  • Custom screen lisbox and button

Hello Friends.  How to add a custom screen field lisbox and a button to an existing sales order header view. The listbox is a screen field (not a CUSTOMERH field).  What are the steps besides copying the view .Please suggest.

I do not know the answer about existing JSF components, but here is something that might work for you
Drop a Grid Panel component where you want the text field and button.
Set the columns property to 2.
Drop a Text Field Component in the Grid Panel. Then Drop a Button component. If they don't drop in the right order, use the Outline window to rearrange.
Try setting the width (setColumns) of the Text Field component in the prerender method. The button should nicely sit to the right, and you should not have overlap.
    Hope this helps,

  • Problems with Login screen freeze and Bootcamp

Since installing Lion my MacbookPro very often freezes when i start it..When it reaches the login screen it just does nothing when i enter the Password......
In addition to that It takes a very long time when i try to boot under Windows....I press alt during the booting and before lion the partitions showed up very quickly...now it takes ages to do that....
    Comeon Apple, fix this!

    Meg,
I sent it to my exchange family in Chile. It was packaged so well, tons of bubble wrap, it couldn't have been damaged.
I worked for a professional camera company in Chicago. Our test for how well a sensitive camera part was packed was to take it to the 3rd floor and toss it out the window. Now that sounds rather radical but I've seen packages drop off the loading belt of a 747 straight down to the tarmac. The midline of that plane is about 31'. So once you see that happen our test was not so unreasonable.
I made sure the post office knew it was fragile, etc...
Well not to be cynical but those machines that do handling can be pretty uncaring.
I sent it to my exchange family in Chile.
I've tried to send a lot of cameras and parts to Uruguay. Only about half make it, the rest disappear.
They got the computer, plugged it in, and now they say the screen is acting all weird, turning different colors and freezing from time to time.
So that sounds like the BGA detachment problem. They could try the shim repair. It's easy to do on the G3 since the the GPU is on the bottom.
A reball is $79 here in the States plus shipping.
There's also the possibility that the chip itself has failed. The ATI Radeon Mobility 9200 had a known failure rate in Dells, Sonys, IBMs etc.
It the shim repair fixes the problem it can work for a long time.

  • When my IMac awakes from sleep mode, the password login screen freezes and no cursor appears.

Hello!  When my IMac awakens from sleep mode, my log in screen is frozen (I can't type anything) and there is no cursor.
I can turn the computer off and on again and then I have an active log in screen, but if I walk away from the computer and it goes into sleep mode and i have the same problem trying to bring it back from sleep mode.
    Thoughts?

    Hey Kristogirl,
I understand that when waking from sleep mode, your iMac freezes. Try executing these two troubleshooting steps:
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964
OS X Mountain Lion: Reset your computer’s PRAM
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11243
If neither of those help the issue, I would follow the steps in the next article, specifically the "If the issue occurs in various applications, or in Mac OS X" section:
Mac OS X: How to troubleshoot a software issue
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1199

  • Yosemite installed on iMac purchased with Mavericks now takes 2 minutes to boot and give the login screen.

Downloaded and installed os x yosemite on iMac that was purchased originally with Mavericks. When power button is pressed I get start up audio tone and then the the black screen with the white apple symbol with the progression bar. The bar moves very slowly two about one third and then the mouse cursor appears and there it stalls for around two minutes. After the wait the login screen appears and it operates normally. This whole process before update would only take maybe 30 seconds.
If I try the web recovery process it will revert back to Mavericks any suggestions on what this might be. I do have an external Mac passport pro external drive that does have time machine enabled and has been there for months.
    Thanks

After spending a number of hours with Apple Care personnel I was connected with a supervisor and finally got the iMac to boot up on every attempt and in a reasonable amount of time. Login screen now comes on in 30 to 40 seconds and computer is usable within a total time of 1 minute to 1minute 30 seconds.
Here was the process. Tried to download whole operating system with reinstall from utilities menu at power on and at 7 hours progress bar stalled at one third the way. Reason, time machine external hard drive was still connected during process. Disconnected all external connections except power and tried download again. This time whole operating system downloaded in 15 to 20 minutes. Yosemite installed and rebooted automatically and booted to login screen, signed in then to desktop, but boot took around five minutes. Shutdown and connected all peripherals, i.e.. ext. HD, DVD, printers and tried to start. iMac stalled at 2 minutes into progression bar with white apple symbol before login screen. Removed peripherals and tried again and still stalled and would not boot.
What was done to correct is as follows. Started iMac in Safe Mode, cleared all items in cache from Macintosh HD/Library folder and System /Library folder, system start up items, launch agents, and launch daemons contents cleared, removed printers in system preferences, ran disk utilities verify and repair of disk and disk permissions. Shutdown and removed power from iMac. With no peripherals system then booted normally. Reconnected peripherals while iMac was still on and added printers back to system preferences and all is well.
So it seems only reasonable that the downloading problem was hindered by the time machine external hard drive, to which an Apple rep. agreed and the extremely slow boot up or stalled boot up was caused by items in the start up and launch folders. I will state here that I was using my ISP's anti virus software for the Mac which was in the launch folders and most likely was causing the boot up problems.

  • Login Screen freezes after Lion 10.7.2 upgrade - needs 3 hard reboots

Just upgraded my 21.5" late 2009 iMac to OS X Lion 10.7.2.
    0. Power up from cold start: login screen appears, and mouse works, but clicking on users does not bring up the password box.  No option except for hard reboot.
    1. Hold down power button until it shuts down.  Power up, still no respponse (see 0.).
    2. Hold down power button until it shuts down.  Power up, still no respponse (see 0.).
    3. Hold down power button until it shuts down.  Power up, responds normally, can login (or start computing if login screen is bypassed).
I saw messages (mostly for MacBook Pros) dating back to July/August 2011 with similar problems.  But none for 10.7.2, and none where it consistently takes 3 hard reboots to get a response.  I tried all of the suggestions that applied: SMC reset, repair disk permissions, change password, bypass login screen. If I use automatic login, it boots up into my desktop and all the services seem to start.  The mouse works, but nothing responds when I click on it (see 0.).
    Any ideas?
    thanks,
    david

Thanks lynque.  It turns out I did need a keychain repair, but that didn't fix the problem.  I probably should have done this earlier, but I ended up unplugging all peripherals (2 firewire + 3 USB) then powered up without issue.
So I shut down, plugged in one at a time, and ran into the problem again after plugging in an external hard drive (WD My Book Essential).  I repaired with disk utility, but the problem remained.
I then rebuilt the partitions with Disk Warrior, and now everything seems to work....

  • Workspace Credential Conflict between Logged-in User and the Authenticated User

    Hi there,
I am running LiveCycle ES Update1 SP2 with Process Management component on WIN/JBoss/SQL Server 2005.
I have been encountering user credential conflicts from time to time, but it has not been consistent and the problem manifested in various ways, such as:
    - problem when logging in with error "An error occurred retrieving tasks." on the login screen
    - user logs in successfully but is showing somebody else queue(s) with his/her own queue with no task in there
    - fails to claim task from group queue.
The stacktrace from the server.log file I collected from a production system shows the exception below.
Has anybody else encountered the similar problem?
It looks to me that it doesn't log out cleanly and some kind of caching is done on the authenticated session and is not cleaned up properly on user logout.

  • Looped Login Screen

I had Yosemite but found out it doesn't support After Effects and others apps so I tried to reistall 10.6.8 from Time Machine. I keep being directed to the blue login screen over and over again. Each time I enter my login correctly, but each time it redirects me to the blue login screen. I can boot up in safe mode and tool around no problem. How do I fix this?

    Greetings monkeytoesfilm,
Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.
If you only see a blue screen after reverting to OS X 10.6.8 with Time Machine, but Safe Mode works normally, try these troubleshooting steps next:
Mac OS X 10.6: If you see a blue screen at startup
If you see the login window prompting you for a user name and password, but starting up doesn't progress, you may have incompatible login items.
    Eliminating incompatible login items
Repair your startup disk or disk permissions by starting up from your Mac OS X installation disc and using Disk Utility.
    Repairing a disk
Back up your disk and then reinstall Mac OS X by starting up your computer with your Mac OS X installation disc.
    Reinstalling Mac OS X
    Sincerely,
    Jeremy

  • Dashboard - login screen before all pods

    hi
I am using Flex Dashboard framework consisting of pods for my
application. My requirement is to provide user a login screen which
will authenticate user credentials. Once the credentials are
validated then login click should allow the user to go inside the
    application.
Since the application is developed using dashboard pods so I
need to know how will I integrate the login screen with pod
framework. User should be presented with the login screen first and
after validate credentials all the pods should be visible.
This is very urgent for me can you please let me know, how
can I achieve the above requirement using POD framework

  • How to disable Login Screen in SRM

    Hi All,
Client has enabled SSO in their system and SRM is part of it. Hence they are not directed to SRM login page.
But for certain cases and unknown reasons, the login page appears. So they want to diable the login screen page and display error text instead.
I tried to modify the template BBPGLOBAL - Login, but is not successful. Even if I comment out the whole code in the template, the screen is displayed.
Is this something to do with ITS ?

  • Login screen alterations.

I recently found out you can create custom login screen pictures and remove the apple logo and so on.
A part I also loved was the login message. I was wondering if anyone knew how to alter it so it could be made larger, text change and have new line capabilities (rather than having to space bar of to the end?)
    Thanks.

After installing minisap version (NWABAPTRIAL70209_64) can not log in with no user ... In the login screen, users are not being presented as in previous versions.
What may be happening? the installation is corrupted?
    Thank you!

    Hi,
Did you get a step during SAPInst where master password was asked for? Should be step 14 of the installation.
Use SAP* or DDIC user along with this pasword to logon to the system. Then change the password for BCUSER via SU01 tcode.

  • [SOLVED] GDM / GNOME crashes on login screen after standby

Brand new Arch installation on a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 10. Most of the stuff works out of the box (except touchscreen https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1478128).
Using plain vanilla GNOME + GDM things seem ok, but once every few times upon returning from standby the login screen crashes and just freezes on the password screen. Nothing can be done (except for jumping to another vt) and a reboot is required.
If I SSH into the machine during this period, nothing suspicious shows up on journalctl.
    Any ideas what's going on?

Since I'm also getting some random freezes even when not in the login screen, I'm now suspecting a graphics driver problem.
Now testing UXA mode, per the Intel Graphics wiki page, hoping it will solve the freezes.
EDIT: UXA mode seems to have fixed the problem.

The user had the program open earlier today. But now, she can't open the program and gets prompted with the login screen. I don't want her to login as it mentions the "trial version" of the software. We have a paid subscription.
The application opens successfully on other work stations.
