Logs of deleted Service transactions

Hi to All,
Good Day!
I just want to ask if there's a log where I can view the details of deleted service transactions? Hoping for you kind response. =)
Thanks!
Lynne

Hi,
In SAP CRM Business Process, Service Transactions are not deleted directly. As they are important transactional data and which might be needed for future reference you can keep it somewhere from where you can refer. In some countries, it is mandatory to keep the documents before removing them from the system.
So, all the Service Transaction ( Service Orders, Service Confirmations, etc.) are first archived in the system using SAP Archiving (http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/BCSRVARL/BCSRVARL.pdf). Then based on the future business they will be backed up and later deleted from the CRM Online or Offline Reference System.
Have a look at this link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/4e/309e3a462f8a09e10000000a114084/content.htm
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

    1. Enter the transaction: CRMV_SSC
    2. Fill the field "Screen Profile Type" :
    -SRVO for Srv. Order
    Or
    -SRVC for Srv. Conf.
    Or

    3. Select "Complete Tabstrip Assigntment of Panel" and push the button EDIT

4.For the tab you want to remove, remove the line which has :
    "Screen Profile "<*>"
    AND

    or,
    "Tabstrip Panel" : SRVO_IT01 (If it's in a service item )
    or,
    "Tabstrip Panel" : SRVO_IT02 (If it's in a service material item )
    or,
    "Tabstrip Panel" : SRVO_IT03 (If it's in a sales item )
    or,
"Tabstrip Panel" : SRVO_IT04 (If it's in an service expense item )
    AND
"Funct. Code" : find the relevant Function Code with F4 Help.
Finally you will remove the relevant line from this table. As a result your tab will be hided.

    Dear all,
How to log in to Service Desk under my Solution Manager server to create sample message to SAP under Component: SV-SMG-SUP?
    Regards

    Hi GN,
You have different options to create messages in test component SV-SMG-SUP-TST:
    1. if you are on 7.1 you can create message using CRM_UI
    2. If you are using lower vrsion then either you can create message using Workcenter or using transaction NOTIF_CREATE or using menu --> Help --> Create support message.

    Hello Everybody,
We are having a logical standby database which is working fine.. But the only concern is with deletion of archive logs that are applied..
I wanted to auto delete the archives that are applied.. Till yesterday all the archives that had applied was getting deleted automatically.. But now some how its not getting deleted..
Nothing has been changed since yesterday and i even checked alert log no error has been recorded but it just simply doesn't delete the archives..
For a try i restarted SQL apply, its applying the archive logs but it doesn't delete the archives that are applied..
Please any help or suggestions would be great.
    Thanks

    Thanks for your response..
As per the links you provided, these links are for archive deletion policy for primary and physical standby which we configure using RMAN..
But in Logical Standby case archive logs are automatically deleted after its applied...

  • Data Manager log file deletion

I belive this program (UJF_FILE_SERVICE_DLT_DM_FILES ) can be used to remove log files.  Couple of questions on this process
    1) Can the DM log be deleted from the front end rather than running the program?  Any issues with deleting the log file from the BPC front end?
    2) Is there a transaction code associated with this program?  If yes, do you know what is the transaction code?
    3) Can this be scheduled so that it deletes everyting except the logs that are created in the last 2 or 4 months?

First the program you mentioned does not delete DM log files, it deletes only the DM data files.  There is no transaction code for that program and you can delete these files from the frontend with no problem.
If you want to delete DM log files, you can use this program delivered with this how-to guide.
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/a0e72699-6c32-2d10-5d97-a4db8321ef67
THe only problem is that this program does not handle deleting the generated folders associated with log files.

  • Deleting Failed Transactions in SAP B1if

How can I delete transactions which have "failed" in processing through B1if?
I attempted to delete one of the groups in the Unit of Measurement Groups which was already assigned to items in the B1 application.  This "error" then attempts to replicate to the other databases participating in the Intercompany Integration Solution (IIS).  Every time a new attempt is made ("error retry"), the transaction fails and generates a failure alert message.
I know that I can set the B1if to "never attempt to retry errors", but I would like to delete the message from the queue so that I can leave the retry setting at "retry errors every two hours".
I have tried to delete this failed transaction from the B1if queue without any luck thus far.  Does anybody know how to delete failed messages from the queue so that they will not attempt a "retry" and thus generate new failed alert message?

    Hi Jerry,
You may delete transactions using Intercompany Integration Solution Message Log. The Message Log is a Web application that enables you to view log of Interbranch transactions. You can filter transaction logs by date and time ranges, sender system, or receiver system.
You can access the message log Web application from the machine on which the Intercompany solution is installed, and by using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
To delete the transaction from message queue you may follow the steps below on machine on which the Intercompany solution is installed:
    1. Open Start menu and choose Intercompany Administration Console icon.
        Logon Window appears.
    2. Enter your login credentials and Logon.
        Intercompany Administration Console appears.
    3. Navigate to Monitoring → Message Log, open the Message Log web application.
On Message page, the upper frame of the window allows you to define a filter for the messages.
    4. Enter From date and To date in the respective filters, in Status dropdown menu select Failure and choose Display log.
In Failure matrix, failed message that confine within above defined filters appears.
    5. Choose Delete Log.
        This deletes the log entries.
For further details, you may also refer to Message Log section in Intercompany Solution User Guide.

  • WFM: Demands still available after completing (status) the service transaction in the resource planning

    Hi,
if I close my service transaction (set status in header and item to 'completed') the assignment in the resource planning is deleted but the demand is still shown in the demand list.
    Can anybody help me?
    Best regards,
    Ferdi

    Hi,
if you need an item to be relevant for resource planning you need to flag the item category as "relevant for resource planning", this needs to be a BUS2000140 item, so is to be entered in Services tab. This will then be transfered to WFM.
Materials used need to be entered in Spare Part tab.
    best regards,

I have noticed that some of the entries from the SM21 logs get deleted in few hours.
For example our team report the error "Transaction Canceled  DB 645" in sm21 log at 26.05.2011 at 4:00 AM.
When we checked the SM21 logs at 10:00 AM on the same day, the entry was no longer present.
Request you to kindly help me in this.

  • Can't log into Data Services

    Hello Gurus,
I get this error message "Cannot initialize application. (BODI-1270039)" when I try to log into Data Services.
I've tried reinstalling the Data Services (Client) but still the same problem.
    What's causing this issue?

    Hi l.v,
In Windows, in the run option and put in the 'regredit' command and look under Hkey local and Hkey current user and make sure that you do not have BusinessObjects entry if you do then please delete them.
It is assumed that you are only installing DS on this PC if this is not the case then you need to be extra careful and only remove the entries that belong to DS.
    Cheers

    Try with the below tables:
There are 3 temporary tables that hold data for entries made in SSHR until the approval cycle is complete
    1) HR_API_TRANSACTIONS
    2) HR_API_TRANSACTIONS_STEPS
    3) HR_API_TRANSACTIONS_VALUES

Do you mean refresh the client ? if that is the case, i think you are posting in wrong forum since this one is for People Centric User Interface. Try in   Customer "Relationship Management (CRM) - General & Framework".
