Hi everyone,
i have made my logo on www.sportbasen.dk (its a Danish website, so you maybe wont understand what there stand) but i have made the logo in photoshop. I thinks its OKAY - but is there something there is really bad or could be made better?

Well, the least you could have done is actually insert a clickable link. http://www.www.sportbasen.dk.
Still, for security reasons, many users are reluctant to visit unknown sites.

CCM 4.1(3) cluster within head office. We created the 7912 logo for system default image. However, the remote site 7912 phones, need to use a different logo other than the head office.

We can create the 7912 logo, but how can we setup two or more different 7912 logos for different sites?
We noticed on CCM4.1(3), there is idle URL for 7912 phone, what is the callmanager default link for this URL? I am thinking to use different logo file names, and put the related URL on this parameters for remote site 7912 phones.
Could someone let me know or any other better way to do?

This should work just the way you have described. Have a look;
Idle
Enter the URL that displays on the Cisco IP Phone display when the phone has not been used for the time that is specified in Idle Timer field. For example, you can display a logo on the LCD when the phone has not been used for 5 minutes.
Leave this field blank to accept the default setting.
Idle Timer (seconds)
Enter the time (in seconds) that you want to elapse before the URL that is specified in the Idle field displays.
Leave this field blank to accept the value of the Idle URL Timer enterprise parameter.

Here how on CCM;
Method 1:
Choose System > Enterprise Parameters so that the change is propagated to all of the phones from the Cisco CallManager Administration page.
In the URL Idle field, enter http://IP_address_of_CallManager/CCMCIP/filename.xml.
In the URL Idle Time field, enter any positive value in seconds.
Method 2:
Choose Device > Phone under the Cisco IP Phone configuration so that only this phone displays the graphics from the Cisco CallManager Administrator page.
Choose the phone/phones on which you want to put the display.
In the Idle field, enter the path http://IP_address_of_CallManager/CCMCIP/filename.xml.
In the Idle Timer field, enter any positive value in seconds.

Most sites listed in "history" have the logo of that site beside it. Some have a "blank" square. What is the difference?

There are some sites listed in my history that I know that I did not lookup. I am wondering if perhaps these are pop-up sites that were not actually accessed or if someone else has been looking up sites on my computer. The sites in question have a "symbol" beside it that looks like a blank square drawn with a dotted line. Sites that I know that I have visited have a logo representing that site.

Not the browser title.
Anyway, there is a textbox out of view that holds the title :
Beats me what it is doing there, but here is the oft repeated explanation :
iWeb uses the textbox in the Header layer of an iWeb page as the title in the browserwindow.
If the textbox in the Header is missing, iWeb uses a textbox down the page in the Content layer. If that textbox is also missing, it uses another textbox. If that fails it uses the pagename in the Sidebar. To replace a missing textbox in the Header, choose another theme and then change it back to the original one.
Sometimes you may want a different text in the titlebar and not display it on the page itself. Or not display it at all.
So use that textbox in the Header layer. Type your text. Do Command-T to open the font palette and make the font smaller (Or do Command--(minus)). Then select the textbox. In the Inspector choose T, click a color to open the color palette and drag the opacity slider to 0 (zero).
Resize the textbox. You may want to change the height of the Header layer.
Do Command-Shift-B to move the textbox to the back, possibly behind other objects.
Next add a optional second textbox to the Header layer and use that one to display text on the page.
If you want to move the textbox to the front again to make changes, but can't remember the location on the page, drag the area with the mouse to select the objects.
Deselect objects you do not want to move forward by Command-dragging the mouse over these objects.
Next do Command-Shift-F to move the textbox to the front. Repeat the steps in reverse order to make the text visible.

Changing site collections logos across all site collections

HI All,
I need to change the logo across all site collections, which are around 300-400, so don't intend to do this manually.
My question is, will simply replacing the current logo in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE....
with the logo I want to change to, and naming it exactly the same as the current logo, not achieve this?
I have searched online and people run PS to achieve this, but in my head the above seems to be work, please correct me?

I completely agree with Alex and not suggest to touch/change root folder. Initially it might looks easy but it may create issue.
My option is to BRAND the sites. Master page branding is not a new concept and it mainly use for unanimous look and feel

I have a cleaner copy now after someone suggested GIMP, so played with it last night - though couldn't figure out transparency - that was clear on converter- just not cooperative till these wonderful directions.
So now I know how to do it without messing with the pic, and with messing with it - both good lessons and got a bit brighter color out of the deal.

Want to add company logo in sharepoint site 2013 login page..

I am trying to setup a customize SharePoint login page with company logo, while searching I found that it requires FBA authentication enabled which I did. now I have challenge, how to add company logo in SharePoint login page so while heats to site users should
able to see company logo on the login page. I would like to use AD accounts only to login. I do not need FBA authentication..

The "verisign" logo for secured sites is missing from the status/addon bar. How can I get it back?

Whenever I used to sign it to ebay, the "verisign" logo would show red/unsecured. A refresh of the page would reload with a secure setting.
I can no longer see the logo anywhere but refresh out of habit anyway hoping it is then secure on the next load.
If the logo showed for any other sites/pages I wouldn't know.
Is there a way to get it back so I feel safer?

Firefox has a built-in security indicator, but it has changed. The status bar was redesigned out of Firefox, so now you use the area to the left of the address (green, blue, or plain) to check whether the site is secure.

If you were using an add-on from Verisign, its icon might be on the Add-ons toolbar. You can turn that on using:
View menu > Toolbars > Add-ons Toolbar
If you have the orange Firefox button, tap the Alt key to temporarily display the classic menu bar.

Website logo needs to sit on top of backgropund image with no box

I am trying to create a logo with a transparnt background for my website, so my logo can sit on top of background images. I have created different file, png, gif, eps all with transparent backgrounds but everytime I upload it to my website builder (wix) it has either a grey or white background. Can someone advise on how I would ahcieve the correct file?

Presuming you are referring to the large grey box, I agree with Gonzalogxg.
If you are referring to what appears to be a white fringe, it should only occur in GIF and only if you have a Matte colour different from the background, but not in PNG and EPS.

How to create 3D logo which have 2 pictures in one photo for my site logo

Hi, I don't think I'm totally sure what you want, but one work around for making a 2d image 3d is to make it a 3d layer in after effects and then duplicate it a lot of times, offsetting the copies in z-depth, so that it builds up and extruded look.
Alternatively, if you have CS6, and the logo as a vector, you can copy the path from illustrator, and paste it into after effects as a mask. You can then copy the mask path into a shape layer, switch the AE renderer from classic to ray-traced, then use the geometry options on the layer to extrude it in 3d. If you dont have CS6, I've also used the repeater effect in shape layers to again make many duplicates of the same shape which will make a sort of 'fake' 3d extrusion.
Also I think photoshop and illustrator both have rudimentary 3D extrusion options, but I've never really used them. I would hedge bets that after effects does it better, and I also use cinema 4d which would beat after effects!

View the site logo on Safari tabs

I have been using Firefox up to now, but today I have decided to give Safari a go (on certain sites Firefox keeps downloading automatically some files, which is annoying).
On Firefox, you can see the logo of the site you are visiting on the top corner of the window, which is really helpful. In fact, if you have several tabs open and you need to skip from a tab to another, the logo on the tab helps you to spot the right tab immediately. .
It seems that Safari does not have the logo on the windows/tabs. Is there a way to add them? Am I missing anything?

Use Glims like K.S. wrote. I use it since the first version and it's free and stable. You can install the Lite version only, it does include the search engines and those icons in the tabs.
