Long waiting while calendar synchronization

Experts,
This is what I did.
Before synchronization, I have archived all of contacts in outlook and deleted. Then I sync the contact (about 200 ) from CRM to outlook via outlook. Synchronization was successful. I restored the old contact ( about 600 non- sap-crm category)  back to outlook and created a couple of new contacts in outlook (SAP CRM Category). Now when I try to sync, it's just stuck at a point where it reads data from outlook and not moving any further. I allowed 10 minutes initially and gave another 10 minutes when it's timed out.
Could you please help me, what method or class it calls to trigger the synchronization action?
Thanks,
Sri

please create an OSS ticket for this. I assume you are loosing the HTTPS connection with so many data to be compared in one shot. Support will be able to find the root cause of this. there was a fix for large scala sync in a later version.
cheers

    My external HD of 1TB is not being recognized by the iMac and when after a long waiting period it does, the whole computer becomes extremely slow. Do I need any particular add-on to make it workable?
    Before I updated to OS X Mavericks I was using another external disk that was getting disconnected ocasionally so I bought a new ADATA HD710 portable 1TB Drive and moved the files to it. This new drive which is supposed to be OS X Mavericks compatible takes minutes to show the files especially when opening second and third level folders which has made mu iMac unusable
    What should I do?

    Your Mac should be able to recognize many different types of drives (including Windows-formatted drives) immediately for Reading, provided they are in good working condition and not damaged. There should be no need to transfer to a different type of drive.
    If there is no recognition of this drive, see if it can be seen in Disk Utility.
    If your aim is to transfer the data on it DO NOT use ERASE or PARTITION as these will completely erase all the information on the Drive.
    If the drive is present while the Mac sleeps, it is likely to drop out and not be seen any longer, especially if it is a USB-powered drive.

  • Everytime I try to scan it says "Please wait while windows configures scan".

    Hi guys. I am trying to use my HP Photosmart D110 on my windows XP SP3. I am using the same printer on another computer (Windows 7) and it works perfectly. I don't know why everytime I try to scan it tells me "Please wait while winows configures scan". I have done research on this and nothing has helped. Some people it has something to do with scan.msi. People found success with the issue I have with this forum
    http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Scanning-Faxing-and-Copying/HP-C7250-quot-configures-quot-itself-every-...
    Unfortunately, the program "Windows Installer Clean Up Utility" is no longer available and has been replaced with "Microsoft Fix it" and the person who answered the question (rasengan-bankai) said to look for "scan" but in the list it doesn't show anything that specifically that says that. This is what the list contains (that has to do with HP):
    HPAppStudio
    HP Product Assistant
    Solution Center
    I don't know what to do and anything that helps fix the problem will be greatly appreciated. Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with the subject but the computer I am using (Windows XP SP3) was not working a while back and had to replace the hard drive and reformatted it.
    Thanks a lot for your help.

    It sounds like your install has become messed up in some manner.  It is possible that not all portions installed correctly or that registry keys tied to the program have been broken.  I would advise performing a cleanup uninstall process and then reinstall the software on your PC.  I will provide these steps below.
    1. Run disk cleanup on your computer
    2. Download and run the software and drivers below.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-80511-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...
    3. Once the download is done extracting, cancel the download.
    4.. Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
    5. Type %temp% in the run field and click OK.
    6. Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
    7. Open folder Util
    8. Open folder CCC
    9. Run the uninstall_ L4.bat for non-HP computers.  For HP computers run the Uninstall_L3.bat
    10. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
    11. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools
    12. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player
    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
    13. Use this tool to clean the system and registry.  Note: This utility is not HP sponsored or approved.  HP and I are not responsible for damages or loss of data caused by the utility.  This step is optional.   You can skip it if you want.

  • Why must I "Please wait while Windows configures iTunes" again and again?

    I have just allowed the automatic settings to update my iTunes. The last time this happened it meant that the icon left on my desktop would not simply START iTunes, but instead went through the entire installation process all over again. Someone gave me some good advice and I was able to make the correct changes - it stopped and I have enjoyed it since.
    This time, every time I click the icon, I must "please wait while Windows configures iTunes".
    So, how do I fix this one?

    Just adding my voice to a long and growing list of unhappy iTunes users who by now have spent hundreds of thousands of unproductive hours searching for a solution. My guess is that the latest iTunes install package (as with those for earlier versions of iTunes) fails to update the registry properly. It's possible that Apple is not responding becasue it hopes many of us will give up on Windows nd buy an Apple Mac (Jobs is sounding more and more like Gates did 20 years ago). Let's see a little more grace from Apple and a solution before the cows come home.

  • ITunes 7.2: "Please wait while Windows configures iTunes" on every startup

    I am running into the some issue. With all of the problems everyone else is running into with the 7.2 install - I am happy that this is all I have going on - but it is getting irrating. EVERY time I start iTunes I get the windows installer starting with the "please wait while Windows configures iTunes."
    I have uninstalled, used a reg cleaner, reinstalled with 7.2.0.35. QT runs without issues. I am not sure where to go from here.
    When I ran the install - i had the windows installer create a log. I found the following error in it:
    Action start 13:15:02: AppSearch.
    Info 1402. Could not open key: HKEYCLASSESROOT\pcast. System error 5. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
    Action ended 13:15:02: AppSearch. Return value 1.
    I ran the installer as Administrator so permissions should have been covered.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I’ve tried the indicated solution and it didn’t work. I gave full permissions for Administrators, my user (which is an Administrator) and Everyone, for every single key and sub-key. It didn’t work.
    Then, I deleted the .pcast. When I opened iTunes again it came back without the permissions again.
    How long it will take for Apple’s programmers to correct this garbage? I’ve read several forums where people reformatted their computers to make it work again. This is simply unbelievable! I’m using the last version (7.4.2.4). I’ve found people complaining since version 7.2.x.
    Ah! I forgot. Of course, the problem is the Windows Vista.

  • All-day long activities in Calendar don't adjust height

    I have a lot of all-day long activities in Calendar, but it clearly wasn't designed for that because it only shows two or three of them and I have to keep scrolling all the time—which on the iphone and the ipad is a bit tricky. Is there some workaround to make the space auto-adjust in height? Thanks.

    I take it then you don't have a memory problem. Just to clarify, your events on the calendar are fine, it's just the display
    on the home screen where they disappear?
    Have you tried a battery pull to reset all options?  Pill the battery from the phone while it is ON, leave it out for about a
    minute and replace. Leave the system completly reboot 1-2 minutes and see if the problem continues. This is a common fix on these forums.

  • "content preparation" "please wait while document is prepared for reading"

    Adobe Acrobat Pro (9.0.0 running under Windows XP 32-bit) pauses frequently with a pop-up labeled "Content Preparation" and "Please wait while the document is prepared for reading".  This popup occurs at random times.  I am trying to fill out a lengthy grant application form, and this pop-up steals the keyboard in the middle of my filling in the blanks, so that my form is riddled with typos.  Help!  How do I stop this pop-up from appearing?  This problem started maybe one month ago.

    Regarding the long pauses in Acrobat during which it pops up a "content preparation box" and steals the keyboard input, I tried many things (reinstalling, etc).  The problem now seems to be solved.  The step that appears to have fixed the problem was as follows (windows XP) Start > accessories > accessibility.  Within accessibility I opened every dialog box and unchecked every checkbox.  (I have no idea how they got checked in the first place.)  Apparently there are no settings in Acrobat itself that affect this behavior.

  • Wait While Processing - Javascript?

    Hello
    I have two applications which take a while to processes.
    I would like to display a mesaage asking the user to wait while processing is been completed ... also stop them from entering "send" twice
    I expect a solution I looking for is a Javascript?
    Any help is very welcome
    Thank you
    Pete

    Hi Pete,
    If you are using an Ajax call to start your processes, you can use: "GetAsync". It is a function of an ajax request object.
    1. Create a div which containts your waiting logo or text (put it in the page footer or something like that)
    <div id="AjaxLoading" style="display:none;padding:5px;font-size:18px;width:200px;text-align:center;left:48%;top:48%;position:absolute;border:5px solid #2A689F;background-color:#FFF;">..Loading..<br /><img src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#ajax-loader.gif" /></div>  2. Create a javascript function that triggers the div while loading, and disables your button while loading
    function f_AsyncReturn(){
             if(p.readyState == 1){
                         html_ShowElement('AjaxLoading');
                         $x('P1_YOUR_SAVE_BUTTON').disabled = true;
             }else if(p.readyState == 2){
             }else if(p.readyState == 3){
             }else if(p.readyState == 4){
                         html_HideElement('AjaxLoading');
                         $x('P1_YOUR_SAVE_BUTTON').disabled = false;
             }else{return false;}
    } 3. Create/Edit your ajaxRequest with the following (where **Your_app_process** is your application process that triggers or executes your long process)
    var ajaxRequest = new htmldb_Get(null,&APP_ID.,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=**Your_app_process**',null);
    ajaxRequest.GetAsync(f_AsyncReturn);Note that this sollution requires an ajax call to work. To make a progress bar with simple page processes (that trigger long processes), you'll need to go the "old fashion way".
    This mean you need to return values while executing the process, and catch them in the calling process. Then make sure you use these values to fill in a progress bar or something.
    Personally I'd go for a application process that executes your long process(es) and use the aSync method. It looks really clean and web 2.0.
    *Edit: I used this method in my Drag and Drop planboard: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=52879:1
    If you drag an order to a new field, and Save the record. You'll see a loading image (very briefly, because the process is quite short)
    Hope this helps,

    There's also the AdminServer.log to scan. I don't know if this will solve your problem, but I too had the same problem with my VM Manager (running in a VirtualBox VM on my machine, whilst the VM servers are running bare metal) after restarting it. After scanning the log I noticed that there was a complaint of time drift between the OS and the DB so I did an ntpdate -u , restarted the system and upon re-accessing the Manager, all was well again. Yes, time sync is quite important for the Oracle VM Manager for a few reasons: firstly, to align stats received by all the Oracle VM Servers to manage policies in the pool, also Oracle VM Manager is automatically configured as an NTP time source for Oracle VM Servers that are discovered, so it's worthwhile trying to run Oracle VM Manager all the time as a reference time source in your environment.Ah, gotcha. Well then, I might have to move from using openfiler on third server to a proper linux host using tgt to export iscsi luns and run the Manager there. My workstation is a little less stable/static than a proper sandbox server :-)
    Thanks Avi.

  • If the flash object is placed in 0px div, the creationComplete event is fired after a long wait time

    <Problem>
    My requirement is to hide flash object on browser. However, If the flash object is placed in 0px div, the creationComplete event is fired after a long wait time. Is this a bug of Flex? (or Flash Player?)
    <Sample Code>
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" layout="absolute"

    If the flash object is placed in 1px or larger div, the creationComplete event is fired immediately.
    The problem occurs with other browsers(IE9,IE10,FF,Chrome) too.

    Thank you for your response. The computers are indeed running Flash Pro CC 13.1.0.226. I tried to generate a minidump file on four different computers where Flash Pro hung, but was not able to do so on any of them as Flash Pro makes the entire system unresponsive. I get the spinning circle cursor and then the GUI of all apps greys out and fails to update. I don't actually get any sort of error message; everything simply stops responding.
    I was probably unclear above; even if I can alt-tab I can't really interact with any other programs once Flash Pro hangs beyond one or two mouse clicks. So on some computers I could right-click on the process in Process Explorer and choose to create a minidump, which then froze, or I might right-click on the process and have it immediatly freeze. I've experienced about two dozen crashes and I've never been able to really use another program or even kill the Flash process in task manager. I also have to power off the computer by holding down the power button, since while I might be able to open the Start menu I can't reach the point of being able to shut it down without it freezing.
    From what I was able to see in Process Explorer, Flash Pro was using <1% CPU and 120M private / 170M working memory.

  • Please wait while ...

    HI ppl,
    Give me some ideas how to display a msg "Please wait while page loads " while jsp page is doing long database operations.
    I know how to achieve this in html pages using javascript when page loads big image but with long database operations javscript trick doesnt works.
    Any thoughts???
    Thanks in advance.

    There is one little sneaky trick that might work, but I'm not sure if this will work all the time. Here's what you do:
    1. page where you fill in a form to store in the database or something. Hit submit
    2. submit to a simple JSP page which has the text you want to show the user, plus all the submitted data in hidden inputs. in the body tag, add an onLoad='document.formname.submit();' to submit the hidden input fields to the page that does the database action.
    The old page SHOULD stay visible until the database operations are completed, as long as you don't generate ANY output before the database transactions are complete... but again don't shoot me if it doesn't (or better yet, shoot the browser for clearing the display buffer to soon) :-)

  • 10.4 and long waits configuring external displays

    I have recently upgraded to 10.4.2. When I connect an external projector to my PB it takes at least 4 times longer than 10.3 for the PB to:
    1. detect the external display
    2. set the external display resolution
    I am spending forever with "blue screens of wait" while the PB sorts itself out.
    Anyone else had this experience? This delay is so bad I am considering going back to 10.3.

  • Error this object is corrupt or is no longer available while trying to open a embedded files in word 2007 or 2013

    Hi All
    Word 2007 and 2013 always show this error
    This object is corrupt or is no longer available while clicking a embedded files( like pdf, doc and xls). I tried reinstall office 2007, and office 2013. But still have same problems.
    I surf internet, find out solution like turnning  off the add-on,  but not working for me, and I do not install Norton AntiVirus.
    Does anyone know what the solution of this issue is, I do not have any idea right now.
    Thanks in advance!!!!!

    I notice there is a cross post on Answer Forum:

    Is Dinel's suggestion helpful?

  • Launching VB6 Editor after installing Visual Studio 2013 results in "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Visual Studio..."

    I have had various versions of Visual Studio installed beside Visual Basic 6.0 Enterprise for some time with no problems, most recently Visual Studio 2012 Premium.
    I recently installed Visual Studio 2013 Premium, and now every time I open VB6 I get a dialog that says "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2013" that shows a progress bar. After it finishes (30 seconds or
    so), it launches again and again and finally VB6 will open. This happens with each instance of VB6, regardless if I've already done it once and never run VS2013 in between.
    If I cancel the dialog, I get this error message in a dialog: "Error 1712. One or more of the files required to restore your computer to its previous state could not be found. Restoration will not be possible." Several more "Please wait"...
    dialogs will appear and if I continue to cancel, eventually I'll get the VB6 editor. It appear to work fine despite the error messages.
    It seems to me that the VS2013 installer flagged some dll's or other files to be rolled back whenever starting VB6. It doesn't appear to be necessary, and I'd like to avoid playing the "Please wait" wack-a-cancel-button game before launching each
    instance of VB6 (or waiting several minutes for no reason). So how do I fix this?
    Note: I've seen something similar happen in Outlook on a different PC when upgrading from 2010 to 2013. The same sort of "Please wait"... dialog would appear each time I opened Outlook. Judging by the "similar" questions that popped up when
    entering this forum post, I'd say this is a general problem with upgrading older versions or installing newer versions of major Microsoft software side-by-side.

    I found the answer!
    I was having the exact same issue, and I was search for a solution and I happened across the following thread: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/f4b0fd38-f4f9-41ea-bd8d-834203a175d2/building-visual-studio-2010-project-triggers-please-wait-while-windows-configures-visual-studio?forum=vssetup&prof=required
    Scroll a small bit down, and there is a post by Barry Wang explaining that you need to use event viewer to find out what is missing. Anyway, I opened event viewer, then open VS 6, then hit refresh in the event viewer (under Windows Logs -> Application)
    and saw a warning message from MsiInstaller. It gave me the following message:
    Detection of product '{9C593464-7F2F-37B3-89F8-7E894E3B09EA}', feature 'Visual_Studio_Professional_x86_enu', component '{E3FF99AA-78B9-4A06-8A74-869E9F65E1FE}' failed.  The resource 'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\URTInstallPath_GAC\' does
    not exist.
    I opened an elevated command prompt, I navigated to the C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework folder and verified that 'URTInstallPath_GAC' didn't exist, and then I did "md URTInstallPath_GAC".
    Closed and reopened VS 6, and it instantly opened - no "Please wait" message.
    Now this may or may not be the same problem you are having (problem is - I have had it happen on two separate computers now with VS 6 and VS 2013 installed), but it should point you in the right direction. In fact, you should be able to use the Event Viewer
    for anytime the "Please wait" message shows up for any application, and then once there find out what is really missing.
