Login iCloud - spinning wheel

I've tried all stuff with netsh winsock reset, firewall, deinstall and so on.
The problem is still existing, Login with another Apple-ID works and also a new User in Windows 7 with my origin Apple-ID works.
Online works as well and Mac Book Air too ...
Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot
Chris

  • MacBook Pro Contacts iCloud & spinning wheel

    Against the iCloud Contacts there exists, permanently, a spinning wheel. My guess it has something to do with synchronising? Why also will the merge facility not work? It identifies a number of contacts needing to merge but then fails to do so.  Surely there is a solution. Thank you for reading this and for any offers of help.

  • Super slow and spinning wheel

    Hello,
    My IMac that I bought in 2010 doesn't respond well to my mouse. My mouse has full batteries.
    Right when I start it up, the white scren starts blinking very subtely.
    About 10 seconds after I login that spinning wheel appears and never stops...for hours... What is going on?
    I tried restarting it, pressed the shift button as I start it. Nothing is working.
    What should I do?
    HELP!

    Hello,
    Have you blown the dust out lately?
    See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH7029
    Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
    How much RAM & free Disk space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
    Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
    In the Memory tab of Activity Monitor, are there a lot of Pageouts?
    One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
    PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
    Reboot, test again.
    If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed. Or an errant process eating up RAM.
    Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
    Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

  • Icloud keychain spinning wheel in login screen

    Mac mini i5 2012

    This is a new mac mini.  The login screen asked me to enter my icloud id.  I did and now I got an iCloud Keychain white window with a spinning wheel.  Does it take this long to go into effect or should I shut down my mac?

    Firefox allows to select part of a word. You can select a word with a double click and use Shift + left click to set the end of the selection, so you need to click at the end of the last word instead of in it.

  • Mac mail inbox spinning wheel adjacent icloud inbox

    my Mac mail inbox, adjacent the icloud tray has a continious grey spinning wheel, no new mail is coming in.
    Also there is a grey clock adjacent Reminders/Notes/iCloud? Are they related; how to fix?

    Hi Eric,
    This is my very first post because I can usually fix things on my own, but I was freaking out a bit. I did so many things to mess up my mail, including changing an IMAP account to a POP account, applying rules that were not very smart, and when things started to go wrong, I deleted the POP account. Essentially, I pulled all my emails off the server, put them in a folder on my Mac, then deleted that folder by deleting the account. But, I appreciate your reply and potential solution. I'm always happy to learn more about my Mac, and now I know where I can look (home/user folder Library/Mail) should this happen again, so thanks for that. I was just going to leave a reply to my own post;
    I panicked, but (I think) I have fixed this. I used Time machine to restore my inbox. Suffice it to say I have a much better understanding of Apple's Mail app and how careful you need to be with setting Rules. <—— (Very embarrassed face)

  • Big trouble spinning wheel after login

    Hi I just upgraded my PG G4 to Leopard...
    1. At first I couldn't login, when the login window show up a permanent spinning wheel made impossible to login;
    2. following instruction given in this forum I was able to remove the login step and finally Leopard loads;
    3. Leopard loads but on a home folder named "home1" instead of the "home" in which it loaded with Tiger. The old "home" is still present with all its documents;
    4. Once loaded a spinning wheel made impossible to use the system.
    SO what can I do in order to:
    1. repair the spinning wheel;
    2. Load the system on the original "home" with all my docs and applications?
    Thank you so much...I'm so down...
    F.

    Restart holding the Command and R keys so you boot to the recovery HD partition.  From Utilities on the menu bar choose, Install Mac OS X and reinstall OS X.  See if that fixes what is broken.

    I have a slow startup or login, with numerious spinning wheels. Sometimes after a long ti,e I can sign into the computer and sometimes it just fails to startup or login. I have a MacBookPro OS X 10.7.5 from 2011. It became more serious recently as I think I might have let my battery run out I also tried to download the operating system to reinstall it but it allways stops around 1.4 GB out of 1.7 then the whell starts again.

    Keep the MBP attached to the power adapter.
    First try SMC and PRAM resets:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379
    Then try to boot the MBP in recovery (OPTION key down) and select the recover partition.  Select Disk Utility>First Aid and verify and repair the HDD.

  • HT204150 "Spinning wheel" next to the word "iCloud".

    Hello,
    With my contacts address book open, I have a "spinning wheel" next to the
    word "iCloud". It's been going for hours. Does anyone know what this means?
    Seems like a long time to be loading info to the cloud. Thanks.

    Sorry missed that you already tried to reset the network. About the only thing you haven't tried is Restore from Backup or last resort Restore to New. Just remember to backup your iPod to your iTunes/computer before you restore or you will loose stuff, photos, contacts, music etc. If Restore to new does not solve it you may have a hardware issue, contact your Apple store or Apple Genius Bar to have your iPod evaluated. Good luck, Cheers.

  • Failure to login - spinning wheel

  • IMac has gray screen with spinning wheel, but cannot login

    After power failure last night, iMac has gray screen with spinning wheel when turned on, but does not go to login screen.

    Having the same problem myself. iMac locked up and I had to hold the power button to turn it off. Ended up with the apple logo screen and spinning wheel. I tried the disk repair and got the same message as yourself, in that it couldn't repair it.
    I linked up an external hard drive and installed OSX on it and booted from it. I was able to recover some files, but most I couldn't. I'm currently giving it a one pass erase in the hope (long shot) that a complete pass through the hard drive will show up any faults. Has anyone had this problem and been able to continue using the same hard drive? I really don't relish the thought of having to send it off to be replaced :-/
    Assuming that the erase goes well I plan to put OSX back onto it and then run disk utility from directly on the drive and see if any faults show up. I'm kicking myself for not taking advantage of TimeMachine, but we live and learn.

  • HELP! RESTARTED MACBOOK AND NOW HAVE STUCK LOGIN SCREEN WITH SPINNING WHEEL

    So basically i restarted my macbook pro because it was performing very slowly for some reason. After i restarted it i logged in and the apple logo with the spinning wheel was stuck on the screen. I have filevault 2 on. My OS X is mavericks. I have backed up my data so i dont mind if i will have to delete the data on my macbook pro. Please help and thank you!

    So you recently replaced the original drive with a new one, is that correct?
    If so do you have a SATA/IDE to USB adapter or an Enclosure of some type?
    All Mac notebooks that have removable/replaceable hard drives also have a cable that goes from the drive to the Logic board. These cable are known to fail at any time or become intermittent. Working for some things and not for others.
    One way, and the best way, to check if it is the cable is to connect a known previously working hard drive to the system by one of these adapters or enclosures and running the system from there. If the system runs fine, although slower, and that same hard drive doesn't work when installed inside the system then it is most likely the cable that is at fault.
