I file sono poi stati firmati con PDF Signer (utilissimo per la firma massiva dei PDF)
Riverificati con la "Verifica preliminare" di Acrobat XI sono risultati ancora conformi allo standard PDF/A.
I file sono quindi stati salvati abilitando le funzionalità avanzate di Adobe Reader (creazione commenti e misurazione) e incorporando le informazioni di verifica per la convalida a lungo termine della firma.
La "Verifica preliminare" di Acrobat XI ora indica che i PDF non sono più compatibili con lo standard PDF/A-1b (2005)

Long-Term validation feature in PDF is not compatible with PDF/A as you have already found out. In Acrobat XI LTV info is automatically added to the signed PDF when a PDF is saved again (after signing). You need to turn this feature off (it is ON by default). Go to Edit->Preferences->Signatures->Verification->More and change the radio button for "Automatically add verification information for signed PDFs" to "Never".

You got it backwards, add-ons need to be compatible with Firefox, not the other way around. When Firefox is updated, the add-on needs to be updated.
The Firefox version of that toolbar, available from here - http://www.linkedin.com/static?key=browser_toolbar_download - and here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/linkedin-companion-for-firefox/- hasn't been updated for Firefox 5.0 yet.
You can force "compatibility" with this extension, but if that extension isn't coded correctly for Firefox 5.0, it ain't gonna fix it. <br />

You'll have to see how well that add-on works in Firefox 5.0.

Reader X not compatible with PowerPoint?

I frequently create Microsoft PowerPoint presentations with linked PDF documents. This has never been a problem until the update to Reader X - now, when attempting to open a linked PDF from Show mode in either PowerPoint 2003 or 2007, the PowerPoint application crashes. I uninstalled Reader X and reinstalled Reader 9 and the files open with no problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue and resolved it using Reader X?

you can find earlier versions of Adobe reader at their ftp site (even back to version 6.x):

Up till now I have not received any notification of Adobe or someone else that this would be fixed. However, I see now on their ftp site that an update is available of adobe X, version 10.0.1 dd 8 feb 2011. However, not all languages are available (yet). Possibly the problem might be solved with this update, but I did not test that yet.

I have a DSC-T1 Sony camera. I also have a Panasonic video camera with a built in digital camera. I just took some shots with the Panasonic. Plugged it in, and it worked perfectly. iphoto opened and did what it was supposed to do. I then tried the Sony and nothing happened again. I have just updated my old ipod touch and after restore failing I have had to setup as new ipod, but now can not intall all my apps. i have tried installing app from store and message reads app not compatible with ipod or newer OS required.

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

It was functioning properly after installation and now I get these messages when I go to print: "The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop Elements, or the saved printer is no longer available. You need to check your printer settings before printing." and then this statement: "Default printer could not be opened." I have reloaded drivers for both printers and made any upgrades possible. Ask in the DW forum and be much more specific about the requirements for your FTP connection like its ports, TLS settings and so on.

Slave instance can not synchronized with the master for a long time, and the gap of LSNs between slave and master are more and more larger. The transfer bytes per second between master and slave is 118MB/s , upper limit to the ethernet card. Why???
ENVIRONMENT:
1. A network program which we called mcdb is based on BDB 4.8.30. It is used to accept get/set requests and then query data from bdb or save data to bdb.
2. mcdb implements replication with bdb replication manager api. The default start replication policy is DB_REP_ELECTION, rep ack policy is DB_REPMGR_ACKS_ONE_PEER and rep priority is 100.
3. The bdb data files, bdb log files, region files and rep files are all in the same home directory.
4. There are two instances of the mcdb are separately on two standalone servers which has no other programs. These two instances are in one replication group which can elect a master automatically.
5. The master instance is online, which has lots of requests (get, set, delete).
ACTIONS:
1. Start two mcdb instances on two servers and the two instance make a replication group. Slave has already synchronized with the master.
2. Stop the slave for a long time (more than 20 hours).
3. Start the slave instance to synchronize data with master.
RESULT:
1. the gap of LSNs between slave and master are more and more larger.

Hi,
Unfortunately, this issue is beyond the level of what is supported over the forum. Performance related issues are extremely complex and require an in-depth understanding of your environment and dedicated support. In a generic sense, you can look at this as a basic queueing problem. You have a server that went down and work is still coming in. When the server gets started it is possible that it may never catch up depending on new work coming in and the rate at processing the old work.
So what would you do in this case --- one thing would be to reduce the new work coming in. In HA terms this would be slowing the master down and you can increase DB_REP_ACK_TIMEOUT for this. Another thing you could do is add fresh servers to help reduce the workload. In HA terms, this would be the equivalent of restarting the client and give it a fresh look at everything. Another thing you could do is replan the system and load balance. In HA terms, it would mean something like take a hot backup of the master and reinit a client from scratch.

Do you have one, two or more entries in the left colum of Mail.app for your mail server(s)? That is, do you have your Mail.app set up with either a btinternet entry, with a btyahoo entry, or both? Or more?
I'm guessing that you might have one account (btyahoo?) listed for incoming (IMAP server) mail, and with the outbound (SMTP server) mail is configured and named btinternet.
Based on what little I see posted, it looks like BT uses both btinternet and btyahoo, but I'm not exactly clear on how they have their stuff set up, and their web set gets helpful and tries to help configure my mail — I don't immediately see a single web page with the mail server set-up details. The BT email client set-up starts here.

Look in your Applications folder. If your system behaved as expected, you should have an iMovie 9.0 folder in your Applications folder. Apple moved the old version there as even they suspected the new versions was a train wreck.

I do think you should ask yourself if upgrading to Lion is the right course to take.
Snow Leopard is an excellent OS and Lion has literally been frozen out after barely a year. Remember too that some of your apps may not work with Lion (those that have Rosetta, for example) so that could mean more new purchases. Plus you may need to uprate your RAM too.
