Hey Community,
i want to install a wave-plugin (Waves J37 Tape Saturation). I am using Mac OS Mavericks and i cant find the 'Waves AU Reg Utility' or the 'waves' folder to install the wav-plugin. I heard, the wave folder is in user/Application but there is no folder in it - it is completely empty... I want to use this Plugin in Logic 9.
Can somebody help me to get it work?Yes it will because they will guide and assist you.. That is what support is for.....

I can confirm that the Waves folder and the Waves AU Reg Utility.. is in the exact same place in Mavericks as it was in every previous OS X version.... and the Waves Installer tells you exactly where it is and what to do... -
My Logic can't find the plug-in
I installed Ezdrummer and I can find it in the library/audio/plug-ins/components but when I go to logic, it can't find it. I also tried to check my audio units manager in logic and reset & rescan selection but nothing. What can I do? Ezdrummer is also in the VST folder. Should I buy a VST to Au adapter and try that?

I downloaded the most recent version from GForce's site. The problem is that the Imposcar is not appearing in the AU Manager. It's being installed in the Audion- Plugins-Components folder on my HD and I've removed it then reinstalled it several times with no results. I even contacted GForce and the tech I've emailed is puzzled by my problem.
I can use the standalone version with no problem, but I would like to use the Imposcar in Logic. -
In CS3 i cant find my plug ins folder
I downloaded the camera raw 4.1 update and per the instructions your supposed to drop the plug in at Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS3/File Formats .
I followed that path but there is no folder titled "plug-ins" inside of the Adobe folder, im on a mac, i followed this path both through the Finder and the hard drive icon, any suggestions?c

Hi, I'm having problems, i just installed Logic X on my Macbook Pro after working off of 9.5 for a long time, it is kind of different and confusing, Massive doesn't show up in options when i try to skim down to AU Instruments when loading a software track and says it's unavailable in tracks from older projects from Logic 9.5 with Massive already in them, it tells me it' unavailable as part of the project and that i should install it,..But i have already. I have Massive, FM8, Albino & Absynth already installed on my laptop as well, but none show up when i try to load a track from AU Instruments at the bottom in track loading options. i tried bringing up massive from its own app hoping to somehow link the two or maybe the massive plug in would pick up the logic frequency when i play the piano roll kind of like when you bring up Reason or Ableton it automatically lins the two, but nothing, i don't understand what the issue is and Massive is my number one plug in tool for making the body of my projects Leads & Bass and most other synth needs i have for my projects, so it is a real crippling setback interfering with my production in a "Massive" way!:) Please can some one help me out, it is really pulling a raincloud over my head right now that is for sure!

LPX only supports 64bit Audio Unit plugins. Make sure that you are not running 32bit versions. Most 3rd party plugs are now available in 64bit mode, for those that are not, you could use Vienna Ensemble Pro to host them, or get 32Lives to 'wrap' them
There is also the possibility that some are not supported in Yosemite (yet)

Just installed a new expansion pack (nexus) on to my HD.
All went well, yet when I look for it in GB's instrument panel I do find it but when I click on the little pointer to access it I get the following "Nexus content not found, please locate the file "OTestTone.nxs".
I also cannot find the application anywhere on my HD through SEARCH.
If it doesn't pan out and I need to remove Nexus from the instrument Panel (with no Nexus Component in sight) how could I possibly do it?

Cant find "ambience"third party plug in inside logic x
I downloaded the ambience reverb third party plug in and am having trouble getting it into logic. what are the steps to making this happen? I cant find it in the Audio units manager as well. A step by step instruction would be much appreciated please...
Btw.. though that is a nice simple free reverb plugin.. you will find the free ones included with LPX far better imho.. especially Space Designer..... Try some of it's Warped Effects presets.. to see just how flexible and 'different' it can get..... and it works with all tracks.. not just Stereo ones...

Can I plug Halion 2 into Logic Pro or Logic Express? Or another VST player?
I cant find out how....Logic unfortunately does not support any VST's by themselves. Rather they support AU's (Audio Units). So you cannot plug Halion 2 into Logic easily.
However, I have heard that you can install an AU called Plogue Bidule that allows you to run VST's. It acts as a sort of middle man so that you open the AU that opens the VST. I don't know too much about it, but it appears that they have some content on their website to look at if you are interested.

Got a new ipod touch today. Redeemed £15 card. Download itunes to desktop and created an apple ID. plugged my ipod into PC. tried to download a free app twice through itunes . it "downloads" taking 10 minutes but i cant find it. its not in my PC or my ipod. what is the problem?. please advise.
i tried the app updates in the ipod but its not there. i was downloading the app through my pc itunes instead of the ipod itself because the app store in the device cant find the app i want but i can using my desktop so thats why im doing it that way.

I'm on osx 10.7.2 and once I click the soundtrack pro icon I get an error message. I had problems with logic pro & my digi002r soundcard midi drivers but now is fixed (using a midi adapter).

hi guys i have an ipad 1 and when i plug it in to my macbook pro picasa opens up and show its name but when i open itunes i cant find the name, ive been working my head out to solve the problem please help me:(
Pay no attention to iinami, the amount of replies to people saying their handsets must have been jailbroken everytime iTunes throws out an error is tremendous. (Clearly you don't need to have any real knowledge to get to level 3 on these forums, let's hope apple's geniuses know a lot more than some of their customers.)

This error occurs when the device unexpectedly loses its USB connection with iTunes. This can occur if the device is manually disconnected during the restore process. This issue can be resolved by performing USB troubleshooting, using a different USB dock-connector cable, trying another USB port, restoring on another computer, or by eliminating conflicts from third-party security software. -
cant find the right forum for this but as i am having problems booting my macbook pro, keep having to reser pram etc and now wont boot at all.....
aill this theoretically work?
a. Restore entire macpro hard drive from time machine to a time over a year ago before problems started
b. Restore more recent individual files such as logic projects individually from same time machine backup
c. install any programs manually again only couple of vsts
please answer direct question as i have tried everything else and nonhardware problems just will no longer boot after months of reseting each time

Any problems with Waves plug ins with Logic 8?
Checking to see if anyone has used Waves plug in with Logic 8 yet and had any trouble.
Only the same as in LP7. Maxx Bass and a couple of others fail the validation but still work.
