Long term reimbursement update(subtype 590)

hi,
i could not update multiple asset descriptions in 590 subtype through LSMW or BDC. please help me how can i do that. do we have any BAPI to upload or is ther any other method of upload.?

I think you can write a program which returns the number of times an employee can clain the reimbursment and the amount for which he can claim with in the specific eligbility period and ling it to the reimbursment wage type in feature 40 ECS. This may help you in achieving your requirements. But in this case, the criteria will be same for all cases where this wage type is used.
Once this thing is done, it allows the employee to upload multiple entries for this as defined by the eligibility.

  • Long term Reimbursement

    Hi Experts,

Plz suggest what could be reasons for that.

    Hi,
I have checked the same, it is correctly maintained in the Eligibility for the RAPs table.
I am able to find the exact reason for this error. I think we need to maintain the eligibilty for the SHFS somewhere else also but dont know exactly where to maintain the same.

  • End date of Long term reimbursment

    Hi SAP gurus,
As you all know that end date for any sub type of the info type 0590 is determined by the year block maintained in customization in fetaure 40LTR.System proposes the end date as per this feature but the end date on screen  is in non modifiable format which means we cant change the end date proposed by the system.
Is there any way we can allow the user to change the end date of the record.
    Regards

    Hi,
In general, the end date should be editable for changing.  Only the start date will be fixed.  What product type are you using?
Anyway in case you want to move the end date for a reason like extension of contract, then you can use roll over option.  This is supported only for Interest rate Instrument product type.  This would help maintain the history of actions performed on the transaction.
But in case if you want to change the end date because you have input wrongly, then you have to change it in the contract.  If you have posted the end date flows, then those flows have to be reversed in FTR_EDIT, reverse flows posted and then end date changed and new flows posted.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • Long term: Mountain Lion or Snow Leopard

    Hi,
Had to have new hard drive installed a few days ago. System was "upgraded" to Mountain Lion. I had a backup from TimeMachine but for whatever reason, when configuring hard drive it would not see my external hard drive so I had to restore applications manually (read one by one) after "blank canvas" configuration. Now I find out all my powerpc-based applications wont work because Apple has not renewed licensing for Rosetta (info gathered from Communities). My powerpc applications are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office 2011, turboCad, etc.
I found out I have two options:
    1) Erase hard drive and Restore from TimeMachine to previous hard drive contents from 10 days ago, which run on Snow Leopard (which I had downloaded, so no disks). Will this work?
    2) Install Parallels 7 or VM firmware, and somehow install Snow Leopard there and run my powerpc applications from there. How to do this I have no idea...
    Long term:
If Apple will never restore Rosetta or powerpc capabilities, should I go with option 2 and get on with the "new world"? I'm not too technically savvy and not sure how I can do this on my own... so would need to go see the Geniuses for this, I guess...  But I'm not sure what the advantages of Mountain Lion are! So far, I dont see much, and I am not sure I would know how to maintain a "Parallel PC universe" without doubling everything.
Since I'm not sure of any advantages to Mountain Lion, I should maybe go back to my Snow Leopard version, then? but I am not sure how, exactly, without loosing everything once more.
Of course, if someone knows there are powerpc capabilities for Mountain Lion in the future, then I am all set, right? Does anyone know how Apple or Microsoft plan to "help" us poor souls who choose Mountain Lion without being aware of these issues?
(note: I have moved three times in the past two years and cannot get my hands on my iWorks CDs or my Microsoft Office 2011 CDs)
    Any recommendations?

Dropping Rosetta was a technical decision. As stated, Apple has traditionally only supported it's current and last OS versions.
There are tons of advantages to updating to Mountain Lion, assuming your hardware supports it. Look HERE for details and HERE for hardware compatibility and instructions on how to upgrade properly.
Alansky is correct that this is not new news as well. He also is correct in saying that Rosetta will never again be supported. If I remember correctly, the last PowerPC version of Photoshop is CS2 released in 2005. That's 7 years and 4 major releases ago. Sorry to say, but it is time to bit the bullet, move to Mountain Lion and update your legacy software.
I am using Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 and it runs fine on Mountain Lion 10.8.
You can certainly install and run Snow Leopard in a Parallels partition but I don't recommend it. Take a look HERE for details.
Not having your Office install disks sounds suspicious but we'll assume that you have a legal copy. In that case, you should be abe to contact Microsoft HERE for assistance in retrieving your product key and getting a download link.

  • White background or Black background suited for long term watching ?

    Hello,
I saw many desktop themes with white or light grey background a few years ago, but now, many of them turn into black background with white or blue or cyan or others color of fonts.
As a programmer, I am just curious about the theme: which type is suited for long term use of computer?
I have tried both, and found grey background is easy to read because it is similiar to read on paper, but it looks like a lighting-bulb!; black background with blue font is cool, along with less luminosity, seems free my eyes.
But another problem is the color choosing. With light grey background, it seems any color is right. But with black background, colors should be carefully selected, since some colors are not suit black background at all.
Grayscale is another one. With light grey  background, I can easily tune my font in grayscale, like Japanese cartoon paper (I like it very much!), gracifully to distinct keywords. But with black background, it is ugly to use grayscale to distinct keywords.
      How about your ideas?

I commented out the external logo calls (since the new logo area fits really nicely with this style), The sections I commented out can probably be removed safely, and I made the textbox post area more readable.  Now I love the new webpage layout!
Here's the dark home page style I'm using, also based on Hrwa's archlinx homepage userstyle, but I havent made too many changes there, other than the package search box needed a little tweeking.   I havent really checked the other pages, I do know the wiki pages have some issues with this style, if anyone else wants to help out

  • HT1338 I have version Mac OS X 10.5.8. I no longer get software updates. What could be the problem?

I have version Mac OS X 10.5.8. I no longer get software updates. What could be the problem?

No problem. You have to pay for the next upgrades, just like you paid for the last one.
Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard — Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and
               terms apply.
    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service — this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.
OS X Mountain Lion — System Requirements
Macs that can be upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion
             1. iMac (Mid 2007 or newer) — Model Identifier 7,1 or later
             2. MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer) —
                 Model Identifier 5,1 or later
             3. MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             4. MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer) — Model Identifier 2,1 or later
             5. Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             6. Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
             7. Xserve (Early 2009) — Model Identifier 3,1 or later
To find the model identifier open System Profiler in the Utilities folder. It's displayed in the panel on the right.
    Are my applications compatible?
See App Compatibility Table — RoaringApps.
For a complete How-To introduction from Apple see Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion.

  • Short term portion of a long term loan to be posted to different G/L

    Hello,
You have entered a 10 year loan with yearly installments as an interest rate instrument (so NOT via loans module ! )
Long term loans are posted initially to G/L 174000000
However, during the lifetime of the loan, the portion that becomes due in less than one year should be reclassified to another G/L account, e.g. G/L  42400000.
How can such "reclassifiation" posting be customized and executed by a standard SAP transaction?
    Thx,
    Carl

    Hi Prasad,
Referring to your message if it is not possible in Money Market, is it possible in Loans Management.  The requirement is exactly same.  Here the requirement is mainly to meet the reporting requirements.
Out of the total long term loan, the portion which is filling due within a period of one year need to be identified as current liability which is payable within one year and it is not about reclassification or something of that nature.  This is the reason I was trying to ask you the postings, how it can happen?
The initial posting has gone to Long term liability GL account based on the account determination.  Out of the total loan borrowed, the portion of installments which are becoming due within one year need to be shown as current liabililty/current maturity.  Can you please post if this can be handled with standard functionality.
thanks in advance for the update.

  • Long-Term Trends of Query and  Statistcs - BI Application Type

    HI all,
There is a query to read the statistical data as to how many times a query has been executed, and how long has each query taken while its run for a specific time period. The name of this query is Long Term Trends of Query and statistics, 0TCT_MC01_Q0424.  After making a bit of modification in this query, I added a key figure that says Count (To give u the count of the number of times this BI application object has been run).
In this query, there is a navigational attribute called BI Application Type, its values are XLWB, TMPL and # (Not Assigned). XLWB would be for queries or workbooks that have been run, TMPL would be for templates but what is the # for.
I ran this query for a day. The result showed that there is another query which has been run almost 88 times today, however, when I drill down on BI application type, I find that XLWB count is 5 while # count is 83. I want to know what is this #.
appreciate if anyone can clarify this.
    Rgds,
    Sree.

    Any update on this,
    Rgds,
    Sree.

  • Using "Deleted Items" folder for long term storage.

I have a user that is using the "Deleted Items" folder in Outlook for long-term storage.  He has unchecked the box in the options which would remove the items in the Deleted Items folder at shutdown
and is having problems with his Outlook freezing up several times a day.  He was using a Microsoft Surface as his primary computer and has since changed to a Dell Latitude, but Outlook still freezes up.  He has an Office 365 Pro Plus license.
I have been looking for articles to explain all the reasons for not using "Deleted Items" for storage, but in order to get him to change, This is not a .pst, it is the Outlook default “Deleted Items”.
.  I really need some "ammunition" to let him know the consequences of keep that much mail in Deleted Items.
Could you tell me when Outlook starts, does it enumerate the Deleted Items folder as it does the Inbox?

I have to agree with Robert's point here. The question of whether or not the user should be doing this answers itself: of course he shouldn't. On a lighter note there's a Dilbert cartoon from 2003 which covers this very point:
    http://dilbert.com/strips/comic/2003-11-13/
I'd suggest you ask him to create a sub-folder of his inbox and get him to move everything over, then he still has his history and can use deleted items the way it was intended.
The question I would ask is are you sure that this has any bearing on his Outlook freezing issue? I have encountered people who never empty their recycle bin and I have encountered issues with Outlook freezing, but I don't recall ever having the two together.
If you still have issues after he's moved everything then it's a general Outlook freezing issue, so you have to look at those sort of things. For a start, is it bang up to date with Microsoft Updates? If so how big is his mailbox? Presumably he has an ost
file, so how big and fragmented is that? I'd probably try creating a new Outlook profile. If not then what add-ins does he have, could they all be disabled for a while to see if it's one of them, then add them back one at a time? If not is it worth running
a repair in Office? I've had that fix a fair few issues.
Just a few thoughts. I don't know if any of them will help.

  • Extending Long-Term Protection (tape)

    Hi all,
This should hopefully be a simple Q&A.  I'm using local disk for short-term backup - roughly 30 days.  I also have a tape library attached that I use for Long-Term protection. The protection group is configured to keep weekly run tapes for
8 weeks, and the monthly tapes are marked to keep for 3 years.
If I reconfigure the protection group to keep the monthly tapes for 5 years, will it update the time-stamp for any previously writtent monthly tape?
Example:  On May 1, a monthly tape was written w/ a 3 year retention period (as per the protection group).  If I edit the PG to reflect 5 years instead of 3, will that tape on May 1 update with the 5 year retention policy?  Or will it still only
reflect 3 years, because that was the policy at the time of the write?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Yes, by default the monthly tape recovery points should reflect the new recovery retention period.  We introduced a registry setting to prevent that from occurring for customers who do not want the default behavior.
    DPM 2012 Sp1 UR2 KB2706783 see Issue 8
Expiry dates for valid datasets that are already written to tape are changed when the retention range is changed during a protection group modification.
For example, a protection group is configured for long-term tape recovery points with custom long-term recovery goals. Recovery Goal 1 has a smaller retention range than other recovery goals. In this configuration, if a protection group is changed to remove
Recovery Goal 1 and to keep other recovery goals, the datasets that were created by using Recovery Goal 1 have their retention range changed to the retention range of the other recovery goals.
To work around this problem, create the IsDatasetExpiryDateChangeInModifyPgAllowed DWORD under the following subkey, and then set its value to 0:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Data Protection Manager\Configuration\MediaManager

  • LONG TERM INSPECTION CHARACTERISTICS

can any body guide me   my quality plan have short term and long term characteristics  0010 operation i maintained  all characteristics is short term characteristics  and 0020  operation all characteristics link with class  i am not maintained   short and long term
my query is  i am not enter any values in 0010 operation  i enter 0020 operation characteristics but once i done  usage decision this  characteristics  not update for batch  means  if i maintain any long term characteristics  in quality plan  system should not update for batch characteristics
if any body done this business kindly revert me this is urget .

No need that all characteristic should have status '5'.
But the result only which has status '5' would be updated to batch characteristic value.
If a batch characteristic is long-term and required characteristic, the status would be '1' when first usage decision.
When you record the result for the long-term characteristic, the status would changed '5'.
Then you should save usage decision againg for batch characterstic update.
    Regards

  • Capacity requirement for long term planning and make to order planning

    hello,
    anybody please guide me.
my client using make to order scenarion and we are doing regulaly MRP run is MD50 with refernce to sales order.
sales orders planning will follow for 2 to 3 months.
at the same time my client wants to do long term planning also. to analize the capacity.
for that he is creatind planning scenario and multi level planning with MS02 also.
But the problem is when they are checking capacity requirement in cm38 it is showing only planning scenario load only. my client wants existing load and longterm planning load also. so they can plan the planning is sutibale in existing plan.
so how can i get both plan in CM 38or is there any other T.code to get that data.
    please suggest me
    Thanks & Regards
    Bhakta

    Hi Pierre and Rajesh,
When we create the simulation version, you have the possibility to choose the short-term planning. My point of view is, you can use the LTP fonction to do your scheduling for ex the next 3 months.
I think it's what Pierre did. Am I right ?
between to scheduling scenario to deliver my customer. With the simulation mode I can do my scheduling + use the MRP simulation to check if the raw material are available or not. Then use the MD04 to do the comparaison (or MS04 to compare between 2 scenario).
    But I found 2 problems :
First : I don't find the parameters to show in the graphic MFS0, the planed fix order (I can only see the process order)
Second : When my scheduling is finished, I want to update my operational planning with the simulation version. But I don't want to do article by article : when you have 400 references (raw mat, packaging, finish goods)  it's impossible (same issue like Pierre)
Have you found a solution for this 2 points ?

  • The most cost-effective long-term solution, Upgrade or Buy Newer Computer?

I am looking for the most cost-effective long term solution for me as an self-employed interior designer. I need help making a decision: Is it reasonable to upgrade my iBook G4 (RAM, operating system)(+bigger hard drive)(+buy new rechargeable battery)(+buy new portable power adapter)?; or do I need to abandon it and buy a newer apple computer (0-2 years old)?
    ABOUT MY MAC:
    Hardware Overview:
    Machine Model: iBook G4
    CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (1.1)
    Number Of CPUs: 1
    CPU Speed: 1.2 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
    Memory: 256 MB
    Bus Speed: 133 MHz
    Boot ROM Version: 4.8.7f1
I will appreciate your suggestions very much! Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Cali and Welcome to Apple Discussions,
I think that decision would depend on how you plan to use this laptop. In addition it would depend on your client base and the image you need to project.
I used to be a commercial producer. If I was still doing that today I'd need to project a successful up to date image. My clients at the large agencies were/are attracted to the latest technologies. I would have the hippest iPhone apps and probably a 15" Unibody MacBook Pro.
I have a pro photographer client who wanted to buy an iMac a few years back but I insisted she buy a Mac Pro with at least two of the largest Cinema Monitors she could afford.
She has thanked me multiple times since she says her clients are so impressed with her images when she displays them on those large monitors.
So it would depend on how you're using the laptop and your client base.
The first thing I see with your iBook is that your RAM is pretty minimal. If you update that would be the first thing to do.
This is actually the iBook that I use and for me it's very cost effective. They're both 1.2 GHz machines. I use a 14" around the house and a !2" when we're traveling. It is very cost effective for me as I purchased them broken for under $125 total. I use salvaged drives and RAM. It works for me since my business is repair and the clients are impressed how well my 5 year old iBook works.

I am a long-term user of Lightroom as a standalone product with a perpetual licence. As a retired person on limited income, it is very disappointing to me that Adobe have introduced the 'Creative Cloud' (CC) subscription service in order for me to be able to continue upgrading this excellent product. It will be for me too expensive at the minimum cost of £9 per month. The additional services that CC brings are personally of no relevance or usefulness. Adobe should be prepared to support existing users who are, like myself, non commercial, amateur photographers by giving them the simple opportunity to upgrade to Lightroom 6 as a standalone, perpetual licence product. As a member of a camera club I know my co-members who use Lightroom are equally disappointed by this move to a subscription-only service.

That is possible, John, but it is only speculation on your part. Might, not will.

There is a "Lightroom 6" upgrade available for US $79 if you have a valid license for any of the earlier versions. From what I can tell, the only difference between Lightroom 6 Full, Lightroom 6 Upgrade and LightroomCC is in the license. The download file is the same.
Other differences - with CC you get LrMobile/LrWeb and they throw in a free copy of Photoshop too.
Yes, but when I bought my standalone license and clicked on the "Download" button it took me to the LightroomCC page. The downloaded file is named Lightroom 6, but in the CC app the installed program is LightroomCC (2015).
