Login with Apple ID has 50+ apps from another Apple ID

My wife and I have separate Apple IDs, separate iPhones but only one computer that we share where iTunes is installed. This hasn't been a problem and iTunes did a great job at detecting which iPhone was connected.
Starting about a week ago, there are 50+ apps listed on both iTunes and on my iPhone that are my wife's. I can't (and don't) want to see these apps. I confirmed that the Apple ID in iTunes is mine, but it hasn't changed the long list of apps.
If I delete on the iPhone and on iTunes, will my wife's iPhone be affected.
My wife is going to get her own computer so this doesn't happen again. Any recommendations for restoring order.

if some or all of those apps are also synced to her iPhone, iTunes will remove them from her device when she syncs it next time.

  • Can I use Apps from another apple ID?

I bought my son an IPOD touch last christmas and didnt set up a new apple id. He is using my apple id as he was too young for an email at the time.
Now he wants his own apple id as he wants to send messages etc. Can I set him up with a new apple id and be able to transfer his purchased apps and music onto this new apple id?
    Hope this makes sense

    - Go to settings>Store and sign out and sign into his new account.
Also  go to settings>Messages>Send and Receive and Settings>FaceTime, and Settings>iCloud sign out of yur account and into the new one.
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them. They can't be transfered to another account
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

  • While I'm using facebook in my iPad with Safari browser, sometimes it will just switch to main menue. It also happened with the Facebook apps from the apple store. And the color of the bookmark area becomes black instead of a normal grey color.

Then if you have tried all the browsers try connecting the system to yoour router with an Ethernet cable and turn WiFi off. If you have the same problem then it more then likely after your computer, Router or modem or connection from your ISP.
If you get good browsing with the Ethernet cable then it is either the WiFi card in your Mac or the WiFi system in your router.

    Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

  • Can multiple users access apps purchased from another Apple ID account?

I have several iMacs under my control. I need to find a way to download iLife using one Apple ID, so I can have all users on each machine to also have access to the updated iLife suite.
Is it possible for other users to access an app that was purchased from another Apple ID. If one purchases an app, does the machine allow access to all the users?
(I know those two last sentences are redundant, but I want to make sure everyone understands problem).
I've read countless articles on this, and can't seem to catch a break from the problem.

If this is in a school of some type or a corporate learning center with multipple Mac computers you should contact Apple directly and ask them for help in getting a version that can be installed on multiple Mac with out have to down the updates to each computer individually.

  • How can i change a paid app from an Apple ID to other different Apple ID?

    Hello,
When i puchased my Ipad 2 i purchased a couple of paid apps for my little daugther, however due the damage she caused to my device, i decided to buy a new ipad.
I need to keep my Apple ID intact and thats why i have created a new one for my wife to be used with her apps and my little dauther apps.
My question is: How to change just a couple of paid apps from my account to the new account? Do i have to buy the apps again to use it trough the new Apple ID?
    Thank you

yes u do. there is no way to transfer apps to another apple id.
u can, however, keep the same apple id signed into the itunes/app section of every device and be able to keep ur apps. if u want wife and daughter to have different apple id's then just sign into those id's in the other places (like icloud settings) but leave urs signed into the itunes.
if u do that then it might be a good idea to put restrictions on the other devices to prevent ur daughter from being able to buy anything

Apps purchased by an Apple ID are forever associated with that ID.    Purchases can't be transfers to another Apple ID.

iOS is the operating system for iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad. Your Mac runs on OS X. You have installed OS X 10.10.2 Yosemite.
I have the most recent version of the Kindle app for Mac from the Mac App Store (MAS) v. 1.10.6 and it works fine. Look again in the MAS for the Kindle app, does it say Get or Open on the button?
Are you confusing Kindle for Mac with Kindle for iOS. The iOS version won't run on your Mac.

  • I have two Apple IDs and when I got an Iphone 6, only the apps from one Apple ID are on the phone. How do I get my other apps on there?

I (stupidly) have two Apple IDs and when I got an Iphone 6, only the apps from one Apple ID are on the phone. How do I get my other apps (from my old Iphone 4) on my new Iphone? Thanks

You can use the same appleid that you purchased the apps with on the phone for the App store. Settings> iTunes & App Store and continue to use the other id for everything else allowing you to have access to your previously purchased apps. You can then either sync or download the apps without paying for them again.
It can be quite handy having two appleids - it can be quite useful if you can manage them correctly. One id for the store and one for imessage is good for privacy if you have the same id in use on another device.

  • If I want to change my Apple ID will my apps from the previous Apple ID get deleted?

If I want to change my Apple ID will my apps from the previous Apple ID get deleted?

No, it will just ask you for the password to your old Apple ID to update the apps in the future. Unless your talking about simply changing the email address associated with your Apple ID account.

  • Not able to update any apps from new apple id.. Old id im not using anymore., cannot access the old one

Not able to update any apps from new apple id.. Old id im not using anymore., cannot access the old one.. But during update time asking for same old password of old apple id

If you change your Apple ID, all the apps you purchased with the previous ID will no longer updatable for you and this problem will continue. You see your old Apple ID because you are likely still using some of the apps purchased on that ID.

    Actually, wrong.
The tech support people can help with Playbook purchased apps. If you've called and they said they cannot, you were lied to.
Even in the link you posted, in #10, it states clearly "App Refund related matters are handled by BlackBerry Customer Care." That, my friend is accessed by the support number. Again, if you were told otherwise, you should inform them of such or ask for a manage/supervisor.
And, you don't have a "Partner ID" because you are not a "Partner". The section you're referring to applies to mobile providers, which are the Partners.
    Good luck.

  • Can't update apps from old apple id

I updated my apple id e-mail and now I can't update an app associated with the old e-mail.  The old password won't work and when I have it send an e-mail to reset my password I never get the e-mail.

Did you update the email used in the old Apple ID or did you create a new Apple ID? If you made a new Apple ID, that was not a good idea. Content is for ever tied to the ID that bought it. Only that I can be used to redownload content and to update the content. Apple does not tranfer content from one Apple ID to another nor does Apple merge Apple IDs. You will need to continue to use the old ID to update the content or abandon it all as is.
