Lokal messaging with Integration Engine on WAS 6.40

Hi,
we try to decouple different applications on the same application server through asynchronous messaging. We want to generate proxy-interfaces from our central XI repository (on another machine). The physical messaging should be local (not over XI).
Is there any possibility to use the integration engine monitoring together with local messaging? Or is a similar monitoring with webservices available?

Error while testing message from Integration Engine.

Hi,
Trying to send message to Integration engine from RWB, using test mesage tab in Integration engine.
I pasted the payload(IDOC payload) , entered sender service, interface name and namespace and also username and password. Selected quality of servie as Exactly once.
While sending the message getting the following error - "Error while sending".
What could be possible reasons for this error.

Please check the following possibilities:
1. Make sure you have selected integration Engine oprtion and not the adapter engine.
2. The USERID and password should be correct.

How to find the IDOC for the archived message in integration engine

Hello experts
In my outbound scenario (Idoc to file), I have a message id got processed from integration engine (SXMB_MONI) but failed in adapter engine (RWB) on 1week back, The same message archive in SXMB_MONI but i found same message in adapter engine.
My question is how to find the archive message IDOC num
We can't find in adapter engine it will show only (sender service, receiver service and interface date and time as well and receiver structure in message content tab) but not idoc no,
Kindly provide the solution for the issue, Is there any alternative to find the idoc?
I can search with partner in sap side but i can get lot of idoc's

Hi,
If solution given by experts in above replies doesn't work then you can try below method.
What you can do is, take some unique values from message content tab (which came in some specific segment from IDOC)
Now in R3 use tcode WE09 and set the dates when this was processed. Set other filter criteria as much as possible e.g. direction, idoc basic type, port, partner etc and at the bottom you can "Fast search mode" their you give the segment name and it's value.
This will help you get you IDOC.

Message Version option in Message Monitoring(integration engine)??

Hi All
While Message Monitoring in Integration engine, when i was checking the message contents in audit log i found a small drop down at the top saying "message version" which has version 0, version 1......
Not all messages were having the same versions, some were having 2 some 8.
What is this Message version option???
Any information on this will be appreciated.

Duplication of messages in Integration Engine Monitoring

I send a file from sender(File System) to receiver (BPM). 1 sender 1 receiver.
There are 2 entries of sender to receiver in Integration Engine Monitoring. These rows are identical.
Quality of Service for File adapter is exactly once.
Could anyone expain this duplication?

A: Initially, please make sure that you do NOT use the processing mode "Test" for your File Sender channel. This mode is intended to be used only for testing purposes and is not guaranteed to work in a cluster environment.
Additionally, please activate the "Advanced Mode" for the respective sender channel or upgrade to SP11 Patch Level 2 or SP12. No further configuration changes are necessary.

Communication error when sending PI message from Integration Engine to AE

Hi Experts,
we currently installed and configured PI 7.3 system. Even I run post installation PI configuration several times, we are still facing error when Integration engine sends message to messaging system. ( my scenario: I send test message to IE directly, avoiding AE )...
It might look easy: but even adding PIISUSER full authorization and system restart, the result is the same. I don't know if it could have connection but I also get HTTP 200 instead of HTTP 500 when testing INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI destination.

So this password change in Exchange Profile + su01 transaction + system restart didn't help.
I increase trace level, and this is even more detailed log in pipeline step Call Adapter.
We also find out that when message arrive to IE we have in java log three entries:

Messages versions integration engine in RWB

Hello,
i've testing in test system (in development system this don't occur).
When i raise a interface, only two version by messages have me in RWB:
adapter engine (status succeffull)
adapter engine (status succeffull)
and integration engine isn't
why?
Besides, in SXMB_MONI haven't any messages
idea?

If message display is proper in Dev and not in Test then the settings in Test system are not proper.
Is the output of the scenario coming as needed?

if you want to use the SSO functionality for any component you need to maintain it first....i think u SSO configurtion is not yet done ....and hence you are getting the above error.......

How to remove XML messages from Integration Engine

i had created file - XI -file scenario activated it and check messages using tcode SXMB_MONI .Error messages coming after every minute as i set polling intervals to 60 seconds .Now i had deleted related objects from IR and ID but still XML messages coming in ....please anyone can help to stop this scenario anyhow.

i had checked everything before this and even i have checked now and i had created that scenaio by my own userid and passwd. Checked sender interface, reciever interface in SXMB_MONI it's the same which i had given name to them . Even we people are surprised that after deleting all the things in IR and ID . i don't know exactly why it is coming but what i am guessing is that after activating the scenarios it might get executed from XI runtime cache and there is no dependency on IR and ID objects . so what i had done that i completely refreshed the XI Runtime Cache by using tcode SXI_CACHE but it's still not working that way also.

Max number of retries of error message in integration engine

Hi,
I have a scenario which is generating lot of email alerts if goes in error in SXMB_MONI....
so then i ticked the " suppress multiple alert " checkbox.....but because of this unless i complete one alert in the alert inbox another alert does not come ( considering that 1 alert comes and then after 5 hrs another error occurs for that same interface then that alert will not come unless we clear the previous alert from the alert inbox )
My requirement is everytime that interface goes in error EXACTLY 1 email alert should be generated

After you configure the email alerts (without Suppers Multiple values) For every error you can get one email. For example one customer sends data that is failed due to Error "A" at this time you will get an email alert, again other message failed due to error "A" then you will get another email, means for the same error type you are getting multiple emails, to avoid this we can use Suppers Multiple alerts option.
In this case Mail doesn't comes to Alert Inbox also.

While posing data from eSourcing to PI box by HTTP , we are getting HTTPerror 403.
The error message states:
ID: E-Sourcing was unable to publish PROP-00090--2010 to ERP. class java.io.IOException Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL:
Problem b)
In another observation the sender file adapter after polling the file is unable to send the message to Integration engine and gives a Connection Time out error. it gives the following error.
Transmitting the message to endpoint http://<Host>:<Port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Error transmitting the message over HTTP. Reason: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect.
I believe that both the errors are for common cause and possibly the Integration engine is not accepting HTTP request.
It looks like these error due to security reason, it seems some authorization profile is missing or may be some other issue,kindly help us at that front.

Thanks for the update.We had checked the URL before posting this message,it is picking up correct URL with namespoace, UID and PWD.Exact error that we are getting is as follows:

Please contact your system administrator.
Here all information are correct.We have checked the SLD check, that is also working fine.Also it is not connectivity related issue, as we are able to transmit XML file to E-Sourcing.
It looks like security issue, but what authorization needs tobe given exactly for HTTP call, we need to know or may be some other issue.

Time Out Error
In order to get rid of it, Your basis person need to play around with follwing three parameters in order to find an appropriate values as per your hardware sizing and requirement......
icm/conn_timeout
icm/keep_alive_timeout
icm/server_port_< n >
How ever, in general SAP recommandation is as follow....
icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=1080,TIMEOUT=30,PROCTIMEOUT=600 to allow a maximum processing time of 10 minutes.

SOAP messages not visible in RWB - Message Monitoring - Adapter Engine

Hi,
following scenario:
ERP is sending IDocs to PI.
Within PI an integration process sends the IDoc data through a SOAP (WS) receiver channel to a system far far away.
In RWB -> Communication Channel Monitoring I can see all delivered messages selecting my SOAP channel.
But:
I can´t see the SOAP messages in RWB -> Message Monitoring -> Messages of Adapter Engine.
In RWB -> Message Monitoring -> Messages of Integration Engine I only see SOAP messages with status "Error".
Successful column is empty.
Do I have to adjust some system / monitoring parameters also seeing SOAP messages in RWB->Message Monitoring?

But there are thousands of successful messages delivered to the receiver.
These successful messages can only be seen in the Channel Monitoring.
I can´t find these successful messages in Message Monitoring.
Only some with status "Error" are displayed.
