Looking for a lightbox style extension for Quicktime Videos

Hi guys,
I am looking for a lightbox style extension for Quicktime Videos. I can't find anything on the net.
Can anyone recomend something easy? Bare in mind I am not good with scripting.more of a designer.

Sorry about all this, but it seems that playing videos in a lightbox window is the ultimate goal.
I have tried the You tube video in my FF and it works O/k except that it does not auto-start. You are correct about not working in IE, (although the documentation says it does!).
I have found another one that works in IE but the QuickTime part does not seem to work in FF, you can check this out yourself as it may be my settings.

(The note on website says that the theme they are using has an effect on compatibility, so this may also cause the problem in FF.)
After much digging around various websites and forums, mootools had a problem working with IE and the recommendation is to download the new version of mootools from: http://mootools.net/download

In the sheet :: table :: cell that is going to receive the data, type an equals sign, then click on the cell that the data will come from and press Return.
This will require that you navigate to the origin cell by choosing the proper sheet.

Looking for easy videos to teach someone OS X

My uncle just got his first computer and I am looking for something to teach him all about his new Mac. Im thinking something like the video professor you see on tv only for Tiger.
I have seen the videos on Apples site but they are all for the ilife suite which is nice but I am looking for something with videos on the little things like how to get on the internet, how to write an email, how to move files, etc... The only other site I have found is the Atomic Learning site but there is alot of things there he will never need like automator and voiceover, etc...
I am also only looking for free videos not paid services or purchases. Thanks all!

There are some free video Tiger tutorials.
Also, Apple has some topics/tutorials on their Mac 101 site and Switch 101 with some QT videos.

I don't know of anything like that. What have you not been able to figure out from the Apple web page for Motion? It looks like you are using Final Cut Pro X, all of the titles, generators, transitions, templates are created in Motion. Companies like Ripple Training and MotionVFX create plug-in tools or templates that are built in Motion, so those are good places to see the capabilites in action. I know these are brief, but here are some overviews by training companies that discuss what Motion can do:

IE9 Shows Blank window for Quicktime Video

I installed latest Quicktime (Quicktime 7) in My windows 7 PC. I am displaying quicktime video in my Asp.Net page. The Video is playing after a very long time, but it is not showing buffering info , it shows a blank white screen until the video gets buffered. The following is the code i used

sorry - i should have been more precise and said the symptoms go away after restarting mail. i said what i said because my experience is that this type of scenario sometimes tends to lead people to conclude falsely that they have identified a solution when in fact they have not. this is why, for example, "reset pram" always was claimed a solution to dozens of problems for which it had absolutely no connection. it was because merely restarting the machine (an essential precursor to resetting pram) made symptoms go away in many cases.
as to your specific point, i have rebuilt envelope index in the recent past and i'm still having the problem. i can't say for sure that it is not the case that something messed up the file in the past and has now messed it up again, so i will give it a try.

Looking for ibook video camera

I am looking for one that offers the following.
1) Is priced under $400
2) Has a light
3) Can plug into my VCR so I can make duplicates or send people my tapes.
4) Uses digital tapes
5) Can plug into my ibook G4 via Firewire or USB 2.x
6) Has a color viewfinder (most seem to have a black and white viewfinder).

I have an old PowerPC dual G5 running 10.4.11 and I'm working on some HD projects at the moment, so it certainly can be done on your machine. Upgrading/extending your RAM might be a good idea though; is that possible on your machine?
If you go HD with the HF-S100, you'll need to be thinking about hard drive space; you'll need a lot of it; it's gonna add up quick. To use content from that camera (which is AVCHD format), you'll be converting it to Apple Intermediate Codec (AIC) to use in FCE (iMovie will be doing the same thing internally, if you use that), and the file sizes are large. I've got a 12 second clip here on my desktop from an HF100 converted to AIC that's 169MB. So do the math... If you're doing a lot of filming you'll need to have a plan for backing up and archiving...offline storage perhaps.
But otherwise I think you've got a machine that will be OK, although I wonder if you have enough RAM....

We just bought an 3rd generation 4G nano for daughter. We woud like to be able to load videos (DVD's) onto her i-pod. What do you recommend for a program to do this. I am looking for a download type program. Any suggestions? Thanks! Kelly Duhrkopf

Looking for Quicktime version 7.1.5?

I'm suffering the same frustrations with the Quicktime/iTunes issue. My iTunes was accidently deleted off my computer and I'm trying to reinstall everything again (iTunes, Quicktime, etc.) with many road blocks. I'm following advise posted to reinstall the earlier versions of everything, but I can not seem to find a download of the 7.1.5 version of Quicktime anywhere.
If anyone could find it in their hearts to help me, I would be appreciative!!! I'm just a girl from Texas trying get my husband to think I know what I'm doing! Ha!

HT1925 I cannot remove or reinstall Quicktime for Windows XP. It keeps looking for Quicktime.msi file. The file is in the folder but it does not think it is the right file. How can I fix this?

Quicktime keeps wanting to upgrade, but it will not finish becasue it cannot find the file quicktime.msi. The file is in the folder where it thinks it is. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but because it cannot find the file it stops. I have tried to run Quicktime but it says it is not there. How can I remove it so I can install it again.

It appears it is fixed. FYI. I went to Major Geeks and it said:

Looking for FCE Video Filter - "Old Movie"

I'm creating a movie where I would like to have the footage look "old"; where the film may be scratched or discolored, maybe even some dropped frames, etc...
I went through all of the video filters on FCE and didn't see anything that got me this effect. (unless I overlooked something or have to use Sepia + ?)
Any recommendations on how to accomplish this?

It is in the QuickTime filters which you access via :-
File>Export Using QT Conversion>Options>Filter>Special Effects.
There you will find a number of effects including the old film look, which you can customise with hairs, scratches, dust and film fading.

I am very new to Flash so any help would be greately appreciated. I am looking to add video and audio clips to my movie. I want the player to be a part of the movie and not just embedded in a web page. Is there a place where I can:
1. Download free players to be used within the movie
2. Get some detailed instructions on how to accomplish it.

flash packages a fully functioning player with a variety of skins (and you can customize the skins and make your own) in the components panel called an flvplayback component.
