Look for services in OSR from OSB

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there is a wsdl of OSR that allow me to access the services information from a proxy service in Oracle Service Bus. I tried with Inquiry wsdl but didn't work. I want to get the information of a service registered in OSR from the service bus. Is it possible?

Did You ever use - iPhoto ?
Did You may be direct iPhoto to a different Photo Library
As iMovie tries to find the appropriate photo library - it can get lost if iPhoto direct it into a Library on a not connected external hard disk or to a strange location - And iMovie HANGS.
Do - When no other program is running that might interfere
• Start iPhoto - BUT NOW KEEP alt-key (option key) DOWN during the full Start-Up process
• Now iPhoto let's You select Photo Library
• Select the one in Your Account / Home folder / Pictures ! !
• Then iPhoto should start up OK
• Now Quit iPhoto
• START iMovie
Does it still hangs - then I would suspect - iMovie Pref. file
If it Run's OK - Then HURRAY !

I keep getting a 'Looking for backup disc' message from my Time Capsule.

I keep getting a 'Looking for backup disc' message from my Time Capsule. I have set it up several times without any apparent problems (I have even done a Hard and Factory reset). Everything seems fine until I ask Timemachine to 'back up', and then the problems start.
Any ideas?

I had the exact same problem. I bought the Time Capsule this past July and it worked fine for about a month then it told me it hadn't backed up in 10 days and was stuck looking for the backup drive. I called Apple and they said the reason was that the Time Capsule was in Bridge mode. I launched Airport Utility and sure enough, it was. I changed it to DCHP and NAT (Airport Utility -> Network tab -> Router Mode). After updating the Time Capsule, I couldn't even get on the Internet, let alone do a backup. A logged into the software for my cable modem and discovered that it too was in Bridge mode.
It turned out (for me) that neither should be in Bridge mode (which is for connecting two networks). Your cable modem only has one IP address. Your Time Capsule should be doing the NAT (Network Address Translation) which translates the internal IP addresses on your network to the one IP address your cable modem has. When I switched my Time Capsule to DHCP and NAT, it conflicted with the fact that the cable modem was also trying to do this. The answer was to turn this off on the modem (allowing all the packets to just go through the modem to the Time Capsule and let IT do the NAT). I did that last week and since then, my Time Capsule has been working perfectly.
1) Go to your cable modem (via a browser, enter "http://192.168.100.1"). Log-in and find the setting that indicates NAT. If you're uncomfortable doing this or can't find it, call your cable company and ask Tech Support to do it for you. They can do it remotely.
2) Launch Airport Utilty. Go to the Network Tab and change the router mode to "DHCP and NAT".
3) You may need to restart your modem and Time Capsule. I can't remember if I had to or not.
I hope this helps. I tried many things but this is the only solution that fixed it for me. And it makes sense. Only one device, the cable modem or the Time Capsule, can be doing the NAT.

Looking for a wireless audio from any source`

I have an Apple TV, iPhone 6, and Dell PC. I am shopping for a self-amplified speaker system which can WIRELESSLY stream audio over my home WIFI network (probably not Bluetooth) for BOTH the following:
MUSIC AUDIO, from ITunes, Spotify, apps from iPhone or PC
VIDEO AUDIO, from Apple TV or broadcast TV
Shopping around there seem to be several brands which do one or the other, but it’s not clear to me there is any system that does both. Is that true?
For example, Apple’s AIRPLAY enabled speakers (or normal speakers hardwired to my TV) seem require streaming though Apple TV. Can I also stream Spotify or other apps with AIRPLAY speakers? And NON-AIRPLAY speakers (like SONOS) clearly support most streaming sources, however do they also work with Apple TV for video, and if so without hardwiring the speaker to the TV?
I’m looking for something that does it all, and without complicated workarounds, and with a seamless interface on my device. Wirelessness of the speaker itself—i.e. not hardwired to signal source like SONOS does—would be an added bonus, but not necessary.
Some brands I am looking at: KEF SONOS Bowers & Wilkins Bose
Can you help me, or set me straight if I am wrong about these assumptions?

so that would make spotify be able to play out of airplay speakers be it an Apple TV or airport express with speakers connector or a

Multiple doc type setting for service PR generated from Maintenance order

Hi Gurus,
My client has multiple company code and has different document type for PR and PO as per the company code. For generating the service PR from maintenance order system take the document type of PR defined in the config.
Is it possible to define multiple document type for service PR depend on the company code/ Plant level?

I used the User Exit COZF0001 . Since we can assign only one PR doc type in the config .
I have assigned one PR doc type in configuration which will work for a company code and all their respective plant. So in this case user exit wont do any job for changing the doc type.
You will defined a condition in the User exit saying that if company code /plant which you get it from maintenance order is not same (Config ) then provide the PR doc type which you want to create for respect plant or company code.
I dont have coding right now with me. You need a small coding to be done to create the separate PR doc type in EBAN-BSART
with respect to plant . Check in your configuration at what point of time you are creating the PR either in saving or release of MO. You can take the even to activate the User exit.
Consult your ABAPer they can do in 10 min.

"Getting started" for connectivity to OAM from OSB

I am completely new to OAM IdXml. I need to do POC to make connectivity to OAM for CRUD operations from OSB.
Where can I start from? Is there any "Getting started" Guide or Any beginer steps to follow to get started?

I'm very familiar with organizing in iTunes, and I prefer to have iTunes organize my library and COPY any media I add (that way I don't have links to media everywhere).
iTunes and iPhoto are totally different except that they both start with "i"
(1) linking to my existing folders and photos
Advantages:
Keeping the library file small (so as to keep iPhoto speedy to open/navigate?)
Preserve folder structure
Drawbacks:
Can't remove pics from the hard drive after I've previewed in iPhoto. I would have to preview all the pics in my respective folders, remove the ones I don't want, then import and tag, etc.
Additional major drawbacks
In addition to the more difficult import workflow as you note above deleting photo is more difficult (delete in iPhoto and then again from the hard drive outside of iPhoto)
And upgrading/replacing hardware is much more difficult
(2) copying the media to the iPhoto Library file. I like this idea because I can "Show package contents" if I want to see my originals, and it keeps everything in a nice, tidy file.
Drawback (possible): Does this file, when it gets large, take a long time to open, and does iPhoto slow to a crawl? (I have about 80 GBs of photos to import).
Advantage: I can remove files from the hard drive right from within iPhoto.
That is a large library - mine has just over 30,000 photos in it which consist of about 50GB of photos (total library is about 72GB) which runs great on a 27" iMac (was getting slow on my old G5 before upgrading to an Intel 3.33 GHz core 2 duo)

Is there a way to stop a deactivated iPhone from constantly looking for service (other than Airplane Mode)?

I have an iPhone 4S that has been deactivated for another phone. It's been acting as an extra iPod Touch for me, but after restarting it this morning, I am no longer connected to the cell towers from my old service. Now I am getting a constant cycle of 'searching' and 'no service'. I'm certain this is going to murder my battery life, and I was wondering if there was a way to either reconnect to the towers (without needing service), stay put on 'no service', or completely disconnect the carrier from the device (freeing it from its 'no service'/'searching' bondage).
Clarification: I'm not looking to unlock it when I say disconnect from the carrier, I just want it to stop draining my battery.

Pull out the SIM card, but don't throw it away. You'll need it again if you ever wipe the device and need to reactivate it, even though it doesn't work.

Looking for app to stream from MacBook Pro to iPad

I am hoping soon to get one of the new iPads and would like to play movies stored on my MacBook Pro laptop and watch them on the iPad. What is best one and I dont mind paying for it.

It is a 2 part app-server on Mac, client on ios device.
It streams from any drive, folder on the Mac.
It does live conversion, so you can stream video regardless of format.
I have been using it for a couple years-it is excellent.

Looking for Logoff API functionality from NWA

Hi ,
I have one web application which is deployed on NW 720 system . I have applied security contraint in this web application so when i try access the url pattern it ask user for credentials . But if i close this browser and open a new session then it never ask for user credentials . I guess it takes the user cookie information to re login .
The requirement from my side is to find the API from nwa which can be called during the _jspDestroy functionality so that current user can log off before the broswer is closed . Can you help me here to find that API ?

Looking for Q&A session from July 16th press conference on antenna issue.

Does anyone know where I can find the rest of video, the Q&A session, from the July 16th press conference on the iPhone 4's antenna issue? The post on apple.com cuts it off. Kind of irritating because I'm experiencing the same issue, and I'd like to see what questions were asked. All I can find are a few very small clips here and there on other websites and excerpts of the session with a lot of spin mixed in. I just want to watch it for myself. Anyone know where I can find it in its entirety?

Validation failed for ArchiveClassLoaderDerivedType- Java callouts from OSB

Even though jar file for java classes are present, I am receiving the following error sometimes:
com.bea.wli.config.component.NotFoundException: Validation failed for ArchiveClassLoaderDerivedType ..Referenced component (ArchiveClassLoaderDerivedType ../../Java/.._ArchiveClassLoaderDerivedType) not found.
When I bounce the server then it works, but I can't bounce the server in production. Do anybody know why this is happening?

Unfortunately ALSB/OSB does not seem to honour JAR files packaged in your JAR and referenced by the manifest Class-Path attribute. As well, the JAR files deployed into a project cannot reference each other. As such, you either have to open the library JAR and stick it into the one you are deploying or to put it on the server classpath via the domain lib (you do not need to edit the start scripts). This is definitely a hole in the capabilities of OSB.

Looking for file storage site from where I could stream my vidos

I have a .mov file from time to time, which I would like to store/post on the internet and send people it's URL so people can click on that link and watch that video.
I have tried few sites, including mobileMe. They do provide storage for files but the only way people can watch them is that they have to download them first. When I send people link to that file, it does not stream, but it downloads to their computer first. So I am wondering, is there any site where I could store my video files for streaming?

Mac projector looking for shockwave?? from CD

Just got Director 11 for a hybrid cd and all works fine until
I try to run from cd. Authoring on XP and burning standard hybrid
disc on Mac 10.4. with older version of Toast (5). Director
publishes the 2 projectors fine and no problems with pc version.
The mac projector plays fine from hard drive or usb drive but not
from cd. Is this just a hybrid cd issue or something deeper?

I saw the problem with D11. I thought it was resolved in D11.5. I'm not sure if you can create a hybrid DVD - ie. a DVD that reads differently on a Mac (sees Mac only files) as compared to a PC (sees Windows only files).

You can burn a CD so that a PC user sees an ISO-9660 format and Mac users see HFS CD. I'm suggesting you burn/create an CD image that does not have ISO-9660 for the Mac side.

Looking for ideal intermediate format from AE to Premiere

Hi! I have to ask this because Premiere CS5 still doesn't like still images at all. (http://forums.adobe.com/message/3446018)
We do a lot of animation (3D and 2D), composit them in After Effects and then I'd like to do final color grading and Output in Premiere. Unfortunately since the rise of mercory working with image sequences is nearly impossible. The output of the same image sequence based video to h264 takes three times longer than it does with after effects.
So I'd like to give out an different format (intermediate) from AE to work with in Premiere. It does not have to be necesarily lossles, but it should be good compressive and performative. Thanks a lot for any hints and advices.

I'm hearing from Adobe Professionals in the AE forum recently that color grading poses some serious challenges in H.264.
This was shocking to me, but since it came from Adobe itself, you might want to explore it.
I'm a 5D fellow and these issues concern me directly also.
