Logo Appear Background Color

Hi experts,
I have one question. My client want to upload new logo and letterhead for their company. The problem I got when i upload through se78, the background appear (grey in SAP screen) . Need your advise

1) Before uploading the image, change the setting of your image to 256 Bitmap Image and then upload.
2) If the above does not resolve your issue, check note 205837
3) Refer this thread Re: Using Transparent logo in Smartforms

  • Firefox does not recognize the global "advanced appearance" background color setting although IE and all other apps seem to.

The background color of the little mouseover info text boxes is a dingy manila (yellowish) with black text. How do you change this color? The color specs in XP seem to work most everywhere except Firefox.

This works in modern CSS3 supporting browsers.  But not pre-IE9.

  • Background color palette weirdness

    Acrobat 8.1.2
    OS 10.5.2
    Preferences/Full Screen/Full Screen Appearance/Background color/Other Color
When I go into the color palette I am unable to scroll to the different color settings. ie. CMYK Sliders, RGB Sliders, Crayons, Web Safe Colors, are all "stuck". If I go into another app, then back into Acrobat, they 'unstick'.

  • Indesign problem : background color don't appears in the pdf...

    Hello,
When I export the document to PDF, the background color doesn't appears in the pdf.
I'm a new Indesign user. Ihave searched every where, but i have not found  tutorial about this problem...
    EM2C

How did you implement this "background color"?
If, as I suspect, you changed the [Paper] swatch, then you aren't seeing a malfunction. That swatch is non-printing, and will not show up anywhere but in the InDesign editing environment. To add a color in the background, you must actually fill an object with the color and position it behind the rest of the elements in your layout.

  • Reg:Logo Background Color

    Hi Experts,
I have uploaded the logo using the transaction se78.when i refer the logo in the smartform, output of the logo background color is in grey color.I need it in white color.Could you please help me out on this issue ?
    Thanks & Regards,
    R.Dhineshraj.

If you use a true color graphic with more than 256 colors, while uploading a graphic to the SAP system, the graphic isconverted to a graphic with 256 colors. During the conversion some color information can get lost.
Check whether your graphic contains more than 256 colors. If it oes, then convert it to a 256 color graphic before the upload via a graphic tool. Then the color should not be changed any more in SAP.

  • White background appears cream colored

    Hi,
If I create a white background (#FFFFFF) or anything white for that matter in elements, it appears cream colored. Every other program on my computer handles white correctly.
I don't think I have done anything to the color profile. What should I do to correct this?
And what program should I trust to tell me the correct colors? My pictures look totally different in Picasa vs. Elements. I'm thinking Picasa is telling me the truth since white looks white.
    Thanks

Go to Edit|Color settings. If it's set to 'Always Optimise for Color Screens', try setting 'No Color Management'. Otherwise, set optimisation for the screen. Did that make a difference? If it did, then the issue is most likely with the profile.
The French have a saying, "one doesn't argue about tastes and colours"; in other words, there is no such thing as absolute colour perception. Most of us tend to look for consistency rather than ultimate truth, and consistency is your problem.
If you can, it's always good to calibrate your monitor with a hardware calibrator. I use a Spyder2Express. With a calibrated screen, I see no difference between images in different programs (including PSE 6), provided that those programs recognise and use monitor profiles of course.
    Hope this helps.

  • Upload LOGO as is. Without the background color getting changed

    Hi All,
I uploaded a LOGO using SE78. BMAP as a color image.
I converted the .JPG to .BMP in 24 bit format.
The background color was white in .JPG and even in .BMP after conversion.
But, when i uploaded and used in my smartforms, the bacground color was not pure white. It was in light grey color. I want the bacground color as white which will fit correctly in the smartforms without any grey bacground.
Can you all please suggest me a solution.
    Thanks,

    Hi;
I have HP pavilion a6300f and at startup HP logo appears in very odd colors like blue in blue areas but not usual HP-Blue, and pink spots or you can say boxes of about  0.5 cm2  are all arround the logo.
And yes I am using ATI grafix card an ATI X1950Pro 512MB PCI-E, and I think this is not a problem coz it was working fine in my old PC.
I am worried about this problem, can anyone help me about what kind of problem it is, and what kind of threat it poses to my PC and how to solve it.......
    Thanx in advance.

Hi again JetTheNewb, It is good to hear back from you! Since the old Hard Drive is failing, you will definitely need to obtain a new one. As I cannot recommend a specific drive, you can find a number of different models from one of the following vendors below: https://www.google.com/search?q=hard+drive&oq=hard+drive&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i65l3j69i61j69i60.2447j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8 Other than the ESD, the only things to keep in mind are to: Use a Phillips head screwdriver.Turn off the computer. Disconnect the Ethernet or modem cable. Disconnect the power cord.Transfer the computer to a clean, flat, stable work surface over a noncarpeted floor. It is recommended that you put down a blanket, towel, or other soft cloth to protect the screen from scratches or other damage.Refrain from remove a component from its protective packaging until you are ready to install it.I hope this helps! Best Regards

  • Background of logo appears grey

    Hi all,
I tried to create a logo using transaction SE78, but in window the background of the logo appears grey, which should not.
    What should I do?

    Hi Mani,
In case you are using script(since you have not mentioned whether you are using script or smartforms) please check whether you are specifying any intensity in the include statement
Incase you are using smartforms then please check  the output options tab of that window in which you might have specified shading %.

  • My background color selector doesn't appear in cell properties DW cs6

I have in the past been able to change my table cell background color in dreamweaver cs6, for some reason in this new site i am working on, the properties panel doesn't show the option anymore.
    What am I overlooking?
    Thanks for looking

Be aware that the use of the bgcolor attribute (both for table and td tags) is deprecated meaning that browsers are no longer expected to support them. As Nancy O suggests, use CSS instead. It won't hurt you!

  • How can I change the background color of my podcast's iTunes page?

My RSS feed just got accepted but now I need to customize the title, author, background color, and logo of my site. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you!

You can't change the background colour - it's white for audio and black for video. The other data can be changed by changing the appropriate tag in the feed, or if you're using a program or online service to make your podcast,. wherever they provide for entering this information.
The title is carried in the 'title' tag; the author in the 'itunes:author' tag, and the 'podcast image' which appears on the Store page in the 'itunes: image' tag. Republish the feed after making the amendments: it will take a couple of days for the new data to appear, though the image may take several days.
The image which appears in some podcasts in the bottom left-hand corner of iTunes when subscribing is not referenced in the feed but has to be actually embedded into the media file: please see this page:

  • Background color and float problems

    Hello all,
I am having a problem with the background color and the left
float for a navigation sidebar (also with the background color for
the footer). The body color is set to gray, and the main page is
centered with a white background. I set up the pages using mostly
CSS, with a few tables where they seemed necessary. I set up the
navigation side bar as a div with a green background and a left
float. The footer is set up as a div with a green background. All
    text is aligned left.
When I preview in Safari, everything looks as expected.
In Firefox and IE5: The background color of the navigation
sidebar has white showing up behind the type that are not links
(e.g., mailing address and subheads). The div does not float all
the way to the left edge of the page. The background color of the
footer should be green but shows up as white. I validated the code
in DW, and it reports no problems (at least, it checked out after I
    made a few corrections).
I am not that concerned about the background color for the
footer -- it is either all there (in Safari) or not there at all
(in Firefox and IE). But I would like to see if I can make it show
up. For the navigation sidebar, would putting it in a table cell
make it work correctly in Firefox and IE?
Regarding the left float issue for the nav sidebar IE5: At
the top of the page, my logo banner (it's placed in a div) shifted
to the right (in IE only). When I added a left float to the banner,
the banner lines up fine with the rest of the page, but a white
margin appears along the left side of the entire page.
None of my pages are uploaded to a web host yet. This is my
first website. I am working in DW8 on a Mac.
    Thanks in advance,
    Kathy (Daylilybud)

    Mista,

  • No background color on pop-up text labels in dock

Something strange has happened to my dock. Normally when I mouse over an icon, text appears above it saying the name of the program. The text is white on a dark gray background. Recently I have noticed that the dark gray background has disappeared, leaving only white text. In some cases this makes it completely unreadable depending on the position of any open windows. I have looked in the preferences pages but I can't find any option to change the background color for the pop-up text.
Note that I don't have any customization programs installed.
    Any help is appreciated.

Try using a web safe color (one of the 256 colors shown in
the pop up palette in Dreamweaver) color # 7dabef is not in that
group. By the way, it doesn’t show up in Netscape either.
This limitation kind of stinks, but ot’s something we
have to live with, and you need to get used to the limitations if
you want to publish for multiple browsers and monitor setups.
However, I could be wrong… since a test of your color
shows up in a table background in all 3 browsers… and it
shows in all three browsers when set as a page property…
So… setting the background color in CSS (using your css
file unaltered) shows the color in EI, but not FF or NS… so,
I’m learning something here as well.
So, ok… took everything out of the style sheet except
    for :
    body {
    background-color: #7dabef;
And your background shows up in all the browsers… so
now, to figure out what is conflicting with it…
Thanks Bash... I was working in that direction, and you
    jumped in and fixed it...
