I have updated mac software and iphone itunes etc, already erase itunes and reinstall it. i have restores my iphone and all tips from support site about sync. seems to be a problem with my isync when conect iphone takes like 5 minutes to begins sync all, and it never sync contacts or ical. i got iphone 3g last software

Cannot sync with Outlook since last update

Hello,
Since last update of Sony PC Companion, I cannot synchronize anymore Outlook with Gmal calendar and contacts. A strange error occurs and then PC Companion stop to work. I have to kill it. In order to restart it, I need to restart the computer. Since last update of PC Companion, it has requested me to setup again the parameter of the synchronization, which is strange. Then synchronization fails:

Voice memos no longer syncing (AGAIN) w/ 5.1 update

For years there have been tremendous problems when trying to move voice memos from the iPhone to a computer. Usually iTunes would not recognize any voice memos without a bunch of work-arounds, like checking/unchecking boxes consolidating the library, etc.
With the update before this one, syncing my lectures actually worked. I was able to put my lectures that I recorded on my iPhone onto my computer for about two months!
I updated my iPhone and iTunes last night, and now the syncing memo problems are back and the work-arounds are not working.
So this leads to the following questions:
What can I do to fix this?
Why can't Apple get that app to function correctly after years of problems?
Also, another slightly unrelated question,
I tried the suggestion of manually deleting older memos through the app, and now I have 7.9 gb of "Other" on my phone that I can't see or remove. Any ideas on how to attack that problem?

Okay, I somehow fixed it, but I don't know how or why, really. I think this is what happened:
Used a 3rd party program, iExplorer, to view my files. I copied them to my harddrive via the program.
I re-synced with itunes, and magically it found all of the memos it didn't recognize three minutes prior.

Can no longer sync movie video playlist after update?

I recently performed the 3.0 update to my iPhone 3g with no apparent issues. However, I went to play a movie video last night and discovered that only my music videos had synced (all were previously on the iPhone with no problems). Checking the iPhone settings under video I noticed that the tab lists a section for movie rentals and TV shows but does not specifically call out movies that you own. Under tv shows is where I normally expect to select which video playlist to sync for which none were available (even though I have one with 3 movie videos in it). It looks like it handles tv show video playlists only which I have not tested.
This is different from before the update where I could sync any video playlist I wanted. The videos were all downloaded from iTunes so there should be no issues or questions about format and source. Am I missing something? Thanks.

after you connect your iPhone and go to the 'video' tab, if you scroll down, you should see your 'movies' section which should list the 'movie' files you have in the 'movies' section of iTunes. if you select the videos you want to sync, hit save/apply and sync, you should get the videos on your iPhone.
video playlists will only sync files in the 'tv shows' category, not files in the 'movies' category of iTunes. i'm not sure why they did it like this, but they did, and it highly annoys me. my work around is to make all of my 'movies' go into the 'tv shows' category, which i can then add to a playlist and have it synced. more work, but it works...

Eternity Long Syncing, Getting Stuck On Last Step

Okay, I have tried and tried to solve this problem on my own and I am just at a dead end here. One time I was happy with having music on my iPod Touch 5 until all of a sudden the music would not show up on there anymore. I'm sure a lot of people are experiencing the same thing, having their playlist come up gray-colored with that dotted circle next to it and having it say that it is in the storage in blue but not really on your iPod/iPhone. The real problem I see for me at least it that it does not quite finish the syncing process. It'll get stuck on "waiting for changes to be applied" and well one time last night i left my iPod on that step over night into 9am this morning and STILL on that last step. No music. This is the same for my iPhone 5s. Although at one point I was able to manually grab a song from my playlist and drag to my phone and it'll be on there but that stopped too. Any new songs I manually drag to the phone will show up in that grayed color, but the blue storage part on the bottom part accounts for it, but its not on the phone/pod. The only problem I can spot as of right now is that its not "completely" getting done with syncing. And yes I have tried many alternatives; I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled back in the proper way (in case this helps I do have a Windows 7 computer), I've rebooted my iPod 5 and iPhone 5s before syncing, I have un-check marked the "Sync Music" and re-checked it back (That also never gets done syncing, so I just cancel it), I even restored my iPod as new just to see if it'll get music on there and well it didn't work (I was thinking that something corrupted could have been on the iPod as well as in the back-up so I did that and no improvments. I didnt do this for my iPhone yet.), and yes this iTunes is authorized with this computer. I don't know what else to do, this could either be my iPod, the computer, iTunes (I have the 11.1.4) or the dock connector messed up. I just want that syncing to be finished!!! Can someone please help me out so I can listen to music on my iPod again. Thank you!
Also as additional information, it only shows the songs I've bought off of iTunes, rather than the ones I have on my computer. The majority of my playlist came from my computer and I have it in the "My Documents", I have 540 songs total.

Outlook calendar no longer syncs after IOS 7 / iTunes update

Running Outlook 2003 on Win XP. Yes that's what IT allows....
Updated IOS7 (now at 7.0.3), tried to sync on the next day at work. Itunes forced me to update (11.1.2.31).
Updated iTunes.
Notes sync.
Calendar does not.

I've disabled OTA calendar sync I know of (Google, iCloud) with no effect. There are still some iCal feeds that I left on.
Suggestions appreciated, but I'm stuck with my work environment for now. Really would like to get back where I was before "updating". :-)

Still struggling with this. I did discover a diagnostic in iTunes, but it says all is well. I suspect that is because it thinks the iPhone is syncing the Outlook calendar over the air:

Calendar on my iPhone 6 is no longer syncing with iCloud since I update to IOS 8.1

Apparently there are some syncing issues with iCloud with the new IOS 8.1.
Is there any chance to have a solution for that or we have to wait for a new update?

Like Jim, mine is mirroring with no problem. I use it several times a week. It would not appear to something Apple needs to fix. As for "all the fixes here" we have no way of knowing what that means, so it is difficult to determine what to recommend.

Calendar no longer syncing properly after 3.0 update

After the 3.0 update, any events that I've entered into the iPhone's calendar are not showing up in iCal. As well as that, all of my iCal events have been duplicated on the iPhone...
I use Mobileme, but haven't changed anything. Everything worked absolutely fine prior. The only variation has been updating the phone's OS to 3.0...
I'm having general Mobileme issues... 'replace info on this iPhone' (from the iTunes summary control) has no effect... controlling Mobileme from the iPhone preferences have none either...
I never learn: don't immediately install OS updates. Let them work the bugs out first...

I am going crazy..I worked on this nightmare 14 hours yesterday working with 4 techs on apple mobileme chat, 2 hours in the apple corte madera store and i have yet to fix this issue. i am unable to sync either the contacts or the calenders over the air via mobileme.
Most of the techs on the chat line don't seem to even read what one writes, because they ask questions that make no sense.
i have tried numerous times deleting the mobileme, waiting 10 seconds and then re loading...
It stems from getting duplicate calender items and duplicate contacts(5404 x 2=10,808 total) after syncing the new g3s with my mac book pro. One of the reps at the corte madera apple store was able to get all my contacts and calenders off my phone, and he was able to upload my calender items over the air from mobileme, however we thought since i have so many contacts(5404), thati it would just take time. Well lots of time has passed, and i still have no contacts in my new iphone.

everytime I tryed to sync app's in Iphone 5S I received a mesage needs to Authorize this computer
I had outhorized a lot
But, is curious, my Ipad Mini (first gen.) I can sync everything including App's with the same cable!
I guess this is a problem from new Itunes 11.1.4 because I didn't had problems like this before

Ever since I got the last update, why don't my calls or text messages work?

I updated my phone the last two times there was one available. I am now on IOS 6.1.2 and my service keeps going from regular to extended and my phone calls don't work, and my text messages don't work unless I am in extended. If I am not in extended (which it goes back and forth), no one can hear me and my calls drop, and it says I have full bars. Why is this happening? Can I fix this or do I have to wait for the next update?

Delete the app then re download it from the App Store.
Hold down the Scrabble app until all the apps jiggle. Then tap the x on the Scrabble app then tap Delete. Press once on your Home button to stop the jiggling.
Then open the App Store to re download the app.

I made the update to Os X Mavericks and my MacBook Pro 13' is having some isues; the SD slot card is not readding the cards. Sometimes, when I have a couples of hours using the lap, when I open the finder or any file, there are only the name of the files, but not images and I can open then even if I selected. Then I need to restar the lap to open them.

Firefox will no longer start after downloading the last update

Yesterday (2/7/14) I downloaded the latest Firefox update. While the update was being installed I got a Parse error message. When I tried to restart Firefox nothing happened. I tried reinstalling Firefox (both with and without uninstalling the old version) and Firefox would start at the end of the installation process but after I closed Firefox it would not restart. I tried starting it in the safe mode but that didn't work. When I use the Task Manager Processes tab I see Firefox open for about a second and then it disappears.
I was finally able to get it to open by using Windows Explorer to set the compatibility mode of the Firefox.exe file to "Windows 2000" but I don't think that is a good solution.
Note that I am running the Windows XP Professional operating system.

Yes, I uninstalled Firefox, deleted the program folder, and then reinstalled Firefox. Firefox still would not start until I set the compatibility to Windows 2000.

PLEASE HELP!

Go to System Preferences, select Dock.
For the sliders, put them in the middle, about halfway between min/max and small/large. Make sure the "automatically hide and show the dock" is UNCHECKED.
If you still have the problem after doing that, check to see if other users/logins on the computer have the same issue. If they show the dock ok, and it is only your login that has the problem, then go to your username/Library folder, and open the Preferences folder inside of it. Move all files that are com.apple.dock.* to the desktop and restart. If the problem is fixed, then put those files in the trash, otherwise move them back to where they were.
If all users have the problem, go to your hard drive Library folder (not the one inside a user's folder) and open it, then open Preferences folder, then move all com.apple.dock*.* files to the desktop, restart, and see if the problem is fixed. If it is, put those files in the trash, otherwise restore them to where they were.

My Iphone no longer syncs with the latest ITunes update. I've uninstalled it and stop and started Apple Mobile Device. How do i get it to sync again?

I am using Windows 8.
I downloaded the latest update from a few days ago 1/22/2014. Now my Iphone isnt being registered by Itunes. The computer recognizes it and it charges the phone.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.
