Login page message for all login screens

Hi - were looking at opening up APEX in our organisation and expect that we may get 10's if not hundres of workspaces running (everyone doing their own thing). In order to control this we want to have a general set of Terms and conditions on the login front page. Does anyone know how the generic login can be modified to do this across all workspaces - alternatively we could use the password change screen also if that was possible.

Nigel,
Use the Site Administration page at Home>Manage Service>Messages and put a custom message there. This message will appear on the workspace login page.

I have setup notes webmail in portal which uses SSO. I login to portal and click the webmail link which opens the sso page for authentication(Cuz I have integrated the webmail to use SSO). I enter my username and password. Then it shows my emails, inbox..etc. I logout of portal, Go to Notes client on my PC and change my webmail password there. I go back to portal and log in and click the webmail link on the portal. Cuz I have changed the webmail password, I expected that it will open the SSO page and ask me to enter the password again. It didn't happen. Instead of opening eh SSO login page, It opens the Webmail login page with an error saying "Invalid User Name or Password". I am wondering why it opens the webamil login page instead the sso login page. I can still login to webmail If I enter the user name and new password. But it doesn't update the webmail password which is stored in the SSO. Please post a reply if you have some idea about fixing this.

Turn off status messages for all queries in RSRT

Hi Gurus,
I got some help on this issue in a previous question, but I ended up having to fix more queries than I expected.
Is there a way to turn off the messages for all queries in the system through transaction RSRT? Right now I'm doing it one query at a time.

Go to Transaction RSRT, then enter SUPPR_ALL in the tcode box again and hit enter. This brings up the maintain messages screen and it suppress the messages globally

I have a requirement for changing the Page Title for all the report displayed pages on the browser window.

As far as I know, answer is NO.

for 1210326 's requirements there are some places for changes of property "title" and in some pages "title" can be different
"one place or option for changing" does not exist imho ( may be i'm wrong )
so you can change places for your needs but not sure what it's adequate
as example

How to show a single error message for all fields

Hi
I have a JSF from containing around 10 controls(input, select etc.) .
Now I need to display an error message in case any of the mandatory control has validation error.
Message format would be like
"*Please,Complete the fields marked with yellow!"* The message I need to show in a div tag with Yelow background.
Currently, I am getting individual default error message in case validation fails and related field is bordered with Yellow.
My code is below.

Now my Query

Thanks for your response.
The FM returns the error messages if they are standard ones. For example, if the posting period is closed - the FM will not allow the Workflow to proceed further.
But in this case, I have a custom error - for a particular Profit center, Cost center and I/O fields are mandatory(not at time of parking, but should be filled before posting).
Since this is not a standard error, this FM will not stop workflow from proceeding further. How can I have the custom error captured in this FM?

Mail messages disappear - just a blank mail message for all emails.
This happens sporadically since I upgraded to Yosemite 10.10.2.
It happens on all of my machines (Macbook Air, + iMacs) so it must be a software bug.
Is there an update coming through for Mail?

Back up all data. Rebuild the mailbox.

Add Digital Signature to outgoing messages for all exchange users

Is it possible to add digital signature to outgoing messages for all exchange users? Currently we have add digital signature individually using Outlook.

Update to my question:
Can we use our internal CA to publish certificates. We only want digital signed emails for internal users.

TB 27.0.1 (W7) will not "get new messages for all accounts"

I installed W7 with IE11and downloaded the latest TB (27.0.1) I have added five email accounts (more to be added) and none of them show up in the left pane - only global Inbox and two folders I created. I can get new messages manually one account at a time, but "get new messages for all accounts" (or Shift F5) does nothing. Most of this happed after MS installed well over 100 updates to my W7, but some of my accounts never did show up in the left pane even before the W7 updates. I have reinstalled TB - nothing changes.

The crux of the matter has been resolved by checking the “Include this server when getting new mail” box in each account’s “Advanced” box under “Server Settings.” Now every time TB checks for new mail (including on startup), the process is displayed in the lower left portion of the window. I wish this had been explained to me more clearly early on.
Having all accounts in the left pane has become unimportant now that I can see the mail being checked on startup, periodically, and on Shift F5.
I consider this thread closed.

Set page title for all pages

Can I set page title for all pages in project, by using filter or something else? Or the only way is to specify the name in each page?

Might be possible with filters, but that would be a rather expensive task. Just create an include file which you include in all pages. This way you also have a single point of maintenance.

Login Page coming for Anonymous User

Hi All,
we have configured anonymous user for our portal. Created a role for anonymous access - added pages and iViews under that. All the iViews and pages are modified with authentication scheme property to Anonymous.
Now when we access the portal with the url http://host:port/irj its showing the login box in the top part of the page and in the bottom part its showing the anonymous role which we created.
Let me tell you what we have done...
Created role, iViews for Anonymous role, set the authentication property to 'Anonymous'.
In Visual Admin-> Server-> Services-> UME Provider set the variable ume.login.anonymous_user.mode to 1.
Variable ume.login.basicauthentication to 1.
Variable ume.login.guest_user.uniqueids to Guest.
Then we have updated the index.html file under <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\<instance_number>\j2ee\cluster\serverX\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root .. we changed
<b><body onload="location.replace('portal' + document.location.search)"></body></b>
to <b><body onload="location.replace('servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.anonymous' + document.location.search)"></body></b>
But now when a guest user accesses the portal http://host:port/irj it gived the strange screen (logon + content page) as I described earlier.
Please let us know where are we missing...

1 . I have created a iView and set the authentication scheme anonymous.
2. Also I created a role and added the iview to a role.
3. The role has only 1 iview. The entry pt is yes for the iview
4. The role has permissions of end user for anonymous user.
5 I checked the masthead iview also.. It aslo has authentication scheme anonymous
When I try accessing the iView in the form <http/https>://<server>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fmyfolder!2fmyiView
I am able to view it without any login..
But when the url is accessed <http/https>://<server>:<port>/irj/portal/anonymous
I see a login page in the Detailed navigation..
Please help me solve this problem ..

Yahoo login page incorrect for sub accounts but not admin account.

Using: Windows Vista OS and Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1.
BT Yahoo has a login page that allows the user to create a seal on the login page to help identify a valid website.
I am th main account/admin and I have no issues; everything looks good and correct.
My husband has a sub account, but there is no seal showing nor is there a clickable facility to create a seal.
This occured immediately after upgrading to Firefox 4 and unstalling and reinstalling did nothing. Had no issues prior to upgrade.
Appreciate any helpful suggestions.

Any ideas regarding the weirdness of why my computer with a main account and a sub account with only one version of Firefox 4.0.1 manages to view the login page of Yahoo completely differently?

Idea of sending a message for all connected users.

I'm trying to develop through oracle forms an idea of sending a pop-up message to all connected users.
Example, I need to inform users to quit in 5 minutes due to a restart to the application server.
I thought about a timer trigger that will check every 5 seconds or 10 seconds a value somewhere in a table. But I don't want to use the timer triggers associated in oracle forms.
Is there any idea ?

For this:

Third party system login page instead of apex login page

Hello,
One of my customers wants to login into an apex application using their intranet page. This page has two text fields:
username and
password
and a login button.
There is no validation done at their side. The goal is to pass this information to apex and apex needs to check if this information is correct (checking against own user tables) and let the user into the application or refuse an access. I am thinking about the best way to do that. Is there anyone out there with some similar experience?

Have a look SOLVED: Automatic Login but only if a user is an Oracle User
Well I effectively do this with our Java application calling an APEX reporting application.
The trick is to get apex to automatically submit the login page without the user having to pressing the login button.
Once this works, the rest is fairly straightforward.
Effectively what happens is our java application calls a procedure which populates a table with
a username, encrypted password and a checkvalue (randomly generated), and returns the checkvalue to the calling procedure.
We also have the bones of the URL in a properties file.
The login page reads the value of the checkvalue from the URL in teh html header using various bits of javascript.
We have a before header process on the apex login page which reads the information from the table
table (and deletes it as soon as it reads it).
It then uses the username, and password obtained from the table and just passes these values to the wwv_flow_custom_auth_std.login procedure.
I can email you the code if you want.

Message for all Users at Logon

Forcing a 10 minute video on anyone at logon is asking for trouble.
10 minutes is a long time to wait before starting work too. Productivity = shot.

Our CEO is starting a "Company Status Talk" where every quarter, he records a message of about 10 minutes in length for all employees to listen to that gives us all some information about the status of the company. We just did the first one last week and I used GoToWebinar for it since we already pay for that service. He just wanted something that could be recorded and played back for users at a later time. I created the webinar but didn't invite anyone to it. He did his speech (which just showed a PowerPoint slide on his desktop), recorded it using the GoToWebinar console and then uploaded the recording to GoToWebinar's website. I was then able to get a link which we could send out to all employees. They then had to put in their name and e-mail address to view the recording so that we could see who actually took the time to watch. ...
