Long Response fields when downloaded as a detailed view PDF of a single response are cut off

When a field in a form runs more than one line, the field is converted into a single line scrolling box when exported as a PDF for a single detailed view. It is readable by scrolling, but is cut off when printing it out, making hard copies useless.
Is their some formatting option I am missing? Can a field be expanded vertically?

Is the field a "multi-line" text field (its the second icon on the Add Item toolbar in the Design tab)?
If it is you can just make the field bigger by dragging the lower right corner.

I use Dynamo Admin to get information of assets. And when I try to print some item in the ContentRepository (item should contain non-ASCII character in the property value) the response is cut off at this character. how to solve this problem?

Hi,
I am not sure there is a solution for that. Basically dyn/admin does not work well with special characters using print-item and add-item. This should be done directly on the database. Dyn/admin is more of a "comfort" tool.
If you are doing this to update your DB dynamically without restarting the instance, you should avoid if you will be using some special characetrs... believe me... we work in french :-)

Sorry, but I don't know anything about that app.
I did go to their Web site and I see they have a support link. Perhaps you can get help there or in their forum.
If you are OK with a DVD with a basic menu, you could try the Share>DVD option in FCP.

I understand that Forms 6i and Oracle 9 iAS have been de-supported for years. Meanwhile we do still run a small application in the 9 iAS environment.
We have forms and reports running on Windows 2000 server, I am able to successfully clone the same 9 iAS from Windows 2000 to a Virtual Server Windows 2003 x32 and all runs fine, the only problem is that the fonts in the pdf reports are larger in the new Windows 2003 environment as compared to the original Windows 2000 and characters are cut off when they don't fit in the pdf report output in 2003 env.
Any advice is most appreciated.

When running a slideshow from an album it will not run properly if the photos are sorted manually. Sort them by any of the other options, title, date, rating, etc. and it will play correctly.
Send a report of the problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.
If you must sort them manually create the slideshow in the slideshow mode in iPhoto, not from an album.

When starting FF4 RC1 maximized, tabs ("tabs on top" mode) are cut off on top. To restore their normal display, you restore and maximize the window again.

After a bit of searching: solved by disabling TooManyTabs 1.3.2 extension.

I suggest that you try unchecking both of the crop options - landscape & portrait.
To re-create your situation, I had to check the crop for landscape pictures option.
I prefer to have control over any cropping so I tend to crop each image first before creating the slide show.

go to the itunes store. select more in the bottom right select purchased. then press the cloud icon to DL striaght to the phone. Id use wifi. you can also DL into computer then synv over to phone.

I have a problem too - may be related to this. I downloaded 5 albums over the weekend, plus a few singles. Every one of them has at least 1 song that stops playing partway through, some as quickly as 5 seconds in. After I select "bookmark this page" from the bookmarks menu, and then select "show all the bookmarks folders" with the pulldown arrow, the bookmarks folder list appears but the right side and the bottom are cut off so that no buttons are showing. Trying to resize the window does not work. Double clicking on the desired folder selects the folder name for editing, however, the caption at the top says "bookmark saved" and sometimes it is actually where I would like it to be added.

After finding that I did not have a chrome folder, or userchrome.css file, I installed ChromEdit Plus. Through this app I was able to create a chrome folder and the userchrome.css file using the information from finitarry. The problem still existed. This code changes the folderview pane in the add bookmarks window. The problem is the pane expands larger than the window. Let me see if I can clairify, When you select "bookmark this page" the add bookmark "window" opens. to open the folderview pane, click on the down arrow to the right of the folder pulldown menu. The window is not expanding to contain the pane correctly and pushes all the other controls off the screen.

Slideshow pictures are cut off when viewing on tv

Hi..I burned several iphoto slideshows onto a dvd via idvd. I used 16:9 aspect ratio whenever prompted. When I play the dvd and watch the slideshows on tv, all the pictures are cut off on the sides. I tried changing the tv screen (wide, cinema, normal, etc) but they are still cut off. The tv is hd. Any ideas how I might fix this? Thanks!

"download" link in Detail View to open in new browser window?

How would I go about getting the image that opens, after clicking "download" in detail view on a photo page, to open in a new window. I would like to get back to the detail view by closing the window, as opposed to using the back button.

you need to change photos page's detail view widget's downloadPhoto function (in DetailView.js file), you can change it in several places:
1) inside iweb.app, you have to drill into iweb.app by control click on it and select Show Package Contents... to inside iWeb.app/Contents/Resources/Widgets/DetailView.iwdgt
2) inside your published site: <your site>/Scripts/Widgets/DetailView

Problem with CITY field when downloading to excel

Hi Gurus,
I have CITY field which is of 30 char length.Now Iam downloading the record having other fields also along with city field....Now my requirement is that in the Excel the city field should be right justified and the remaining characters should be space....How can we do that...
Generally I know that when We download to excel the fields adjust according to the data it has rather then with thier field size in SAP.

In case of standard objects, it would be better if you can share the details like report name, the way you tried downloading(From menu, tool bar etc). Also search if there is any OSS notes for that program.
