How can i send a logo and text in the mail app of the iphone (4 and 5) and the same foor replying.

Do you mean in your signature?
If so, the simple answer is no. It would also need to be an attachment as the iPhone Mail doesnt support HTML composing

Questions 1 and 2): Use of the Apple logo as you propose would almost certainly be a violation of Apple's copyright. See:

3) I don't know what you mean. The only place you can see songs purchased from the iTunes Store is in the Music app. If you are having problems, please post back with full details.
4) That's not the way it works in iOS. You open the document you wish to send in an app that offers the ability to email; you don't attach it to an email message in the Mail app (except for a photo or video). GoodReader, for instance, can email PDFs or Word documents.

I must be more specific:
I am attempting to send a vcf from a Windows Computer using Outlook to another Email account that syncs with an iPhone. When I read the e-mail on the iPhone, I can't see the vcf file. But I can see the contact on outlook as a VCF.

I do not find Airdrop logo on my iphone also the location services are locked and cannot be changed.

I am using an iPhone 5S 64GB 7.1.2 version installed.

Have you tried a Reset: Hold down the home and sleep buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons.
If that didn't work try a Restore from your backup in iTunes. If that fails Restore it as a new iPhone in iTunes.
And if all the above fail, you do not have an employer profile on your iPhone, and there are no Restrictions set, get it serviced.

Yahoo mail/iPhone

Another yahoo mail/iphone problem. I currently only have 67 yahoo emails on my iphone inbox, yet there are hundreds in my inbox on my laptop. Couple of things about it; when a new message comes in, it erases the oldest message to keep the total inbox messages to 67. In the sent items, it downloads 200 messages & at the bottom of the sent folder it has “Load More Messages…” 1,854 messages 256 unread, when clicked it downloads 50 more sent messages at a time (Wired). I have set up my yahoo mail on the iphone via “yahoo!mail” button, & as “other” with no luck. It doesn't give me the option to "Load More Messages…" in my inbox (it did previously). I have reformatted the phone to a clean install… same problem. Yahoo Mail on the iphone is immensely frustrating experience, it pushes, doesn’t push, goes to sleep, now this, sometimes I think Apple just wants to make the experience as miserable as possible to get people to switch to mobile me. And a note to all that say its yahoo’s fault, it can’t be because the same settings work on my MS Entourage, Apple Mail & Blackberry. If anyone has a fix I would greatly appreciate it.

Suggestions:
I was having weird problems with Yahoo and I tried reinstalling the account and had no luck until I first made sure I was signed out of Yahoo web mail. Yahoo can leave you signed in for 2 weeks even if your web browser isn't open. Then I went back and set up my Yahoo account again on my iPhone.
What I would want to find out is what email is #67? the one before/after? I would check to see if those messages aren't maybe causing a download error and interrupting the full retrieval. This can happen if an email becomes corrupt or the client decides it doesn't like it.

Exchange : Sycnro Mail - Iphone. No mail account in Itunes.

I have created an Exchange account on Mail. ( Address Book + iCal OK )
When I plug my iPhone I can't see this account on Itunes, so i can't use the syncro.
Any ideas ?

Well, just sounds like you have some hung up programs (happens from time to time just like a computer).
Do a reset/reboot.
A reset/reboot is:
Go to Home Screen
Press and Hold Home Button
Keep holding and press and hold Lock Button
Keep holding Both
You will see Slide to Turn Off (Don't let go to slide, just keep holding)
The phone will turn off (in time, but screen will look like it has some white lines)
Keep Holding
When you see the Apple Logo, you can let go.
Turning off via the Slide to Turn off while good and fine to turn off, is more like the Sleep Mode on a computer. Thus any locked up issues in memory remain when you turn back on. A reboot as described is like doing a real Turn off and Turn On on a computer.

"Delete messages from server" Mail iPhone 5

Hi, I am trying to locate "delete messages from server" option in Mail Settings on iPhone 5 and can't find it. In iPhone 4 it was just in the Advanced settings but it is not there in iPhone 5. Help please? Thanks

Not sure who your email provider is. Mine is hotmail. When you set up email with hotmail on an iPhone 4 the delete from server never is available. I just got an iPhone 5, i reset up my hot mail account and can't find that setting either. I set it up by using the hotmail button not "other" so meaning delete your hotmail account from your phone. Then re set it up. But when you do add email account, don't use the button that says hotmail. Use the bottom choice that says "other". I have no idea why this is different but if you do this it will set up hotmail just the same. But now that setting is there. The "delete from server" and you set it to "never". Now when you delete the emails from your hot mail account on the iPhone, it leaves that email on the hotmail server. So when you look at email on the computer it's there still. It's good this way if you share email with someone.

How to delete folders on mail (iPhone 5)?

I have an iPhone 5 and I use the mail application quite a lot, and I also like to sort my mail into folders after I have read it. I know how to create a new folder, but I don't know how to delete an old folder (I've been using the same email account for a few years now and a lot of my folders are organised into friends from my old school who I don't keep in touch with anymore). If I tap on an older folder and click delete, it just states there and doesn't delete. Please let me know if you know how to delete a folder.

In the Mail app, start at the screen with Mailboxes at the top.
Scroll down to Accounts and tap Yahoo.
Tap Edit at the upper right.
Tap the folder you want to delete, then Delete Mailbox.
Confirm that's what you really want to do (it will erase all the messages within it) then Delete Mailbox.
Tap Done at the upper right.

IMAP Issues using between mail/iphone - godaddy hosted

I just got email for my domain that is hosted with godaddy. I have IMAP and have set it up properly regarding the settings.
When I send myself an email and read it on my iphone it doesn't show as read on apple mail? If I close and reopen apple mail it shows as read????
If I do it in reverse and read it on apple mail it shows as read on the iphone. Very strange, need help!!!

Right, I've just had a mess around with the settings and have deleted the original mailbox from my account. Then I followed the steps on this blog - http://www.illusion-interactive.com/content/how-sync-hotmail-ios7-using-imap (which I didn't need to go quite as far as it seemed to do all the advanced settings input automatically).
After a quick test I can confirm it now works! For some reason my Hotmail account set up on the iPhone was set to POP3 rather than IMAP.

Password apple id, no longer accepted in mail iphone ipad devices

my Mail app in iphone and ipad doesn't accept password anymore. it was working for years.
i read instruction and forums , i've changed password Apple twice, both changes have been accepted, but the problem seems to be my in the ios devices.
As soon as i change putting in the new passwords in Cloud section and Mail section , they are recognised but if i get in again i've noticed the system keep the old one automatically. i did it a million times. no way to make regular new id Apple password accepted.

Yes, I have tried Apple - My Info, but to have my password emailed to me I need to have access to my main mac email account. I can't sign on to that account, as it won't accept my password. Option 2, where they ask my secret question, won't accept anything I offer, either. I have tried so many variations that now I am locked out of the account (again!) for too many tries. I have used the same PW and riceramblz@mac. account since it began. Been to the genius bar, been on the phone to AppleCare. No one apparently knows what to do.

To send company logo through mail

I am able to create a html template in mime repository and able to send the template in a mail using cl_bcs. the problem is the comapny logo is not coming in the mail with the template . instead some text 'cid:image000..' is displayed in the paceholder of the company logo. how can I pass the logo or image ... as a html template through cl_bcs.

I think you can setup the type of email in Shared office Settings in transaction S016.
There is an option called <Preset document classes>
You choose this pushbutton to branch to the maintenance screen for the document classes that are directly displayed to users in the Business Workplace for selection when they use the Create function. The name under which the documents are displayed can also be maintained.

Inserting Logo in mail forms

Hi Gurus,
I am trying to insert picture in one of the mail form, after inserting and when i click on SAVE, I get a display " Your session has timed out! Click here to restart. ".
I have added the picture ( .BMP) file in the SE78 transaction.
Please help me to proceed further.

Yeah sure.
Once you open a mail form, on the left side , third row from the TEXT ELEMENT, there is an icon for HTML editor (toggle button)
When you click it, the html coding is displayed.
The image can be loaded directly from the internet or from SAP server.
1. Through Internet.

2. From SAP
In order to upload the logo to SAP Server, logon to SE78 , and upload the logo from ur PC to BDS. Then execute the program RSXFT_MIGRATE_BDS_GRAPHICS.
Now your logo must be available in the MIME repository.
Now attach
<IMG src="https://<sapserveraddress>/sap/BC/fp/graphics/PUBLIC/GRAPHICS/BMAP/BCOL/logo.bmp"
Now you must be able to see ur logo.

Mac Mail/iPhone mail conflict or locking issue

I recently an iPhone. I previously was using a Pearl with RIM's BIS setup to access my email (verizon/yahoo POP3 acct). Since I moved to the iPhone, I've noticed whenever it accesses my email account, the Mac Mail displays the pop-up window requesting the password saying the email server had rejected it. About a minute or so after the iPhone is done with the email account, I'm able to enter the password and Mac Mail can access the account.
This is a POP3 email account. I never had this issue with Mac Mail while using the Pearl, it only started after switching to the iPhone.
Config Info:
iPhone 1.0.2
iMac/OS 10.4.10
Mac Mail 2.1.1
Verizon/Yahoo Acct POP3 (incoming.yahoo.verizon.net/outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net)
Has anyone else seen this problem and is there a solution for it? I've seen a couple close hits in this forum, but no direct hits.

I consider it a bug because after the auto-retrieval on the iPhone is complete, it still retains a lock on the mailbox causing mail.app to generate that error. Once the check is complete, that lock should be released. I'm speculating on this being the source of the problem, but I have verified the behavior (not necessarily the problem) by closely observing when the problem occurs.
I had a Blackberry Pearl for over a year and while I only had used it for a short time on my iMac before I replaced it with the iPhone, I never had this issue with the Pearl. There too I had mail.app on the iMac always running.
As for this thread - my bad. When I started it I wasn't sure where the problem was (mail.app or iPhone), but I should have just picked one of the other threads. Sorry about that!
