Logon to sap without password or auto-logon to sap(r/3 enterprise)

hi folks,
before release 6.xx it was possible to make logon to the system without using a password (generating a sap logon shortcut....), now it seems that this won't work anymore.
we also did this as the guidelines of sap (changing parameters in registry), but it did not work; we're using that all in a citrix terminalserver environment and we need that function for some kinde of touch-screen terminals, where an individual application should start(and make the logon to sap) after switching on the power on that terminal.
does anyone has an idea how we can do that that it works?

hmmm, I couldn't find note 59804, maybe it was removed. What did it say?
The point of note 146173 was that you can store a password in a shortcut file if you really want to do that. I think this was even added for your company in the past, Mr Schweinberger was really thankful
So you're now looking for a way to create a shortcut that does not contain a password, and will also not ask for a password during login?
Single-Sign-On comes to mind, have you investigated this?

I upgraded to Lion after Hard drive crashed and was replaced by apple even though I had Lion OSX they insisted that I upgraded which I eventually had to do.
The problem is as follows:
When PC is intially turned on the User selection screen does not appaer and the system goes straight into the first account created without password validation. All accounts setup have PW added to prevent my kids from accessing th PC. However if I loggoff the user screen appears and PW must be used. This does this on ever restart or turn on. Tried resetting & re adding the accounts but same issue occurs.
Any help on this issue will be appreciated.

Expdp without password

Hi all,
I have a problem with running expdp without providing password.
On one instance the following command works without providing password
export ORACLE_SID=DBLN
expdp / parfile=/oralog/scripts/parfiles/expdp-DBLN.par
on the other instance it doesn't work.. it asks me for username and password
export ORACLE_SID=TST
expdp / parfile=/oralog/scripts/parfiles/expdp-TST.par
UDE-00008: operation generated ORACLE error 1017
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
Both instances are running on the same machine, under same user and have the same DATA_PUMP_DIR directory.
Can anyone give me some advice how to run expdp without password. I would like to run it from crontab (not from EM).

To use that syntax (expdp /) you have to configure an Oracle user "identified externally"

Is it possible to login into the Java instance without password's input, using only my Windows workstation authorization?

I try to do an authorization to my NW 7.3 Java instance through my Windows domain authorization.
I done:
1) Create connection to LDAP-server and tested it.
2) Add windows domain certificate to TrustedCAs
3) Configure SPnego
Now, I can to login in my NW7.3 Java instance with my windows password, but however I must to input password when I open NW7.3 Java homepage.
Is it possible to login into the Java instance without password's input, using my windows workstation login/password?
What I have to do for that?
I use Windows XP on my workstation and IE 8.0.6 & Chrome 38.0.2125.

How do I delete an Apple iCloud account from my iPhone without password, security questions, or email?

For some reason, an old iD is stuck on my phone. My iPhone 4s is nearly filled with documents and data, to the point where I cannot take pictures, and I can't reset it without using this old iD. I don't know why this is now popping up instead of the one I am registered with. I gained access to the old email the iD is under, but none of the iTunes emails are coming in so I assume it is set up under a different email. For the security question of birthdays, I tried every household member's birthday, and none worked. I have tried the password we used on that account when it was active, along with every other possiblility. I don't know what to do anymore and I have very limited use of my phone if I don't get this sorted out and deleted from my phone.

Reader plug-in, save copy of password protected pdf without password

Hello,
We currently have an Acrobat Reader plugin (using the 8.1 SDK) and are having trouble with password protected PDFs.
The sole purpose of our plug-in is to pass a copy of the currently open PDF to a different folder on the user's computer. The problem we are facing is with the password protected PDFs. We would like to pass a copy of the PDF that doesn't have the readonly password protection.
Scenario:
1. The user opens a password protected PDF in Adobe Reader.
2. They are prompted for the password, they enter it and can see the PDF. 3. Now they click our custom button.
4. Save a copy of the currently open PDF without password protection
Since we already know they have entered the correct password, in theory we should be able to either save all of the content to a new file, or simply remove the password protection.
Can anyone point me in the right direction so that I will be able to get a PDF without the password?

I was doing some research in the API reference and examples and I think that for my business problem, it will be sufficient if I can get the read access password. I found that I am able to use the following:
AVCryptGetPassword(pdDoc, permsWanted, (void **)&password)
This prompts the user to enter the password and puts the actual password in the &password variable, which will will work for us. Ideally though, I would like to not have to prompt the user again for the password since they already entered when opening the pdf, is it possible to get access to the plain text of the password that they typed when opening the pdf or another way?
I tried:
StdSecurityDataRec* secData;
secData = (StdSecurityDataRec*)PDDocGetNewSecurityData (pdDoc);

The user which does not exist can login BI Answers without password

Hi I got an Issue in the BI Answers login.
Any non-exist username can login to the BI answers without password.
And the exist-user need the correct password.
Does anybody have the same issue before?
And also, any non-exist username can login to BI Answers if the password is provided as the same as username, even the user account doesn't exist.
After the non-exist user login, the system would automatilly create this user account.

Obiee 11.1.1.6 logging in without password

We have upgraded from obiee 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6. Its a linux machine.
Issue is when any user tries to log in to anlaytics, it allows user to log in without password.
For example suppose user id is
asingh and username for that user is Ajay Singh, then it allows the user to log in without entering password and it gives username after "signed in as"...
How is this authentication possible!
What log can I check for this?
And the user is able to access reports...
The process I followed was upgrade and then import security settings files from another server thats still on .5.
Please help!

Please help!Did you check the flags set on the providers in the weblogic? Make sure one of the flag's from the list of providers are set to required.

Can't have the word subtitution feature without running the auto-correction

hi everybody,
a week ago i change my bb style to z10 , and notice that I can't have word subtitution without set the auto-correction on. i don't live in a country where english is primary language, so i find this very annoying, because autotext is one of my favourite feature from my previous blackberry. I can't have the auto-correction on because it always changes what i type into something VERY different...
another problem is ringtone notification of bbm message is the same as bbm group, so it's a little bit annoying having your blackberry rings all the time because of chat in group and i have 2 active groups right now.
the third annoying thing is the numeric keypad, it always turns back to alphabet keypad everytime i hit space. it takes too long just to type 2 * 5 = 10 + 10 = 20 (for example). i wonder what i should do to keep staying in numeric mode.
i wonder if there's already solutions to my problem, maybe an app or update.
Other than those problems, i think z10 is a very good blackberry phone.

Referring admin guide as mentioned by Craig is good option.
Let me give you few steps that I did in one of my projects.
Open command prompt and navigate to the path "C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\DataRelationshipManagement\client\batch-client".. here you can see many see other utilities as well.
drm-batch-client-credentials.exe is the one used to encrypt the userid and password.
open this in command prompt and then choose the application to which you want to encrypt the password.
then remove userid and password from batch script then run it... it does what you want

According to this thread, Sender SOAP adapter without authentication
appending the username/password in the URL only work for adapters that lie on the ABAP stack. If you want, you can try using the URL in the Propose URL when generating the WSDL.
To completely remove user authentication for SOAP Adapter, read Bhavesh's reply in the thread below

Note that by doing so, all username/password authentication will be removed for all scenarios that use SOAP Adapter.

Are you able to switch between accounts without entering a user password? Automatic login is enabled for both users in account settings. However, passwords are required for both users. In security, automatic login is not disabled. Thanks

I'm not sure how this is possible. The login options can only choose one "Automatic Login" user.
I also don't understand your header and the text. Header says multiple accounts without passwords, but text says passwords are required for both users.

You can go to Settings>General>Resetrictions and set restrictions that prevent app purchases, prevent in-app purchases, and require a password for in-app purchases.

No easy way. Unless you use the same username and the same password on both system then you have to enable Windows File Sharing (SMB) in Sharing, add your Mac username and type in your password in the options of Sharing and then set a NetBIOS name and a workgroup name that is the same on both Windows and Mac. That is in the Network section under advanced WINS tab.
