Logitech Pure-fi Express Plus

Hi, like many "sound dock" since the ios 4.2 update I'm not able to lisen to my music. My Iphone is charging, but a pop-up tell my the sound dock doesn't support my iphone anymore. I've done a reset on my phone and "Pure-fi", that changed nothing. So what I could try?? I'm pretty sure it's a firmware bug from Apple...When are they give us an update!?!?!

I have the exact same problem with logitech mm50 speakers. Some other people had troubles with some Bose SoundDocks and had their iPhones replaced at Genius Bar ( http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2667868&start=15&tstart=0 )

Lost connectivity to logitech pure fi express

Hi there,
I've got a 3G 16MB. I just tried connecting it to my logitech pure-fi express and I now get a warning that the accessory isn't built to support the iphone (it is) and the iphone is no longer charging from it (it should). This problem just seems to have suddenly developed. I think it's likely a 3G hardware issue related to the connection, but nothing obvious seems to have broken. Anyone experience anything similar?

I have Pure-Fi Express Plus as well and since 3.1.2. iPhone update, I can use it as speaker but it will not charge my iPhone while docked. Worked fine with 3.1

IPod Touch after OS 3.0 no longer works with Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2

I have the iPod Touch 2nd gen with OS 3.0, and I get no sound at all through speakers of the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2.
3.5mm line-in jack works fine, so the speakers will work. An older Nano in the Pure-Fi works fine, so the dock connector works okay. and the Touch worked fine with the speakers before upgrading to OS 3.0. Now I get nothing at all coming through the Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 with Touch and OS 3.0.
Tried resetting both devices according to the respective manufacturer's instructions. Still no luck.
Apple, please address this in the next OS release.

Another one here with 2nd gen ipod touch. Immediately after the 3.0 upgrade, my wifi can't get mail. Sending works, as dose Net access, but all my mail accounts no longer come in seamlessly as they did before the upgrade. One does intermittently, but even that one has failed more often than not. Friends are having the same problem. Reset/restore has done nothing. Apple Store Genius also tried to no avail. Help, Apple! Will a 3.0.1 fix the bug?

My Logitech Pure-Fi anywhere 2 is not working with my iPhone 4

I got my Logitech Pure-Fi anywhere 2 just under a year ago and now when I plug my iPhone 4 into it the sound only comes out of the iPhone speaker, It will charge but the sound doesn't work with it.

I don't think this is a malfunction. Since the iPhone emits radio signals it can distort the audio signal to the speakers and cause a buzz sound. By putting the iPhone into Airplane Mode it stops transmitting and you will hear a cleaner audio signal through the speakers.
The message you are getting is most likely a feature to improve sound.

Bluetooth Connectivity to Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile

Hi All,
I have just bought a Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile set of speakers for my iPhone 3G but cannot get my iPhone to pair with them. The speakers pair fine with my laptop so the problem does not appear to be on their end. My iPhone will detect and pair with 2 different headsets no problem but just will not pick up my speakers.
Would GREATLY appreciate any help/advice anyone may be able to offer.

Many thanks for all your contributions. The Pure-Fi Mobile actually ALSO has handsfree telephone functionality which one of the reasons I bought it as I thought it would be LESS likely to have BT connectivity issues.
So I hear what you're saying, "it won't work". Back to shop A bit disappointed and let down by a phone that is otherwise the best one I ever had.

My iphone doesn´t play sound on logitech pure-fi anywhere

Hi,
my iphone 4 recently quit playing music over the logitec Pure-Fi Anywhere Speakers. It did before but it doesn´t anymore. My husbands iphone still cooperates so it can´t be the speakers who are broken. My iphone still plays the sound on it´s own speakers but it won´t play them loud on the logitech speakers. I had this problem before but after a while it worked again ... is it a button I need to press or something else I am missing?

Reset your iPhone while it is connected to the PureFi: Hold down the home and sleep buttons, ignore the red Off slider, wait for the Apple logo and let go.

Extreme vs Express, plus is Demon evil?

We've got a 2 year old PowerBook G5 15" 1.25GHz and a spanking-new 12' iBook and we want to set up a basic wireless network that will allow us to have a home office (one computer & printer) at one end of the house and a computer hooked up to the internet in a shed in the garden (I'm not always allowed in the house) some 200 feet from the home office. My first instinct was to go for the Extreme but it seems to have some less-than-positive reviews in the Apple Store and there also seems to be some doubt over whether I could hook it up directly to our Demon Home 2000 2mb broadband connection (we're currently using the Demon-provided, ultra-crap SpeedTouch 330 modem). Can I connect it directly or do I need to invest in a decent modem as well, and if so should I just go for the Express instead? Also, parts of our house are extremely old and have walls several feet thick - how much will this cut down the range of either Base Station? Will I need 2?

There is no way you are going to be able to get a reliable wireless network working over a distance of more than 200 feet with walls several feet thick as an added obstruction - so that "computer in the shed" will need to be cabled to your internet connection. I will leave it to you to figure out how that could be accomplished.
The Speedtouch 330 is a USB-interface modem, and cannot be used directly with any Apple Airport base station - it would have to be replaced with an ethernet interface model. I suggest you take a look at this discussion:

Logitech Audiostation (non-express) and video.

Has anyone used the *Logitech Audiostation* with their 3G nano yet? I hear that the video out does not work with it. I guess it has something to do with the firmware. But isn't there AV cables that allow video out for these already? I don't see what would be any different?
Just trying to confirm cause I would really like to have that feature. I guess it wont be so bad considering I found it for $69.99(after $50MIR) and Logitech still sells it for $299.

I just bought my first iPod (80 Gig) yesterday from the Apple Store. I really wanted to buy one of the AudioStations myself but decided to wait to buy any more iPod accessories. I want to be able to take my iPod to one of the Apple Stores and try their display models. There is only one review at the Apple Store. Android 2.1+ is just one of the requirements as you do appear to have Android 2.2.
Doing some initial digging shows it is a cheap under $100 tablet so I would not be surprised if it has a older ARMv6 type of cpu when ARMv7 is required.
And the SYTABEX7 does have a ARM11 which is sorry to say a ARMv6 cpu.

Logitech speaker S715i won't recharge my "ipad mini" using the lightning to 30-pin Adapter. Has anyone solved this problem?

Everytime I connect my mini to the Logitech S715i or Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus speaker a pop-up appears telling me the iPad doesn't recognize the device and the battery symbol shows that it isn't loading. I am using the lightning to 30-pin Adapter.
Is there a way to correct this so my speaker will act as a dock and load the iPad?

Since the last update I have noticed the percentage of battery power does increase when my iPad mini has been docked although the actually staus reported on the iPad screen while docked is 'not charging'. This is obviously an Apple recognization problem (not sure about third party as Apple is providing the software).
Will not return my Logitech as it has excellent sound (speakers are higher watt then others in this price range), plus it has a built in battery which means I can take it on the terrace for tea in the afternoon.
As pointed out it requires more power then the iPhone, it does take longer to charge, so in the future if I need a quicker charge I'll do it via a wall outlet.
side note: This problem must also be why my iMac is shutting down all other USB devices when the iPad is plugged in.

Can't charge iPhone with Logitech speaker dock

Six months ago I bought a "Logitech pure-fi express plus" to play music and charge my iPhone in the Kitchen. Recently the player has stopped charging the phone. I have upated to OS 4, but my wife has not and her iPhone won't charge on it either. Below is the webpage with the specs for the player.

I really think Ives needs to be reigned in. It is ABSURD that the case and charging the phone are incompatible. The case is tight now but is unlikely to remain so if I pry it off every night to charge.

IPod has stopped syncing with my sound system.

Two years ago I received the Logitech Pure-Fi Express Plus for Christmas and have loved it since I started using it. All of a sudden today though I noticed that i will not charge my iPod when it is in the dock. And it has ALWAYS worked before today. Any ideas as to why this is suddenly happening?

IPod Classic 5G 80GB is not docking but USB works fine. Ideas?

My iPod 5G 80GB Classic not docking to a few new radios I bought. I tried the Luna Voyager and also the Logitech Pure-fi Express Plus. Nothing happens (as if I wasn't docking it). The USB connection to my computer works fine. I tried reformatting the iPod, restoring from iTunes, boot diagnostics, etc. and nothing seems wrong. The products state I am supposed to be able to dock this iPod. Any ideas as to what might be going wrong? Could it be the v1.3 firmware or a hardware issue? Anyone knows the protocol and how to diagnose it properly?

The same problem I have today afternoon.
My car audio system is compatible with iPod USB connector and worked fine for also 6 months.
When connecting my iPod nano 6rd gen via USB to car audio system, iPod displays on its screen a sucessfull connection, and music tracks is successfully displayed on the car audio system. But do not play. Switch forward or backward by playlist (by the buttons on the car audio system) works also, but still there is no start playback.
I tried plugged my iPhone 5 via USB to car audio system - it's works fine.
I plugged iPod to my mac computer - itunes says it's all Ok.
I am confused and do not understand what is happening.
May be restoring to default factory settings iPod....

My Ipod has stopped syncing!

i have a PC and I am running on the latest version of Itunes and my Ipod is an 120gb Ipod classic which I bought 2nd hand but refurbished on Amazon. I have had it a year and a half and had no problems with it but I noticed recently after I had put some new music on my Itunes that it was not syncing all the tracks. Looking on my Ipod I discovered it had taken songs off that had been on there so my Ipod libary is left mismatched with some albums fine, some with only one track, some taken off completely. It took me awhile to fully notice, then when I tired to sync it again last week it came up with this:
I then tried setting my Ipod back to its factory settings but this did not work either! Keeps attempting to sync really slowly then coming up with that same message. I regret taking it back to factory setting because now what was there has been totally wiped off and I can't listen to it at all, it has synced afew random tracks and albums but even less! Any help would be appreciated.

Dock connector problem

I have an 8GB iPod touch and I love it but I have an issue with a logitech pure fi express.
When I put the iPod on it, I have to move it around until it connects. Then when it fnally connects, if it gets bumped it disconnects. I think my iPod has a faulty dock connector. The computer cable works though because it has those little clips. What should I do? Can it be fixed?
