Logon via pop up needs to be disabled

Hi,
We are using SRM 5.0 and EP 7.0 sp10, and we currently have the logon via pop pop up enabled on SRM, but we dont want it and want to turn it to the normal logon, so we can enable single sign on it, so please advice.
All help is appreciated and rewarded.
Thanks,
Swetha

Hi,
If your requirement is to pop-up only once then you need to do mod. in FV45KFKD_VBKD_PRICING which is a standard program.
Thanks,
Krish.

  • Email via POP on iPhone 4S?

I am trying to set my iPhone 4S to download my email (from gmail) via POP rather than IMAP, but can't seem to do it. Google's instructions say there should be a tab to tap to switch from IMAP to POP, but I can't find it. Has the POP option been disabled in IOS5 or IPhone 4S, please?

Just for the record everyone. After the update to 5.0.1 If you have enabled iCloud on setup after you did a restore and erase-- if you had update problems as I did with my wife's iPhone-- the setup for mail is different. When you try to resetup your old email account in the mail app under the "other" tab it defaults to IMAP only --you do NOT get a choice to choose IMAP or POP (as above with Rick) after the first setup screen. Why? Lord only knows. Well, I called apple tech support and they were of no help at all and essentially shrugged their collective shoulders.
You will all be happy to know that I have solved this problem on my own and I think it bears repeating to all of you, as I am sure others have come upon this problem as well. The solution appears to be to turn off iCloud and delete the iCloud account (keep the data on your phone of course) in settings and then turn off push notifications. Then restart your phone. You may have to restart twice. Then try setting up your mail account under "other". Then when you have filled out the first setup acct screen and go to the next screen. Volia!  You should then see the option on the next setup screen to choose IMAP or POP. You can then input the settings as per your POP account as specified by your carrier. One note however, the verify process may take up to a minute or more--very slow for some reason when setting up as a POP acct. Anyway, I thought this was weird because under 5.0-- I would get the option after first email setup screen to choose HTTP, IMAP or POP??
My theory is that somehow IMAP gets defaulted as the only choice because iCloud operates that way if enabled etc. You can then turn iCloud back on as well as resetup acct-- as well as push notifications and your POP email acct should still continue to work as configured. I think this is a definite glitch or bug with the update to 5.0.1? I knew that POP was still supported since my iPhone did not need to be reset or erased after the update to 5.0.1 and my POP acct was still there working as configured but if I tried to add another POP acct under "Other" it would also only default straight to IMAP after setup screen. Very weird Bug to say the least.
I hope that helps some of you out there. I have reported this bug to Apple officially.  My setup is an iPhone 4S as is my wife's with ios 5.0.1

  • Supress default logon box after invalid logon via SSO

    Hi,
We are using SSO to authenticate to the database. If the SSO authenication fails, Oracle Forms automatically brings up the default logon box. For example -
A user registers and their userid and password are stored in the OID. The user's password is then reset by a DBA. The next time the user tries to access the application, the credentials stored in the OID are incorrect. The on-error trigger in the form fires and brings up an error message. Then the default logon box pops up. I would like to just display a message and then exit the form. I do not want the user to have the option to enter a userid and password. I have tried putting an exit_form in the on-error trigger, but it says that exit_form is a restricted procedure. No other triggers fire before the default logon box pops up.
Does anyone know how I can supress the default logon box?
    Thanks,
    Kim

  • Jabber SSO for PKI / Kerberos LogOn via Card&fingerPrint

Is there any solution (existing or planned) for Jabber SSO when users are not using UserName/Password identification when they are logging in to their PC ?
Instead they are using a PKI / Kerberos LogOn via Card&fingerPrint ? and for this LogOn method once opening Jabber Client how can they be LoggedOn without any need for further identification?

    Hi Andrzej Kazmierczak,
Thanks a lot for the reply,
If we configure certificate based authentication in IIS (certificate mapping) it doesn't use kerberos provider (at least that's what I have seen through network monitor captures).
guess probably the presentation of intent in my question was wrong.. my bad..sorry
My requirement is to configured the SSO environment based on "kerberos Authentication" (where the pre-authentication happens not via user name and password but through USER IDENTITY certificates.)
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-in/library/cc238455.aspx
When smart cards are implemented with kerberos, pre-authentication (for kerberos) happens through KDC validating the smart card PKI certificate (x.509), I want to achieve the same thing in my lab without smart card (i.e.. only with user identity certificate
    installed over a device).
There are few related information  available over the web but for Linux based (MIT kerberos) environment. However according the document available in the link(http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-in/library/cc238455.aspx), it should be possible even in Microsoft
    environment.That's exactly is my requirement.
I am very new to  kerberos topic, please correct me if my implementation understanding is wrong somewhere.
    Thanks,
    GK

  • Hit with Virus that executed via PowerShell Scripting. Can I disable Powershell on my network via Group Policy and what implications does that have for me.

Our network was hit recently with virus previously unknown, O97M.Crigent.  It is a nasty Macro virus that targets Microsoft Office Documents & Spreadsheets and uses a combination of Macros and Scripts via Powershell.
How do I disable PowerShell scripting via Group Policy?
Will this raise any issues such as random application or network failures or other issues?
Can I apply it to the entire domain or should I be selective and only apply it to the workstations?
Network Summary: Windows 2008 Active Directoy Server, 75% Windows 7, 25% Windows XP workstations.
    DouglasOfSanMarcos

Disabling Windows PowerShell can be done with GPO:
Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Windows Components | Windows PowerShell
From GPO Description: "This setting exists under both "Computer Configuration" and "User Configuration" in the group policy editor. The "Computer Configuration" has precedence over "User Configuration."
By default this option is restricted any way on computers.
I would be very selective when apply it at all:
Workstations - I would apply to test group of workstations first, just to see that there are no side effects before applying to all computers.
Server - I wouldn't apply it at all. I have seen too many issues when setting this policy on Exchange and other systems.
If you are using a Group Policy to define a PowerShell logon, logoff or computer script, that script will disregard any execution policy set locally or through a GPO.

  • Adobe Flash player (I ran scan & got "You have version 9,0,45,0 installed") works on internet explorer emails, BUT it does not work using firefox keeps giving me a pop up need Flash 9 or higher.

I have Adobe Flash player 9 or higher (I ran your scan-You have version 9,0,45,0 installed) and it always works with Internet Explorer emails BUT every time I click to open incoming email I get a pop up "need to install flash 9 or higher". What can I do? Can I get rid of it? It only happens in internet mail.

Visit [http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ this Adobe page] with both browsers to update your Flash version; Firefox uses a different install than IE, so having one doesn't mean you have the other.

  • My Itunes logon keeps popping up and won't respond to my password

My Itunes logon keeps popping up and won't respond to my password, everytime I try and log in or cancel

So you already wiped the old backup and started again??
If that is the case it did a fresh full backup ok?
How much free space is on the TC now?
Do you happen to have multiple network links? Meaning do you have TC bridged to the U-verse router.. with both ethernet and wireless working at the same time. I discovered this one all by my loansome.. having multiple paths does not seem to worry most things on the computer.. but it totally kills TM.
I had the same sort of thing happening in testing a TC I am fixing. So I have multiple ethernet and wireless. The incremental backups became extremely slow.. by turning off wireless and one ethernet so there is only one route to the TC.. it flys again.

  • Tough Decision: Gmail Web Interface or Gmail Via Pop Using Mac Mail

Thought I would open a discussion about this since I have been having a tough time making a decision. I love using Gmail's web interface but hate losing the integration with Mac OS. I forward all my email from different providers to my Gmail so I can access all my email from any computer. This is very handy for me.
I have tried using the mail app to access gmail via pop, but one thing I hate is when I reply to an email from a different provider than gmail it will use the gmail reply address. Gmail's web interface will use the account that the email was sent to as the reply address automatically.
I am almost certain that others are in the same quandry as I am. If so, what is your solution?
    20" iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.7)

You can enter the email addresses for your other providers in Mail and have them show up in a pop-up menu when you compose new mail; then you can select which address to use as the outgoing mail address.
Go to Mail->Preferences->Accounts, and undeer the Account Information, look for the Email Address field (below the Description filed). Enter your other email addresses in there, separated by commas, then close the Preferences and Save the changes.
Now create a new email and the pop-up menu should let you choose which email address will show up on the email.

  • How do I access GMail via POP?

Before upgrading to Mountain Lion I had Mail configured to access my GMail account via POP rather then IMAP. I mistakely deleted the GMail POP account configuration. Now, Mail 6 won't allow me to chose how to access GMail - POP or IMAP. Apple removed the Account Type option that was present during account set-up. Is there any way I can create a mail account configuration that uses the POP protocol?
    Thanks,
    John

IMAP is inferior to POP for a lot of business applications. It's not really correct to say IMAP is better than POP, they are different methods with different feature sets. With IMAP there's no ability to store a message on the server if you download, then it is deleted on a client. This can be a disaster when you have multiple people monitoring the same email, or you are using multiple devices. Once accidental misclick archive filing for example while on your iPhone can cause your desktop not to receive the mail, or not be filtered properly. Many business depend on this for orders, customer service, and general communication. IMAP cannot be trusted, even with myself as a developer. Using IMAP is like relying on interns at Pixar to use Unix commands perfectly and not delete the feature film with a late night brainfart.
When you receive a lot of email, things get overlooked, and IMAP has been the root of more than one catastrophe in my life. The main upside to IMAP is that you can manage the space of email, but this is 2013, and my entire mail archive since 1994 is less than 50gb. I think space doesn't matter much anymore, better to be safe with pop, than sorry. I might get my email 1-5 minutes later having to fetch it instead of being pushed, but that's ok considering the consequences of the alternative. Email is not designed to be an instant thing anyway.
It's annoying gmail defaults to IMAP in Apple mail now, but not in IOS. Makes no sense.

  • SL/Mail 4.1: Cannot Fetch Gmail via POP

Since upgrading to SL/Mail 4.1, mail.app will no longer fetch gmail via POP access (this worked fine before the upgrade). However, sending mail from mail.app works fine. I get an error dialog, "Mail cannot verify the identity of pop.gmail.com." Clicking the Details button, reveals that the certificate is "imap.gmail.com," even though the account has been set-up as a POP account from within mail.app and in my Gmail account settings. Anyone else notice this? Ideas? Many thanks.

Having the same problem on my wife's Macbook Pro. I set the account up as a POP account a few days ago and now when I looked at it today, it was both an IMAP AND a POP account. I deleted the account and tried adding it again, but was NOT given the option for custom account setup (that little check box at the first screen for new accounts). The server will not authenticate under POP because it is imap.gmail.com.

  • Do In need to manually disable JAVA in LION to protect from FlashBack?

Do I need to manually disable JAVA in a new installation of LION to protect from FLASHBACK or does it install with JAVA disabled by default?

It's disabled by default.  But that's assuming a new installation or on a new Mac.
It's easy enoug to double check in Safari>Preferences>Securtity.
Also, double check Java prefernces systme wide by launching the Java Preferences from the Utilities folder inside the Applications.
If it asks you to first install Java then click Not Now.  If it does open prefernes, make sure they are unchecked in the General tab.

  • SNMP need ot be disable so the printers can show online

    I have an old question:
I had to disable SNMP in printer port configurations so the printers can be not offline.
Why and what caused these issues? We have tons of printer devices , only few are shown offline and need to manually disable SNMP in the tcp port settings to make them online.

    Hi,
Please make sure that you have the same SNMP configuration on the printer device with what you have on the port used on the print server.
Also, make sure that the SNMP community name is "public".

  • Mozilla Crash Reporter keeps popping up forever even after disabling "BreakPad" via application.ini

I've edited the registry using regedit, changed the DWORD entries of CrashReporter/SubmitCrashReport to 0. Edited application.ini file "enable=0" etc, etc. Reinstalled numerous times. Ran CCleaner numerous times. Tried a system restore. Nothing seems to kill off this highly frustrating Crash Reporter pop-up window. All I get is occasionally it gives me an option to use safe mode. Generally I get no-where. Turns what was once my favourite and best browser into the absolute worst. Hope there's a Mozilla tech out there who knows the software in and out who can advise on programming out this terribly broken feature.

We're sorry to hear that your Firefox seems to be crashing when you open it. Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
#Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
#In that text field, enter %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
#From that explorer window, double-click on the ''Mozilla'' folder, then double-click on ''Firefox'' and then on ''Crash reports''. Double-click on ''submitted''.
#Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to ''View'' > ''Arrange Icons by'' > ''Modified'' to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
#Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
#Paste each ID with '''bp-''' into the reply window on the forums.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Slow RD connection to server via RD Gatway if NLA is disabled on the server

If I disable NLA on a server (tried on 2 different servers), the rd connection (via gateway only) is much slower (over 1 min to get to the logon screen).
RD Gateways are 2012R2, hosts are 2012 and 2012 R2.
Re-enabling NLA fixes the issue. Any ideas?
    Dario Palermo

    Hi Dario,
Putting the gatewayusagemethod:i:1 in the .rdp file will force the RD Client to use the gateway always and thus speed up the connection time. When connecting from the Internet, as a test, please uncheck Bypass RD Gateway server for local addresses in the RD
    Client options--Advanced tab--RD Gateway settings.
Please try “Require user authentication for remote connections by using Network Level Authentication” policy setting under below path.
    Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Security
Configure Network Level Authentication for Remote Desktop Services Connections
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc732713.aspx
Addition you can check for “Network security: LAN Manager authentication level”
