Logs out of SAP while pressing function key

Hi Experts,
I'am facing a very peculier type of problem from SAP operation point of view. Whenever I am pressing F8 or clicking on <execute> button or click on Help Document related SAP Customisation, all the SAP open windows are closing automatically and I need to log into SAP again. I've reinstalled GUI, checked all the necessary settings of my Laptop, but no reasult. Does anyone got a solution for this?
Thanks in  advance/
Subhasis

Hi,
FM "MCV_STATISTICS_ORDER"  accepts and returns many table parameters. So I guess you are calling
the function and assigning these table values which FM returns to your internal table.
If possible show how you call the function and which internal table gets filled.

  • ENVY Quad Laptop, Windows 8, Can't Left Click While Pressing Another Key

    Hello Everyone-
I just received my new laptop last night (ENVY Quad, Windows 8 Pro, 16GB Memory, Intel 7 CPU) and I had similar issues as others while trying to play online games. I was able to go into the touchpad controls and remove the settings that stopped me from using the pad while while pressing another key.
The issue I now have is that while pressing another key to 'walk' in my online game; I cannot get a response from the pad to perform a 'left mouse click'. Essentially I can choose to use my keyboard OR click my mouse.
Also, it seems to take a moment or two to realise I stopped using my keyboard before allowing a mouse click.
Any ideas on a setting I can change to allow simultaneous Mouse-clicks and keyboard usage? or is this a defect in my system?
    Thanks!

I understand you are having issue with the mouse click. If you disable the pad it will stop the functions all together.

  • Using javascript to override  pressing function keys (f1,f3,f6,f7,....)

hi all i wonder if there is a way to to override pressing function keys(f1,f3,f6,f7,....) in adf page for all of the page not just for an input text .
in another way can i make a client listener for a <f:view> or <af:document> so the javascript function will be called when i preses any button in keyboard without focusing in inputtext or a command button
    Edited by: user554540 on 22/06/2010 03:03 ص

    Hi,
the problem is that keyboard events are only raised from input components. client listeners can only added to ADF Faces components and af:document does not accept keyboard entries. However, I tried
af:document > panelStrechtLayout (center facet) > panelGroupLayout (scroll) and assigned a clientListener. At runtime has the desired effect

when you start your runform via
    ifrun60.EXE myForm pa_username=myUser
you can use this parameter for your new Resource-File, which you have saved from within Oracle Terminal :
    ifrun60.EXE myForm pa_username=myUser term=myTermFile.res
    try it

  • Won't boot from DiskWarrior CD while starting while pressing "c" key

    Hello,
I am helping a friend maintain her 2008 MacBook Pro (10.5.8). Have safe-booted several times, and repaired permissions.
Since she is having minor issues, I brought over my Disk Warrior v. 4.1 (CD rev. 42) which has done wonders for other Leopard Macs.
Her MacBook Pro just refuses to boot from the Disk Warrior CD when I hold down the "c" key while re-starting. It starts as usual from its OS. This has never happened to me before. So I cannot use Disk Warrior on her comp, as far as I know.
Whenever I have used this Disk Warrior CD on mine and other 10.5.8 computers, and booted holding down "c" key, everything goes swimmingly.
Grateful if anyone can anyone offer a suggestion...
Could it be her drive, her logic board, my not re-setting PRAM on her computer? Or a total mystery?
    Many thanks,
    Neil

    When will this get fixed?

Excuse me instead of quote I should have said Paraphrase

First of all, until 10 minutes ago you didn't quote anything. Quoting is to repeat verbatim what somebody else has said or written. I have no objection against being quoted (attribution appreciated), but just quote me and don't provide your interpretation as if they were my words.
Now, let's analyze in detail what was written. First what I wrote:
Jive is on a release train model where a back to back fix / enhancement takes 9 to 12 weeks and Adobe is currently on a twice a year update cycle. Even if everything is scheduled immediately it may take 9 months for fixes to become visible.
    Then what you wrote:
that the combination Adobe's upgrade cycle, and Jive's it will be about 9 months before the next upgrade.
So I am providing three timelines:
    1. Jive takes 9 to 12 weeks for individual fixes.
    2.  Adobe currently updates twice a year.
    3. Fixes may take 9 months if we add up the time for Jive and Adobe.
"So at no point did I write that the time until the next upgrade was to be about 9 months. Individual fixes may take that long, but all I said about updates is that Adobe currently updates twice a year. The extrapolation from 9 months for individual fixes to an update in 9 months is yours. And if you wish to ignoring that we are well into an update cycle already that is fine, but don't claim that that information comes from me."
"If you can't paraphrase me correctly, quote me."
still you did say it may take 9 months for fixes become visible.  which does appear from your calulations 12 weeks = 3 months, and twice yearly (for adobe) = 6 months
My appologies for my slight misquote/paraphrase.

  • Function Key Delay

After much searching, it seems that I've run into a unique problem (this seems to happen to me a lot).
Every once in a while, my function keys will stop working, or at least, will exhibit a long delay in response after I press on them. It only applies to screen brightness, keyboard illumination, iTunes controls, and the volume keys. Dashboard and Exposé work fine. After ignoring it for a while, 15-20 min or so, all the key events that were activated finally kick in at once. It looks as if it's a OS X issue because mouse buttons that are mapped to the same keys will also stop working. This first started as soon as I purchased my laptop which implies it's not a problem with a third party plugin.
Obviously, it's a minor nuisance more than anything else since restarting fixes it. It's annoying, nonetheless and it will be difficult to get something as rare and intermittent as this to be checked out by a genius. I was wondering if anyone has also encounter this bug.

Next, try a warm reset (soft reset + up on the 5-way nav) to see if any software you have is causing lag. Some things leech onto the keyboard and while they may do their job, they can create lag when another app conflicts with it.

    Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Just see this line from your message..
" Error Text WSAECONNRESET: Connection Reset by User "
This error message can be caused by two factors:
1.There is a crash in the dispatcher process of the instance to which the client was connected. This triggers a TCP package with an activated RST flag, which is sent to all connected communication partners and triggers the error message in the SAP GUI, among others. All connections are then automatically broken.
    2.Network problems
Firewall idle timeout : A firewall (or another active component) between client and server invalidates the affected connection if packages are not sent using this connection for a defined period.
Black Hole Router , See Note 155147.
    VPN, WAN problems
If the dispatcher crashes, it means that the entire instance terminates. In this case, put the message under the component BC-CST-DP for further analysis.
If Network Problem then you can use the SAP tool niping to examine general network problems.
Just look the notes : Note 500235, Test 3b (firewall idle timeout) , Note 155147, 3. (Black Hole Router)
The trace of the affected dispatcher (dev_disp) and the error trace of the SAP GUI (errorlog.gui) can be used as sources of information.

  • Ios8 apps logging out

Since I updated my iPhone5 to ios8, my apps log out completely when I press the home button.
For example, I have a store-card app on my phone. It used to stay logged in all the time. Now, every time I press the home button I am logged out of the app completely and have to re-enter my email address and password.
Also, with myfitnesspal, I used to be able to start inputting a recipe and toggle to Safari to get details then go back in and complete the data entry in MFP. Now, when I toggle out of MFP, I am logged out of the app and when I go back in I am taken to the home screen rather than the last screen I was working on.
I have noticed the same thing with a bunch of different apps. Is this just the individual apps that need to update to be compatible with ios8 or is my phone glitchy? (I just downloaded MFP's new ios8 update but the problem persisted).
    Anyone else encountering this?
    Any fix ideas?

Not sure about FB if you can log out or not (don't use it myself) but for the native Mail app you really can't log out of your account.  All you can do is delete the account (which is a pain to re-do each time) or go into settings and simply disable the Mail portion of the account (but someone knowledgeable enough could simply turn it back on).
The other option is to set a passcode for your iPhone and/or not let others use your iPhone, or not use the native Mail app for your Comcast mail, use Safari instead.

after logging out of twitter on all functions of iOS 5, I'm still receiving notifications from the past acc i logged in with. its irritating, any solutions?

    Found a fix:
    1. log in with previous account in Twitter settings
    2. go to Twitter apps' "accounts" page
    3. click settings on bottom left
    4. edit the notifications of the previous account by switching "off" for "mentions and replies" and "message"
    5. delete account in Twitter settings

  • Problem of function key desoite of parameter ITSMOBILEDEVICEINCLUDE

    Hello,
We are using handheld terminals psionteklogix 7535 G2. All the F-keys are responding as requested by the application transaction except the F6 and F7 that decreases text size and increases text size.
As SAP recommends, when function keys are not working, we have created and attached (with the help of the parameter ~ITSMOBILEDEVICEINCLUDE ) to the internet service the following code:
for the code check the thread published by dcostadimas
    but no effect.
If we run the transaction and display the html source code, we can see the above script.
Any idea why it is not working ?
    Thank you for your help

    Hello Christophe,
Have you checked SAP note 1491666?
Basically it contains similar recommendations as the other forum you have referred to.

  • [SOLVED] I broke X by pressing a function key

My laptop is a Lenovo y50 4K.  I have Nvidia hybrid optimus graphics with the proprietary Nvidia driver and xrandr modesetting in my .xinitrc.  I have been using my current configuration successfully for a few months.  The issue started when I pressed FN + F3.  This is the function key that toggles my video output source / screen mirroring to the HDMI plug.  I meant to press FN + F2, which is the one that toggles my screen backlight, but my finger missed the key.  I didn't have anything plugged into the HDMI port at the time and X immediately crashed.  I tried to restart X, but it segfaulted.  I tried pressing the function key again, but under TTY all it does is type "p" in console.  I tried restarting the computer, but that changed nothing.  X still crashes.  I tried loading X with a HDMI screen plugged in, no change.  Now I started to think that it was maybe a bios level toggle, so I looked for an option to disable the HDMI plug in my bios settings.  There was none.  I tried rebooting into Windows plugging a device into the HDMI port and cycling through the HDMI screen mirroring options, disabling the HDMI port there and rebooting.  I tried this because I had a wifi issue in the past that turned out to be a bios level toggle from my wifi function key that could only be set from Windows.  At this point, The HDMI output would no longer mirror the screen at bios and Grub, but as soon as the Linux kernel loaded, the screen would mirror over HDMI again.  I don't know if it's relevant or not, but I have used my HDMI port for screen mirroring in the past without problems, but I never used the function key to toggle it before.
This error shows up under dmesg when I try to start X.

It turned out to be exactly this.  Thank you.  It would seem that the function key causing the crash was completely unrelated to my not being able to restart X.  I found the bug report here.
I followed the advice in the comments and got it running by renaming /usr/lib/xorg/modules/libglamoregl.so so glamor can't load.  I'll mark the thread as solved.  Hopefully this bug gets addressed quickly because that fix feels like a dirty hack.

  • "Undefined Function Key. Press Ctrl+F1..." Porting app from 6i to 10G

I am running into a problem porting my application from Oracle Forms 6i to 10G. When I am querying a record based on a field that is not the first on the screen, I get an "Undefined Function Key. Press Ctrl+F1 for list of valid keys." error. I do not get the error using the same function keys from the first field on the screen. I also do not get the error if I click into another field (besides the one I an querying) before hitting my execute query key.
I did some research, and found a fix that seems to work. I can add a WHEN_MOUSE_CLICKED trigger to the form and put in the following:
    Go_Item(:System.Mouse_Item);
That seems to fix the issue. My problem is that I have close to 400 forms to upgrade. I would like to avoid adding this manually to every single form. I have looked into libraries, but I can't seem to figure out how to replicate a WHEN_MOUSE_CLICKED trigger using procedures. I was wondering if there was a way to use the Forms upgrade utility to add this trigger to every form it converts. Does anyone know if that can be done?
Thanks in advance for your help with this.

I'm not sure this solves the problem. This would call the trigger, but the trigger does not currently exist. I would still have to manually create the trigger in all 400 (or so) forms. Is there a way to add it in a more global way?
    Thanks.
