Logon to SLD

Hello people,
The developer reported to me the next error:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDTypeNotFoundException: type com.sap.demo.flight.types.Bapimaxrow could not be loaded: com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: TypeBroker failed to access SLD: Error while obtaining JCO connection: com.sap.sldserv.exception.SldServiceRuntimeException:
Failed to create CIM client.
We have read the guide "Handling Transactions with BAPIs in Web Dynpro" and we are configuring the SLD then.
I have the guide about SLD configuration but I have some
problems with part 3.2 COnfiguring users.
When I call http://server:50000/sld, I don´t know the user and pwd. I tried with J2EE-ADMIN but it reported me
No Authorization. I don´t hace any user like Administrator or Admin.
When I installed WAS JAVA add-in, I select No SLD available during the installation. But I could see the service and it is active.
The guide talks about users and groups (roles on R/3) but I don´t have anything.
I would like to logon to the SLD.
Could you assist ??

Hi Andrea,
Glad you could finally get your problem resolved. Now as to next problem regarding login to Content Administrator.
You have said that you cannot logon to the http://<host>:<port>/useradmin because you do not have the login. As for the register functionality as far as i know the register link will only create a new user for you and assign it default roles which will not be sufficient to logon to Content Administrator.
After the user regsiters the administrator has to go and assign some roles to that user using the useradmin. Hence Register will not help in this case.
What you can do in log in to the Visual Administrator as before and under Server -> Services -> Security provider from here you can create a new user by clicking on the user management tab. This user also gets created in the UME.
Once the user is created in the same tab User management serach for the just created user. Select it and click the Group button. Then assign the group Administrators to that user and try logging in to the Content Administrator.
It worked in my case. Hope it works in your case too.

Configuration of SLD

Hi All,
We are installaing XI system for that we had installed WAS 6.4 and is running sucessfully, but we are not able to confgure SLD.
When we try to logon to SLD using http://<Hostname>:<PORT>/Sld
then it asks for the username and password and if we enter J2EE_ADMIN username and its password then it displays "You are not authorized "
We tried to Assign user J2EE_ADMIN to group SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR using Visual administrator but it is also giving error.
So please help us out in this.

I am newbie (no only for mobile, them for SAP) i can't run any example! and i really need for your help:
I have a Pentium IV +2GB RAM + Windows server 2003 + Oracle ( I them try to install the system in a Xeon but i have problems with the SDM password so i can't update the Java Components to SP 10).
The Enviroment:
Sever called erick:
1) First i install NW2004s ABAP + JAVA + MI 7.0, SP 6 over Oracle 10.2
2) After that i Update:
Kernel to version 83
SAINT, ABA, Basis to SP 10
JSPM, NWCLIENT, NWLAP, NWADMIN, NWDRIVERS to SP 10 for MI 7.0
3) After that, i used the MI template going to my server: http://erick:50100/nwa, login as J2EE_ADMIN, deploy & changes.... it appears to work... but when a login into the web system it says:
 System Landscape Directory is not accessible.
 Local System Only can be administrate. (maybe here is the key)
On the Client side:
Windows XP + NW developer Studio Version: 7.0.10 + MI Client (I extract this from the NWCLIENTNT10_0-20000910.SCA, SAP Mobile Infrastructure, Version MI 70 SP10 Pacht 0 )
NW developer Studio is Configured in this form (Using Windows -> Preferences -> MI Development)
MI Folder: C:\Archivos de programa\SAP Mobile Infrastructure (Archivos de Programas (Spanish) = Program Files)
Java SDK tools.jar file: C:/j2sdk1.4.2_08/lib/tools.jar, I can't change it.
MI server name: localhost (I think this is Wrong, this have to be erick?, i will try with this)
MI weapp TCP port: 4444

When a push the Test Setting button, it works!

Connection to server failled
Problems in the Syncrhonization Not Found 404; The server has not found anything matching the URI given.
Basically i can't Syncrhonaze the MI Client with the Server. I search in the Forum, Documentation, Google, Blogs, etc etc, Surely is a configuration problem, please i need some tips.

After the 3 Steps, the services (that were down) now are UP but when a try to test the service he ask me for:

The J2EE_ADMIN? or the one that i create with SAP* to update the system to SP10 (It has SAP_ALL, SAP_NEW permissions, in my case is called eilarraza) Maybe the problem is that i a not using the correct user in the MI Client configuration neither in the test of the service.

Error in connection SAP_ECC_HumanResources

Hello All,
I logged in to our portal using the test user for ESS which I defined from the installation.
From the home page, I noticed that there is a warning message posted.
The log details are as follows:
SAP_ECC_HumanResources WebFlowConnector Nov 28, 2008 4:14:01 PM Exception occured Exception type:com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl.connect.ConnectorException Message:Fri Nov 28 16:14:01 GMT08:00 2008 (Connector) :com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception:Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)+
I checked Content Admintration -> Web Dynpro and clicked Maintain JCo Destinations. I tried to look for SAP_ECC_HumanResources but it was not there. I tried to recreate it but once I click the finish, it say's that is has been saved to SLD. I logon from SLD and I was able to see it from there, but not from the Web Dynpro screen.

Did you logon to client 000 ? To find whats your integration server client, logon to SLD and business systems and select your Web AS ABAP XI business system name, there you can find what the integration server client is.
Or you are creating the alert category through web UI ?

B1i-Connection with different SQL-Versions (2008/2012)

Hello,
I hope, you can help me. We want to make a Connection between two SAP-Systems with B1i.
System A, SQL-2008R2, B1i-Version 19
System B, SQL-2012, B1i-Version 20
We can connect From System B to A.
From A (2008) to B (2012) brings an Error: Failed to connect or logon to SLD (8037)
We tried some suggestions from the Sap-Content:
Changing IP-Adress to Servername and back from Name to IP
and
JDBC-Path without Port
No solution for the Problem.
Does anyone have an Idea, before we must upgrade our 2008R2-System to 2012 ??

Die Art und weise wie ein neues System im B1i über "Create" angelegt wird, ist halt nicht egal... mal will das System eine IP, dann mal den Namen des Servers.
Wir haben es mit einer Mischung von IP und Namen unter verwendung eines Eintrags in der HOST-Datei geschafft.
Daher schließe ich den Fred vorerst.

Where the credential is stored

Hi,
when i connect to sld to retrieve the development configuration, i saved my user name and password.
now my password changed, but nwds keeps using old password to login SLD, didn't give me the chance to input new password.
how to delete the local saved password?
i have deleted the secure storage of NWDS, but this didn't help.
i removed the development configuration, still not work.
at last i restart my pc, it works, it popup the UI for me to input new user name and password when I logon to sld.
is there any other solution which can save me?

have you tried restarting NWDS? I think it's stored in memory.

wir haben Probleme unsere B1i-Umgebung mit einem 2. Server zu verbinden.
System 1, SQL-Version = 2008R2, B1i = Version 19
System 2, SQL-Version = 2012, B1i = Version 20
Die Verbindung von 2 auf 1 funktioniert
von 1 auf 2 geht nicht (Fehler: Failed to connect or logon to SLD (8037)
kann es daran liegen, dass von 2012er SQL abwärts auf 2008 funktioniert, umgekehrt jedoch nicht ?
Wir haben auch den Wechsel IP/ServerName versucht, kein Erfolg.
Auch haben wir einen Lösungsansatz aus dem Forum versucht und beim Pfafd des JDBC den Port weggelassen...klappt auch nicht.
Natürlich können wir unser System 1 upgraden auf SQL 2012, aber vielleicht hat ja jemand noch eine andere Idee.

Hi Sandeep,
I think your sld is stopped, go to the visual administrator and start the sld from there first.
After that in order to deploy and run Web Dynpro application with Adaptive RFC, your SLD must be configured first, please follow the following tutorial for that,

Which Sneak Preview are you trying to install. If it is Slim Edition then i feel SLD is not a part of that installation. You may refer to SDN Downloads forum for some guidance.

SLD User gets locked; four unsuccessful logons every 15 minutes

I have a landscape with a PI with the SLD on it. I defined a user with the name SLDUSER and the appropriate authorizations. The PI is a Unicode system, like all systems in the landscape.
There were already some application servers (CRM, Banking Services, Composition Environment) connecting to this SLD and everything went fine.
Now I added another application server, an ERP, for FI-CAx (NW 7.02). As the business partners are distributed via XI through the PI system, the ERP needs to connect to the SLD, too.
I set it up as usual:
- sldapicust: host, port, SLDUSER, password. (What is weird is that there is no test button as in all the other systems ... maybe that depends on the installed EhPs.)
- This generated the destinations (type T = TCP/IP) SLD_UC and SLD_NUC automatically.
- I created destinations SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC manually in sm59, type T = TCP/IP, set them to Unicode, entered the same (two different) Registered Server Programs that are used in these destinations on all the other servers (CRM, PI, BaS).
- I ran rz70, entered the host and gateway, activated, executed the data collection.
SLDCHECK runs successfully on the ERP system!
The technical system for the BS1 showed up in the SLD as expected.
- I configured the clients / business systems on the SLD.
Now begins the problem. The SLDUSER is now getting locked all the time! It's definitely the ERP system causing it - when I prevent it from accessing the PI (by changing the hosts file on the operating system), the problem stops.
I activated everything critical related to logons and RFCs in sm19 and looked at the logs in sm20. This is what it looks like:

And it goes on like this. So what happens is this: Every 15 minutes, at :10, :25, :40, :55, there are four unsuccessful logons with SLDUSER. With the fifth logon it gets locked.
Again:
- This stops when I make the PI inaccessible to the ERP.
- SLDCHECK still works completely fine in ERP - until the SLDUSER is locked, of course; then it stops working in all connected systems. It does not result in unsuccessful logons on the PI.
- When I run rz70 on the ERP and run the data collection this also reports success and does not create unsuccessful logons on the PI.
- I have not used the SLDUSER in any other locations besides sldapicust.
So what the hell is wrong with this system?!

I have created a separate user SLDUSER_ER1 just for use in the sldapicust in the new ERP system that causes the problem. Still SLDUSER is getting locked (not SLDUSER_ER1)!
I powered down this ERP system ER1, just to make absolutely sure it is causing the problem - indeed the unsuccessful logon attempts every 15 minutes stopped right away.
As a workaround and for narrowing down the problem I have created separate users SLDUSER_CR1 etc. for each of the other systems in the landscape (CRM and so on) - indeed those do not get any unsuccessful logon attempts.
I have deleted all four SLD-related destinations in ER1 and recreated them from scratch (SLD_NUC and SLD_UC being generated when running rz70). I also used the "delete all batch jobs" button in rz70.
Still, SLDUSER is getting locked.
I checked on the PI system in C:\usr\sap\PI1\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system\httpaccess\responses_00.0.trc and see it is indeed the IP of the ERP system that gets the error 401 exactly at the times when the unsuccessful logon attempts occur:

As the ERP has no Java instance and the sldapicust does not contain the SLDUSER (but the new SLDUSER_ER1) it is a mystery to me what it is that is still running every 15 minutes in the ERP and tries to use SLDUSER.
I went through the entries in SECSTORE and could not find any use of SLDUSER (only of SLDUSER_ER1, as it should be).

J2EE Logon Servlet Prompting For Username Email

I have a situation in my landscape that recently, after patching the system to NW700 SPS23, some users would enter their logon and password correctly and then get confronted with an additional security screen requesting their firstname, lastname, email address and a message for the administrator (as if they were trying to perform self registration). They would kindly enter the requested information and it would pop up again and again, preventing use of the system. This doesn't happen to everyone though and appears to be in some way related to the URL the user was using.
I set logging to debug and could not find any trace of an error in the java logs when this occured. Ultimately, I provded a cleaner URL string (http://<server>:<port>/useradmin for example), had the user clear their browser cache, restart IE, and then it went away for them, even when using the old dirty URL. I am 100% positive it was not password related as I could log in fine on my machine, but not on another with my own and other admin accounts.
My question is: is anyone aware of any new security features implemented in NW700 SPS22 or 23 that could be causing this problem on some front-ends? Our users use Windows 7 and IE 8. It also occured on a calling java application server running IBM Websphere and an older OS and browser. This is what has me so suspicious about the patches themeselves.
The SAP app that is running on the NW700 machine is XMII 12.0.21. Though the symptom also occurs with calls to NWA, UME, SLD, etc. I also run a 701 webdispatcher on the machine which does some url translations, but again, it works fine on most front-ends.

Web dynpro sld / jco setup

i have an erp system installed. on my local computer i installed the netweaver developer studio. i build the flights example from sap. after building and running the application an error occures:

Hi Marcus,
If you are using UID/PWD mapping for JCO destination please check wether you have provided correct uname and password.
If you are using SSO instead of UID/PWD mapping then check wether SSO is working properly between portal and ECC.
Mostly this problem is due to authorization failures during the logon phase.
Please check if the SAP user-id & password you are using to connect to the SAP system are correct.
Get the logon data from the JAVA application or JCo trace

Problem in SLD configuration

While configuring SLD, when we tried to trigger in Visual Administrator we got following error.
SLD Data trigger error
Operation failed! Failed to collect SLD data. Failed to send HTTP data:500:Internal Server error. Please check if the target SLD system is available and SLD bridge is started there.
Data bridge is working.
Can any body help in this case?
