Logitech Freepulse Bluetooth headphones

I can't seem to get my freepulse headphones to work with my airbook. My jabra bt8010 work ok, but my freepulse seem to give an error. Any on experience this? Or have a fix?
Any info would be great, thanks!

Which version of the Freepulse you have? Are they white with a plastic headband (older style) or the newer ones which are grey with a wire core headband? I'm pairing with the newer style.
That error message is true though, because I find I do have to restart the program I was using before the audio will play through the Freepulse headphones. For example, if you were playing music in iTunes, SOMETIMES you have to restart it for the audio to come through the headphones. In VLC by comparison you HAVE to restart it if you want the audio through the headphones.
If you've got the pairing working setup correct (most important is the 0000 or 000000 key), I think you just have to put the headphones in discoverable mode (fast blue/red light) and keep trying.

Anyone else have problems with these only coming through one speaker. Or if there was something I needed to do to fix this.

I don't have any other bluetooth devices. I wish I did that would solve the mystery on if it's the headphones. Update I just messed with the headphone adapter and I hear it in one ear then the other ear only when it's securly in there. If I have it out a little in the middle it catches both speakers sometimes. You think that is the headphones that are defecti've or my second plug in the touch. The reoson I say the second plugin spot is that it works great with simple headphone plugged in.

  • Can't pair Logitech FreePulse Bluetooth headset

It refuses point blank to work.
I can put the headset into "discoverable" mode with the red/blue flashing.
I can set up the Bluetooth device and pair it with the 0000 passkey.
    It WILL NOT connect.
I CAN'T choose it from the Sound devices in system preferences.
    How do I fix this?

A2DP support can be added to Tiger, however, being that it is a "hack" you should backup your data at least twice before attempting. You should do this anyway before installing Leopard. To backup at least twice, follow these directions*:
    http://www.macmaps.com/backup.html
Once you have the backup complete, see this hack:
    http://blog.david.connolly.name/2007/06/stereo-bluetooth-profile-a2dp-on-mac-os. html
Note, with hacks, you may encounter difficulty upgrading your operating system.
Verify the hack works first with upgraded operating system before performing the the hack.
Also before upgrading your operating system, verify all your software and hardware is known to work with it first.

  • Bluetooth headphones $50... logitech and it works

Okay, i have been wanting to cut the wire from the iPod for a long time. Well, bluetooth seemed the way to go. I have been searching high and low. Logitech's bluetooth headphones seemed the way to go, but why pay $129 for the black pair... it works with any MP3 player... Logitech just dropped the price for the original pair made for the iPod to $99... well i thought i give it a try and when i opened the box, i saw it came witha 2 inch extension that did away with the little prong to control the advance and rewind of the songs, but the volume still worked...
COMPUSA had these on sale for $99 with a $50 rebate... Well needless to say this is just the ticket...
Yes the adapter dangles a bit, but the ipod will sit in my golfbag or book bag and i don't have to worry about any more wires... just battery charges..
    overall, a happy camper

  • Can't pair Logitech FreePulse headphone with Macbook and Leopard

Have tried several times to pair my Logitech Freepulse headset to my recently upgraded Macbook, using Leopard.
Simply never sees the headphones at all, have also tried to pair with "any bluetooth" device - never sees the headset.

On the headphones, hold the power switch until the light flashes red and blue alternating very fast. Then use the "setup bluetooth device" and it should find it. Leave the default 0000 passcode and they should work. Once they are added, you can go to the bluetooth menu and you should see "Freepulse_Wireless". From that choose "Use Headphones" and you should have sound. Hope that works for you. It worked for me on both a MacBook and new iMac.

  • Stereo Bluetooth Headphones

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can use Stereo Bluetooth Headphones with the PowerBook with BlueTooth 2.0? I believe the BlueTooth module in the PowerBook needs to support A2DP for Stereo audio over Bluetooth, but I can't find any information on the Apple site reguarding this.
Is this at all possible? I got a pair of Logitech Bluetooth Headphone for my iPod, and I'd love to be able to also use them with my new MacBook Pro that is on order.
    Thanks!

Try this. Pair any bluetooth headphone - including the Motorola S9. Connect the headphone, turn on your music or video on the iphone. Go to the voicemail section, click on audio and change the audio to headset. The music will come out of the headset (mono only). It will also come out of the iphone speakers at the same time. *Still beats having those headphones with wires!*

  • RAM preview audio will not play through bluetooth headphones

I am using bluetooth headphones (Jaybird Freedom Sprint) to try and edit audio/video in after effects. However, when I go to Preferences>Audio Output Mapping and choose "Freedom Sprint" and click OK, close the preference window, and it will automatically go back to the default "Built in Output" when I open it back up. It will only play the sound through the Mac Pro tower I am using. Is there a way to get the headphone option output to stay permanently?? Is there a reason why it is not staying selected?  Another thing I forgot to mention is that all other sounds work (like iTunes, volume up/down) through the headphones except for the audio RAM preview in After Effects. How can I disable the audio from playing through the tower? Very frustrating!
BTW - the only time headphones actually work is when they are plugged into the tower. These ones obviously can't be plugged in.
    Thanks! (Screenshots provided for help)

Thanks! I definitely did try that first... (trying to find a solution with the headphones). You can't find any info about them online/their website. Regardless though, After Effects will not allow me to play the audio output through any other device except for the Mac Pro tower - even playing it through the LCD Cinema Display won't work.
    Thanks for your reply

  • Is there a way to listen to radio on iPod nano 7th gen with Bluetooth headphones?

I know the iPod nano 7th gen uses the headphones as an antenna. I know there will need to be some sort of antenna attached. Does anybody know if there is an antenna on the market that can be plugged into the headphone jack that will allow audio to be sent to a pair of Bluetooth headphones?

There is currently no such antenna available.

  • Can I use a Bluetooth headphone/microphone for capture sound instead of normal iPhone mic when shooting video?

Can I use a Bluetooth headphone/microphone for capture sound instead of normal iPhone mic when shooting video?
The sound when I record video is not so good, so I'm trying to use the Bluetooth headphone/microphone to capture a person voice but not know which setting to use.

    Hi Robert
Thanks for answering. I didn't know where to post other than the bluetooth forum which is relatively quiet and had no answers forthcoming.
Yes the voice isn't reaching the amp although it is registering on the input bar in the Sound System Prefs, just won't "play through" as it were. I can't see how it could be done I was just hoping someone might see something I am missing.
It seems a shame that you can't do it as iTunes on an old iBook makes a good juke box for DJ'ing and with everything becoming wireless these days it seems sensible that you could cut that one last wire.

    Hi zimmetp,
If I understand correctly you have paired a Bluetooth headphone to your notebook and it works fine. The problem arises when you go back to your regular notebook speakers and/or headphones and the sound doesn't work.
Are you turning off the Bluetooth when you try to go back to regular sound? If the computer still sees a connection to the Bluetooth headphones and they are set to default then it will continue to use those and not the regular ones.
    What is your product number?

  • Question about Bluetooth & Headphones to avoid damaging the miniport!?

Well, I finally experienced the same thing a lot of others have already ... the left side audio failed completely on my Touch, so I had to go return it and have it replaced. Luckily, the folks at Best Buy were nice enough to just swap it out and give me a new one, even though I was outside of my 30-day return policy. I have a service plan there, but I didn't want to go without my Touch while they replaced it elsewhere and sent me a refurbished device which probably wouldn't be in the same condition I keep my own in (immaculate -- 40+ days I've used it for 3+ hours a day, and there is hardly a scratch on the stainless steel, and the screen is flawless ... or was).
So now I have a new Touch, but I want to prevent this from happening again. Personally, I think the mini-port on the Touch, while it doesn't have the same problem as those of the iPhones, it has a design problem as well. But I don't want this thread to end up being a discussion of whether there is a design issue or not, but rather I need some help to find an accessory to fit my specific needs.
What I am looking for is either, a website actually selling [this product|http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/28/princeton-technologys-bluetooth-head phone-adapter/|Visit www.podtropolis.com today!] to customers in the U.S. ... or a product nearly like it.
I don't even need the iPod-Bluetooth transmitter, as those are VERY common. What I need is the other part, the receiver with a miniport Audio-Out (headphone jack). I don't even need the capabilities of the remote. Especially since this particular device may not even WORK with the iPod Touch. I'm hoping the audio-out features would, but I could care less if the remote-control did.
Basically, I'm reaching out in desperation with a severe headache from too many google searches with little to show for it ... I need help finding a Bluetooth headphone Audio-Out receiver.
And before you ask why I don't just buy a pair of bluetooth headphones, my reason is this ... bluetooth headphones can't be used wired when the battery dies, or to save battery when there's little chance you're going to drop the iPod and bend the miniport connection inside. With this, I can use the headphones I already have, I like, and still easily have the capability of switching to wired if I NEED to.
This is the only way I can think of to truly prevent the overuse of the Touch's mini-port and the wear & tear that comes from it.
Please, if you have any suggestions, please provide at least a semi-accurate device name and manufacturer, or, preferably, a link to a site in English with an online store!
    Thanks!

Chris ... sometimes I wonder how I could LIVE WITHOUT YOU! You're an iPod GOD!
You pointed me in the right direction ... I found it sold at Beach Audio, with JUST the receiver, so now I can buy my preferred iPod BT transmitter as well! Plus this device is useful for other things:

  • Bluetooth Headphones Audio Delayed after Updating to Yosemite

Ever since I upgraded to OS X Yosemite my Bluetooth headphones have started having pretty drastic delays on my iMac.  When I first start up the computer it seems normal, but after a half an hour or so, I have more than a 2 second delay.
I googled it and found that lots of people have this problem, but I haven't found any fixes.  Is there anything I can do??

I Just got an update on my bug report from Apple yesterday. They think they've fixed the bug in the next release 10.10.8.2.
Hopefully this does the trick and it's just a matter of time Before we all get the update.
I Havent been able to confirm the fix, but it's something!
