Login name - Sun Ray user name

I have to write a program for the Sun Ray server (Solaris 10), which controls the mounted USB sticks. For this I need to get for a users login name the corresponding Sun Ray user name (utku[1-n]) or vice versa. Is this possible?
Regards
Roland

Thank you for answering.
It's a web-application (JSP) in which the user should be able to copy files from/to his mounted USB stick in a controlled manner. So I now the users login name and have to get the corresponding /tmp/SUNWut/mnt/utku[n] directory.

All Im very new to Oracle DRM and Im trying to get the app setup on Windows server running SQL Server 2008.  When I try to login to the Web Client I keep getting this error.
DRM-61026: Unable to create user session for the following reason: Login failed. Invalid user name or password.
    Can you please help

This might be due to The 'Oracle Instance' path may not have been set to a path relative to the 'CSS Bridge Host' (i.e. the Foundation Services machine) on the Configuration > Host Machines > CSS > General tab of the DRM Configuration Utility.
if this is the case then
    1. Open the DRM Configuration Console.
    2. Go to the Configuration > Host Machines > CSS > General tab of the DRM Configuration Utility.
    3. Ensure that the path in 'Oracle Instance' has been set relative to the 'CSS Bridge Host' (i.e. the Foundation Services machine defined in 'CSS Bridge Host').
    4. If corrections are made to 'Oracle Instance' then restart the DRM services to pick up the change.

  • I just updated my MacBook pro early 2011 model to OSX 10.9 and was forced to create a new user(administrator) and ended up with a different configuration. If I login with my original user name everything is back. How can I get rid of the other user name?

I have two user names with Administrator privelages and my MacBook keeps booting up to the wrong one and I have the wrong configuration since I updated to OSX 10.9. I would like to get back to my original User name which I used to boot up to. When I go to the User Groups and Preferences it doesn't allow me to delete the un-wanted user.
Does anybody have any suggestions how I can fix this? I can't seem to recover Time Capsule back-ups prior to the OSX upgrade even though I have been faithfully backing up to a Time Machine.
    Help please.

First of all, open System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options, and set your old user account in "Automatic login". By doing this, your computer will always log in with your old account.
Then, log in your old account, where you will be able to delete the new user that OS X Mavericks forced you to create. Other users have reported the same problem

  • I had a name for my user name not an email address and now I cannot get access to my itunes account

I had a simple user name through the itunes store. It was just a name not an email address, now when I sign in it sends me to an old itunes account which does not recognize purchases that I have made over  the last 5 years.
Any clue as to how I can access my old account again? I tried asking the system to send me a password with my username (which is not an email address) and have yet to see an email that was on flie with that address.
    Any help would be appreciated

  • How do I change the name of my "User" name?

I bought a used Macbook Pro. I hate my Home User name and can't figure out how to change it. Let me explain. When looking at the finder window at the botom it gives a path "Macintosh HD > Users > Abc123".
How can I change "Abc123" to a name I like?
    Using Leopard 10.5.8

I tried it and it sort of worked but didn't do what I needed. I am trying to change the name of the home folder but keep all its settings, desktop, etc. When I used the Advanced area and changed the path name and did a restart it gave me a fresh desktop like a new computer. All my settings were wrong, etc. I guess it did the same thing as if I had created a new account name but what I want to do is just change the path name. I guess if I do that it would screw up all my file paths since they probably would not automatically update to the new path name, huh?

  • When I start FireFox the process with the image name System and user name System (looking in Task Manager) starts taking tremendous CPU time (up to 50% or more).

I am using FireFox 4.0.1 for Windows, and routinely check for updates. It did not do this under previous versions (not sure it is was specific to 4.0.1 or with started with 4.0) I have watched the CPU utilization when starting other applications including Thunderbird, and the high utilization by this process so far seems tied to whenever I start up the newer version of FireFox.

    Hi,
I created an EUL with all privileges it needed. I created a business area from that EUL and shared it to Application User name through giving access privileges (from Security and Privileges). • Ascontrol - prevent pre-population of User Name field?

    OAS 10.1.3.3.0
Is it possible to configure ascontrol to not pre-populate the User Name field?
Our security audit has raised this as an issue. When we go to http://server:7777/em the login page already has User Name set to "oc4jadmin". We'd like to configure this to be blank, so that the username and password have to be entered.
    I've looked at the HTML coming back from the server and it's hardcoded in;
    input id="username" class="x4" onkeypress="return _submitOnEnter(event, 'loginForm');" name="j_username" size="30" type="text" value="oc4jadmin"Thanks.

If you know where the orighinal html/jsp is, you can modify it adding autocomplete="off"+ like this:
    input id="username" class="x4" onkeypress="return _submitOnEnter(event, 'loginForm');"
name="j_username" size="30" type="text" value="oc4jadmin" autocomplete="off"If the input is prepopulated from browser, this should solve the issue.
    Regards,
    Dima.

  • How do you delete user names that were used in the past that I no longer need

When I login on certain accounts user names that I have used in the past come up as choices. I want to delete them, how do I do that.

  • TS4268 FaceTime incorrect user name/password

I have just up dated my iPad 3 and iPhone 4 to ios6
When I try to login i get incorrect user name/password in the same time I can login in my account and download applications with same user name and the same password

Appreciate the links Tom, however none of these helps, I'll explain the issue exactly (should have done that in my first post):
The Facetime and iMessage credentials are valid and work just fine on the Mac, they don't work for some reason on the iPhone and the iPad and this only started happening after upgrading to iOS 6.
I did some digging and found that it was an issue already for some since iOS 6 beta 4 and found many threads online with users facing the same problem.
It seems that for some reason, a "glitch" occured during the upgrade and even restoring the device as new and starting from scratch doesn't help. After having received my other iPhone, I tried, and the issue remains.
I contacted Apple Care and they're on the case from what I've been told but haven't been able to pinpoint the exact cause yet.
I'll post back once I have an update.
    Cheers,
    Farès

  • User name sent to my email address, but never arrives. Has Firefox been hacked and user info being sent to the wrong people?

Had some issues with Firefox 35.0.1 trying to post on this forum. Fox would not accept my login, so I requested to reset my password. Password reset O.K. still a no go, thought my login was bad and requested them send my "User name" (same email) User name never arrives. I had to create a new account on the forum to post this question as I can't get my old login to work.
Anyone else having this problem or has Firefox been hacked and my "User Name" sent to someone else?

    Hi maheman,
Can you try to recover the password with the email and private message me a timestamp. I can ask an admin to take a look at the technical side of what is happening, the email is removed from the public thread, however it may be necessary to investigate. (please include just the username in the private message)
    Thank you.

Apps are only tied to one account... You can set up two iTunes accounts on your computer, however, and let his iPad sync to his account. If he has never backed up his apps to a computer, however, he will have to redownload all the apps. Afterwards, he can backup to iCloud instead of your computer.
