Logoff link in standard OBN iView

Dear all,
User is complaining because when they open an OBN link they receive in their mail, there is no logoff button, so their login is stored in cookies and if they open a new IE window, the login details from the OBN iview are taken.
Is there a way to open the OBN iView with a Portal Masthead on top so the users can logoff when they are done with the iView?
Thanks and kind regards,
Sergio

  • Can i add a "print" link in standard KM iViews??

    Hi All,
    I have done some Portal development.
    I am new to KM.
      I have some doubts:
    1.       I want to develop custom News Component, Discussion Group & Discussions etc.. What perspective I should use? I mean, is it PDK? Or is there something else?
    2.       In a standard KM iView (for ex: in a news iView), can I add a link called print (say) to print the whole content in the iView? Or should I have to make a custom development for that.
                Please tell me what I should refer to. Any classes like IRoom, IDisscussionGroup etc..????

  • Issue with Refresh link avaiable in standard UWL iView

    Hi All,
    We have added the custom column "Comment" in the Tasks tab of UWL iView.In the Tasks tab we can view some rows in the table.When we click on one row it is opening the ABAP ADOBe forms.In this Form when we change the text for the field Comment and click on save button in adobe form then we can see the new text in SWI1 tcode for the work item id. But in portal the new text is not appearing in the custom comment column.If we click on Refresh link (this link is the standard link available in UWL iview) also the new text is not appearing.
    After clearing UWL Cashe from System Admin role after that we can able to see the new text in the comment column.
    If in Adobe form after changing the text we click on Check and Send button then on portal UWL automatically new text is appearing in commnet column.In this case no UWL cacshe release is required.
    Please find the attched document
    Can you please provide me the inputs why refersh link is not working to show the updated /modifiedd text in the comment column?

  • Need one more field in standard solman iview

    Hi All,
    I need to add one more field in my standard solman iview which gives only 4 fields and 1 radio button. I require 5 fields and one radio button.
    How can I add an additional field in standard iview?
    Is there any other solman iview which I can use?
    Please Advise.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Shreya,
    you should have system administrator role to work with par file.
    go to system administration -support-portal runtimeBrowse deployment-look for something com.sap.portalepsolman.par.bak and download it.
    you can import that into NWDS and start modifying the jsp files.
    When you import par files into NWDS jar file will be missing in the directory strucuture so you need to add it manually.once you do the changes deploy the par file from NWDS and upload it Portal using system administration-support-portal runtime-administration console-upload

  • Modify standard Java Iview ?

    Hello,
    I would like to modify in our system (EP 6 SP 2) the standard MSS Iview "General Data" by deleting some information and adding some specific data.
    I have questions about the following steps:
    - with a Java Developer Role, where can I get the .par file in the portal?
    - with the .par file, could I import it in NWDS or could I modify it directly by decompiling the java classe?
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Jerome.

    Hi Jerome,
          Changes to the MSS business package should be performed using NWDI as these iViews were developed using webdynpro.Please refer my blog for more details,

  • Webdynpro iView link to role specific iView  Navigation

    Hi Friends,
    I have links in my WebDynpro iView.
    When I click on Link, I get popupwindow.
    in one role, user will be able to see the popup in editable form
    in another role, user will see the popup as displaying information only.
    This iView  needs to be integrated in Portal.
    How should it be done:-
    1. create two iView's:- one with display popup, another with editable popup window on click of the link.
    in this case, two iView's will be created , and will be integrated in portal with different roles.
    2. create one iView.. common.
    and, instead of popup, create another IView.
    in this case, how to access another iView of link clicked window... to display popup one for display, another for update.
    in this case.. first page will be common for both roles, the second iView.. will be different
    If want to implement in this way, how to access another iView as per role from the link of an iView.

    Hello Xperts,

  • Logoff Link go to 2 different URLs

    Hi Portal Knowledgeable Ones,
    I am running EP 6.0 SP13.  For portal authentication, we use IBM's IDM infrastructure.
    Our portal is used by internal users (intranet) and external users (internet).  For internal users, portal authentication is performed by our central authentication service.  For external users, authentication is performed by the portal's native capabilities.
    I have a problem with the Logoff Link.
    When internal users logoff, I need to redirect to the logoff URL for the central authentication system.  However, when external users logoff, I need to redirect to simply a static URL because nothing more than logging of the portal is necessary.
    How do I make the Logoff Link go to 2 different URLs, depending on user type?  Currently, I have 2 portal frameworks, one for internal, and one for external.  Can I utilize that somehow?
    Thanks,
    Kevin
    When internal users enter the internal portal URL, the request is directed to our central authentication system.

    Hi Kevin,
    The masthead is defined in the HeaderiView.jsp in the com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead portal application.
    In this JSP there is:
    GetLogoffURL method that gets the logoff URL.
    isAnonymous method that determines if the user is anonymous.
    Use these two to supply 2 different URLs.
    Hope this helps.

  • Bpm UWL iview , it is possile to use BPM UWL iview instead of standard UWL iview?

    Hi
    It is possible to use BPM UWL iview instead of standard UWL iview?
    if yes then how?
    thanks in advance

    Hi Radhesh,
    If you need to get some BPM skills then try the BPM space itself or better yet the Process Orchestration space has the most recent materials by checking out the materials in  http://scn.sap.com/community/process-orchestration
    Apart from that the BPM forum can help you, but it's always best to post one question at a time.
    Perhaps you could be clearer about what you are looking for?
    Is it an approach to the process?
    Is it how to call the backend system?
    Is it how to work with the user interfaces?
    Think about it carefully and then start a new discussion for each issue.
    Rgds,

  • Oracle apps 11i - customization in Create Timecard link in Standard OTL page

    Hi everyone,
    I have got a requirement to add some functionalities in oracle 11i - Create Timecard link in standard OTL page .Mentioned below is the Requirement.
    When the engineer clicks the 'Save' button in the create timecard link in OTL page, it should save the time card and check the status of the timecard.If the specific timecard being saved is either "approved" or
    "submitted", a pop-up notification should warn the Engineer.
    Warning:
    "Warning – By clicking yes, all previously submitted versions of this timecard will be retracted. The Timecard will need to be resubmitted and reapproved. Are you sure you wish to continue? Yes, No"
    If engineer clicks YES, then an email notification should send to engineer and Manager ,notifying them that the timecard has been retracted and will need to be resubmitted.
    If the timecard has never been saved before or is currently pending or rejected let the engineer save the timecard without showing the warning and normal process should follow.
    Can anyone help me out here.I wanted to know the complexity of the issue.
    Which method should be adopted to do this.? Can anyone tell me which logic needs to be implemented here.
    Thanks,
    Sukanya

    Hi Kristofer,
    When the Employee pressed the Save button and if the status of timecard is Approved/Submitted , a popup should display.
    I have created a page with two buttons (Yes and No) with  warning  "By clicking yes, all previously submitted versions of this timecard will be retracted. The Timecard will need to be resubmitted and reapproved. Are you sure you wish to continue?"..
    If Employee pressed Yes...I need to save the timecard and normal process should follow..
    Here even if I called the PFR of the TimecardListCO(Standard) controller, It's not working.
    Is there a way to create the page dynamically with two buttons ?So that I can write the code in the extended controller itself rather than creating a new page.
    Which method should I follow to implement this?
    Kindly provide your suggestion...
    Thanks,
    Sukanya

  • Standard ESS iViews for ECM module

    Hi,
    Regarding the compensation management module, there are several standard ESS iViews delivered by SAP:
    For instance the "<i>Displaying a Total Compensation Statement</i>" in Business Package for Employee Self-Service (mySAP ERP 2004).
    As we are setting up Enterprise Compensation Management, I would like to know whether these iViews will also be delivered for ECM. I have checked all Business Package documentation but did not find any standard ESS iViews for ECM.
    For MSS, I have found the MSS_60_1_EN.pdf documentation which contains a lot of MSS ECM information. No ESS info unfortunately.
    Thanks in advance.
    MvdM

    The TCS iView is only part of ESS BP and basically uses the ess/rem DC to generate the report framework that shows the output as Adobe PDF. The TCS itself is implemented in the backend with the form builder (/hrforms) - same approach as salary statement. Employees can view their salary statemetn or TCS. In ECM you have managers working with employee data and normally you don't want to display managers this type of information of their employees - but that depends off cause on your requirements. It is not too difficult to build a custom TCS service for managers and integrate it with ECM.

  • Data in table control not seen for the Standard Transaction Iview

    Hi
    I am creating one Standard Transaction Iview for CATS .
    While doing print preview in IE 6 , I am not able to see data in Table control(Data Entry Area ).
    Can you please provide me the solution for how I can see the data in Table Control
    Regards
    Ruturaj

    Hi David,
    I too struggled a lot to find the solution ....atlast got it....It possible by exporting and importing the table control values to Database Index.
    1. AT SELECTION SCREEN OUTPUT event  triggers when you SAVE and GET the variant.
    2. So write the logic in AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT event.
    CONSTANTS: c_vari TYPE char30 VALUE
                             '(SAPLSVAR)RSVAR-VARIANT'.
      FIELD-SYMBOLS: <lfs_vari> TYPE ANY.
      ASSIGN: (c_vari) TO <lfs_vari>.
      IF sy-subrc = 0.
        IF <lfs_vari> IS NOT INITIAL.
          IF ok_code = 'SPOS'.
            EXPORT gt_chars[] TO DATABASE vari(tc) ID <lfs_vari>.
          ELSEIF ok_code = space.
            IMPORT gt_chars[] FROM DATABASE vari(tc) ID <lfs_vari>.
          ENDIF.
        ENDIF.
      ENDIF.
    In the above logic if OK_CODE is 'SPOS', that is for saving the variant with the name <lfs_vari>.
    Similarly if the OK_CODE is other than, 'GET'....that is for retrieving the variant. But in case of getting the variant OK_CODE is not filled with 'GET', but variant will be filled. We should take variant filling as base and do as done above.
    It worked for me.....

  • How can we fetch the information from standard ItemDetails iView of SAP MDM

    Hi Portal/MDM experts,
    Is there any chance to fetch the information from standard ItemDetails iView? if it is possible please tell me the process.
    If it's not, how can we customize the ItemDetails iView using java WebDynpro .
    my requirement is, I have to fetch some of information from itemdetails iview and it'll be used in other WebDynpro  application, means we have fetch some details from itemdetails iview and populate them in another application. Please suggest me the procedure to do this.
    Regards,
    Mahi.

    Hi Mahi,
    Please follow the below steps:
    1. Create the Result Set iView.
    2. Select the Custom Events button and Add the Custom Event
    3. Select Event Type=EPCF
    4. Give Event Name=EpfcTest and Namespace=urn:com.sap.tc.webdynpro.mdm.epfc.test
    5. Select the desired fields to be passed to the WebDynpro application and give the parameter name.
    6. Save the iView
    7. Create WebDynpro application and write the below code.
    public void wdDoInit()
        //@@begin wdDoInit()
    namespace = "urn:com.sap.tc.webdynpro.mdm.epfc.test";
    eventname = "EpfcTest";
    WDPortalEventing.subscribe (namespace,eventname,wdThis.wdGetCatchValueAction());
        //@@end
    public void onActionCatchValue(com.sap.tc.webdynpro.progmodel.api.IWDCustomEvent wdEvent, java.lang.String dataObject )
        //@@begin onActionCatchValue(ServerEvent)
    int marked=dataObject.indexOf("=");
    String value=dataObject.substring(marked+1);
    wdContext.currentContextElement().setCatchedValue(value);
        //@@end
    variable Data Object will contain all the Mapped fileds separated by ;. You can then use the String functions to separate the parameters.

  • How can i replace the standard ESS iview with my own iview

    I want to replace standard ESS addr iview with my own WD developed by ABAP
    I added the iview(my WDA) into standard ESS addr page.
    (pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.pages/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.personal_information/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.cn/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.addr/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.addr)
    And make it visible.
    But I got this error in ESS PA addr :
    WebDynpro Exception: Application PER_ADDRESS_CN Does Not Exist
    Here is the error code :
    Error code&#65306;ICF-IE-http-c:100-u:AC_WANGFZ-l:1-s:CE1-i:SAPCE101_CE1_01-w:0-d:20070514-t:172301-v:RABAX_STATE-e:UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
    So , how can i replace the standard ESS iview with my own iview?
    Thanks

    Can you see any Javascript EPCF code in the old iView  ?  You are surely just going to have to find it  (if our hunch is correct) and analyse it and copy it into your new iView so that it functions in some way that at least does not error
