Login Trouble

HI,
I am using XI. When i am trying to logon to Integration Repository, its saying "No Authoraization for this Action", i logged in SUPER USER which got all permissions i think.
I logged in As other user to Integration Repository and tried to Import Software Component, then its saying "No Authoraization to Import the Object 'External Software Component 1.1'
What might be the trouble.? Suggest me the solution.

Can you just see if you have followed the following teps while creating the user.
This is a detailed step by step procedure for creating a user:
- On your SAP Web AS host, create the user below with at least the following parameters (transaction SU01).
User : XISUPER
Last name (Tab: Address) : <your_name>, for example XI Super
Password / User Type (Tab: Logon Data) : <init_password> / Dialog

Role (Tab: Role) :
AP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC
SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR
SAP_XI_CONFIGURATOR SAP_XI_CONTENT_ORGANIZER
SAP_XI_DEVELOPER SAP_XI_MONITOR
The SAP_XI* roles are composite roles
- Save, and exit SU01
- You must now log on to the Integration server host with the user XISUPER, to switch the initial password to a valid password.
- You must restart the J2EE engine to transfer the user creation to the J2EE

Imac 266- getting past login trouble

OK so I found this Imac on the side of the road. To my surprise when I got it home it boots right up. It appears to be from a college and a sticker on it says login 9 Password 9.
Silly me I believed the sticker and went ahead and bought a keyboard for it. Keyboard is brand new made for OS X. Anyway the password doesn't work so I'm still stuck at the login screen. My only option that doesn't require a password is to shut down.
Since I don't have another mac or mac software I decided the easiest way to go is to download a copy of yellowdog Linux and go with that and keep my investment low. After all, I just want this thing for my kids to mess around with. Its a handy package. I attempted to boot to the YD CD by holding down the C key but no dice.
The CD drive appears to be working as it sounds like it accesses the CD while booting but still boots to the HD. I looked up some of the boot commands and tried them to force it to boot from CD but no love. One site I visited posited that tray loading Imacs cannot boot from CDRs. This seems to be the case but I further could not get it to boot to anything other than the HD despite any of the keyboard boot commands I tried. I could get it to boot without extensions but that got me no further than the log in screen.
I'm now assuming that that it cannot boot from a CD-R and went ahead and ordered an original 9.1 install disk from new world computing.
Now between the keyboard ($30) and the OS ($40) I am now into this "free" machine for $70 and there are nicer ones available online for $100 shipped.
OK enough babbling on to my questions:
Is it possible that the new keyboard is not entirely compatible explaining why I can't seem to do much with boot commands?
Can anyone confirm that tray loading Imacs cannot boot from CDRs? I'm really afraid that the OS9 disk is going to arrive just to find out that the problem was a faulty CDROM all along...
I'm really inexperienced with macs- Is there something obvious I'm overlooking in trying to get this thing going?

The disk arrived today and I was actually able to boot with the cd and delete some extensions/files so that I could boot directly into OS 8.x.
Installation of 9 required a firmware update that went without a hitch. Now that I've gotten 9.1 in I'm having terrible trouble getting it to update to 9.21. Everytime I try it gives me an error 127.
I looked up this error and it seems that initializing the disk with a fresh install should solve the problem but it doesnt. Disk Utility says the disk is good.
This error comes when I try to install the north american English update. Is it possible the disk I have was international and this is causing the error? The only other thing I can think of is a bad ram chip - but I only get an error on this one update- everything els has been smooth. Any suggestions appreciated

Login troubles

well installation went fine and i fallowed all instructions. Come time to login i used the name i gave durning installation which as far as i know just asked for a host name, no real user name. and the password i had to type in twice. At login it fails. Any ideas what i should use to login or how i set up a user name and password as i havent been able to log in.

The installation process does not create a user, other than "root".
Your hostname is the machine name, not a user.
Log in as root, using the root password you provided during the installation.
You will then be able to create as many additional users as you wish.

Automatic Login Trouble and Short Name Trouble

Hello everyone,
I just got a fresh install of Leopard going on my Macbook (wiped the hard drive during installation instead of just upgrading the OS), but I'm running into a brick wall (two of them, actually).
First off, for some reason, my Macbook refuses to automatically login. I know this is a good thing in terms of security, but I would really like it to login automatically to save time.
I also made an error in spelling for my computer's home short name, so it is now sitting here with a capitalization problem. I tried to to change the name through Advanced Options in the Accounts section of the System Preferences, but for some reason, the capitalization won't change. I know that's a pretty minor problem, but I'd still like to fix it.
Any help that could be sent my way would be deeply appreciated.

If the short name is a problem, reinstall. Changing this name is a nightmare, usually.

This will help if you want to try it, but it might fail, or screw things up.
Trashing "com.apple.loginwindow.plist", you may cure the login problem. It's in your User/Library/Preference folder.
Did you Migrate anything? If yes, re-migrate from your backup (You have one, right?).

Console login trouble with Crystal Reports Server XI

I installed Crystal Reports Server XI on a new box (replacing old), then applied SP1, and then SP2 bringing it up to the same level as the old box - Version Name: BOXIWIN_SP2 Build Number: 11.0.101.8004.
However, when I restarted the server and logged into Windows, I received the error "CRSXI_MLB_Autorun.exe encountered a problem and needed to close." Although, all the services are running in Central Configuration Manager, I am unable to login to the Central Management Console with the default "Administrator" account (the screen just blanks the User Name: Administrator" field when I click "Log On".
The new server is running Win2003 R2 Enterprise Edition SP2. Old server is running Win2003 Standard Edition SP2. I am using the same install media as was used on the old server, though installation on the old server was done before W2K3 SP2 was installed. Could it be W2K3 SP2, or perhaps the use or R2 or Enterprise Edition? Any thoughts on how to fix this so I can login to CMC?

XIR1 used to have issues with Microsoft DEP, I don't recall exactly but you can set DEP to windows services only from my computer > properties > data execution prevention.
Also when logging in try changing the URL to (local host on the server, the IP address, or the FQDN) see if that helps. When there is no error the problem is likely not the CMS but could be in the web/app.
I don't think anything that was installed should be starting a file called "CRSXI_MLB_Autorun.exe" Could that have gotten added to the windows run registry key or startup group by accident?
Also if you login to a client tool like crystal reports, business views with administrator what error do you receive?

NAC Agent Login Trouble

I'm a student at Georgia Southern University. I use a Lenovo X200 Tablet with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Up until last week I had no trouble with NAC agent logging into my university's network. Since last monday or so, when I log in it says I have to update current windows, but Windows is totally up to date, including optional updates, everything but language packs.
I've tried system restore, I've tried fixing registry issues, I've scanned for viruses, Re-updated windows, and reinstalled NAC agent. Nothing seems to work, it just won't recognize I'm up to date. I took it to my IT department (resnet), and they didn't help at all.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Sorry for the late reply. Can you ask your university IT folks, as to what the failure report shows for your PC in their CCA reports section? The key thing to look for is whether it's a particular update that CCA is hanging up on or not.

Login Trouble with Mobile AIM

I am using a Blackberry Curve 8330. Today when I tried to login mobile AOL Instant Messenger I received the following message: "The maximum number of logins has been exceeded." It then tried to reconnect after a delay without success. I tried rebooting the BB. I also uninstalled mobile AIM, rebooted, and reinstalled. No luck with either solution. Does anyone have advice?

I would like to inform all people having the same problem logging on to aim on their blackberry....i spoke to technical support at t-mobile and they informed me that aim no longer allows u to be signed on in several different locations....or could just be a mobile phone. If you sign off all locations...sign on your phone....and want to sign in on another computer it will allow you....just not if you are signed on anywhere else.

I'm having the same issue. I've reset my password 4 times and still am unable to login. It give me this error : "Oops! The email or password did not match our records. Please try again."
It is also very hard to find a Support contact on the web site. I shouldn't have to post a message on a forum to get this fixed.

Skype Manager Login Trouble Due To SIP

Hi,
We are trying to log into our existing Skype Manager account, we know our account name and have changed the password but when I try to login I get this message:-
This Skype account is currently attached to a SIP Profile......
And that I should contact our administrator, which we can no longer do.
I've searched inside and outside of the forum to find a solution without success. I'd be delighted if someone can point me in the right direction please?

"Invalid Login" trouble again

From 2pm to 4pm today (central time US) I was unable to logon.
The SSO screen just kept returning "Invalid login" with the same userid/password I've had for 15 years.
This happened on 3 separate platforms, my home desktop (Firefox/Comcast), my iPhone (Safari/AT&T), and my work laptop (IE/company VPN), so I don't think it was a local problem.
Rebooting/clearing the browser cache didn't help and I was able to logon earlier today without any problem.
I reported the same problem a month or so ago. There was never a resolution but the problem seemed to vanish. Well, it's back.

I am having the same problem on my Itouch. I have reset to the manufacture settign and still have the error. I have no free phone counsultation at this time and I am having troouble getting rid of the error. This error shows up when I go to Apple Store or Itunes, and I just can not go online now. Where can I find additional posts to for this situation.

Lion Server WebDav Login troubles

I have a Mac Mini running Lion Sever. I have File sharing enabled and my Group folder has AFP, SMB and WebDav enabled. From my iPad, using Pages I cannot connect to the account on the server. The syntax of the login is;

Authentication, login trouble.

Part my work's domain set up is not behaving normally. This anomaly was noticed on March 11th. My co-worker connects to the network share daily from her Mac via smb:// , but starting the 11th she couldn't anymore. It's similarly true with my other coworkers
who use Mac, and also those that use Windows that are added to the domain. We use various version of OSX (10.7 - 10.10) and Windows 7, 8.
The servers of interest:
Server A: physical machine. Host the network share. Host virtual machines. Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1.
Server B: virtual machine on server A. Domain Controller, and primary DNS. Windows Server 2003 SP2
Server C: virtual machine on server A. DHCP, and secondary DNS. Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1.
Server D: physical machine. Has a network share that uses active directory authentication. Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1.
NAS: physical device. Synology DS415+. Connected to the domain.
I am the primary manager of these machines. I haven't done any configuration changes since the end of February, when I added a new user. These machines are patched up-to-date.
Another problem with Server A is RDP'ing to it. I usually can log in using domain admin account, or .\Administrator (local account), but now have to use SERVER_A\Administrator.
Connecting to the NAS also unable to authenticate against domain accounts; I have yet to find the error logs. I do not know when the NAS started having problem authenticating. The last time I used the NAS was at the end of February.
Interestingly, the network share on Server D works with AD authentication. Other aspects of the domain seems to be working fine.
I've been searching around the internet using these keywords: Event 4625, NULL SID, An Error occured during Logon, 0xc000005e.
I haven't found a solution. My plan is to make a new server similar to Server D, and start a new network share. But the NAS seems unrecoverable.

IPhone form login trouble (@ sign)

Sometimes when i am registering for something via my iPhone or just logging in with an email address, i can't use the @ symbol. I can use every other symbol, and i can even press the @ symbol and it gets larger. But, it never actually puts it into the form. This is very frustrating because it means that i can't log in to certain things. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sites where it doesn't work include at&t and this site (apple.com) so i am pretty sure its not the site. Is there a reason that the @ sign won't work?
By the way, this is only on the internet. Notes or any other feature on the iPhone allows me to put in the symbol just fine.

I don't have a complete solution for you but still have feelers out to give you better guidance. In the meantime I thought I would share what I see, in your HTML code I believe you need to do something like add a pixel width to the body div tag so that anytime the screen is smaller than say 768 pixels the horizontal scroll bars would appear. I don't have your style.css to edit the css to, but I added style="width:600px" to div class="entry-content" (<div class="entry-content" style="width:600px">) and that results in a horizontal scrollbar that works on the iPhone, however the background image ends up behind part of the form so that will have to be played with more to get it working right. I wanted to give you an update and not leave you hanging, hopefully that gives you enough to go on, if not I should have more tomorrow.

System prefs .mac trouble

Kind of wierd....
When I open system prefs and click on the .mac area. My name is right but the password is wrong. When I change the password and hit enter it changes to the correct amount of dots hiding the password. However if I click on advanced or something it instantly changes the password back to whatever and has login troubles. I go back to the window with the username and password and its not the correct password (has way to many letters) as expected.
How can I get it to delete the old (although not created by me) password and hold the new password in this area so it will sync properly. Thanks!

This is a security feature - more dots are shown than text and/or numbers entered for the correct password and doesn't mean your password has been changed.
If this is an existing password, you can't change your .Mac account password from the .Mac System Preferences.
Can you access your .Mac account information via the .Mac website?
