Login credentials failed

try this
http://community.spiceworks.com/help/Authentication_Domain
in the Workgroup section
and of course you'll need to open up the firewalls by hand/script as well.
I hope those arent your real username/passwords!

I failed to create inventory due to failed to log into other pc. I have no domain but I have the same common local administrator password  for those networked pcs. My host and network pcs using Windows7 Pro.
Spiceworks suggest domain\username.. but since I don't have a domain how would I typed into the username field ?
Eg. My common administrator login username is asd234, and password 432dsa. So how will I type into the credentials ?
Appreciate your kind help.. Thank you.

  • EssBase: Login fails due to invalid login credentials

    I am currently running Hyperion System Planning 9, authenticating users through my LDAP server and am having a problem creating new users. I have gone through what I believe are the steps I need to take and have created my users but now when they try to login to EssBase, through the excel add-in, I get this message: "Login fails due to invalid login credentials"
    I have searched the forums and the Essbase knowledge base and have come up empty. The only thing I have found is this:
    "You just need to provision your shared services user with access to Essbase. Right-click on your user, select provision and then give them the required Essbase rights."
    I have provisioned my users several times and made sure that they are added to the correct groups but they still can't log in.
    Has anyone had this issue before?
    Thanks,
    J

    Another point that you need verify, the service sequence:
    1. Start the analytic Services
    2. Star analytic Administration services.

    Wallace

  • Cannot connect to olap service. Cannot connect to Essbase Server. Error:Essbase Error(1051293): Login fails due to invalid login credentials

    Hello All,
    I am getting following error, when trying to expand essbase from calculation manager, "Cannot connect to olap service. Cannot connect to Essbase Server. Error:Essbase Error(1051293): Login fails due to invalid login credentials",
    I am using EPM 11.1.2.1
    Thanks
    Yash

    If you have moved the server to a new data center and an issue has started occurring then it could point to the change.
    Are you able to log into essbase directly with Maxl using the same account?
    If you run a registry report do you see any of the configuration with IPs instead of DNS/hostname
    Cheers

  • Problem in Production as Login Credentials changed

    Hi,
    This is a scenario from IDOC to JDBC.
    This is a case arised due to blocking of the id, which we were previously  using in XI for getting connected from R/3 systems, ie the RFC destinations from R/3 to XI were using that login credentials.
    So the scenarios failed.
    Again we reset the ID with the same password. But the scenario is failing.
    The idocs are reaching to XI , but the the pipeline steps are not executed. It is saying " INBOUND INTERFACE NOT FOUND"
    This is a problem in Production, and we ve not touched any interface or mapping.Previously the scenario was working fine.
    Pls give me the solution and we 'll give 500 points:-)
    Regards,
    Navneet

    Quick Checks:
    1. Check the status of User in R/3 which you have used in the RFC destination i.e SM59 and IDOC Adapter ? if it is locked , then unlock it. If password is the problem, then try to change the password.
    Don't reset it ...
    2. Also check out the status in XI, SM59... what is the user used ? is it correct etc... by testing the connection
    3. I think the IDOC Metadata is having problem.. Go to IDX2 and reimport the metadata in XI.
    Also note that, it is prefer to use Service User in SM59, and IDOC adapter instead of dialog use in the Production environment. so that no problem of locking etc
    Hope this helps`

  • BPM Login page failing to load once SSL enabled.

    Hi Experts,
    I have added the SSL certificate following the Oracle documentation. I am able to logging admin server on the ssl port.
    When I enable the ssl for the Soa managed server the BPM login page opens up but it fails to load the page after I pass the right credentials. What I have observed is that when i uncheck the SSL option of the SOA Managed server I am able to login into the BPM server but the moment I enable the SSL port of the manage server the BPM login page fails to open the page even though I am passing correct credentials.
    I also followed below steps from Oracle document but the issue remains the same. Please let me know the direction to solve the problem.
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/admin.1111/e10226/soacompapp_secure.htm#SOAAG3556
    5.6.3 Switching from Non-SSL to SSL Configurations with Oracle BPM Worklist
    Switching from non-SSL to SSL configurations with Oracle BPM Worklist requires the Frontend Host and Frontend HTTPS Port fields to be set in Oracle WebLogic Server Administration Console. Not doing so results in exception errors when you attempt to create to-do tasks.
    To switch from non-SSL to SSL configurations with Oracle BPM Worklist:
    Log in to Oracle WebLogic Server Administration Console.
    In the Environment section, select Servers.
    Select the name of the managed server (for example, soa_server1).
    Select Protocols, then select HTTP.
    In the Frontend Host field, enter the hostname on which Oracle BPM Worklist is located.
    In the Frontend HTTPS Port field, enter the SSL listener port.
    Click Save.

    Hi,
    Are you using  your own certificates for SSL? If yes,you must remove references to the demo certificates by removing the following line from the setDomainEnv file for your version of the operating system.
    -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=${WL_HOME}/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks
    Also check that  the path for truststore are properly set in setDomainEnv.sh/Cmd file.

    But requirement is change the above error message.
    2) I need to change the error message instead of "1 error has occureed"

  • Using login credentials from the first page

    Hi guys hopw one of you will help me!!
    I a jsp page which takes the username and password.(this is login.jsp)
    If the login is successful the page enters into another jsp which has a list of what the user wants to do.
    Everything is working fine at tht moment.
    But my major concern is say if i give the following ur to login:
    http://localhost:8000.login.jsp
    and enter the username and password.After succesfully logging in I have another jsp(register.jsp)
    with the following functions:
    Delete user
    create user
    The problem is if i give the following address in my browser:
    http://localhost:8000/success.jsp directly this page is being displayed without checking for the login credentials.
    Is there a way where i can check the username and password before the page is being displayed.(remeber I dont have username and password text boxes in each page).
    Thanx in advance.

    Yes you can do this search the forums with the search bar to the left looking for login routines and session variables.
    You put the result of your loging routine (pass or fail) into a session variable. All protected pages then check this session variable, and redirect to the login page if it is not correct.
    Search for session variables.

  • I'm trying to connect through the FTP client Filezilla. When I try to login with the wizard, it gives me a "503 Failure of Data Connection" reply; when I attempt to login myself, it gives me a "530 Login Authentication Failed." HELP!!!

    Now before anyone points out the obvious: my username and password are correct. I've already gone through changing them so I know they are.
    Additionally, I've pretty much tried EVERYTHING I've read online, from messing with "terminal" (and subsequently the FTP and STFP options) to changing the sharing options and turning on file sharing/remote management as well as just turning off my Firewall completely.
    Now I've used Filezilla before when I first published my site and everything worked fine. My site is published through Wordpress so most of my editing was done through simply logging into my "wp-login." I recently changed the theme and in order to change the header image in that theme I have to do it through my "wp-content" folder, which means I need to use Filezilla. I feel like a complete moron right now considering I've had my site for about a year and can't even doing something this simple.
    I've read that the newer version of Lion/Mountain Lion don't support automatice FTP anymore, which (as I mentioned prior) I attempted to fix through Terminal. However, nothing I do seem to do works.
    Can someone walk me through fixing this? And I do mean 'walk me through'. I'm not a tech-savvy nerd who knows all the lingo, I just know the basics so sorry if my ignorance offends you.
    HELP!!

    First be sure login and password are OK. Sometimes the address starts wit "http://..." and sometime starts with "ftp://...". Try both normal FTP access and Scure FTP access (SFTP). At the end, contact the site's provider.

  • Login credentials server with multiple users on 1 Mac

    The situation is a MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion connecting to a Mac Mini.
    The MacBook Pro has 3 users with administrator rights:
    A, B and C.
    When user B is logged in and wants to connect to the Mac mini, the login dialog shows the credentials of user A by default.
    This happens also after a re-start and first login by user B.
    How can I have the system forget the login credentials in the above case so that user B can have the correct default user name in the login window?
    Thanks for your help.

    While logged in as User B, open Keychain Access. Find the password entry for connecting to the mini and delete it.
    Then, try to log in again. User B likely used User A's login info at some point, maybe testing, to connect to the mini, so those credentials were saved in the keychain.

  • How to pass login credentials dynamically to secured partnerlink in a BPEL

    Hi,
    I am trying to invoke a secured web service from a BPEL.And requirement is to dynamically pass the username and password . I have done the following steps to pass the login credentials to the partner link.
    Infact I have followed one of the oracle forums.BUT ITS NOT WORKING.
    ====================================================================================================
    1. Imported the xml schema "oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd"
    2. Created a variable "SecurityContext"
    <variable name="SecurityContext" element="ns2:Security"/>
    3.Created a copy rule.
    <copy>
    <from>
    <wsse:Security xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd"
    xmlns:wsu="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd">
    <wsse:UsernameToken xmlns:wsu="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-utility-1.0.xsd">
    <wsse:Username>myusername</wsse:Username>
    <wsse:Password Type="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-username-token-profile-1.0#PasswordText">mypassword</wsse:Password>
    </wsse:UsernameToken>
    </wsse:Security>
    </from>
    <to variable="SecurityHeader"/>
    </copy>
    4. Added the following xml to the invoke operation.
    <invoke name="Invoke_1" partnerLink="UnitHealthService"
    portType="ns1:UnitHealth" operation="queryUnitHealthInfo"
    inputVariable="Invoke_1_queryUnitHealthInfo_InputVariable"
    outputVariable="Invoke_1_queryUnitHealthInfo_OutputVariable"
    bpelx:inputHeaderVariable="SecurityContext"/>
    5. Deployed the BPEL sucessfully.
    6. Output message given by BPEL console is
    <Faulthttp://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/>
    <faultcode>env:Server</faultcode>
    <faultstring>com.oracle.bpel.client.delivery.ReceiveTimeOutException: Waiting for response has timed out. The conversation id is a28500bf6f4d1dc9:- 488f4503:1215f79430f:-7d71. Please check the process instance for detail.</faultstring>
    </Fault>
    7. In the VISUAL flow diagram , message generated by the Invoke activity is as below:
    <summary>exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Bad response: 401 Unauthorized</summary>
    So FINALLY ITS NOT CONNECTING.
    ====================================================================================================
    When I created the properties and hardcoded the username and password like below, its worked.
    <property name="basicHeaders">credentials</property>
    <property name="basicUsername">myusername</property>
    <property name="basicPassword">mypassword</property>
    Can anyone suggest HOW CAN I DYNAMICALLY PASS USERNAME AND PASSWORD to the secured web service via partner link??
    Thanks,
    Kumar

    I have tried it but itwas not working..
    I am not able to set exactly the copy rules given in that blog as that blog has wsse:password king of assignments where as when I try to assign , I have the asignment like /ns2:password .
    Am I mising something here?
    I have imported only oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd.
    Thanks,
    Kumar

  • Creation of login object failed

    Hi all,
    I've got a problem with the mobile client development.
    We are using the mobile client for many years and we even develop a lot with it, but now i have a problem never seen.
    After extending a bDoc and start testing the application, after the generation and login, system states "Creation of login object failed".
    So i did a full generation. Result the same.
    I debugged the ValidateLogin class and found out, that in the following statement is failing
           BOLOGIN = BusinessRootObject.BusinessFactory.LoadBusinessObject("LOGIN", determineUser)
    BOLOGIN is Nothing at the end. I tried out to create the Object via        BOLOGIN = BusinessRootObject.BusinessFactory.CreateBusinessObject("LOGIN")
    same result. Next i tried to create the BOACTIVITY and it failed as well. One day before everything was fine, even with changing business documents.
    The error in the VB.ERR object says:
    -     err     {Microsoft.VisualBasic.ErrObject}     Microsoft.VisualBasic.ErrObject
         Description     "In der Methode BusinessFactoryCore.LoadBusinessObject ist eine System-Exception aufgetreten"     String
         Erl     0     Integer
         HelpContext     0     Integer
         HelpFile     ""     String
         LastDllError     3     Integer
         Number     5     Integer
         Source     "MTBLLFW"     String
    Can anybody please give a hint.
    We are using CRM 5.0 SP7 and MSA SP7 on MS 2003 Server with local repository. DB is SQL2000.
    Yesterday i was releasing a changelist and now its no longer working at all, what a mess.
    Thanks to all,
    Andreas Rose

    Hi Andreas,
    The problem may be incorrect or corrupt ARSREP.DAT file.
    The reason may be that the BDOCs are not synched from MAS. Once you sync this through MAS you will find the *.bdoc files at the location
    mentioned under the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\SAP\MSA\MW\TL\BDocPath
    Usually this would be default as C:\Program Files\SAP\Mobile\tpsfiles.
    After this when you generate the BusinessLibrary the Arsrep.dat file
    will have the *.bdocs incorporated in the Arsrep.dat file.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards, Gervase
    ps. For synching the BDocs refer to SAP Note 942942

  • Error while Debugging MSA  'Creation of Login Object Failed'

    Dear Friends,
    I am working on CRM Mobile Sales 5.0 SP 5.
    I have setup my Mobile Client and Mobile Application Studion On the same machine.
    I have perform the initial generation of the application from Mobile Repository server to my machine.
    it gave me 6 errors and 12 warnings  and took about 4 hrs for generation.
    Now when i tried to debug the generated application,
    i get my login screen and once I enter username and password.
    Error popups up stating "Creation of login object failed".
    and then another error
    "Starting MPPFailed" (MPP is my project name).
    Please suggest me how should i go about to debug the application solving the above errors.
    Awaiting Reply,
    Best Regards,
    Pratik Patel

    Am not sure if you were able to resolve the issue but below are some points:
    a. I think the dlls sfabol and msa are not any more registerable, since they are more of VB.NET components and here assembly is registered and not the dll.
    b. For logging into the application just ensure that you have user id in table SMOUSER and the employee for that user in SMOMITABT table.
    c. If this is fine, then ensure that you have the latest BDOC metadata information on your laptop. I think in 5.0 also you need to use Clientconsole to download this information.
    d. If this is all okay, then try running SQL profiler and check if the query to the ides db is being executed by the framework. If the query is fired then it means application seems to behave properly but the query is not retrieving relevant details.
    For further details feel free to contact me..
    thanks,
    Piyush

  • "Creation of login object failed" after MAS generation

    Hi everybody,
    I am working on CRM Mobile Sales 5.0 SP6. I have performed the initial generation with the .NET Application Studio. It gave me 6 errors and some warnings. Now when I tried to logon my mobile client I 've got following error:
    "Creation of login object failed".
    Visual Studio is installed on partition "C:\Program Files\" and Mobile Sales on "D:\SAP\"
    Has someone any ideas? Thanks in advance,
    Mirko

    Hi Mirko!
    In your app you're calling unknown data structures. While generating the "compiler" read the names and want to create the relevant structures but the necessary data to do this are missing. You have to start fist the client console doing a complete meta data generation. If this runs without error your generation inside the studio will succeed, too.
    BTW: In your first posting you've written "D:SAP..." and in your last the error-message was "D:ProgrammeSAP..."...
    Perhaps different settings?
    Do you have made already a successful generation with the actual installation?
    Good luck,
    Ingo

  • Reusing login credentials with multiple wars

    I have 2 web applications (war files) that are deployed to a single managed server. Both web applications use the weblogic security realm for authentication (configured via Security Realm -> Providers) with the same provider. This means that both applications have the same set of users.
    The first application implements a simple web service (using JAX-WS) that provides 3 or 4 functions.
    The second application is a UI that provides inventory operations (saved to a database) and additionally calls functions from the first web service application.
    I would like the following to happen:
    1 - User logs into the UI application
    2 - User performs an action that calls the web service application
    3 - The UI application uses the login credentials from step 1 to login to the web service application
    4 - The web service application executes the function with the user credentials from step 1
    The reason I would like this is that the web service application has an audit trail of who called the function.
    I have a work around but it is not acceptable, which is to configure a username/password in the UI. The issue is that the web service function is always called with the configured user, regardless of who logs in from step 1.
    Anyone have any ideas on how to deal with this problem?
    Does SSO help in this case?
    Is there a way to reuse the session?
