Long deleted ODS shows after upd to 3.5 (IPacks and Pr.Chains)
Hello,
we used to have an ODS object (lets say "XXX") in our system, but it was deleted more than 3 years ago. Now we've updated to 3.5 and when working in certain Process chains or in certain infopackages, the following message appears:
"Data target 'XXX' removed from list of loadable targets; not loadable" - RSM 33
"Data target 'XXX' is not active or incorrect; No loading allowed" - RSM 36
Can anybody give me a hint?

we solved it yesterday. The RSU6 was used (therefore the points ;O))
But, as you said, we could not find it because the ODS was not existing any more. Therefore, before RSU6, we changed an entry in table RSUPDINFO and "assigned" the update rules to an existing cube (so that you can then find and delete them via RSU6).

Missing Proxy shows after updating OS10.10.3 supplemental and Pro Video Formats 2.0.1
About 1 hour ago I quit FCPX with a project that was nearly finished.
Then I updated MacOS 10.10.3 supplement plus Pro Video Formats.
Then I opened the project again I was working on before.
Now all the clips, the multicam's, the project file show "Missing Proxy".
The relink command finds the looked for clip, but the clip does not show up. neither does it relink all the other clips.
"Missing Proxy" all over.
How can I get this project back to working order?it was set to proxy
I have proxy files for my media
I changed to original/optimized: now about half the clips show up. source: Canon XF305
What about the rest? Source: Nikon D800, Nikon D7000 some are missing, Panasonic is "Missing"
missing is also a Logic Pro File and a sound file from a audio recorder -
After my last and latest upgrade to Iphone 5, i can no longer delete open app by tapping the home button twice, and then swiping off the screen. In effect these apps are open and using data. This has only just occured since the upgrade to ios 7.1.1 After many attempts to press home button twice....nothing happens, and so app are open. Please advise? any answers?

Go to Settings>General>Accessability>Assistive touch(in the bottom)
and switch the toggle on. You'll find now a smaal square around your screen.
Touch it aand perform the double click gesture with the virtual home button on the screen.
I think your Home button has been damaged.

Can't delete tv shows since iPad 7 upgrade
Since I upgraded to iPad 7 software I can no longer delete tv shows. I have tried to edit them and only certain series appear with an x in the corner to be deleted. The others do not. Any suggestions welcome.
On another note I think in general that the iPad 7 upgrade makes the icons look tacky and I wish I hadn't upgraded.
I can't close theta applications and the battery life is therefore non-existent.
Very disappointed. Wish I could go back to original settings...Were you or somebody else streaming these TV shows at one point? When that happens to me, I have to download the show completely to my iPad, then delete it.
If you were streaming the shows, or even if you weren't, download one of the shows and then try to delete it. -

After deletion ODS change log, Delta upload OK?
Hi all,
Now I am reducing data from BW server. For this purpose, I will delete ODS change log. Both of data "from ODS" and "to ODS" are uploaded by Delta Upload.
If I delete change log after last delta initialization, is there any problem to next delta upload?
For example, the last delta initializing was done April 1. And I delete the change log up to April 30. After this operation, can be expected any problem to Delta upload?
Bamboo ShampooI dont think it will cause any issue with next delta loads.
Data goes from ODS to its targets from change log table.
But I think better have strategy like..'delete change log data only for requests older than say...1 month or 2 months..'
so that if u have problems with recent data loads..u can reload easily..
u can also try cleaning up old requests from the PSA tables in the system..

After installing Mavericks, why can I no longer delete junk mail on my iMAC Mail program? Also, mail is sometimes slow to load in mornings on my iMac after it has appeared on my iPhone. I temporarily solved that by shutting down and reopening mail two or three times.
I have the same problem on my iMac. Most of what it puts in the "junk folder" is junk. I delete all of the messages in the folder and they're back the next time I check it. I have messages in that folder that have were received 2 months ago! I'm thinking of unchecking "junk folder" in preferences. Very frustrating.

Some time ago, I attempted to download 2 episodes of Criminal Minds tv show. It downloaded for 2 days before I realized it. I stopped and tried to delete both episodes after several more efforts with the same result. Every time I ANYTHING now, those same two episodes show up again and start to download again! I can't make them go away! I have successfully deleted songs and audiobooks over the last year, but these tv shows won't stop downloading and delete. Any suggestions. Thanks - danafromcripplecreek.

I have a very strange behivor in my Iphone 4 running OS 5.0.1.
pre incedint details:
I had a differant IPhone 4 running IOS 4.3.3 which i backup and restored to the new device running IOS 5.0 and then upgraded it to 5.0.1.
My problem is that i had 1 SMS under 1 contact which i deleted. once i'm restarting the device the deleted SMS is shows again like i didn't deleted it.
This issue effecting only this person and can happened each time i'm doing this steps.
Any idea why this can happen? i'm concern that it related somehow to miscellanies tools / torjan etc'

I have figure out what is causing this issue I believe. I have a macbook pro which I use to sync my iPhone. I also have a Mac Pro that I will occasionally hook my iphone up too so it can charge. I have my phone set NOT to automatically sync for this reason. However when I plug it into either machine the sync comes up for some reason and normally does once for a longer period and then again yet if you look in iTunes it doesn't show that it's synching. I use to always cancel it because I was afraid it would mess up my phone. I one day decided... I wonder if that's what's causing the application issue. so I stopped canceling it and just letting it do it's thing and I didn't have the issue. Well one day I accidentally canceled it because someone sent me a text and I wasn't paying attention... and guess what? I had the issue with all the applications wanting to be put back on the phone!!! -

ITunes no longer deleting apps after update
Hi,
Since the last update of iTunes, whenever I update apps, it no longer deletes the old version of the app which has been upated. This only happens on one of my macs. They are all running the most up to date version of Lion and the most up to date version of Itunes.
Any ideas?

PowerPoint using macro to delete text boxes after printing

We created custom shows in Powerpoint and are running a macro to insert temporary page numbers on the slides before printing. The issue is that I need to remove the page numbers after printing. I'm a novice at VBA so I'm sure there is an easy

According to the description, you want to remove the shapes which created after you print the presentaion.
I suggest that you name the shape you added with some rule, then we can delete thease shapes via the name rule.
And here is a sample that you delete the shapes which name contains the
myShape words on the first slide for your reference:

Hello everyone!
Note**: I am in no way attempting to illustrate how to get FREE email listing from Yahoo! Mail, I am only reciting what I have stumbled upon. I do not know if Yahoo! actually wants this to work in Mail. but it does, so if they didn't want it to work they will patch it or something. I recommend that you take advantage of their paid service(annual) which allows POP forwarding of emails quickly and withou any need for reconfiguration.
I hope this "fix" is not being rementioned or creates redundancy, however after hours of searching all sorts of foums(including the Apple forums ofcourse) I was unable to find a true fix. Simply put, I just got a brand new Macbook Air 13'' for Christmas 2011. I also bought a Macbook Pro 15'' back in late 2010. I was never able to get Yahoo! Mail configured even through methods of IMAP rather than POP or POP3. Oddly enough, on my Macbook Air and Pro, now, when I try to redo the Yahoo! settings, my Inbox would display messages for a matter of seconds and then the messages would dissapear. However, there was still a number next to my Yahoo! e-mail, accurately indicating how many unread messages I had. I fixed it like so:
1) Go to www.yahoo.com-- Configure Yahoo! account via account settings to work off of IMAP rather than POP Forwarding. Do so by going into account options on the top right or left hand of your screen and clicking through the forwarding options until you see IMAP. Make sure you save your new settings! This is very simple and I feel requires no further explanation. If you become confused, let me know and I will go into detail then.
2) Once your Yahoo! Mail account is IMAP simply go into the Mail application on OSX (Mac). On the top bar of the Mail pane click on the "Mail" option in between the Apple sign and File. Then, Click on Preferences from that dropdown pane. When this window appears, Click on the "@" symbol that says "Accounts" right under it. This is in between General and RSS options. Under the left-hand list that says "Accounts", click on the "+" sign as opposed to the "-" sign you will see there. This will allow you to setup an account or additional accounts. A window then will appear with options:
3) ****Make sure you ARE connected to the internet wirelessly or via ethernet for this part!****

---------- Password: (Type in your password to your email account, this IS CASE SENSITIVE.)
4) Now! Listen! (lol), hit create and let the mac show you the settings it has pinged back from the Yahoo! mail server. It should illustrate that your e-mail is an IMAP based email address etc. As long as the account is created with the IMAP configuration and Mail reads it as so, you have succeeded thus far.
5) Critial Step here: Go into the Mail application on OSX (Mac). On the top bar of the Mail pane click on the "Mail" option in between the Apple sign and File. Then, Click on Preferences from that dropdown pane. When this window appears, Click on the "@" symbol that says "Accounts" right under it. This is in between General and RSS options. Under the left-hand list that says "Accounts", click on the Yahoo! IMAP account. Close to the top of that page between the different Mail options and the account settings you will see three different bar pages: a) Account Information, b) Mailbox Behaviors and c) Advanced.
6) Click on the Advanced tab. Do not touch anything on this page, except, IMAP Path Prefix. This is located in the middle of the Advanced page screen right above Port, where you will see |Port: 993 (Box IS checked for: USE SSL). In that IMAP Patch Prefix type the name of your Inbox(I say this because some people rename it in Yahoo!). Mine is simply "Inbox" so my configuration in Mail looks like so: | Imap Path Prefix: Inbox |. After this, click on "General" or attempt to close the Mail options window and it will as you to save the new setting. Ofcourse, hit yes and click the Get Mail envelope and you will see your Inbox populate, assuming you have new mail.
What this means: Test your OUTGOING mail server by sending yourself an e-mail either from your Yahoo! Mail or from another email. Thus, this will allow you tot est your INCOMING email as was now reconfigured to IMAP by seeing if you actually receive the email.
Reason for doing so in this sequence: By letting Mail create the account it will properly import all of your mail folders you have in your Yahoo! Mail account. Obviously, your Inbox and Outbox as well as Sent and Trash folders will import but I have additional folders, for example, that also imported for putting financials or receipts into different folders for organization. Once these are populated naturally, by changing the IMAP Path Prefix you're telling the Mail application where to send your new emails. Atleast this is my understanding of it.
Unfortuntely, I am not an officially educated 'techie", however, I have been fiddling with computers over the last 20 years and have been training myself to become Apple expert, seing as I have decided to completely convert to Apple products. Apple is just reliable. This, to me, is priceless. I truly hope I have helped you and that I have saved hours of Youtube video watching as well as forum searching for many. Not Really, you could forward them to your account, after you've told your mail program not to delete the emails at all, but they will show up as being from you instead of the original sender. The originals at Yahoo have been dumped and probably purged. It would take an IT manager at Yahoo to manually replace the emails, not much chance of that.
I've already asked yahoo to "restore" my inbox to a day ago. That should help me with retrieving some of the messages back, I hope.
Also, I was wondering about the sync feature on the Mac Mail and what will actually happen if I use it. Does it apply to mail messages, or to address book and calendar entries?
The sync feature refers to IMAP email accounts like .Mac or .Me or an Imap gmail account. I didn't think Yahoo offered IMAP email accounts.
Apple's MobileMe membership will let you sync your Mail, AddressBook, Calender, personal website with iWeb, etc.
