Logical column not diplaying the correct results
Hi,
I am trying to display the %iBOTS failed and in my situation all have failed so i should get a value of 100%, but i am getting a value of 1 always even if i change the *100 to *600 menas it is not multiplying, below i is the formula used:

It did not help, i believe as the aggregation method is count is not able to do the multiplication, i i remove the count it is doing the multiplication with the actual instance number, why is it not able to do a divide and multiply if count is applied, what is thw workaround.

TABLE(CAST()) function not returning the correct results in few scenarios.
I am using TABLE(CAST()) operation in PL/SQL and it is returning me no data.
Here is what I have done:
1. Created Record type

Following is the simplified form of my procedure.

I am calling get_target_weights from my java code and passing p_in_template_target with 10140 records.
Scenario 1: If target_pct in the last record is 0, p_out_count returned from the procedure is 0.
Scenario 2: If target_pct in the last record is any other value(say 0.01), p_out_count returned from the procedure is 10140.
Please help me understand why the Table(Cast()) is not returning the correct results in Scenario 1. Also adding or deleting any record from the test data returns the correct results (i.e. if keep target_pct in the last record as 0 but add or delete any record).
Let me know how can I attach the test data I am using to help you debugging as I don’t see any Attach file button on Post Message screen on the forum.I am not able to reproduce this problem with a small data set. I can only reproduce with the data having 10140 records.
I am not sure if this is the memory issue as adding a new record also solves the problem.
This should not be the error because of wrong way of filling the records in java as for testing purpose I just saved the records which I am sending from java in a table. I updated the stored procedure as well to read the data from the table and then perform TABLE(CAST()) operation. I am still getting 0 as the output for scenario 1 mentioned in my last mail.

Date difference is not showing the correct result for date interval
Hi Expert,
I've created two formula variable one for PO date and another for GR date
while i am taking the date difference of GR and PO date for single PO date selection
it showing me correct result , but while i am taking the date interval for PO date it not
showing the correct result.
eg: PO date: 01.01.2010 for a particular PO and Gr date is suppose 03.01.2010, 06.01.2010
it showing the result 2 and 5.
But if i am taking date interval for PO date:
eg: 01.01.2010 - 31.01.2010
PO date: 10.01.2010 and GR date are suppose 15.01.2010, 22.01.2010 and 30.01.2010
it showing me 14, 21 and 29

Ldapsearch does not return the correct result
We are using the Netscape Directory server 4.12. We try to use the Radiator Radius server to query the Directory server for authentication.
When we use the filter:
uid=itkychan
to query if the user is in the Directory, it returns the correct result.
However, we would like to query if the username is in a specified group, e.g. tss_ns_grp, in the Directory, we try to use the following command:

HttpServletRequest.getHeaders("accept") does not return the correct results
I noticed that when I use the invoke the HttpServletRequest.getHeaders("accept") method I do not get the result that I am expecting.
For instance, if the browser passes over the following accept header:
"text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,/;q=0.8"
When i invoke the getHeaders() method, instead of it returning me a single value with the string that was passed over, it returns me 4 separate entries. It looks like Iplanet is parsing the header value and breaking it up by commas.
When I run the same code in TomCat, it returns the single comma separated string as I would expect.
Is there anything to keep Iplanet from breaking apart the header value?

Query with outer join not dispalying the correct results

I am having a table which has a column called status it can either be null or has the code which comes from the lookup b.When I use this query

then I don't get the rows from table a, where status is null
and if I use the condition:

I cannot get my Mini Cooper to sync up with my nano thru the USB port. When I hook up with the cable that came with the Nano, it acknowledges that it is an Ipod however it displays the message that I do not have the correct cable. When I use the audtio adapter cable from BMW it doesn't see the Nano at all. Has anyone else had the issue and what did you do to over come it I tried my nano in another persons car (a Ford) and it worked with no issue.
This can sometimes be the result of a faulty/damaaged USB sync cable. Do you have another cable you could test it out with?

See, we now know that you used keytool to generate you certificate. You need a new certificate. This time, when keytool asks you for a first and last name, type 127.0.0.1. -
My new ipad photos are not in the correct albums
Ok so I got the new iPad, and transferred everything including my photos from my iPad 2 backup. I have about 600 pictures divided into 7 folders. After syncing, I looked at the photos and saw that the pictures are on my iPad but not in the correct folders.
For example, say I've got a Pets folder, Wallpapers folder and Personal folder. Those folders are on my iPad. On my computer, the Pets folder only has pictures of my dog, the wallpaper folder only has some background images, etc. on my iPad the pictures are all jumbled up. When I click on the Pets folder, there will be a few pet pictures, a few wallpapers and a few personal photos. Same for the other folders.
I tried resyncing from the backup and resyncing not from the backup. All with the same result. I also checked the folder I'm syncing from on the computer, and the photos are all in the right place there.
Kind of frustrating. Ever heard of this before and is there a solution?Well I fixed it, accidentally on my own. My pictures were still jumbled up. I had to save another picture from the Internet onto my camera roll, BAM, suddenly all of my photos shifted into their correct folders.
Somehow Saving another picture fixed whatever the error was. In any case, thanks for the help everyone. If anyone else has this issue, try saving another photo to your camera roll. -
V$session prev_hash_value not returning the correct value?

I am executing a plsql package (which has the following query) in two modes: through Toad and through a deployed web application. I get two results.

Toad gives me the correct result. The query above pulls the correct SQL statement. But when running through the web application it gives me
some random SQL statement executed during that session. I thought it might have something to do with pooled JDBC connections so I made sure for that
execution I created a new dedicated JDBC connection. Still did not work. I used the function SYS_CONTEXT('USERENV', 'SID') to report the session id
from my java program and from the query above. Both return the same SID. I've tried different variations of that query above (removing status = ACTIVE, removing username = USER, etc...)
and I still get the same result.
So any thoughts on what's going on?

PiyushI believe I figured it out. My testing was flawed. The testing in Toad was directly calling my package (e.g., pkg_b). The web app doesn't do that. It calls pkg_a which does a bunch of setup and then calls the target package (pkg_b) using EXECUTE IMMEDIATE. Apparently the v$session stops collecting info at that point. The current statement always shows as 'BEGIN :b1 := pkg_b; END;'. But it's still confusing why it would do that. Is there another way to access SQL statements from within that dynamic block?

Alerts not retrieving the correct number of records

I have created alerts to run plans. These plans are getting records from DB and populating the ADC. The alerts are getting executed but are not retrieving the correct number of records.
I have created 5 alerts to run 5 plans all in the same time. The error at the "Data Flow service status" window is :

This error is seen for 2-3 plans .......
But if i execute the plan manually from design studio there is no error.
So
1. Do i need to change anything in the config files to increase the MAx memory block?
2. Is there any way, the plans can be run one at a time i.e. configure alerts in such a way that if one plan finishes the other one starts automatically? Currently i have scheduled the plans to run at the same time using Alerts..

ThanksHere is one 'culprit' you can verify. Open DesignStudio. You should "--not--" see any grids or icons on (near) the botton status row. If you see them - right click and delete them. These are plans with same_names put in 'locked' state. After you do this. close your design studio.
Note- if you ever open a plan in designstudio, always "save" it and close it (exit). Donot click on window [x] mark to close the appl.
After above verifrication -- restart EnterpriseLink and restart PlanMonitor, verify if everything runs fine.

Logical column not in hierarchy is shown as being drillable?
I have a hierarchy created, lets say customer. Within all the levels, logical column "customer zipcode" is not added. By default then, this column would be associated with the detail or lowest level. When I create a report in answers with just this column, it shows up drillable whereby it drills to the lowest level which is apart of by default. So my question is why is this logical column drillable if it is not associated explicitly in the hierarchy?
Thanks for the reply. Later yesterday I figured out the problem. It took some unit testing and trial and error; but, this is what I gathered during testing.
1. logical columns for hierarchy table source that are not explicitly added to a level in the hierarchy is by default put in lowest level and they are not drillable because of that.
2. If you add a logical column which is derived off other logical columns through an expression (for example concatenating col_nm||'('||col_cd||')' in the lowest level, add it as a key and set the key for "use for drilling" then this too will make all logical columns drillable to that. Don't know why but could be a bug.
3. If you set preferred drill path for the lowest level to another hierarchy level, then those logical column(s) will be drillable. Probably because they are not at the lowest level any more since there is another level down now due to the preferred drill path.
So in the end since the lowest level drillable column has to be a logical column which is built through expression and the fact that this lowest level needs to drill to another level in another hierarchy due to business requirements I am stuck with all columns not in the hierarchy being drillable. The fix around this though is to go to all these columns that are now drillable, set the aggregation rule to 'no interaction' and save as system-wide default. -
The percentage completed UI is not showing the correct data
Hi All,
I have received complaints from one of my larger customers that a very long form we have created is not showing the correct % completed at the bottom. They get to the penultimate page (the last page only have three text boxes on) and it state that only 41% of the form has been completed.
It looks to me like the UI is not updating as the questions are being completed. Rather it waits until you move to the next page.
This is what makes our form look rubbish - you are being told that you have only completed 41% of the form only to move on to the next page and bam, you only have three more boxes to complete.
Can somebody help me out here.

I can take a look at your form but you are right that only the pages are accounted for in the percentage and not the form fields so it can be far off from reality. If there is skip logic in a form that can make it vary more. It is likely that it is working "correctly" (considering how we calculate) in your form but if you send me the link to your form at [email protected] I can see if it is not.

ActiveX error when BPC process dimension
