of adding a big library of loops I have created to the loop library. Logic crashes every second time I try to add to loop library. For instance, I will open logic, open one of my aiff files, right click the region and select add to loop library. The first one will go through fine. Then I will proceed to delete the region, open the next aiff file, right click the region and select "add to loop library". As soon as I do this the program crashes without fail. Then I have to open logic again, select open "auto saved" and go through this cycle every time.
PLEASE HELP!!!

I had problems getting it to accept .dv files from imovie. I batch converted all of them with MPEG Streamclip to .mov files. That helped.

Well, this actually got me somewhere! Thanks so much, I can limp along now.
I'm an audio guy by trade, so I had a ton of plugins installed. Apparently, FCPx is just a poorly designed and inept at handling audio components. All of my plugins are updated and 64-bit compliant, but apparently FCPx just can't handle audio components. They all work fine in ProTools and Logic Pro X, but cause Final Cut Pro X to crash instantly. They have to be removed from the Audio Components folder altogether for FCPx to run. Even the brand new Waves bundles I just bought.
It's frustrating that the only thing you can use in the plugin section are Apple's built-in utilities, but I can make do for now until I learn a replacement for FCPx.

My itunes u crashes every time i try to switch to the library. It automatically opens one course everytime i go in, but when i try to flick back to the library page it crashes. This has only been since i upgraded my ipad mini to the new operating system. If i uninstall the app and reinstall will i lose my entire library of courses?

Mine too. In fact, after 4 years my iMac is acting very strange. It is acting like a virus on a PC. Everything I read says that is not possible. Wish I knew what to do.

Adobe Acrobat Pro XI crashes every time I try to open it on Mac OSX 10.9.3

I recently downloaded the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and installed it on my Mac running OSX 10.9.3
Every time I try to open the application, it tries to open the application and then gives me an error of "Acrobat quit unexpectedly" with a long trail of code.
I do not know what to do to get this application working properly.

Doing repair disc permissions, normally should not create problems, reason being this is Apple's own built-in utility.
I am guessing there might have been permission issues already on your computer and repair disk permission tried to resolve that problem. But if the problem is severe these things may happen.
I would suggest you first you may try it again if that didn't resolve you should contact Apple support. They may help to repair the permissions.

Flash Cs4 crashes every time I try to add an image.

Every time I try paste an image from anywhere in the flash file (all scenes) it crashes. I also cannot export to .swf.
I tried saving the file with different names in different locations and did not work.
I also have no corrupt font (tried looking for them after I read it in a forum)
I really need a solution or find where the problem is to be able to continue what ive been working on.
Any ideas?

Premiere Pro CS4 Crashes every time I try to open it

Every time I open premiere pro wheather its a HD project or SD project, or even one that I worked on before in it, it decides that it needs to crash, how can I fix this?

As Curt says, it is below the minimum. Those minimum specs. are to allow one to install the program, and are not even a guarantee that the program will run, let alone edit. [If Adobe asked me, I'd set realistic "min. specs." so that one could at least edit simple SD Projects.]
Now, when it worked once upon a time, but not now, Curt is correct - something has changed. Were I troubleshooting, the first thing that I would check would be the I/O sub-system, i.e. the HDD's. It is likely that you have one HDD, and that it has filled up over time. It is likely that it is now too full to allow PrPro to even start up. Were I doing the investigations, the first thing that I'd look at is the defragmented free space on the HDD. For PrPro, my minimum would be ~ 100GB, AFTER the Page File (statically managed and set at boo-up) has been written. The listed min. is probably around 30GB, but that allows no breathing room. If your Page File (Windows Virtual Memory) is set to be dynamically managed by Windows, then it is what is likely filling to overflowing and shutting things down.
Personally, I'd be looking into a new computer, but if you are doing SD only, and would like to troubleshoot things, to try and get back to using PrPro, as before, take a look at this ARTICLE, to get an idea of all the info that will be needed here.
After you look into my speculation on HDD space, and satisfy that requirement, take a look at this ARTICLE, on getting the most possible out of your computer, especially for an editing session.
If you do decide to invest in a more robust computer, please see Harm Millaard's great articles in the Hardware sub-forum. He discusses, in great detail, every aspect of a computer for video editing. They are better than one would ever get from talking to a sales rep at Dell, HP, Gateway, et al.

Logic Pro 8 crashes every time I press "record." What could be causing this?

I have Logic Pro 8 and opened it today for the first time after updating to Snow Leopard. Logic opens just fine, but if I try to record an audio track it crashes almost immediately (I was just using the built-in microphone, nothing external). It doesn't crash if I record to a midi track. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? I went and updated to 8.0.2 and it still did the same thing. This never happened before. I'm wondering if it's related to using Snow Leopard?

All your Creations should be fine...
But just to be Safe, back them up to an External HD and save them as PROJECTS with ALL ASSETS...
Just make sure to have the LP 8 Serial Number handy for when and if, you are asked for it during the Install...
Also, after the Install, don't forget to Run Software Update to get the Latest version of LP 8...

PREMIERE PRO CS4 CRASHES every time I try to export to media....

Import a file in whatever format (MPEG 2, MPEG 4, AVI, etc.), I add effects (or leave the file untouched) and then try to export it to MEDIA...Then Premiere Pro CS4 crashes giving me this error:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.

After pressing "continue" it brings another message:
Sorry, a serious error has ocurred that requires Adobe Premiere Pro to shut down. We wil attempt to save your current project.
I press OK and the Crash Report dialog box appears....
I installed Premiere Suite 3 weeks ago and I have never used this software before....Premiere has never allowed me to export any file...
My Lap Top has Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 with NVidia GT 130 1 GB video card, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB of HD and 1920 x 1080 P display...
Any advice? or somebody who has had the same problem?

DVD Studio Pro 4 crashes every time I try to import

Everything has been working smoothly for many, many video projects until last night:
-finish the edit in FCP7
-send to Compressor
-convert to .ac3 audio and .m2v video files in Best DVD 90 min option
-open DVDSP4 project
-import ,m2v video file as asset is no problem
-as soon as I click on the .ac3 audio file in the import window, DVDSP crashes with a massive error message.
I redid the workflow using little changes like different FCP project sequence to send to Compressor, different DVDSP project, different folder in Finder, and even tried Best DVD 120 min setting in Compressor... all have same result of an instant DVDSP crash when I try to import the .ac3 audio file.
Any thoughts?

After a cup of coffee this morning I thought of the obvious: the audio in FCP was corrupt for some reason so I made an AIFF version of the audio, replaced the old audio, and then sent to Compressor. Everything has worked fine and I have imported into DVDSP with no problem.

Logic Pro 8 crashes every time preferences change is attempted

Hi I hope someone can help.
I recently installed Logic Studio on my Macbook Pro 2.4 (4Gb) and upon launch, found that the arrange window launched too big for the MBP's 15" screen. I thought this was very strange and tried to look at the display preferences - which suddenly caused the system to freeze and the quits.
I've tried deleting different preference files and repair permissions but nothing has helped. I can't access anything in the preferences tab or the Settings tab - and the arrange window still insists on launching too big. Its completely unusable as I can't change any audio preferences.
Any ideas?
I also have Pro Tools LE 6.4.2 cs2 installed - which works fine other than the core audio driver. (this is asecond problem I'm trying to solve). As you might be able to tell, I'm having a lot of fun - would welcome any suggestions!

Thanks but Logic still crashes if I attempt to change the preferences or settings.
The arrange window seems to be loading ok if I choose a blank arrangement but still loads too large if I choose any other template. Is this normal or also another fault I'm experiencing?
I can live with having to resize the arrange window but not being able to change preferences?.... Any help appreciated!

Also it does not matter what I am trying to update, the operating system, and application, each caused the same crash. This mac book is less than a month old.

That is the highest you will be able to go with 3g. You need 3gs or 4 to go any higher (multi processors and more memory needed). Version 4.2.1 marks the end of your updates for that device.

Why is Logic 10.0.5 crashing every time I try to load the Sausage Fattner plugin by Dada Life? It was working perfectly before the 10.0.5 update. Is anyone else having these problems?? Plugins don't get anymore basic (and useful) than the Sausage Fattner....
