Logo in stxbitmaps but not accessible in se78

Hi,
I loaded a logo in SE78 and attached it to a transport.
Transport has been sent to QAS.
When I look at se78 in qas I see that there are 4 logos there (3 old ones and my new one).
But when I click on the new one it tells me that the graphic does not exist.
It is in STXBITMAPS.
The F4 list details for each logo looks the same except that the new one has no 'Author' or 'Changed by' entry:

Just to 'pay it forward' we stumbled on this post and it fixed a transport issue we had. Perfect! Glad SAP keeps around forum posts for a long time!!

Apologies, I have asked this in ABAP General too. I forgot how quickly those questions disappear off the first screen.

no description was on the logo. Saved it with a description and re-transported. okay now.

Photos visible in iPhoto application but not accessible for upload

Any help anyone can provide with this is greatly appreciated. I took pictures of a friends wedding and have been trying to order a photobook as a gift. I decided to try to use iPhoto to make the book. I don't use iPhoto very often and at the start of this, my iMac was running on the Tiger OS and an old version of iPhoto (I think 5 or 6). After completing the first version of my photobook, I tried to place an order, but got a message that my version of iPhoto wasn't supported any longer and I'd have to upgrade.
I called the Apple store and ordered the Mac Box Set to upgrade my operating system to Snow Leopard and my iLife to version 11. The woman at the Apple store had me check my system info., available space, etc. and she assured me that my system should be able to handle the upgrade. I went ahead with the upgrade, loading the new operating system first and then iLife. The install seemed to go just fine, I never got any error messages and all the applications appear to function properly. So, I used the new version of iPhoto to create a photobook. I then placed the order the first time. On my end the process went smoothly and the upload completed without interruption. However, I got an e-mail message 4 days later saying my order couldn't be completed because files did not upload properly. So, I tried to place the order again, following the instructions to make sure that all my other applications were closed, etc. Once again the process seemed to be completed without any issues. However, now a week later, I once again got the error message that my order could not be completed because files did not upload properly.
So, I decided to try to place an order through a different vendor. Now I have discovered that all my recent photos (despite appearing in the iPhoto) are not accessible when I try to access them for upload to the vendor's site. The icon for iPhoto library is grayed out and there is no longer an option to access my photo rolls through finder. So, now I am unable to place the order for the photobook.
Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this? Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Nothing to be fixed. Just a little learning for you.
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File: a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected. 3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

Officejet pro 8500A connected via wireless, but not accessible....

I can t access my officejet pro printer via wifi, after a firmware upgrade last week. I can print however from my iPad, but not from my laptop. Both are connected to the same wireless signal. I can see in my printer and router that both are connected. When I connect the printer via a cable to the router, it works.
As said, I lost this after firmware update.
I tried:
Update the software on my laptop : no Improvement
Switch on/off the router, printer, laptop : no improvement....
Can anybody help? Would a downgrade offirmware help? Anybody familiar with this problem?

The workgroup shouldn't matter. It's strange that the printer will communicate with the laptop as long as one of them is connected via Ethernet to the router. It shouldn't be doing that at all. It has to be something in the router. I know you mentioned using a different router and it worked just fine. Problem is I'm not sure why this router isn't working right. I'm sure the printer is out of warranty, which is why I'm sure you came to the forums first, but you may need to contact HP tech support. They should be able to remote in and find the setting that's blocking communication. II'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link will take you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it out and it is processed, it will give you the printers warranty information, a case number, and the phone number to call.

How can I install downloads which are IN the download file, but not accessible or usable?

I often get the message to download a new flash player.
I click on the download button and nothing happens.
I tried disabling the firewall on Firefox. I still couldn't get the flash player to download.

I received my new Macbook Pro today and have attempted to sync my iphone 4s with it, unfortunately like a bit of a moron I've ended up wiping all my music on my iphone.
I have then gone into Itunes and re-downloaded all my previous purchases (music tracks). They have all appeared in my music library but all but 4 are greyed out, will not play and will not allow me to do anything with them!
Can anyone help me, help the Mac newby sort his life out! I'd be lost without them and more to the point would have lost a fortune in music I'd paid for if I couldn't get them back!!

roaminggnome, it is normal and expected for the iPod to show in My Computer on a PC. That is part of the computer recognizing it as a camera for getting photos off the iPod.

Shared Library shows as shared but not accessible...progress bar grinds

I have home sharing enabled and it works great between several computers on my home network. However the library on 1 machine is shared and the library will show up as shared on the other machines, but when selected the progress bar just grinds for an extended period of time until it stops and just goes back to showing the host machine library....will not show the contents of the shared library of the 1 machine, only will show that it is shared. Same results from different computers trying to see share on that machine. Using the suspect machine we can see shares on the others. The size of the library on the suspect is large (3000+ songs)....is there a size limit for sharing?

I don't know the answer. I just wanted to jump in and say I'm experiencing the same problem. We have a MacBook Pro and two Windows laptops on home sharing. One of the Windows laptops can load my library with no problem. I can see the two Windows laptop libraries under Shared (with the house icon) in iTunes, but the library's won't load. The progress bar just grinds away until it times out.
I've quit and restarted iTunes. I've turned Home Sharing off and back on. My husband (owner of one of the Windows laptops) deauthorized all computers through iTunes and I reauthorized to his account through Home Sharing.
Nothing has worked so far.

Plugin "Enabled" but Not Accessible

I've just installed a few plugins and I'm having a heck of a time getting one of the plugins to actually show up when using the "plugins extra" submenu.
The plugin I'm talking about is the Porturature plugin from Imagenomic. My plugin manager indicates that the plugin is enabled, I simply can't see it show up when I try and actually use it. Also note (see attached screenshot) that when the Porturature plugin is highlighted, the "remove" button is greyed out; this does not happen with the other two plugins are highlighted.
I'm using an iMac 3.06Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM. I'm using the latest version of LR (2.5) all running under OS 10.5.8
This is pretty frustrating; I know this isn't rocket science, so it must be something fundamentally easy that I'm overlooking. Any help much appreciated.

The Plugin is meant to be used, as Sean's URL shows, as an "edit in." But it doesn't show up in that menu either. If it shows in the "edit in" menu then it will show in the plugin extras.
There is a SEPARATE plugin that works ONLY in export mode (less features, intended mostly for batch pre-set processing). I have that plugin installed and that one DOES work correctly, i.e., when you use the "export as preset" option.
This is the first plugin I've tried to install and use, so as a "control" I installed another plugin (export to flickr) and sure enough, that one shows up in the "plugin extras" just as it should.
In trolling around for an answer last night I came across someone else (in Italy) that has my exact problem; his screen shot looked exactly like mine: the plugin appears to be enabled with the "remove" button greyed out. So, I'm confident this isn't some unique problem.
I'm just waiting for an answer now. I also have a "trouble ticket" in with the software maker. But I'd sure like someone here to beat them to the punch.

Merged CHM appears in Index but not accessible in TOC

I am trying to merge a single chm child topic to the parent using RH8.
In the TOC, I have created a link to the location of the child CHM (no spaces in the name). I generate the master chm the TOC entry for the child chm appears but I when I click on it, nothing happens. In the index,I can see the index entries from the child chm, however the index entries appear in quadruplicate.
I have followed the instructions - in the master created a TOC and clicked Merged project and then pointed to the generated .chm file for the child chm. I have tried having RH copy the file over to the master, and pointing directly to a copy of the child .chm in the master folder.
Can any one help? Am I doing something wrong?

How much RAM do you have in your Mac and how much free space is ther eon your hard drive? A combination of both may make that very large slideshow impossible to open. How long did you wait before force quitting?
One way to get rid of that slideshow (and all other slideshows) along with books, cards and calendars but keeping your photos with their keywords, titles, comments, faces and places is to do the following:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Imported files in LR but not accessible

I'm using LR 4 on a Mac.
I've been an LR user for three years.
I few days ago I imported 500+ images from a folder in Apple Finder into LR.
The import was successful because I deleted a few photos and made adjustments to a few right after finishing the import.
Today I went back into LR to continue working on the remaining images and the folder I imported them into is not visible.
When I search using a filename and Find under Libraray in LR, I'm told that no Photos match.
Trying to re-import the images results in a message that the photos are already in LR!

The photos were imported into a default date folder rather than the one that I thought I had targeted.

Firewall port open but not accessible

Hi Folks,
I am trying to open port 587 in OSX server 10.3.9. I've gone to 'Firewall --> Settings --> Advanced', clicked on the 'add' key and set up a new port as follows:
Action: allow
Protocol: tcp
Service: other
Source Address: any; Port: 587
Desintation Address: any; Port 587
Interface: other
Doing this will NOT result in port 587 opening. I know it's not open because if I turn the firewall service 'OFF', I can access that port. However, with the service 'ON', I can't get through.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Your rule is too specific.
You're telling the firewall to allow traffic that is coming from port 587 on the remote machine to port 587 on your machine.
AFP connections only use a destination port of 587. The source port could be any available port number on the remote system, and would probably never be less than 1024.
Change the rule so that 'Source address' is 'any' and you should be fine.

Library on a now-external harddrive, but not accessible

My G5 went kaput, and the harddrive is now external, attached to my G4. Both have iTunes. G4 version seems unable to import from G5; the G5 version won't launch at all. I'm searching for the music folder right now, and have been poking at this problem for a few months.

The iTunes app can only be installed on a drive that has an installed system.
It is problematic to run 2 different versions of the iTunes app - if that is what you are trying to do.
With an update the iTunes library file undergoes changes. So if you launch and older version of iTunes and direct it to a updated Library file then you will likely get a dialog that indicates that iTunes cannot read the Library file.
Launch iTunes with the 'option' key down and you can point iTunes to the Library that you want to open. Launch with newest version of iTunes.
The default location of iTunes music files is HD>User>Music>iTunes>iTunes Music.
Is there a reason that you are still on OSX 10.4.1?

I have reset the phone, full firmware restore, even downgraded back from firmware 4.2.1 to .3.1.3 official by using dfu mode and still doesnt fix.
(i correctly got out of dfu mode after the downgrade)
i can enter dfu mode and recovery, and update through itunes with no problem, but it doesnt fix the problem,
i have searched and found no answer to this problem, every option availible to try that i know of i have tried and failed. i dont care about preserving my content i just want a fix. i have a good understanding how to operate software on a computer and shouldnt be too confused by any advice given, so plz even if the answer is very complex i wish to try anything, please help me to get my iphone working.

You shouldn't have to change your iTunes account to not have to purchase it twice. If your devices are using different iTunes IDs, just purchase it on one device, then import it to your iTunes library by connecting the device to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Once in iTunes, you should be able to sync it to your other device (assuming both devices are syncing with the same iTunes library). (And even if they were syncing with separate libraries, you could use Home Sharing to copy the app from one library to the other.)
Or, am I missunderstanding something?
