I must admit that I am frustrated. This is day #2 trying to download Oracle Migration Workbench and the plug-ins for specific databases. user is tsduncan
Started when my login was rejected by OTN as "invalid login/password". tried to add it thinking that my metalink login did not map. rejected as duplicate. so i checked the "forgot my password" link and received mail at my email address with the username and password that I had tried. tried again - no luck. Said "the heck with it" and created another login to a useless email (since my real email is in use). Go thru the whole survey process (very unweildy) and when I finally get to the point where I think I can download, there is a web error. perfect! So I hit the "Contact us" button and it effectively tells me to open a tar with support. Support tells me to that they don't support this - they do technical work. They also tell me to create a bogus account - basically, they tell me to buzz off. I look at the "Contact us" again and see that you can communicate to OTN via a forum, but you must log in! funny, I can't. that's my problem! So I use this bogus account that I created and am communicating. I find that there are plenty of entries for people having login problems and problems with downloads of omwb. what they tend to get is "works for me". Well it doesn't work for me. Want to discuss it? call me. I'll be happy to walk you thru it - heck, you have MY password - you try it.
Like I said, I am frustrated. My user name is tsduncan. My email is [email protected] write, call, do something to help me get the "free" software that I am looking to get to progress Oracle in the shop. Anything!

i guess the OTN feedback section is a hobby and does not have assigned staff. it really is quite frustrating to try and resolve an issue like this and be pushed off and/or ignored. i am calling it like i am seeing it.
your system agreed that my login and password were/are correct and yet i cannot log in (along with a number of others). no mechanism to communicate would be easier to tolerate than having a mechanism and being ignored.

FTP login and password are not saved on some sites

On some of my sites the FTP login and password are not saved
(even though the "saved" box is checked). Dreamweaver 8.0 on XP
SP2. I can export the site information and then import the same
file exported and there still will be no login or password placed
in the login or password window. I opened the exported .ste files
in notepad and found the login correct and the password incorrect.
I uninstalled Dreamveaver and reinstalled still same
problem.

Ok, I just spent about 3 hours on this. Here's the latest
that I've found. I had looked at the knowledgebase and my registry
matched what was suggested. As this has been an ongoing issue for
me, I thought it was still an issue. Apparently 8.02 did have some
improvements.
I can only guess that many of the 36 sites I have in the Site
Manager lost info before the .02 update.. or I hope so.
I did however discover that there is still what could be
considered a minor bug. I went in to Manage Sites and selected edit
for all of my sites, fixing the ones that had lost their user/pass
info. I'm not positive, but I think only the last edited site kept
it's data.
I discovered after many checks on all the sites, over and
over and over, that it appears that they are now holding the data,
but, if I add the user/pass, I must not only click the OK button to
close that particular site, but I must also click the 'Done' button
before only that one will be saved.
So, I thought I was fixing logins when in fact I was only
fixing one at a time.. Completely closing 'Manage Site' seemed to
hold one new set of login data each time. Seems that it shouldn't
be this way.
But I must say, I am rejoicing at the moment, as I actually
have all my sites set up with FTP info and I am now looking forward
to hopefully adding more and maybe they'll actually be available
for the next editing session.

Safari 7 Preferences: I can't delete a web site login and password

I had the same problem, and the solution was to delete the entries using the Keychain Access tool, found in Applications → Utilities. You can search for the entry there, remove it, and then it will be deleted from Safari as well.
(I had to do this when I changed my email address on Amazon, and all the auto-login pages had the old email addresses and wouldn't update. I tried to delete them from Safari's passwords dialog and ran into the problem you described).

Dreamweaver 8 won't hold site login and password information

Hello,
When I enter the login and password information for my DW8
sites and click the save box, it will work fine for the rest of the
work session. I can connect, upload and download without a problem.
But the next day when I try to work on the site again, I get the
error message that the site cannot be found, and have to go back
into manage sites and enter the information again. Can anyone tell
me why my DW isn't keeping this information?

Nevermind...after looking further through the site, I found
that it was a problem identified by Adobe and solved with an update
patch. I will download that and it should do the trick.

How do I manually enter site logins and id to the saved password feature?

Sometimes when visiting a site y0u are given the opportunity to have the login and password saved, however, if this opportunity is acted upon you cannot enter the information at a later date. Is there a way to overcome this and if so, how??

Cannot login, and lots of more of these problems

I used to use the HP eprintcenter. This used to work properly.
Then it changed into HPconnect. The worst site I ever seen. Let me sum up:
1) I cannot login... Initially I used Chrome as a browser, but his does not work, so HP does not know there are other browsers than stupid IE.
2) then I used IE, There I select login and give my credentials. There it says I am already HP connected. Press the button below. "Go to HP connected". But when I do so, it is returning to the previous web page. I am simply turning circles.
3) Then I pressed HELP, and was directed to a forum. Guess what? it asks me to create a new account. Don't I have enough accounts already??? Why can't I use my HPeprint account??? But ok, once more.... I tried at least 15 different user names, but without success... turning circles again.
4) then I arrived on this forum. There is a special section on "how to use this forum". Dear HP, if you need to explain how it works, then it sucks. Make things easy, so you don't need to explain why you made it complex.
Can someone give me my old HPeprintCenter back or tell me how you can simply, with a single username and password and with whatever browser I like I can LOGIN to this stuff to see if it is really worth going through this misery???

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues when you migrated from HP's ePrintCenter to HP Connected.
HP connected as been rolled out to the USA and the UK, all other countries/regions at this time are still using HP ePrintCenter. As for not being able to sign into ePrintCenter I have included a link to one of my posts here on the forum for those customers that seem to be stuck in a loop when trying to log in.
The easiest way to get your printer onto your new HP Connected account is to reset the web services on the front panel of your printer. I am unable to link you to the instructions on this as you didn't indicated which model/product of HP printer you have. After resetting the web services you will get a new claim code to add your printer to your HP Connected account. Please be advised, if you reset the web services, you will lose your current ePrint email address, and you will need to create a new email address for the printer.

How to get safari to remember login and password after I said do not remember

I went to a website through Safari and logged in and accidentally hit Never remember for this site and now I cannot get safari to remember the login and password. I have gone through preferences/passwords and the site is not listed and it will not allow me to add a site. I would love help with this since I log on to this site just about every day! Any suggestions?

It might be a corrupted keychain ...
Open Keychain Access located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Open Keychain Access then select Passwords on the left.
Right or control click a keychain then click Delete.
Back to Safari. Login to the website you want the password autofilled.
Click Yes when prompted to save that data to a new keychain.
Keep in mind, not all websites espcially financial institutions allow the autofill feature.

Client login and purchasing

I want to switch my photography website from Zenfolio to Behance Pro but before I do I want to confirm that Behance provides the capability to have client login and purchasing capabilities. I've not explored Behance in minute detail, but I just don't have anymore time! Perhaps for this type of site it's better to work through Adobe Muse?

1) For "client login," you can create a password-protected page for clients. When you give them the link to this, they'll be required to enter a password.
2) While we don't have an e-commerce feature on ProSite, you can mark specific images as "for sale" by using this feature:

It's an ova file. When I run it, it shows already installed and asks for a login and password. As mentioned in the download site, it is an evaluation installation for 100 devices.
I could not find any document on this file - ISE-1.3.0.876-eval-2.ova.
Please let me know, if there is any document that provide a login and password for this ova pre-installed software.

Cluster logins and security

I am new to SQL Server clusters for HA, but from a security angle, say for example you have 10 SQL Servers in the cluster, and Server 1 dies, do Server 2 takes on the databases in Server 1 - how are the logins in Server 1 carried over so users can still
login and access their databases? Or do you have to clone all accounts on all servers so they can still login to any server. This seems massively unsecure to me, as users who need access to a DB on server 1 will have no requirement to access DB's on other
servers in the node. So how does it work? Please keep answers basic for someone new to this.

DW8 forgets FTP login and password

Each time I open Dreamweaver 8 to work on my site, I have to
re-enter the FTP login and password. This only began happening
recently. I check SAVE box, but DW8 does not save the login or
password ... so I have to re-enter every time. PLEASE advise what

1) I changed passwords few time. (through using forgot password options)
2) Cleaned-up memmory and cash using ccleaner.
3) Restarted the system couple of time, Try to login from preferance>iCloud> ...

Somehow in the "Managing Sites" > Edit > Remote Info
