Login keychain not found

I tried to do the keychain first aid and it came up with the error of login keychain not found. I googled it and nothing was helpful. Should I take my mac in?

At some point, you reset your keychain to default in Keychain Access. That caused your login keychain to be renamed.
Back up all data.
In Keychain Access, delete the login keychain from the keychain list. Choose Delete References when prompted, not Delete References & Files.
In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder from the menu bar, copy the text on the line below into the box that opens, and press return:
~/Library/Keychains
A folder will open. Rename the file "login.keychain" in that folder to something like "login-old.keychain". Rename the file "login-renamed.keychain" to "login.keychain".
Back in Keychain Access, select File ▹ Add Keychain from the menu bar. Add back the file now named "login.keychain". If any of your needed keychain items are missing from it, also add back the file you named "login-old.keychain". I suggest you transfer any needed items from that keychain to the login keychain, then delete it. The transfers are made by drag-and-drop in Keychain Access. You'll need to enter your password for each item transferred.

I took the source code including the dll files already added to the project from here:
    spazzarama/Direct3DHook
The solution include two projects the one name Capture is class library type and the dll that make the exception is in this project.
I tried now to use the program Dependency Walker on this dll file and it found error/s:
    This is the log:
Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found.
Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module.
Error: Modules with different CPU types were found.
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
    Screenshot:
It happen only when using/detecting Direct3D 11 . So far only in Direct3D 11, When i use it with a game that run Direct3D 9 it's working fine.
The question is how can i solve this dll problem ? Any site/place to download this dll from ?

  • "Keychain Not Found" message

I've been having issues with my keychain not saving passwords and always having a message pop up whenever I open Safari. The message says:
"Keychain 'login' cannot be found to store 'Safari' "
There are two options...one is to cancel and the other is to reset to default. I've tried the "reset to default" option, but the message still pops up whenever I'm surfing the web or have opened Safari.
This doesn't affect my performance on my computer, but is annoying that it keeps popping up and doesn't save any passwords for sites I use often.
I have an iBook G4 and am running OS 10.4.6 and the Safari is version 2.0.3
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Monito & Welcome to Discussions
Do you have Autofill enabled in Safari's pref. ? If you do not use it, disable it for "other forms" Safari Forms.
Go to Utilities-> Launch keychain access & under KeychainAccess on the menu drop down, see keychain "First Aid" run repair.
Let me know if that helps any.

  • Mac constantly says keychain not found

My Mac constantly brings up a message telling me the keychain is not found. I just click cancel but it is an annoyance. I tried to reset my default keychain in the Keychain Access program but it brings up a UNIX (Invalid Argument) message. Any ideas?

There are several possible causes for this issue. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, testing after each one, until it's resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
    Step 1
Follow the directions in this support article.
    Step 2
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the iCloud keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password.
    Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
    Step 3
Open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the Keychain box. You'll be prompted to delete the local iCloud keychain. Confirm. Then re-check the box. Follow one of the procedures described in this support article to set up iCloud Keychain on an additional device.
    Step 4
Open the Keychains folder as in Step 1. There should be a file in that folder with the name "login.keychain". If there is also a file iwith the name "login_renamed_1.keychain", then please do as follows:
    ☞ Rename login.keychain to "login-old.keychain".
    ☞ Rename login_renamed_1.keychain to "login.keychain".
You can then close the folder.
Delete the login keychain from the keychain list in Keychain Access. Choose Delete References when prompted, not Delete References & Files.
    Select
              File ▹ Add Keychain...
from the menu bar. Add back the file now named "login.keychain". If any of your needed keychain items are missing from it, also add back the file now named "login-old.keychain". I suggest you transfer any needed items from that keychain to the login keychain, then delete it. The transfers are made by drag-and-drop in Keychain Access. You'll need to enter your password for each item transferred.
Run Keychain First Aid again. Quit Keychain Access.

  • Login Keychain not working after recent Leopard update

Hi, I've been out of town for the last few weeks and upon returning, I pulled down the most recent updates. Since then, I'm being prompted to enter my keychain password every time I need to access an application. The issue is that when I type my password in, the system is telling me that the password is inaccurate and I am 100% certain that I am typing the correct password in. I ran the Keychain Access "Verify" and then "Repair" and I get the following result. What should I do next?
    Repair started
Checking keychain configuration for Administrator (user ID=501)
    Home directory is /Users/admin
    Checked login keychain
    Checked password for ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain

Login password could not be synchronized with keychain ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain (-128)
Unable to read settings for ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain
    Checked default keychain
    Checked keychain search list
    Checked contents of ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain
    Checked contents of ~/Library/Keychains/admin.keychain
Warning: some problems were not fixed
    Repair failed
    Thanks in advance!

After using Leopard for awhile, I think the "Login" keychain, is the same as your login password, and Leopard asks you over and over again for your "Login" keychain password and I kept putting in my keychain password which was wrong, I finally put in my standard login and it accepted that password. I have no idea why, but I am glad someone else had the same problem....I thought Leopard only hated me!

  • Login keychain not storing iChat password since new Logic board

A few weeks ago I had to take my MacBook Pro in for repair (the graphics chip died). At any rate, they fixed the issue by replacing the logic board. Now, however, it seems to have screwed up my login keychain.
Whenever I open iChat now I'm prompted for my AIM password. Even though I ask for it to be stored and remembered by keychain it is not. I have tried repairing the keychain, creating a new one, deleting/re-installing iChat, and even trying a brand new user account all to no avail.
So what gives? Has the new logic board permanently screwed up some settings on my MBP? Is there anything else I can try?
    Thanks

I already re-installed iChat by running the Optional Installs.mpkg from the SL disc. Is this why you were suggesting I use Pacifist or can it repair the code signature you speak of?
no. I wasn't sure if optional installs offers ichat as an option. if it does you can use that instead of pacifists. it should work just as well. but make sure you reapply 10.6.2 combo update afterward.
What about me not being able to edit and save changes to my keychain items. Doesn't this imply a problem with Keychain?
do you mean you have problems with other keychain items beside ichat? on all accounts?
BTW, you marked my post solved. you shouldn't do that until and unless your problem is actually resolved. this tells other posters that your issue is fixed and disinvites further responses.
I dunno, the whole situation is strange. I have Google Notifier installed on my MBP and it was able to save its password to Keychain just fine.

I used to go to gmail all the time. Now it says "Not Found" whenever I go to gmail. Is there a reason for this and is there a way I can access gmail again?

You've been really helpful and I did what you said, but I'm still having a problem. I click on "tools", then click on "Add-ons", and when the box opens I click on "extensions". This is the problem" In the "Add-on" box under "extensions", it says "'''Microsoft.NET Framework Assistant''' 1.0. Adds ClickOnce support and the ability to report installed .NET versions to the web server. '''Not compatible with Firefox 3.6.3.'''" And underneath there are 3 boxes to click on: "options", "enable", and "uninstall". But it won't let me click on any of them. Also, the first thing before the text I just copied, is a red explanation point. This is the only thing that comes up under "Extensions". Any ideas? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks

  • Login Module not found by ClassLoader

I tried to add my own LoginModule to the login modules stack, but i get the following exception from the classloader when it is supposed to be used:
Exception com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseSecurityException: Cannot load a login module.

What exactly has to be described under the config property "Security Provider->Properties->LoginModuleClassLoaders" ?
Any help would be very kind!
    Marius

    Hi,
I see that this is an old post but I just had the same problem and maybe it helps someone else who is facing the same problem too.
I also found the error in the trace file stating that my custom login module class could not be loaded and I realized that my JAR-File was not contained in the SDA file as it should after Creating the archive although I added a reference in the provider.xml file.
Everything was just as described under help.sap.com.
My custom class is in a package called de.test.... so I browsed to the general Tab of the provider.xml and changed the provider from sap.com to de.test
After exporting again the JAR was finally contained in the sda and after deployment to the j2ee and restart of the engine the class could finally be loaded!
Note that when changing the vendor to de.test the name of the library also changes to de.test~MyLoginModuleClass or whatever the Class is called. This name has to be registered in the Config Toll (Global Server Config > services > security > LoginModuleClassLoaders)

You can check for the exact name of your deployed library in the Visual Admin by choosing Server > Libraries > YourLibraryDisplayName or Server > Services > Class Loader Viewer > Libraries)

What to do with this mistake?

    Hi Jason,
I'm afraid you'll indeed have to re-image the device.
You'll need to mount the DMM 5.3 DVD/ISO via the CIMC KVM then reboot the device to launch the install process.
In case you don't have the DVD, open a TAC case to have the ISO published for you as it is not publicly available.
