Logo in PDF-Printlayout - Web / NW2004s

Hi all,
how can i implement a Logo in the PDF-Print in NW2004s.
If i change the *_EXPORT Template by inserting a Logo the PDF Print still not includes it in the printing. Does someone know why?
Regards,
Adem

Ok i´ve found it.
I must save the logo in MimeRepository and call it with:
src="bwmimerep:///sap/bw/mime/Customer/Images/logo_header.gif" border="0"
Any other source does work.

  • Saving PDF for Web?

    Hello!
    I recently designed a 6-page annual report, meant to be disseminated as a PDF via web and e-mail.  I am having trouble getting the PDF small enough and streamlined enough for this purpose.  The file is under 4MB, but even on my system it is difficult to scroll through it, and graphics take a moment to appear or flash repeatedly on the screen.
    The design is simple but includes many gradients and transparencies, which I assume is the root of the problem.  I have flattened transparency and converted text to outlines.  There are no images other than one vector logo.  When saving as a PDF, I choose "smallest file size," with all options unticked except "save for fast web review."  Lowering downsampling under "compression" made no difference.  Even external sites like smallpdf.com would not make the file smaller.  I'm not even sure changing the file size will ultimately solve the issue of the graphic elements flashing and taking time to properly appear.
    Is there anything else I can do to make this file more accessible to a broad audience?
    Thanks!

    Outlining is considered very bad practice for many reasons (and cannot be undone).
    True, but not in all cases...
    But that is for a different conversation.
    You could try using indesign.
    I have found this will create a much more compact PDF then illustrator.
    and is much better at dealing with text

  • Print multiple pdf from web site

    Hello everyone!!,
    I need print multiple pdf from web site (web page) to the local printer o client printer.
    I have investigated : cfexecuted, java code, javascript, but i can't do it.
    The idea is don´t open printer dialog box for to print.
    Thanks.

    It is NOT POSSIBLE (for security reasons) to do silent printing in this way.  (you wouldn't want to visit a web site and have your printer start spewing out page after page of profanity, would you??)
    You can, however, offer the user the choice to print and then have it print.  That can easily be done by embedding JavaScript into the PDF to be printed.  If you have multiple documents, you should merge them together on the server first and then send a single document.

  • Automize Create a PDF From Web Page

    I am trying to create PDF's from a list of 100+ web pages / URLs.
    I would like to automize the process as to save me time.
    (I have been doing some research but I am a newbie when it comes to programing / scripting / coding)
    My questions are
    1) Is it possible to write a script to execute Acrobat's Create PDF from Web Page option in order to automize a long list of URLs?
    Something along the lines of .bat file (reading something like)
    acrobat.exe "http://www.google.com" "%CD%\GoogleTest.pfd"
    acrobat.exe "http://www.yahoo.com" "%CD%\YahooTest.pdf"
    2) If it is possible to script / automize Acrobat's Create PDF from Web Page can you lead me to the right direction as to what programs I need to write a script (if any) and any examples of how the script would be written would be extremely helpful
    Thank you for your time

    You can post your question in the forum for Acrobat Scripting or Acrobat SDK.

  • Display logo In PDF output ( Spool to PDF output )

    Hi Experts,
    In my requirement i am using 'REUSE_ALV_GRID' to display logo.
    In our functionality we are executing report in background and we are converting spool into PDF output. Now our requirement is to display LOGO in PDF output.
    Any pointers on this are appreciated.
    Regards,
    Bhanu.R

    Hello,
    Use the top-of-page parameter of the FM 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY' and use the FM REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE to add the logo to the I_LOGO export parameter to get the logo in the ALV output. Now convert this to spool and to pdf and you can get the logo in the pdf as well

  • Errors in Export to PDF for web use - some images are lost when PDF is enlarged & in browser

    I have a multi-page PDF in InDesign CS6 that I want to export to view on the web. I need the file to stay under 2MB, and I need it to be crisp and nice enough to read the type on the page (as small as 9pt type).
    The errors that are occurring are the following:
    On some browsers, some images will entirely not show up. Some of the missing images have been pasted into the document, some placed. I cannot think of a correlation.
    When the PDF is enlarged (Adobe Acrobat X 10.1.10) to more than ~200%, there is one placed image that will mostly disappear. What I mean by "mostly" is that little bits of it are still visible, like I masked it carelessly or something. Since this is only occurring with one image it seems that it would be a problem with the image itself, yes? I'm all ears if I'm making a mistake. It is a placed .ai file with no link errors. Should I not be placing directly from illustrator? It renders wonderfully from 100% all the way up to 188%, and then if you enlarge by margins of 1% little bits of it disappear, almost a chunk at a time.
    The way I've been exporting is:
    File > Export > Adobe PDF (Print)
    Adobe PDF Preset: Smallest File Size
    Standard: None
    Compatinility: Acrobat 6 (PDF 1.5)
    Options: Optimize for Fast Web View
    Export Layers: Visible & Printable Layers
    Compression
    I always change the downsampling from [100/150] to [150/225]. I usually leave the JPG image quality low. I leave both bottom boxes checked (compress text and line art, crop image data to frames)
    Output
    Color Conversion: convert to destination
    Destination: sRGB 1EC61966-2.1
    Profile Inclusion Policy: Include Destination Profile
    However, after reading a few other forum questions I started trying to export as Acrobat 4 so that it would flatten. When I do that, problem #2 still persists although I didn't test problem #1. I haven't tried using Distiller, and using the "prepare for web publishing" action within Acrobat itself makes the PDF too artifacted.
    At the heart of my question is this: I am a young designer at an old company that is not necessarily keeping up with the times. I REALLY want to know what the best, most efficient way to export a pdf for web viewing is. Does this exist in InDesign, outside of InDesign? Does it exist at all? Tell me what I'm doing wrong so that I can get better!
    Thank you in advance.

    Show Large Images is a preference inside of Acrobat which might be disabled.

  • PDF Portfolio - Web links do not work

    Hello,
    I created a PDF with web links from a Word document. The links worked correctly in the PDF. I then imported the PDF into a portfolio (Acrobat X Professional, using the Grid layout). When I opened the PDF in preview mode the links no longer worked.
    I need a way to either make the links work in preview mode in the portfolio, or to have it so that when you double click on the file it opens up outside of the portfolio.  Any help with achieving this would be greatly appreciated?
    Thank you!

    Hi,
    Would you try this experiment so that we can diagnose the problem?
    On your Windows or Mac desktop computer, would you open the PDF document in Reader and check the General Preferences?
    Preferences > General > Basic Tools > Create links from URLs.  Is the "Create links from URLs" check box selected?  (It is selected by default.)
    Would you deselect it, close the PDF document, and reopen the PDF document?  Do the links still work in the desktop version of Reader?

  • How to include non web pages to the "Create PDF from Web Page" feature?

    In Acrobat Pro (v. 10), when I use the "Create PDF from Web Page" feature, it works great for html pages, but it skips non-html links (doc, pdf, ppt, xls, etc). I need Acrobat Pro to convert those files and put them in the order as well. I don't see an option for this in settings. Is there ANY way I can do this? This is for an archiving purpose and I have 10,000 plus files to convert. Please help.

    This is a question i'm trying to answer too. My issue is that I have a PDF file which itself contains links to both DOC and PDF files. The end result is that I need one consolidated PDF containing all the linked files (in order).
    I can run the "create from web page" on this PDF file, and it'll download them, but not convert them. It just adds them as "jumbled" text to the end of the document. I need it to download, convert, and then append them.
    So, as isunshine3 asked above, any way to have Adobe convert the files that it finds linked when running the "create from web page"?
    THanks
    Matt

  • Cannot View PDF in Web Browser error

    Using windows XP sp3 has adobe reader 9 on it...
    Installing Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro extended was trouble prone enough, but now there is more...
    When trying to open a PDF in a browser window, you get the following dialog error message (sample site:http://support.apple.com/manuals/#iphone)
    "The Adobe Acrobat/Reader that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a Web Browser.
    Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Please exit and try again."
    For the cost of this program, I expected better. The above was not a problem before installing Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro extended.
    Please advise.
    Thanks
    bob

    I did a google search and found a fix that was a bunch of registry entries that worked for me:

    It is just anoying to spend this kind of money on a piece of software and have so many problems out of the box.
    Yes, I have run the updater software.
    What is the phone number for adobe support?

  • Opening PDF in Web Browser(IE)

    Hi,
    I have written a program to download PDF file. When user will click on "Download" link, PDF file should open in web browser IE itself. Currently file is opening in separate window. I am creating this PDF file run time and it is not stored in harddisk. In Acrobar Reader, I have checked the check box "Display PDF in browser". Despite this it is opening in separate window.
    I have written following code:
    byte abyte0[] = pdfGenerator.generatePDF(getXslFile(instancedata), new String(instancedata.requestResult.message, "UTF-8"));
    httpservletresponse.setHeader("Cache-Control", "no-cache");
    httpservletresponse.setHeader("Cache-Control", "max-age=0");
    httpservletresponse.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "inline; filename=" + instancedata.userId + "_" + System.currentTimeMillis() + ".pdf");
    httpservletresponse.setContentType("application/pdf");
    String s = new String(abyte0, "UTF-8");
    servletoutputstream = httpservletresponse.getOutputStream();
    servletoutputstream.write(abyte0, 0, abyte0.length);
    servletoutputstream.flush();
    Kindly suggest what is required to open PDF in Web browser (IE).
    Regards,
    Dev

    I don't see anything wrong here offhand.
    In your download link, you aren't using target="new" or anything, are you?

  • PDF for Web & Mobile Devices?

    Hey There,
    My boss and I recently attended an Expo for CS 5.5 and were blown away by all the new animations features for Web. We however are not in the business of creating web books, we only wanted to create a dynamic PDF for our website and then also for mobile devices like iPads, etc. However, we've discovered the animation is all Flash based and therefore useless for mobile devices. Is there any way around that? What is your suggestion for exporting useful PDFs for Web and Mobile Devices?

    There’s a big difference in what you want, Joel and what the OP asked for.
    For plain old vanilla PDF, you should be fine, but the OP is worried about people needing to download something for EPUB when in reality that’s less of an issue than PDF.
    There are no stock PDF readers on many tablets and the ones that are there have limited or no interactive capabilities and the better ones like GoodReader are not free.
    BTW, I’m not suggesting EPUB as a replacement but without seeing the actual documents in question and knowing the audience and budget, I really can’t give you a better answer.

  • Create PDF from Web page using Acrobat X - Page Order

    I have a structured web site that is in fact Program Help The web pages are structured as follows:
    index.html - Main Topic Index page with links to all topic subject index pages
    topic/index.html - Topic Subject Index Page with links to all subject pages
    topic/subject.html - Subject page
    .....etc
    Using Acrobat 5 "Create PDF from Web Page" created a perfect logical PDF  page structure in the page order of of the web site. In Acrobat 5 page 1  was the Main Topic Index Page, page 2 was the 1st Topic Subject Index  Page, page 3 was the 1st Subject Page, then the 2nd subject of the 1st  Topic, etc. until the Topic Subjects were exhausted after which the 2nd  Topic Subject Index Page and so it went on. As a result the bookmark  structure was sensible. The page order was as follows:
    Main Topic Contents
    Topic 1 Contents
    Subject 1 of Topic 1
    Subject 2 of Topic 1
    Topic N Contents
    Subject 1 of Topic N
    Subject 2 of Topic N
    Acrobat X (just purchased) produces a differently structured PDF from the same HTML pages. The order is:
    Main Topic Contents
    Topic 1 Contents
    Topic 2 Contents
    Topic N Contents
    Main Topic Contents (a second time)
    Subject 1 of Topic 1
    Subject 2 of Topic 1
    Subject N of Topic 1
    Subject 1 of Topic 2
    Subject 2 of Topic 2
    Subject N of Topic N
    Question: Is there any way I can get back with Acrobat X the same page order I got with Acrobat 5?
    Any help appreciated. The website is www.caliach.com/caliach/vision/help/index.html
    Chris

    Acrobat is using the underlying mark up of the rendered HTML page.
    This may or may not provide an adequate input to Acrobat when it is noodling out how and what to tag.
    I suspect you may find that, to obtain an adequately tagged PDF, you may have to capture the web page content with the create bookmarks and create tags options off.
    Once you have the PDF make working copies.
    Try letting Acrobat tag this already created PDF to see what happens.
    You may have to manually tag the PDF.
    n.b., The default read order for western language can be altered by user selections in the accesibility setup or by selection in the PDF page(s) Page Properties.
    Be well...

  • File, create PDF, from web page, entire site...questions

    I am new to adobe, is this the proper forum for Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro for macintosh?  I think yes...
    Created a PDF from:  File, create PDF, from web page, entire site.
    Is there a way to print this without the background color?  If you printed from a browser, you could choose not to print the back ground color.  I know exactly the color.
    Is there a way to make this PDF look like the web, with no page breakes?  I have tried various things, but the page breaks are always displayed.
    Is there a way to create bookmarks on somthing other than the title tag in the web site?  The title tag is an SEO 1 sentence summary of the page, which makes for very long book mark names.
    Thanks for your help.

    I don't use v9, but what I would do is click the FILE--PRINT option, print to PDF, and enter to print one page (default is first page)
