Logout and quit all App by itself

After 30 minutes of inactivity my iMac just close all open applications and shows the login screen. This has been going on for months and I have not found any way to prevent it.
Energy Saver has no schedule, the Computer Sleep option is set to "Never"; "Put the hard disk to sleep" option is not checked.
The annoying part is that in my home/office, I listen music from iTunes the whole day while I'm doing packaging, and every 30 minutes, or so, I have to go to the computer to login back and star iTunes and all my applications AGAIN and AGAIN, and AGAIN. Please help.

Open the Security pane of System Preferences and set the computer to log out after a period of inactivity.

Reset your iPad by holding the home and on/off buttons together for 6 or 7 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Then update your apps one at a time. Do not start the next app until the current one downloads and finishes installing.

To resolve this issue, I would suggest updating your iOS to the latest version, which is 7.0.3.

Iphone froze and deleted all apps!!

My iphone was in the process of upgrading 4 apps. It froze while I was playing a game and after 10 mins, finally got it to turn off and on. When it came back on, all apps were gone except for the few that were upgrading. I tried turning it back off and on and still all apps are gone. My email and pics are still there but everything else is gone. Help!!!

Same here and it is ******* me off. I was in the middle of playing we farm and then it crashed and when it showed me my home screen I noticed all my apps were gone. Here I am trying to figure out what the **** happened so I rebooted and turned the phone off but nothing.
I then synced it iTunes and only one app was reinstalled but the rest remained "hidden."
As you mentioned, I also see that I have 4.1GB of other data on my phone and know that it is the missing apps. Problem is how do I get it all back?
Using phoneDisk, I went into the iphone's root folders and tried to locate these apps. I found them and notice that all but one was marked with a censored image or an error image. Tried to open them but my mac could not, it opened the native and one app just fine (using xcode and iPhone dev kit) but rest were treated as foreign extensions.
I have many backups since I like to have at least monthly backups but I am still concerned with the "other space." If I were to use an old back up to restore my phone would the space taken by other still remain?
This is a first in my 2 iphones I ever owned, lost lots of data and I don't know what directly caused it.

i updated my ipod touch 32gigs (4G) and now all apps exept the defult apps wont work
is there a way i can fix it without restoring because i have 6.5gb of apps and 1.37gb of music

You downloaded one new app and that fixed all the rest of your apps?
Resetting your iPod Touch will not lose any data.
Only restoring may cause you to loose data.

Recently while browsing with TenFourFox 31.6.0 or reading an email in Thunderbird 3.1.20 with my PPC MacG4 with OSX 10.4.11,the above message pops in " ... a problem has been detected with the font -, in the font file $C quit all applications and remove this font file or replace it with a new version". I don't know where to start, not ever having seen this message. :-)) Any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Raymon, it sounds like file corruption, I doubt there is a real font file called that.
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)
If still no change after a regular boot, then open Font Book in Applications & see if you can find it there, or have Font Book Validate all fonts.

If you also backed up to your computer - you can restore from that backup - to retrieve the files. As far as I know- that should have no bearing on deleting them from iCloud - they should still be in that backup.
If you used iOS file sharing with your computer - and saved the files to your computer - you can retrieve them from there.
if the only place that the files were saved to was iCloud, I know of no way to get them back.

My phone is freezing, restarting too much, and erased all apps!?

I have a serious problem i believe. For about 10 days i can hardly using my phone. Phone has started too freeze and restart itself too much. And 3 days ago it has erased all the apps for home screen but i can see apps are still covers same amout of memory. My apps store is not showing anything also. For the question what caused this; only thing comes to my mind is the last app i installed. (wikiplaces app) What should I do? what is this? Does not see like ram overuse causşng this. It might work, it might not. Many users get only the latest backup to choose from when performing a restore. If your backup was made after the delete, then it won't work. If you do try a restore, I would strongly advise that you sync your photos from your device to a compter using USB (that's safer than relying on photo stream). There are countless posts by users who restored and lost all their photos.

Upgraded from ios4 to ios 6 and lost all apps i had downloaded and some photos?

I upgraded an ipad2 from ios4 to ios 6 and once all was done, all my apps, purchased and free ones were gone - and some of my pictures. Any idea? I do not dare doing another "resore backup" ... Any help?

A few comments:
You will eventually be able to retrieve all your apps. You will be able to go to the App Store on your iPad, click "Updates" in the lower right, click "Purchased" and re-download them from there (but be careful - download them one at a time).
It sounds like the reason the photos and apps did not appear is you may have run out of memory on the iPad. The new iOS offers more features, and is somewhat bigger than the old. Check Settings > General > Usage and see how much space you have left and what the big space consumers are. You should do housekeeping to get an absolute minimum of 10% of the space on your iPad free. For example, if you have a 16GB iPad, you would need absolutely no less than 1.6GB free.
You said "I do not dare doing another restore ...". On the contrary, you should update your iOS at every opportunity to avoid these giant updates such as you just did. You went from iOS 4 to 6, which means it's been over a year and a half since your last update. If you did them more frequently, they would be less dramatic.

After taking 5 pictures with the 4S, the phone shuts down and restarts - all apps have been closed and software updated

We use the iPhone's at my job and they all have the 4S - one of the guys is having a problem when taking pictures. After taking 5 pictures the phone completely shuts down and re-starts. He has made sure that all apps are closed out, updated the software to the current one and that the battery is fully charged. Can't seem to figure out what the problem is. Anyone???

Updated BB App world.... and lost all apps?

I had to do a swap of phones last week. Did this, and reinstalled several apps on the new phone. Finally was told had to do a BB App world update... Did this, and they are all gone now. They are not under the Uninstalled, or Other devices tab. HELP!?!?!?!

I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:
KB24714 How to clear the BlackBerry App World cache
4. AppWorld should close.
5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
6. Return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes).
If step (4) does not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.

Quad G5 vs. Dual Intel Speed and Transfering all apps to disk

Hi,
I have a G5 Quad and I am very happy with it. However, I need to load the new FCP Studio and CS4 Pro Apps and they need an Intel processor. I can get a Dual Intel G5 for cheap. Does anyone know if the processing speeds are close or what?
Also, how can I transfer all my programs to the new computer's main hard drive?

Intel Mac Pro dropped "G5" G-anything equates to PowerPC.
You are slim on the specs of what you were looking at, but the lowest end was the dual 2.0GHz which came out 3 yrs ago and sells for around $1,000 and is equal to Quad G5.

Canceled Backup, and now all Apps are reinstalling?

NOTE: I have all my apps installed on the phone. In fact i was just playing Critter Crunch.
Anyways...
I dl'd an app in itunes and wanted to add it to my phone. I docked the iphone and it began to backup. I canceled the back up and now its syncing and installing all of my apps all over again.
Why would it do that?

For some reason, if you cancel the iPhone during a Backup, all **** breaks loose!!!
Try not to cancel if you can. I know it's an awful response, but hopefully Apple will fix this in the next update.
