Logitech ConferenceCam BCC950 gets an "Audio format provided (...) no supported (...)" error
I use FMLE 3.2 in WinXP SP3, selecting BCC950 as video device works but after selecting it as audio device I get the "Audio format provided by audio capture device is no supported by this application" error. The session log has the following information:

lsusb lists the usb devices attached to the system, not the devices the system has a driver for.
if video0 is not created, i can suppose you're using the wrong module for your device. You should check if VendorID/DeviceID of the device match the VendorID/DeviceID of the module you're using.

Creative Zen V Plus - Seeking your help with "Audio format is not supported" error
Hi,
I have a problem with my Creative Zen V Plus and am looking for someone to do a quick test to help me. I listen to a lot of MP3 podcasts, so I often rewind, fast forward or set bookmarks inside tracks. When I do those operations in some tracks, I get the error ?Audio format is not supported? when I ?land on certain places in a track (and I am able to reproduce the problem, which happens always at the same place in a particular track).
Here is what I mean by ?land?. For instance, there is a particular track (see the mp3 link below) that whenever I rewind to exactly 35 min 37 seconds, I get the error ?Audio format is not supported? and playback is stopped. If I fast forward to exactly 35 min 37 seconds, I also get the error. If I set a bookmark to exactly 35 min 37 seconds and I then go to that bookmark, I also get the error. But I don?t get the error if I play the track normally without any rewinding or fast forwarding: the track is played and passes the 35 min 37 seconds mark without any error.
Creative Labs customer support wants me to return my player for repair, but I am not sure if the problem is with my player or if the problem would also be present on other Zen V Plus, thus my asking for your help.
I would appreciate if someone of you could try one of my problematic tracks on their player. Here is what you could do to help me:
1- Download and transfer to your Zen V Plus player the following audio file (it'ss a technology podcast and don?t worry, it'ss virus-free, it comes from CNET):

2- Go to the 35 min and 37 seconds mark, press PAUSE and set a bookmark there.
3- Go into the Bookmarks menu and go to the bookmark you just set.
4- Do you see the error ?Audio format is not supported?, or the audio plays just fine? If the audio plays just fine, could you tell me what are the first words you hear
when going to that bookmark, just so that I am sure we are indeed doing the same test on each of our side?
5- What firmware version is your player at ?

How do I get the Audio Books to stick without error on any of my car
Good evening all.
I have been drafting a FAN message in my head for several days now, mainly because I have seen so many people baggin all over the ZEN in a number of posts... It's getting late, and I am resolved to not bore everyone with my rhetorical delights, so - for this night I enter to say: - THANK YOU so very much for the Helpful Hints thread, that was very kind. And 2- The PQI SD cards, both the 2GB as well as the 4GB are a hit with the ZEN as well as all the others mentioned thus far.
Seems a big crowd is very disappointed with the cans and cant's of the internal memory being able to sync up directly with the SD cards; maybe my total "newby'ness", but I am thrilled with my product... I purchased the 2GB ZEN, and then scored the Bluetooth headphones that were discounted over a hundred bux over the Father's Day weekend.
I'm a disabled, over the hill gentleman, and wanted a media player to keep me company on the powerwheelchair rides into town and what not... Yes... Being able to drag or send **bleep** from internal memory to the SD card, vice versa would be a treat, but things are workable as is.
My ONLY problem thus far has been in trying to re-sync a couple of Audio Boox, FROM my ZEN internal flash memory, to my PC (that part looks as if it works out OK, and I can get them imported back into the AudioManager library) and then try to get them to hook in error free to one of the SD cards (it's here where the difficulty occurs)... I'd much prefer to have just music on the internal flash, and then carry all my extras on my cards; but I was all excited and stuff... Tried to take baby bites and little steps, but just couldn't resist digg!
There is simply no way that I can figure out how to get the Audio Books to stick without error on any of my cards. And therefore I am reluctant to delete them off the ZEN itself.
Ahhhwell... Li've and learn!
Overall.. I am tickled green with the Creative ZEN, the Earphones and the investment into the extra 0 gigs of card memory.
Well... That was a bit longer than I wished, but for ME, it was a pretty **bleep** short write!

That would make listening to lectures or audio books on the SD card would be very inconvenient?(who wants to have to remember where their place is, then fast forward to it each time they restart listening to it's). I am curious. Do you have any problems getting the audiobook files to play in the correct order, or do the tags sort them properly? It seems like many series of lectures or other series of audiofiles sort properly on the pc or in mp3 players that use the folder/filename system, but might not sort properly based on the ID3 tags?

"Could not get the audio data from the file" error
Hi
I get a lot of "Could not get the audio data from the file" errors when opening a project. Sometimes they crash Premiere Pro CC 7.01 (Mac). But if not Premiere works as usual, with the audio.
I tried to convert the audio files (coming from Audition) from 32 to 16 bit. It worked while opening a project once, but not the following times.
Where can it come from ?
Edit: I also get this error when importing audio: "Error: Premiere Pro version 7.0 is not compatible with the Premiere Pro Plug-in version 5.7.4". Maybe it is connected.Got it! It was the Smartsound plugin making trouble. Got rid of it and no more errors.

After using iTunes Match, 5 songs have a "was not copied because the audio format is not supported by the iPhone".
I have deleted these songs and downloaded them from iTunes Match (they were "matched" and not "uploaded" files). However, it still does not work.I have the same issue with 8 songs in my library. All are "Matched" and I've tried deleting them and redownloading them from iTunes Match, but they won't play in iTunes or transfer to any of my iDevices.

Why do I keep getting the "accessory may not be supported" error after updating to ios 7?
Ever since updating to the new ios, my iphone 4 is rejecting every single charger I try to use. All of these chargers are first party apple chargers, and they are all in good shape. Withing seconds of plugging my phone in I get the "this accessory may not be supported" error. Has anyone else had this problem or know how I can fix this? Thank you.

What Audio Formats Does iTunes Supports?
is there a way to find out what formats iTunes supports?
for example, does iTunes support OptimFROG Loseless or FLAC Loseless?
thanks.iTunes uses Quicktime for audio playback and plays Apple Lossless, WAV, AIFF, MP3 and AAC files. If you want to play other formats, you generally have to convert them to a format iTunes supports (I use Apple Lossless myself). iTunes to FLAC is a group of Applescripts enabling FLAC file conversion in iTunes. For a guide to enabling OGG support in iTunes, see here. Other file conversion tools I use are Max and xAct.

iMovie is flexible.
The video and DVD standard is 48khz, so so if your camcorder has multiple audio settings, choose 48khz.
CDs and itunes tracks are in 44.1khz, and these can be used in iMovie projects.
I have never tried 96khz. I don't have any equipment that records at that rate.
As for bit depth, I am pretty sure it will accept both 16 and 24. There is no way to set this parameter in iMovie.
If you do live recording into Logic Pro, you can use 24 bit depth, and then mix that into a 48khz or 44.1khz recording in AIFf, AAC, Mp3, etc. and use that in iMovie. I am not sure about GarageBand. -
V Plus - Audio format is not suppor
Just got my Zen V Plus today and finally got the computer to recognize it. I upgraded the firmware and reset it, then copied some songs to it. The first folder I copied was a CD I ripped, mp3s@320. They were all ripped at the same time off the same CD with the same program(freerip). For some reason, on about /3 of the songs I put on it, it says "Audio format is not supported". I tried reformatting it and copying them back over and I still have the same program. I also tried putting some other CDs on it. The same thing has happened to a few songs on every album so far... I'm going to try and get a hold of tech support, but they're closed today and thier email support is crapped out. Anyone have any ideas on why its doing this?
Problem solved for me. Found .0.03 firmware available from link at nomadness.net (http://www.nomadness.net/modules.php...rticle&sid=980).

Stereo Mix Audio format not supported?

I'm pretty new at streaming, and i need help with my audio setup, I'm selecting Stereo Mix from the dropdown menu in the FMLE 3.2 but when i do it says.
"Audio format not supported."
"Audio format provided by audio capture device is not supported by this application."
I don't really understand why, since my mic device is supported. Why does this occur?
And how can I fix it?
I have a motherboard soundcard "VIA HD".
EDIT: I figured out why it doesn't work.
I went to the Recording devices menu to check the options but I noticed that Stereo Mix was "Currently unavailable" I figured maybe a program was using it but I don't know how to check what programs use the device.I have noticed something else which is weird : the recording device is ALWAYS called "Line 1".
I tried renaming both the VAC playback and record devices Line 1 to other names, FMLE still displays "Line 1". This makes no sense (and Audacity sure doesn't behave that way, I have checked).
Should I need to make a complete uninstallation to wipe old FMLE settings ? -
ITunes does not support audio format of iTubes store song
I downloaded some songs from the store but some of them say that they cannot be copied because the audio format is not supported by my iPod. The songs do not play in iTunes either. I have a nano with the latest update. What is happening and how do I fix it?

Songs from the iTunes Store are in ACC format & should play in iTunes & on your iPod...So it sounds like the songs didn't download correctly. -
All songs disappeared - audio format not supported by ipod
I went to sync my Nano today and instead ALL of the music was removed from it. Says can not sync music because audio format is not supported by iPod. We uninstalled itunes, restored the device and started again from scratch. The music synced fine, I bought an album on iTunes and when it synced ALL of the music was removed again and I got the same error for EVERY single song I tried to sync. Help?
That's very unusual and I have heard of such behavior. Since it seems to be an issue with iTunes, remove it and all other Apple software using the instructions in this Apple support document and install it from scratch.

You may want to replace ENCRYPTION_WALLET_LOCATION keyword with just WALLET_LOCATION in your sqlnet.ora file.
EWL is used only for TDE but if you want to use external password store, you will have to use WALLET_LOCATION rather than ENCRYPTION_WALLET_LOCATION. However if you are going to use both TDE and external password respository, then make sure your sqlnet.ora file has both entries ENCRYPTION_WALLET_LOCATION as well as WALLET_LOCATION

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:
