LOGICAL SYSTEM IS MISSING CREATE ?

I installed the BW in the system.but i cont login the BW system.Its shows error message'system ecc client 001 as no logical name.Naming takes place through assaignment to a logical system you must have to create another logical system before you can do this to continue,now assaign the logical system to this system and client'.Please tell me the answer asap.

Take help of basis team to create logical system and assigning also you can check in sm59 your system is working or not.

How does the Logical System GUID get created

In R3 table CRMPRLS has a logical GUID for its logical system name. How does this get created/updated? Is it created during the initial replication of the data between R3 and CRM? Why I am wondering is my systems where working ok in my QA environment then something happen to change LSGUID in my CRMPRLS table on R3. So now my middleware is not working. I will use notes 588701 and 765018 to fix the problem, but I am trying figure out what caused it before it happens again in my production environment.
We are doing one thing to mention is that our R3 environment is being setup to talk to 2 different CRMs. I am wondering if the setup of the second CRM caused the guid to change. If so what step during the middleware setup of CRM would cause that?

We are facing a similar issue. Could you please let us know the activities done to get the issue resolved?
Did you revert back the changes done as suggested in the Note 588701, if yes can you let me know where the changes has been done and how has it is reverted back?
Also, in the table CRMPRLS in R/3 we do not see an entry for the external SRM system.
Please note, for replicating material into SRM we use the CRM Middleware.

Logical System is missing

When I click on RSA1, I get a message " System RBA client 150 has no logical name!
Naming takes place through assignment to a logical system." And gave me an option to create or assign.
I select Assign and get 4 options SAP AG Konzern
Auslieferungsmandant R11
Test EarlyWatch Profiles
Unit Test
I select Unit Testing > Details> I get my client name , city, logical system (BLANK) , std currency and client role set to 'Customizing'.
What should i put in the logical system which is set to BLANK. should i put in there BIDEV150 ?

Hi Diego,
I did put in my logical name provided by the company. And i get Entry BIDEV150 does not exist in TBDLS (check entry). So i went to tcode SALE and Define Logical System> entered BIDEV150 for Log System and name BI development for name. Is this correct. Should I now save it?..its creating a transport..should I go for it? Can i undo it if needed and delete the transport.
Once this is done can i then assign it the client?

Logical system missing in PI SLD

Hi,
The problem I facing currently during transport of SAP business system from Dev to Quality system, logical system is missing in the Adapter Specific parameters.
The actual problem I have seen in the SLD, the logical system is a blank and even after I pushed from RZ70.
Can you please suggest me how could i retrieve the Logical system in the SLD by automatically.

ALE logical systems for business service or process

Hi,
I am trying to send an IDOC into my R/3 system. It is the same IDOC type that I have sucessfully sent out to parties. All the config is in place for communicating with the system, because I have sent others IDOCs in the past. However, they always were sent from another R/3 business system. They processed sucessfully.
I am now trying to sending IDOC's from a BPM,as well as, from a business service. They are under the "With Party" section of the directory. These obviously do not have logical systems, so when I try to send the IDOC I get
"Unable to convert the sender service Purchase_Orders to an ALE logical system", where purchase_Orders being the name of the business serice.
How can I handle this problem?
Should I hard code values somewhere?
Which ones?
I have read the other posts for the error above, but my situation seems to be different.

Hi,
To solve your problem, here my solution:
1/ In your Business Process of your ID (configurator), go to menu "Service > Adapter-specific identifier" and in the part "IDoc Adapter", write your Logical System.
2/ Create this Logical System on your target system (R/3).
WARNING: XI allows you to used a Logical System for only one service (Business Process). Thus, if you are several interfaces, you must used different Logical Systems.

Wrong logical system for partner profile

Dear gurus,
we have been sending ORDERS Idocs for some time now, using to a logical system called MSC_MM_PRD, a RFC connection called MSC_MM_PRD and a port for Idoc processing called A000000003.
Now, we would like to send ORDERS Idocs to another logical system. We created that new logical system called MES001, a RFC connection (MES) and a Port for IDoc processing using that RFC destination (A00000004).
After that we maintained a partner profile for the new logical system MES001 with outbound parameters for ORDERS Idocs. So far, so good.
But then, I had to create a new message type for purchase orders to use that new connection (called ZEDI) and I guess that is where I made a mistake: I copied the existing message type for the old ALE connection and changed some parameters (like name etc.).
Now, when I create a new purchase order and add a message of the new type and save the order, I get an error message:
EDI: Partner profile outbound process code not available
Message no. E0335
Diagnosis
An outbound partner profile could not be found with the following key:
/MSC_MM_PRD/LS//EF/ZEDI//
[u2026]
Procedure
Please check the outbound partner profiles for the assignment of the process code:
As you can see, SAP tries to find an outbound partner profile using the old logical system (MSC_MM_PRD) and the new message type (ZEDI) as a key and obviously fails.
Can anyone please tell me why SAP uses the old logical system and how I can change that?

problem was, that we had not created a proper distribution model for the message type (BD64). After we did that, it worked fine.

Deletion of logical system

hi friends ,
i created a logical system long back and i have sent idocs succesfully from crm system to Tibco System , recently i have deleted this logical system and i created a new logical system , now the problem is if i trigger an idoc , two idocs are getting generated one with previous logical system and another with new logical system , but the previous logical system is not visible in SALE OR BD54 can u please suggest me how it is getting trigered or i need to delete it at some other tcode please suggest
please help me it is very urgent

actually i deleted the old logical system because it is assigned to a client , and added a new one with out assigning to the client and i have changed in we20 also , and its working fine but the thing is that it triggering two idocs one for the new logical system with status 03 and with 0ld with status 29 or 37 with standard message type CRM_XIF_PARTNER_SAVE AND WITH OLD LOGICAL SYSTEM so please suggest me how can i restrict the older one , and i am unable to know where the system is picking the older logical system even thought i have deleted in SALE

I send I message from XI to R3 and I get the error "Unable to convert the sender service to an ALE logical system" in transaction "sxmb_moni". I've configured the idoc-adapter, as following:
-I have created a business system "r3sys_bs" with a logical system "r3system". This business system is the idoc-adapter. This logical system is also created in transaction "bd54". In the ID I have assigned the business system the logical system (adapterspecific identification).
So, this error still appears.
Can anybody help me please?

our scenario is JMS --> XI --> IDoc
so, I have created a business system "jms_bs" without a logical system in sld, that I use for the jms-connection to another software. so, the business system is a "third party".
Then I have created a business system with assigned logical system for the IDoc-Receiver as I in my first posting mentioned.
Which of both business systems need a logical system?

Unable to convert the sender service insertgoods to an ALE logical system

Hi ,
I am trying to send an IDOC to sap system through XI BPM . But I am getting error as "Unable to convert the sender service insertgoods to an ALE logical system"
To rectify this error, I selected the integration process in integration directory and in (services---adapter specific properties I gave the logical system name as "LS" . Now i do not get any error in XI but idoc failed in SAP with error as "Partner profile not available "
Please advice .

I have done this type scenarios using A2A and BPM also. I got success.
Here what i mean to say , forget about your integration process for a while.
For example you are sending a vendor file from System1 to a SAP System (IDOC). Here that file send by sender should be converted into IDOC.
So during the configuration of SLD for Sender system ,we should give logical system (any name) for Business System.
That logical system should be created in SAP system in (SALE tcode).Then you can't get that <b>"Unable to convert the sender service"</b>error.
For integration process no need to assign any logical system , leave it blank.

BS- Adapter Specific Identifies - Logical System: value is missing

I've created a simple scenario in which idoc is being received in ECC (by idoc receiver). my communication channel (i.e., soapSender) is part of my INTEGRATION_SERVER business system. i checked, for the relevant business system the Adapter Specific Identifies -> Logical System values and it was missing. therefore, i had to update the correlated technical system definition (at SLD) and updated required value (i.e., logical system). somehow the value is still missing when i re-check the business system (at Integration Builder).
i took the following actions:
1. delete and re-import BS from SLD.
2. re-start xI
and nothing was changed.
What can be done?

I do not 100% understand your statement. Plz check AGAIN (in SLD) if the logical system name is still there.
My suspect was that a ABAP job (you can look to it in RZ70) is overwriting the technical system.

JCO connection error:Couldn't create JCOClientConnection for logical System

We are facing a production outage issue.
We have a Federated Portal Network setup where one of our producer goes down automatically (seems on heavy load).
On this Producer server we have 3 Web Dynpro applications deployed and default trace is full with JCO connection error   saying Could   not create JCOClientConnection for logical System: CSVMR_WD_MODELDATA_DEST.
We had issue with max allowed JCO connections so we changed the below mentioned parameters for JCO connection settings in portal:
u2022     Minimum value of JCo Pool Size in total = 80
u2022     Minimum value for CPIC_MAX_CONV per SAP Web AS = 320
u2022     Maximum Number JCo Connections = 160
Please let us know if we are missing on some settings, any help in this regard is appreciated.

Hi,
As you have already increased the maximum number of connections/pool size but still you are facing this problem. I would suggest you to check the web dynpro application which might not be able to release/disconnect the JCO connection.

Creating logical systems in EP7

hello,
We have created a logical system that conects to a backend. All portal iviews point to this logical system.
We have to change the properties of the logical system but before do this step we need to proove that works correctly without changing the final users preview.
So we should create a new logical system and duplicate all iviews to point to this new logical system and to prove them.
But We prefer not to duplicate all portal content... Is other way to do this????
